My drain plug needed to be extracted as a result of a issue at a different auto service place. Ricky at precision Tune Auto Care was professional, friendly and kept me informed. I highly recommend bringing your car to this location for any service you need!

This has been my go to mechanic for the last 5 years. I love the fact that they will actually let you provide your own parts. I am particular about the type of oil and brakes I like to use in my car and they have no problem using my parts. I have never had a problem with what I have been charged or the overall quality of the work that has been performed. Fantastic place!

I went in for a oil change and they broke my fuel pressure sensor and said hey did you know this is broken. The funny thing is why didnt they come get me not note it down and still give me an oil change. Soon as you seen something out of place you should have told me. Then they didnt even tell me that they wrote it down on my oil change paper so making it seem like I agree to it that I seen it. This place is a scam dont go to them I wouldnt go to any of there signs! I even called corporate and corporate never called me back Ive called three times. I believe this place is a scam. Dont go I warn you!

My battery was bad and I needed a replacement. I just purchased a battery but could not find anyone to install it unless I’d bought it from their store.It was raining out and getting late but Precision Tune did Install it. I called and they were closing in 10 minutes but told me to come on in and even though they were closed by then, they installed my battery with the greatest professionalism.and waived the cost. They made a new customer. Thank you PT!!!

Oil changes here are always a good value. Check online for coupons, or just ask for the coupon price. I had a synthetic oil change and tire rotation for $52.25, including tax and fees. Thats less than 1/2 of what I last paid a dealer. As with all similar businesses, beware of the upsell. They will commonly offer customers air and cabin filters, brakes, fluid changes, tires, oil pan gaskets, and so on. You can always say no. Staff is pleasant and they have a clean waiting room, which is good, because you may have to wait two hours for service, as I did. Mgmt: How can we minimize wait times? Are you typically slow certain hours?

They stay busy but each location have always given me good customer care and have done quality service on several cars that Ive taken to them!

I don’t know about Precision Tune Auto Care as a franchise, They’ve always struck me as sketchy, but THIS LOCATION is amazing. Cheap prices, fair prices, they don’t lie, cheat, steal, con you out of your money, nothing ! They are truly amazing people. They are experienced with what they’re doing! 100/10 would recommend.

I still stand behind my words to not go here. They lack good customer service. Ronnie is okay but the district manager Vincent does not take you seriously.Never go here as one of the techs forgot to pull oil back in my car and blow the engine while in Greensboro. Luckily, the car was still under warranty. I got the car repaired but Precision Tune district manager acted as if nothing happen and it was not their fault.

Except for the wait, service was excellent. They seem to stay busy. I got there a few minutes after open and there were already 6 people there. they must have opened early because only 2 people left in line. I would have come in earlier if I knew I could. They did forget to use one of my coupons but they let me use all that applied, unlike other places where you can only use one. Great customer service. They seem honest.

I had two different vehicles (SUV + Sedan) aligned here and very happy with the results. Great value and even after several months my vehicles are riding smooth and straight. They do get busy so recommend dropping off your vehicle instead of waiting.

Amazing staff! They are so friendly and helpful.We had an incident the day we were there that they were able to help with so quickly. My bfs car was at Precision Tune for his oil change and inspection while mine was across the street getting new tires at Discount Tire. Got a call from Discount that they couldnt finish because the bolts on one of my tires had seized and would need to be replaced before they could finish. Precision Tune was able to help get my car in quickly and replace the bolts so I could finish my tires. They also did a fantastic job with my bfs car. Theyve earned some new permanent customers!

I have been using this service for the last year and a half on one of my old vehicles I went in on the 12th to have an oil change on the new vehicle I just bought the vehicle in November after the oil change they told me that the lug was stripped so I took the car back to the dealer and they went through the records and showed that no tires have been rotated before I bought the vehicle the car had been inspected therefore the damage was done in that shop and they refused to admiit it, ended up costing me $190 no one has responded back to me in 2 weeks so therefore I decided to protest outside of this shop on 1/30 for the time this business open and close. if it cost me $200 Im going to cost this company more than that .....1st amendment rights.

