Over the course of four years, the management has changed every other year. Towards the end of our stay, there were always gunshots, fighting and shady people walking around. The police were always at the complex and the mailboxes were always being broken into. When we left, the apartment we paid $1,800 a month for was rented out two weeks later for $3,050 a month. You couldnt pay me to live there again. I dont know who would pay $3,000 a month to feel unsafe and live in an unkempt complex. Good Luck to who ever decides to live there. By the way there arent personal water meters and yet they charge you water for the apartment complex as a whole. That is illegal. When there is only one water meter, it should be included in the rent.

Their contracts are super shady. You wont get your Deposit back, because their cleaning crew, carpet cleaning, painting all total $363.00 or more. You need to provide a 60 day notice to lease, but you wont find out how much the lease will increase by until 30 day prior. Having to pay over $2000 because of it. They are only after money, Mail box was broken over 6 months, Waking up every morning at 5am to construction, and the leasing office were no help. Moving in it took me a month just to get internet installed with Frontier, because of the condition the electrical room was in. Packed with junk from old tenants and glass all on the floor. My cable guy refused to work in that environment and was told by the leasing office that I need to go with another provider, instead of them cleaning up that room.

After a year moving out, we still did not get the remaining deposit back. How many times we went to the office and call I do not know. They just try to have more time and make us forget about it. Owner/management of the apartments changed a couple of time during we were living there and after we left. First, they said us that our deposit belong to previous owner and we should asked them. Later, (after I wrote my previous comment here) they found our papers. But still, we did not get anything back. They are so unprofessional in this term. You will probably not get your deposit back, and you will need to spend lots of time calling them.

I seriously would not recommend this place to anyone. Terrible and untrained leasing management. We lived there for several months and the actual building is ok but the management team is a pain to deal with. Each one of them will tell you different things. All of them are not on the same page and all they care about is your money. They will do anything to get your money when you move out. I would look elsewhere that have better management and know how to do their job. Do not waste your money here at Ironwood apartment.

Their contracts are designed to steal your money to the last dollar. Even if you re on a month-month lease, they say you have to give a 60 day notice before you move or else they charge you for those 60 days even if you move.Lots of weed smokers.Large pitbulls in balconies, cant walk to my house without fearing one of them is going to jump. Call them and they dont do anything. No parking.Machine to open the gate never works, have to wait for someone to unlock the gate to get into my own apartment.Never chose this place, or you will lose big money one way or another...

For the most part its a quiet place to live. I have seen improvements over the years but unfortunately I couldnt go higher than 2stars. Mainly due to things like the A/C units always having an issue dont be fooled by the new thermostat in the apartment. The A/C units outside themselves are very outdated and small cant handle the summer heats. With all the things they have remodeled to charge more in rent they leave those things old. This place wants to charge you like its competitors such as the DelMar apartments up milliken but Delmar updated A/C units along with inside apartments and offer a garage with the unit. To spend that kind of money you will be better off not coming here. ..... Ironwood please do better!!

All the office ladies are really illiterate and are useless always have an Attitude expect to be talked to professional yet these women have no types of consideration especially the business partner and assistance manager. Do not live here not worth the price wish they had better customer service .

I’m extremely sad at how poorly trained the leasing team is. We called, spoke to a team member, made an appointment, went to look at the place & when we arrived the team members who was there to help us, had no idea what apartment we were interested in. Once we finally got a tour we were interested in renting here (despite all the negative comments) once back in the leasing office, we asked to view the actual unit we were interested in renting. We were told no & no explanation as to why we couldn’t see it, they said that they would find out if they could show us later & give us a call after lunch. Waited for a call & nothing, so I called them back myself around 1:30ish another team member answered. I told her the situation they responded “idk he’s still on lunch I’ll ask him & call you back”. No call, not even the next day. After that I knew that if this is how they handle things with people interested in renting, that they probably don’t handle anything properly with people living their.

