I recently moved to the area and have been looking for a new place in San Diego to keep my face looking fresh. I had a great experience with Alesya and would highly recommend her. She really listened to what I wanted and also explained best practices for looking good long term, which I really appreciated. I often get lightheaded whenever I have a procedure done with needles, and Alesya made sure I was well taken care of and even gave me some apple juice :) I also bruise really easily and sometimes look like I just finished an MMA fight after getting injectables at other places — not the case with Alesya. She had me hopped up on juice and bruise-free when I walked out. I’m very happy to have found Alesya and AP and know that I’m in very good hands!

She actually evened out my eyeslids- one was a little lower than the other. I have no idea how but she did it with Botox. She was beyond sweet too, she listened to me and gave me exactly what I was looking for. Their prices were very reasonable and she did not try to upsell me at all. I’m in the service/beauty industry and would NOT recommend this group. I would never treat a client or patient so defensively and with such little concern for their well-being as this group did when something went wrong. I would figure out how to compensate them for a mistake or something that needed to be corrected. I already paid for the service. All they could do for me was charge me more to fix it. This was my first time every receiving a Botox treatment and I asked only for the space between my eyes because it bothered me. I was recommended to Stacy who owns the spa but was given to Ashley. I thought it would be gone and it was still there two weeks later. I went back to talk to them and was bombarded with photos and they tried to convince me that it kinda worked. I left very disappointed. So, I’m sure if everything goes well that’s fine, but if it does’t your out of luck. Very unprofessional.

Botox is an art form, and Stacy is a genius – I only want a small amount and she knows exactly where to put every unit to make the most difference. The result is subtle, but major to me, and makes me feel absolutely fabulous!

I called to make an appointment and asked what kind of accommodations they make (as required by LAW) for people with medical exemptions that cannot wear masks. I was happy to wait outside until my room was ready where I take off the mask anyway but I was told that they do not honor medical exemptions. This is discrimination. They cannot make policies that violate state and federal laws. Yes, they are privately owned but they are open to the public as a public accommodation, and laws are enforced to protect human God-given rights. Guidelines are not above the law. They are recommendations. Even in the mandate which is not to be confused with the law (because governors do not make laws and the health dept. or CDC most certainly do not make laws either) people who are medically unable to wear a mask are exempt.And it’s sad that they are in the medical field and not aware of all the dangers associated with prolonged mask use. Masks do NOT stop or slow the spread of viruses. Masks are worn in the medical field to keep bacteria out of open wounds and that is ALL. And scientific data even proves that is up for debate. It’s a false sense of security that is making people more sick. They’re causing bacterial respiratory infections among a myriad of other issues. We have two airways; our mouth and nose! How could anyone in their right mind think it’s sensible to cover those airways and restrict oxygen. We’re constantly breathing out toxins, cause our bodies are amazing self-detoxifying machines (when given the right conditions), and a mask is a perfect dark moist breeding ground for bacteria to multiply and then you breathe it back in. This is not rocket science, this is common sense which is obviously not so common anymore. Maybe that’s because hypoxia (lack of oxygen) also kills brain cells. Also, if people really believe in their masks WHY do I have to be wearing one for theirs to work? And if they regurgitate the illogical response that they’ve been programmed to respond with, “I’m wearing a mask for you, and you’re wearing one for me” then maybe they can just double up and wear two and then they won’t have to expect other people to wear their fear. We’re being manipulated into disconnecting from the truth that our bodies are intelligent healing machines, they’re ALWAYS at work. Our immune systems are designed to protect us. We should be focusing on things to strengthen our immune system, not weaken it by restricting our airways and breathing in the bacteria and harmful particles from the masks. Don’t you agree a smile can make all the difference? And now we don’t see those anymore. We’re disconnecting from ourselves and each other. The best medicine will always be laughter, sunshine, nature, movement, organic fruits & vegetables, and BREATHING. And your business is perpetuating this fear-mongering and heading us straight to a communist society.What right does this business have to require me to take on a medical intervention without examining that I am capable of undergoing such? I’ll happily remove my comment if you can supply me with any scientific data showing the efficacy of masks stopping or slowing the spread of viruses. However, I will still be filing a civil claim for discrimination. This all comes down to a lack of education, that’s why I will be sending plenty of literature on the unlawful orders and the (in)efficacy of masks. I’ll be sending a more formal letter to put your business on notice as well as sending a copy to the attorney general and DFPI.I have to add, the two receptionists that I spoke with were both lovely and I wish the outcome had gone in a different direction.

What a nice medical spa! I received a facial and waxing from Samantha and it was amazing!! She was very professional and made me feel so comfortable. While I had a mask on my face, she massaged my arms and neck which was a nice surprise! She also made recommendations based on my skin but wasnt pushy. I definitely will be going back!

Ive been an Aesthetically Pleasing Med Spa client for nearly 15 years . Stacy and her team approach skin care with l excellence and artistry. I would never consider going anywhere else. The staff is professional and knowledgeable. A few years ago, I burned myself badly with hot oil and I was left with blisters all over my chest. The doctor sent me home with bandages, but it was Stacy that advised the correct products ( their office is stocked!) to use and to keep the burned area out of the sun for weeks. Today, I cant find one scar - thanks to Stacys concern and knowledge. I always feel so pampered and important when I am there. The facials and skin enhancement procedures are wonderful and priced right! I have never hesitated to recommend AP Med Spa to my friends and family.