This place is great!! Great staff from the front desk when you check in to the mechanics who do great quality work and also have great personalitys. Ive had numerous car issues fixed at this location and I still to this date have no complaints. Tell them what you want done and they will fix it. Also they will work with the best they can which always makes a great experience. I truly appreciate their hard work and dedication god bless them all. 🙏

I would have given this negative stars but I had to put a 1 star just to post a review. I called Precision Tune at 4:00pm, asked the guy that answered the phone what time is the cut off for oil changes, the guy on the phone told me 5:00pm is when they close, if I can get there by 5:00. they could change my oil. I told him I was 30 minutes away, and I can be there by 4:30, if I get there at 4:30 could you change the oil in my car, the guy said to me if I get it there at 4:30 they would change my oil. I get there at exactly 4:30, then a woman comes to the counter and I tell her I needed a standard oil change, then tells me that she has asked her tech to finish a job and she cant ask him to stay over. I told her that I was told to be there by 5pm, it is 4:30 and she told me she was so sorry, but she couldnt ask her tech to stay over and do another car. I highly do not commend this place. So, I wasted 31 miles of fuel and an hour of my time and nothing got done. Very disappointed in this as this is no way to conduct business. I told the guy on the phone and the lady at the counter that I was to arrive earlier but our other car we just found out is un drivable, and that is what took me so long to get there. If you tell someone to come up there and you tell them that you live 30 minutes away and they tell you to be there at a certain time, and then you do that and get denied service, that is completely unacceptable. Very displeased, but, its not like they care anyway. Wasted time and gas to do something I was told to do,then when I do it, they deny me service. Negative 5 stars in my opinion.

Get an estimate from some place else before you get work done here. They charge more then the new car dealerships for repairs. I was surprised to see I saved $1200 getting the new car dealership to fix my car vs precision tune.

Service was great...

The cashier was nice. I got there at 3:10 and said I must leave at 4:00. I asked if that was possible before they even started. The cashier asked the female manager and she said they will try their best but it might be really close. Well, I was in my car at 3:58. My 5 yr old daughter had to use the bathroom and I was surprised at the cleanliness. My wife has a DUI interlock on her car and I explicitly stated that I must start the vehicle and I cant afford no mistakes with that request. The mechanic was totally familiar with my scenario and was understanding. I live 30 minutes away and 80% of my oil changes comes from them because of their location in regards to where I work. Highly recommend them I feel like I get treated with respect.

After almost $500 they didnt know what was wrong with my car. Left me back at square one short the funds. The crew has good working mechanical knowledge. If Im paying 80 dollars an hour, I need something more substantial. They dont make the rules there, they just follow them.. I get it. The silver lining is that they will give us veterans a discount. #Neutrality

This was my first time going there today for a oil change. Very respectful and polite. Then, I went back to have my back oil pan fixed and the mechanic fixed what he thought was the problem instead of what we wanted him to fix and now the truck is still leaking but, if he would have fixed the first problem everything would have been fine. Now they want me to spend another $500.00 dollars because the mechanic did not do a simple job.

My first experience was on a busy day. So of course patience is always key. When I dealt with them they took care of me told me some concerns about my car and I was out of there. I returned for some other work on my car and I wasnt left un informed. They were kind and straightforward. However this place CAN get busy. If u do plan to have major work done on ur car, I do advice u bring a charger and a jacket or a back up ride because can get a bit chilly in there while u wait. But the service there was top notch and it much appreciated. And remember patience is key 🔑

Came here for an alignment for my Toyota Sienna. Nevermind that I had to wait 3-1/2 hours in their 3-chair lobby.Precision Tune was offering FREE alignment checks. After all this time the lady manager finally came out and told the specs of my free check. So they went ahead and did WITHOUT my consent.As I drove away I noticed that the pull to the right was even worse!I took back a few days later and the technician said it was fixed. By the way, I dont think any of the technicians are ASE certified, which you really want to ensure the best care for your car !They DID NOT even take it for a test drive. It was the same!I spent nearly 6-hours in total and in the end,, Finally took my car to CarFIx, who are excellent.So I was charge $69.99 for something I was not even asked to perform.I am disputing my charge for which I will eventually be reimbursed.I would tell you to avoid this place like the PLAGUE !!

Went to Precision Tune to get my tires installed and a 4 wheel alignment done. After the car was in the back for 2 hrs or more and the store not busy; they come out saying your all done and took my payment before the fact of telling me that they couldn’t do a four wheel alignment. He said my car doesn’t require a 4 wheel alignment. Also, when I ask for the alignment print out they tell me the printer is out of paper and they would have to do the alignment all over again to get me a print out. I now have two tires that are messed up and I’m out of money for a false alignment. Will never do business here again. This Precision Tune is a rip-off. I called Capital Chevrolet to verify if a 4 wheel alignment can be done on my car (2015 Chevy Cruze) and they verified a four wheel alignment can be done. So, the store manager lied to my face and said it can’t be done! As a result; I now have two bad tires that are only a few weeks old. Who will replace the two brand new tires that are now bad on my car? I will! Just more unnecessary money I don’t have out of my pocket. I will never go there again with the bad service we were dealt. I even called prior to see if they could redo the alignment because the car was pulling to one side. I was told they would have to see and this was only two days after the work had been done. I’m just so disappointed in my service here.

