This is the most outstanding company I have come across in a long time in terms of customer service and excellent prices. My 89 year old dad has been a shade tree mechanic his entire life and has a 1949 tractor that he has driven since it was brand new. When his magneto would not produce spark anymore he struggled for a week to find a cause. Larry offered to come to my dads place to see if he could help. Larry quickly found the problems and instead of driving back to the shop to fix the problem, Larry took parts from two of my dads old magnetos and fixed the broken one right there in my dads own shop. When we put it on the tractor we had trouble testing the magneto because dad was having trouble with his starter. Larry pulled the starter off and found the problem and he took it back to the shop and told us to come pick it up in 3 hours. When I picked up the starter it was fixed, but to save my dad money he repaired it without my dad having to buy an expensive replacement part. I was shocked at how low his price was for all of the work he did for my dad. He also donated a used battery to my dad that he could use on the tractor. Larry cared enough to contact us the next day to see if we got the tractor started. Because of my dads age and COVID I asked Larry if he would wear a mask even though we were going to be outside working on the tractor and he had no problem in granting my request. This company and Larry is a credit to the community for their outstanding service and fair prices!
Truly sadden that we did our best to keep money local by using a starter rebuilder rather then buying a new starter from a big box store (which would have come with a lifetime warranty) and we got screwed over because we tried to keep it local! I had them rebuild my starter and was told I had a 1 year warranty no questions asked, well the starter failed about 1.5 months later and brought it back to them, they said that the internals where shot and I had to buy another starter which they had ready to go, I though about it for awhile since it was supposed to have a 1 year warranty but they assured me it was not their fault and I believed them. I purchased a new starter from them (for $300) which failed again 8 months later needless to say I was really upset as it take several hours to remove and replace this starter. They said the starter was all used up and it was because I start and stop my vehicle several times a day as part of my job it was my fault. BTW the original starter lasted 7 years of me doing my job without an issue. They would not warranty the part and would not admit the lied to me. They are truly a disgrace to Redmond, please listen to my words and do not do business with these thieves.
My mechanic bought a starter for my vehicle. An Isuzu Bighorn out of Japan. I use this vehicle every day for mail delivery. Hagenmeister was told that this starter was going into a commercial vehicle that would be started continuously throughout each day. Was given a verbal assurance that this part would not fail. Was also told that if anything did go wrong the part would be replaced. Well, the starter only lasted 10 months. Guess what, they did not honor their spoken agreement. Totally got stiffed. You have been warned. Hagenmeister is a dishonest company.
I cant say enough good things about Larry and this business. This is one of those businesses and owners that are getting harder and harder to find these days. I was visiting family from out of the area and on the trip down my alternator started to go out. It was a Friday and we had to leave Saturday evening. I started calling parts stores and know one had the alternator in stock, they would have to order it in, maybe have it by Saturday. Fortunately one of the parts stores gave me the number for Hagemeisters and said they may be able to help. Im so glad he did! I dropped off my alternator at 10:30am and I received a text at 1:00pm that it was ready. Where can you get same-day automotive service anymore!? They rebuilt my original Denso alternator for $150.00. This is a 180 amp $370 alternator from a parts store, even more from the dealer. Larry took the time to talk to me, explain what the common causes of failure are, and then showed me the original parts he replaced. I will be recommending this business to everyone I know in Central Oregon! Thanks again Larry to you and your crew!

Went in to get a starter from a marine Ford 460 overhauled or replaced. Within just a couple of minutes it was checked on a test cart against an identical new unit they had on the shelf. Old one bad, new in in my hand and out the door in 5 minutes. Very nice, helpful, and informative staff. Clean shop. Really impressed. Will return with any future automotive or marine electrical needs. Way better than local auto parts stores. Highly recommend!
What a great experience. Took the starter motor from my John Deere 4200 in to be checked. Bob tore into it right then and there, showed me where the motor was completely burned up and had a replacement in stock. John Deere would have had to order one and at considerably more money. This is where I’m going for all my automotive electrical needs.Fast forward to October. Took the alternator and voltage regulator in for a diagnosis. That happened immediately, followed by the correct replacement parts and a free education about the workings of both items. This shop is without question the place to go for auto electrics.
They were able to fix a little motor that nobody else was able to. They have good customer service. And they were willing to try things that nobody else would.
I recently had a starter rebuilt on a International Harvester back hoe by HEI and it it started having problems starting the Diesel engine. I took it back for diagnosis and the commutator on the armature had ground through the lead on the field winding. Bill, who is extremely knowledgable, patient, and a good teacher, fixed the lead and placed in a new armature at no cost and the 50 year old backhoe starts like a new one.Great job!Mike McDaniel

So bad I cant even wrap my head around what Rhonda and Bill tried to pull on me shame on you both! And they still charged my card $15.00 that I will be disputing with my credit card company beware of this place!