Ive lived here for a year and love it. Its conveniently located and the staff is nice enough (Pam is great). The units are big, and the (small) gym is convenient. Ive never had issues getting maintenance to address my complaints. The one time I had an issue with a crazy neighbor staff quickly resolved it. There are a lot of utility fees including trash and sewer though.

The landscaping is great, prices are decent, leasing office is eh (they usually are) but the reason for the 3 stars is the GYM. It is not kept up at all, the machines are frequently non operational and some machines are left dead for months. This part, as a resident for over a year, is very disappointing considering the price point.

My wife and I have lived here for almost a month. The absolute worst customer service experience I have ever had with anyone. Since the beginning weve experienced issues with things not working. On our move in date they were still cleaning the apartment and prepping it to be moved in. Something that should have been finished days before we got our keys. We had to place two work orders for a broken dryer that was supposedly fixed before they finally came out to replace it. Our garage door opener and one of gate keys havent worked properly since day 1. They gave us the wrong mailbox key, replaced it twice before it properly opened our mail box. (shouldnt have to force the mailbox open!!) We have a gaping hole in the ceiling in front of our entrance door. Luisa, our leasing consultant is rude and condescending. She was great before we moved in.. but failed to make us feel welcome. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE.

I have lived there now for a little over 6 months. Nothing but good things to say at this point. Parking is very ample (for being an apartment complex), everything is very clean, and i think the best and most important reason why im giving 5 stars is because of the service response on the maintenance. I report a clogged bathtub, or a screen that has become loose in the AM, and I come home to everything being fixed by the afternoon. Its pretty amazing. I have reported small things here and there and they never fail. Very nice people too. Definitely worth everything. If I had one con: ELEVATORS. But again, not a deal breaker. Most apartments in the area dont have any.

Rarely do I ever give bad reviews. However, this place has been an absolute nightmare from the beginning and has only gotten worse. Packages getting delivered is an impossibility ever after they make you pay for delivery service. The gate entry system is a farce. The dishwashers and refrigerators work... half the time. And now in the heat of summer the air-conditioner broke. And because their emergency “24 hour” maintenance service number is inactive my wife and new born son had to spend the whole day in a 95 degree house. Never. I repeat NEVER, pay these people a dime. Do not even consider this for a temporary stop.

Living In the Ironwood apartment (4th street) has been the worse experience for me and my family. It’s dirty. Service is poor. Requested maintenance several times. No response. Office ppl. Don’t give a f@;)*. And to top it off they are renovating the apartment upstairs all the roaches started coming down to my apartment. Instead of fumigating all 3 complexes. To get rid of the problem. Anyways I called /entered maintenance req in website to have my apt. Fumigated. 3 weeks to a 1month pass. No one called me until I went to the office and complain. I finally made the appointment. Again Nothing happened the day of my appointment. Requested to speak to the management There’s was a waver i had to sign. But before that no-one from the office or maintenance had the decency to call me and tell me that. Wow. Poor poor service. Sad.My lease is over in 4months. Still living with a broken toilet seat /closet handle broken/ ice maker broken/ fan from master restroom not working well Mold on shower wall. They don’t give, they don’t want to put money on current apartments due to there Renovation. I requested a number from upper upper management they don’t want to provide me it. Any recommendations? It’s just I am paying almost 3thousand for what!

Unprofessional and unorganized. The holding deposit on the property I requested was returned to me on the day I signed my welcome paperwork. I was forced to choose the only apartment they had left. On the day of my move in I was told I couldnt because the assistant business manager in charge of my file had not completed it properly and had to resend out the lease agreement for new signatures despite the fact I had called in twice prior to double check if I needed to do anything before movie in. During move in there was a walkthrough and a work order created. This paper also seemed to disappear because I had to call in again after waiting 6 days and create a new one. Even after all this unprofessionalism I kept quiet and never complained until ONE LAST MAJOR THING HAPPENED. In every phone call and in every visit to the leasing office I had expressed that the only true thing I want was to not hear every little movement or sound that my Neighbors made( peace and quiet). Unfortunately I was completely lied to. On my first night of sleeping in this apartment I realized how bad it was. I can hear everthing my upstairs neighbor is doing, from walking around, watching TV, using the bathroom, or using his/her kitchen. I am woken up every morning by the sounds and I cant go to bed until the upstairs neighbor does. This is the most unacceptable living conditions. This is day 2 for me in this apartment and I already want to move out.

