Excellent experience end to end. Kevin was responsive and helpful, providing an estimate and explaining both what was involved, and the cost. Easy to book, transmission fluid + brake fluid flush was completed ahead of schedule and the final bill was exactly what had been quoted. A+.

I was looking for someone specialized in BMW e30s and I could not have found a better place. Super impressed with the quality of the work and the expertise that Kevin has at KD Automotive. Kevin installed a new z3 rack and Chase Bays power steering reservoir, and it is awesome. The shop also installed new rear axles, refreshed all seals on the rear diff, refreshed the emergency brakes, and even replaced the notorious middle and rear brake lines, including a hard line that had been completely stripped and I couldnt get off. That is not easy work on an e30, and KD Automotive took care of it all with no headache whatsoever. I drove away a very happy dude. Kevin also works on many PRO3 e30 cars and that experience certainly shows. I wouldnt hesitate to bring any of my vehicles to this shop, and if youre looking for an e30 shop, absolutely -- this is the shop for you!

This is my go-to shop for my cars needs. Kevin and Dylan are very kind and helpful, and flexible with my crazy schedule while being communicative about when they can squeeze me in. The pricing for the oil change was comparable to others in the area, and they helped me out with a weird issue with my car at a very reasonable T&M rate. They also advised on future services for my vehicle and gave me a quote to think on - not even remotely pushy, but super helpful for planning ahead. Take your car in and go grab lunch at Zaucer next door, super convenient! Highly recommend these guys :)

I have been going to KD for my cars for a while. KD saw both of my cars in the last two days. Great experience. I mentioned a squeak in the engine on one and they found the problem, called with an estimate and took care of it. General maintenance all around.

Excelent service. The attention to detail and quality of work is bar none. Kevin and his crew have my business. I have a collector-grade 1990 325i and the team took excellent care of diagnosing and fixing the driveline issues and leaking hoses. The previous shop did a poor job and KD fixed the things so the car is in top shape.

I noticed both my low beams and fog lights were out. Kevin and his crew got me on the schedule on short notice and got me buttoned up in time to make a family trip down to the Oregon coast. Went in and they tried to tell me there was multiple things wrong with my car... I went in for an oil change. I have a brand new car. So, I checked it out for myself first. Come to find out, there was nothing else wrong and they figured they could tell me there was more wrong so they could charge me more.

My engine light was on so I brought in my 09 VW Jetta, it was a Friday. I was given a free courtesy car, a Mercedes Benz, which I kept until Monday afternoon. They were honest and helpful. The work was done quickly they started working monday morning at it was ready by 11:30am. Everything went smoothly. To my surprise my car was freshly vacuumed and the console had been wiped down.Highly recommended.

My 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee has been in good hands since I found KD Automotive a few years ago. I was looking for a shop that would tell me what was in need of attention and the recommended order of attention necessary. Over time I was able to spread the necessary repairs out such that now there are no(few) problems left. And at each oil change they make sure that I am driving a safe car. Being older that is important to me.

In the automotive world it can be difficult to find people you trust to work on your cars, but Kevin and Jason are awesome! They communicate with you and keep you updated on whats going on, and they do quality work. Between me and my boyfriend, we have brought 4 cars to them and have been happy with the results every time. After going through a few bad mechanics Im happy to say that we are going to stick with KD for all of our cars needs.

A good shop that does very good work. Ive had some minor modifications and some routine maintenance done on my car here and was very happy with the work that they did. The were up-front with everything and went out of their way to provide excellent service.I really like that they do a lot of work with performance cars that are driven to their limits on the track. Because of that they have to hold themselves to a higher standard of quality than what you might find at other (also good) shops. These are the kinds of technicians that I want to work on my vehicles whether Im taking them to the track or commuting to work. I would definitely recommend them.

I havent been to many automotive specialists but the few I have been to have pretty much put me off taking my car in. This is the first shop I have been to that has completely changed my outlook. Kevin is professional and takes a no bs approach. He knows his stuff. Hes upfront and honest. I was impressed. Most definitely a satisfied customer and I would certainly bring my car in again.

This is the second relatively major repair Ive had done to my vehicles recently, and KD has been fast, friendly, and helpful each time. They take the time to explain whats wrong and measure the value of repairs against the value of the vehicle, so you can make an informed decision. Each time they have been at or below their estimate. I will be going back again the next time our fleet has repair issues and for all our regular service.

Worst customer service ever ..Im on a trip Supporting the US NAVY at san diego navy base for 22 days. And my wife called me telling me the Mercedes have a weird noise coming from the engine bay ..I didnt want her to be in danger driving the car so I told her to stop by KD automotive (since its less than a mile far) .so they can tell her if its dangerous or not ..I also offered to pay him only to tell me if its drivable or not .( didnt want him to repair it today) he said no I wont look at it ..thanks for making my wife cry since she have no one by her side .and she know nothing about cars.thanks for being kind losers ..

I brought in my 1991 BMW 325i Sport into this shop the other week for a general tune up and to address leaks. My e30 was beginning to get a bit tired. I asked for them to comb through everything - suspension, clutch/transmission, engine, the works. They painstakingly went through everything, and the car has never run better in all my years of owning it. I am so impressed with their attention to detail, and that they found plenty of extra little things to tune up, often free of charge. They also work incredibly fast. I had a lot of work done, and it only took them 3 business days to see it to completion.These guys know their e30s and are trusted within the PRO3 community.