I call this place stating that all I wanted to do was get my power steering checked. The man stated that I could come whenever I was ready, I let him know that I was already on my way. Once I get to the store. I walk up to the desk. And wait. 10 minutes go by and I havent been greeted yet. No one was on the phone. There was only ONE customer waiting who was alseep in the lobby. And still no one has yet to greet me. Another 10 minutes go by. I have children in the car so I walk out. The guy stares me dead in the face and watches me leave. I definitely dont want to bring race into the picture but thats what it felt like to me

When I showed up, I was told there was one car in front of me for an oil change. The car before mine was serviced in less than 20 minutes of me being there. I continued to wait for my car to be brought to the garage. After waiting an additional hour, I went to ask for my keys back and it’s 4 employees talking amongst themselves.I teach, and understand the need for a break. I just wish it would have been communicated that my wait time would be impacted.

This location in general has helped me out so many times and saved me money over the many visits I’ve had. Shout out to Jonny, and Kyle for excellent customer service and honesty and professionalism. There are a couple other guys in there (who’s names slip me) who have been great as well! Excellent staff.

Today my boyfriend and I took our 2017 Lincoln MKZ to get a wheel alignment and wheel balance. Dropped it off around 12:30pm and were told it would be 2 hours. We called again around 3ish to get an update and the lady who picked up told us it that they are just running a bit behind. We called again around 5pm to get another update as no one had contacted us. No one picked up the phone. Called again and someone said they would go check, while we are on hold, the lady who had been helping us all day told us she would go to the back and check. Then someone else picks up and tells us they can’t do the wheel alignment because of the “lane assist” on the vehicle. They inform us we would have to take the vehicle to the dealership. Our vehicle doesn’t even have a lane assist feature on it. They explain that their computer system says our vehicle does have that feature and that’s what they must go by. Again, our vehicle doesn’t have this feature. We have had it for a year and a half...So we asked about the wheel balance we requested. They informed us that after they saw that our vehicle has the “lane assist” feature that they PUT THE VEHICLE BACK IN THE PARKING LOT. By this time it’s almost closing time so clearly there’s no way to even get anything done. So from 12:30pm to almost 6pm closing time, we were waiting for our vehicle. Not only was this a waste of our time but my boyfriend had to get a Lyft to the shop since they did not have our vehicle ready by the time I had to leave for work (at 4pm). We wasted over 5 hours waiting for a service that our vehicle never even received and had to spend money on a Lyft to get to this place to retrieve our vehicle.The only reason why this place is even getting ONE STAR is because of the receptionist Diane who was very kind and apologetic for something that wasn’t even her fault.The least that could have been done is giving your customers an update on their vehicles instead of just placing them back in the parking lot until closing time.

I tow my 2008 Saturn Vue behind my Allegro Bus motorhome so there is an after market auxiliary braking system on the car for added stopping power while being towed. This complicated the repair I thought would be simple. When I went to precision auto tune in Raleigh they did everything they could to find an employee in their network that had worked on a brake system with this additional aftermarket set up but to no avail. Jennifer is the employee I worked with and she was determined to exhaust every potential resource available to her. After an hour of mechanics time and nearly another hour of her research time, there was no charge for the services. They couldn’t fix the car this time but they created a loyal customer forever!

The lady who runs the place does a 10/10 job, the guys over at the cary shop should take notes - never had a bad experience in 3 years in garner. On the other hand if I go to cary I’m not sure if I’ll get service or if my car will be running when they’re done

Waited 1 hour and Double charged for inspection even with receipt.

We went to them for a pre purchase inspection on a vehicle. It came from a dealership they work with but they were honest and upfront about issues with the car and pointed us to a good dealership to check were we ended up purchasing a vehicle (Reliable Cars and Trucks). We’ve come to them with our other vehicle and they’ve always been honest and never pressure you to spend more or fix things that don’t need fixed right now. They’ll tell you up front something needs replaced but has life left for however long. I’m always weary with car shops because of reputations so many have but I’d feel comfortable coming here without my husband knowing they wouldn’t take advantage of my less than great car knowledge. They also won’t let you drive in an unsafe vehicle. Definitely recommend.