The apartment was nice but overpriced. They are working on demolishing the golf course so since I had a golf course view I also had the pleasure of hearing all the noise. Then I was given the opportunity to take a much cheaper place. Ironwood took my 300 dollar deposit and would not work with me on breaking my lease. My old place (vineyard village) gave me the option to sublet or only charge me for the days it was empty(one week). Ironwood took my deposit $300, and $2000 dollars for breaking my lease, plus the rent on the same day totaling $3440 in one charge, and charged me an additional 25 dollars after I vigorously cleaned and scrubbed the place spotless for 2 days. I wouldnt recommend anyone to live there. They only see $$ instead of people and there is no sense of community. I posted pictures of how I left it I highly doubt that was worth $325 of cleaning.

Very nice place to live. Summer 2015Overview:Well maintained grounds, building, parking lot and trash areas.Pool and sauna are always working and extremely clean. The BBQs are also well maintained but showing their age. Plenty of parking and trash facilities. Buts up against a golf course and a main thrufare. Gated and the gates always work except for motorcycles. It is difficult to get the exit to open on one. Also cars sometime zip in the out gate and I have almost been hit on my bike a couple of times.Apartments: Well insulated against outside noise and heat. Air conditioners are adequate for the entire apartment. Hot water is very hot and plentiful but slow to get to the shower. Extremely hard water. Soak a towel and leave in sun and it can be used as armor. Definitely get a water cooler!!!!!Overhead is not so noise proof, I have been here 5 years and only an older retired couple did not sound as if a pro rodeo was going on. ( they all had kids ). Garage is tight and must be able to park a car so it cannot be used for storage alone. They do check occasionally. Washer and dryers in the apartment are nice and work well.My wife and I both have new cars and have not had any scratches or dents either accidentally or maliciously. Mail is centralized in a few locations and there is really no parking to stop and get the mail.People do tend to block the drive but they are usually quick most often very polite. The office staff have up days and down days but they are always cordial. They are quick to respond to repairs and except packages. You can remotely open the gate via cell phone. We have a maid from Spotless Maid Service and this is how we let her in to the complex. Very dusty place and if the windows are left open on some days it looks like the Gobi Desert blew through here. The screen simply stops the boulders. No play area and only 1 small area that has enough grass area to be able to play and be watched from the patio. It seems as if section 8 class of people are slowly migrating here recently. They are not many but seem to be increasing in numbers They do tend to be friendly but they are loud and inconsiderate. Parking in our parking space and being loud at all hours, They apologize but either continue or do it again the next week. This is why we are moving. The apartments, grounds, service and staff make the cut but the atmosphere is starting to change. NO, I am not talking about race!!!

We rented this place and it was a mistake, they just recently changed the management and it went even worse. People swimimg in the SPA area making all kids of noises after midnight, we called patrol and nothing happened. Until my wife had a medical issue that urged us to move out. We asked to speak with the new manager (Ashley) to help us in the Lease terminator fee ($3,000) she was clear enough that she is not willing to waive it or even reduce it for any kind of reason. It clear that the new managment is Money Oriented and dont care about thier tenants concerns. The place was nice and that what tempted us to rent here. But the management is the worst. Wont recommend.

