Ive been a patron of this business for about two years. I changed to this salon when I was pregnant.I valued safety after I realized that other salons did not actually sterilize their instruments (they used the steripack envelopes to appear clean but didnt actually run them through the autoclave sterilizer). I have been to five different nail technicians and each one was skilled in removing ingrown nails. I had to learn to schedule ahead like every other doctor appointment because there are no walk-ins or last minute appointments. I have to prioritize my safety and overall health now over social events but it is worth it. I have referred a family member with diabetes to prevent infections who continues to use their services. I think this place is unique and should be utilized by those who are serious about their health and do not have strict scheduling requirements. As far as cancellations, well, as a Healthcare provider, I know sometimes we disappoint our clients when unforeseen events occur. I have come to expect issues to arise everywhere in our current lives, but within two years of monthly visits, they have rescheduled me once. I will continue to go back to the salon.
I had an appointment today. Waited a month for this appointment which is hard to come by. I was so excited about the appointment. They call me an hr before my appointment to cancel because someone didnt come to work. They didnt try to accommodate me with another tech. They will charge me $40 if I cancel at the last minute. Wear is my $40. No they just offered me an appointment at the end of July. Today is May 28th. I will not be here again..Treat your customers better.
Until recently I have enjoyed getting my pedicures at this spa, which is conveniently located in the Johnson-Willis Hospital campus. Although somewhat cramped for space, it is clean, bright and efficient. However, my most recent visit was less than satisfactory. While I did receive very good personal service, the staff spent too much time gossiping about other staff members, patients and the salons music. I feel that such behavior lacks professionalism and hope that staff and management refocus their efforts on providing customers with outstanding service. Eye rolling, unkind comments and bad attitudes are best left in middle school.