For years, I have patronized Precision Tune, because I have always been treated well and received great service for my vehicles. But, when I went to this location, about 3 weeks ago, I was very upset about what occurred. I went there for a diagnostic on a vehicle I was considering purchasing for my daughter. Keep in mind, I have done this before. The diagnostic went fine. It was the final bill that was so upsetting. I was charged for the diagnostic, labor, parts and of course taxes. I asked the cashier what parts was I charged for, with it being only to diagnose any issues with the vehicle. She said, There were no parts put on the vehicles. Thats the added fee we charge to use the bay area. Are you KIDDING me????? The last I checked, an auto mechanic SHOULD supply a space in which to work!! What a RIPOFF!! Very helpful, honest, and friendly. Have had both my cars serviced there and it’s been great. They even helped me out right when they were closing when I had an unexpected issue, and didn’t seem to mind that I was holding them up (even though I felt bad) very nice of them! Totally trust them with both my vehicles!I do notice they are very very busy so I normally drop my cars off for the day. I saw that a lot of people were complaining about the wait time but they are way better than taking to the dealership. Would recommend to people to plan ahead and call them to check the wait times.

Oil change went fine the 2x I have gone. However, 3 months after I came back for 2nd oil change I was told I had all sorts of problems that needed fixing on my car. Almost $1000 worth. Dont believe them at all. Because while I was waiting several other people were told there were high dollar fixes needed.Very apprehensive about companies that offer great deals on oil changes only to tell u that u need all kinds of work.

This place is awesome I first started coming here because of Adam he talked me into a simple oil change and ever since than I have never been back to Nissan I bring both my vehicles here for any work that needs to be done, even tho Adam is gone Jeff started helping me and he always gave me great deals now Jeff is no longer at this location and I get Kyle he is just as awesome as the others. I GAVE THEM ONE MORE CHANCE, AND THEY DROPPED THE BALL AGAIN!Im not going to make this a long, drawn out post.Keeping it real simple.I PAID FOR A FULL SYNTHETIC OIL CHANGE, with everything to be TOPPED OFF.It took over 2 hours.My coolant wasnt topped off. My husband checked a day later, when the coolant light came back on.They turned the coolant light off, but did not top me off.Im not confident the tires were rotated.I stood to watch, discreetly, and never saw the tires being rotated. But, I could have missed that, so I just ate that one.The bathroom was out of service (mind you, I had to wait over 2 hours).My sticker in my car only reads the next mileage to get my oil changed, and not the type of oil that was put in my vehicle.IM DONE WITH THIS PLACE. IVE HAD ISSUES IN THE PAST WITH EACH OF MY VEHICLES IN SOME KIND OF MANNER WITH THIS PLACE.I spoke with John about it over the phone.He asked me to come back in, and he would take a look at things.I chose not to, for fear that they would do something to my vehicle just to validate their assertions.GOSH, Sorry. I didnt intend to make it a long post.Im going to try another Precision Tune.

Ive been going to Precision Tune for years. I stopped at this location while visiting NC and Jeff assisted me. I did not have an appointment or anything. I literally googled and went to the nearest one I could find after a 6 hour drive from Atlanta, GA. Jeff and the other guys were so nice and helpful. They squeezed my car into their busy schedule and got me taken care of. Thank you Jeff and everyone here. If youre in the Raleigh/Garner area, this is the place to go. Theyll take care of you.

2.5 hours for an oil change and state inspection. Ridiculous!

Johnny Shaw is very unprofessional and doesnt help people with there cars. He takes very long working on your car and over charges customer. I would not recommend him and he should be fired and replaced as a mechanic at small pines drive. I wouldnt let him work on your car. He is not a good mechanic likeI thought. Coorporate should look into this review and should give me compensation on work that he promised to do on my truck and never did it. What type of service its that? That is not good for Precision Tune in my book.

I never write reviews but people need to know!! Just like another customer mention on the reviews. They failed my inspection which has never failed.. Was told truck needed new power steering pump that is was leaking and $523 to replace. I had truck looked at by 2 other shops and mechanics to view and they said nothing was wrong. The brake fluid wasnt even low and steering wasnt making any sound like it should if you had a leak! Residue is completely different than a leak!!! I should have read reviews before coming..... Reported to DMV..

The staff was really nice but...i had a break job done and 2 days later they were squealing and scrapping take it back cars fine for a day or two again scrapping took it back up there for the third time breaks were replaced again and guess what a week later squealing i only get one day a week off and have spent those days for two weeks trying to get the breaks right im not going back up there bc i feel like its a waste of my time lesson learned

I went for synthetic oil change. The attendant showed me an air filter that was very dirty and needed to be replaced. I agree and gave the go ahead They failed to advise that they didnt have the item in stock. It took an hour and a half to finally get out after I was initially told the oil change was going to be 30-40 minutes! Next time Ill ask before agreeing to additional services. I was late volunteering for a charity 2 weeks before Christmas!!