So we have been there for the past 2 yrs and just recently moved out becuz of job relocation. I want to say we v had the best experience with Ironwood.1: location: this place is at a prime spot, target across the street, 20 some resturants within a mile, there is a costco within 2 miles, and many more! The biggest indoor mall ontario mills is just down the street within walking distance, which is one of our favorite place to shop. We r still considering to go back there n shop even after we moved to somewhere 40 miles away.2: community: it is safe because during day time I see many staff working in the community, who are by the way, the most friendly people I v seen so far. Whenever I ran into them, they always say hi to me with a big smile. And I do work out a lot at their gym and do love to walk with my family in the neighborhood so I can tell how often n regularly they clean their facility and fix n repair stuff. People in the community is hard to tell cuz u have rude people n nice ones everywhere, that really depends. Overally, Most of our neighbors were nice. The ones that we did not like were the ones who drive too fast even in the community where it says 5 mph, with loud music on. Other than that, Ironwood is a quiet place. Too bad the gulf course next door had to be torn down n built into another apartment complex, otherwise people d have enjoyed the nice view facing the gulf course side.3: Building condition: When we first moved in, the rooms r large and bright, I recommend you look up their website n check availability, they have info on which exact apartments r available and where their locations r on the map. You can find them on their website and check things like lighting, facing which direction, and the distance between pools and gates. These are important to me when renting a place so I did all that and found one that we loved. It did not face the pool which could prevent the loud noise during summer weekend from all the parties. It is far from mainstreet so no traffic noise. And it was not far from the entrance so We did not have to drive way too deep into the community. And it was also near the dumpsters. So to sum up, the rooms are fairly new, I loved their crown molding wall so my baby daughter would not make a mess on the wall. They have washer n dryer inside which is another plus. Counter tops were a little scratched but when we raised up that issue, they made a note of it and promised they would not take that out of security deposit, and they did not take out from deposit as promised. Cuz we just got back our refund back. Only a small amount of cleaning the apartment was deducted which we r totally fine with. Other facilities r pretty new and in good condition. Two pools r great, gym is as clean as always. Never been to their club house but it looked awesome from outside. Grills are nice thats why pacted with people cooking their food.4: Staff n maintenance: Friendly and helpful. We alway use their online system to request maintenace. They act fast and resolve problems professionally. Because the apartments are new we never really had big issues, they were all minor problems like the light bulb was out, I had only 1 light bulb out in 2 yrs living there.5: Parking is plenty. We had a detached garage and any unmarked spot is also welcome to use on a first come first serve basis. We had a little scratch for one car during two yrs n we never found out who did that.Things to work on/ recommendation:Parking- other neighbors next to the community might have been taking advantage of the plenty parking space in Ironwood and we noticed that during our stay.Pool policy- We v seen people with glass of alcohol or beer in the pool, thats obviously against their policy.Lastly, we want to say thank you to all the friends at Ironwood. Manger Stenpheny, Pam and other two ladies at the front Who always took care of our package nicely.I want honestly say that nobody from Ironwood has ever requested or asked me to write a review for them.

Absolutely, under no circumstances, should you even consider let alone follow through with renting a unit here. By far the worst decision you could make regarding housing/renting. The reps are impolite and unhelpful and when you move out they will find a way to bill you/take out of your deposit a minimum of $550 regardless of how clean you leave the apartment. CA statues state if you return the apt when you leave in the same condition as you received it, the renting company should not bill you for repairs/cleaning that would have resulted from NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, however they will bill you anyway and find a way to provide an itemized list of BS charges for repairs and cleaning the apt required when you vacated the unit. Also, they charge $200-$400 more per month for comparable and even not as nice units at THE MAJORITY of other complexes in Rancho Cucamonga. The name of the company should be Full of Bullcrap at Empire Lakes. Period. I have to take them to small claims court to get my deposit back since luckily I have 35+ photos reflecting the actual condition I left my apt in. Stinks that I have to go through all of that, but thats what happens when you deal with bullcrap/dont even know the meaning of good customer service renting companies.