The guys are nice and knowledgeable but they are slow as snails. I sat for 3 or more hours and my vehicle still hadnt been pulled in the bay for a job that takes no longer than 30 to 40 minutes. I didnt want to spend my whole day waiting on such a small service. Im sending this post and Im still waiting. Geeesh! People came in after me and leave before me is just not right.

I just got my oil change and tire rotation done here. I was told the wait was 45 minutes. I waited 2 HOURS. The employees were standing around talking to each other. When I finally got in my car my tire pressure light came on (which wasn’t on before arriving at the shop) and a part for my cabin filter was sitting on my dash. After checking my tire pressure it’s clear they removed air instead of putting air in. All 4 of my tires are at 20 when they’re supposed to be at 35. This was my first and LAST time going to Precision tune.

I had went to pep Boys to see why I had an antifreeze leak. Got the part and took it to precision tune to get it installed. Come to find out pep Boys told me the wrong part. These guys here were very nice and told me exactly what I need. Got the part from Chevy dealer and came back here to get it installed and they charge me a good price. I will be coming back here to have work done on my car.

Since the change in management I have found the Garner location to be impersonal and less appealing as I once did. I have been a faithful customer for over 10 years but no longer feel the same quality atmosphere there once was. I always received quality service when Johnny and Travis were in management.

A reasonable establishment with more than just an oil change at an affordable prize. I like the 21 point inspection that supplements the oil change. The wait is a little longer, just because so many people have also discovered this secret.

Went to SUV inspected, was told it failed due to leaking power steering pump and belt. Told them to hold off on repairs and took it to my mechanic where he said that there is nothing wrong with either. Called store and spoke to the manager, told him what my mechanic said and all he said is Im sorry. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Went for an oil change. Advised 1 hour, took almost 3. No reason given, no discount offered. Beyond frustrating. Dont go here!!!

I love this place they are friendly fast service they get your car right I have no complaints they are affordable for the most part for the service I get which is an oil change filter change tire rotation and top my fluids off and check my brakes. I would Definitely recommend precision auto tune to any one.

I needed my brakes and rotors replaced so I brought my old Ford focus here. I brought my own parts which not every shop will let you do. I paid $95 for labor which was very fair. When I came to pick up my car they didnt try and upsell me on a bunch of repairs I did not need which I appreciated. Overall a great experience and I will bring my car back for any other repairs I may need.

I was having ac problems so they checked it out. My compressor was going out so they quoted me a very low price compared to others in raleigh. The staff is very friendly and really helpful. I received the work and the ac came with a 2 year warranty (compressor) . The work quoted was done in a timely manner. I have some other upgrades i want for my mustang and they will be the shop i take it to. Thanks! Knock on wood!

Solid shop. They do what they say, maybe make some suggestions but theyre not out to push you into upsell services. Honestly they won my business just by refraining from trying to push $500 of fluid services on my first visit.

These guys rotate like your tires SHOULD. They are usually young and fast. I would definitely recommend them for an oil change, tires, breaks, inspections and the basic car maintenance package. Unfortunately I would NOT recommend them for anything major or relatively expensive. The turnover, lack of basic knowledge on different types of models, and the juvenile demeanor leads me to the dealership!

This place is terrible, take your car elsewhere. I will be contacting my local better business bureau because their customer service will never call you back.I just went for an oil change and endup needing a wheel cover replacement. Those guys will not take responsibility for their actions and also suggested me an brake fluid flush again, I had that performed on the previous service scheduled. The man also diagnosed an engine oil leak that doesnt even exist. Obviously trying to sell me their service and trying to take advantage of hard working people.

I just bought a used car a few weeks ago and came to these guys to take care of a screeching (brakes) problem. When the job was done I still noticed a scraping and didnt get a chance to bring back until about a week later. That was this morning and they fixed the issue super fast and had me in and out in under an hour.I have been to this location and the one in N. Raleigh and both places have taken really good care of my vehicles. I will continue to come here so long as the service remains good.The staff at both locations has been very friendly as well. I have only been to the one in Garner a few times and they already know me which I highly appreciate.

I went to get oil change and tire rotation yesterday. When I picked my truck up I went outside to look to see if the tires had been rotated. Last time I went here to get oil and tire rotation, the tires were not rotated. However, I noticed after I left. I knew for a fact that they were not rotated because I had purchased 2 new tires and those 2 new tires were in the same location as they were when I dropped my car off. I didnt call or go back because I had already left and I was going to buy 2 more tires soon there after. This time I was prepared to see if the tires would be rotated. So yesterday when I came back into the building to inform the guy at the counter that the tires had not been rotated, he immediately asked me why do I think they have not been rotated? I replied because I know they have not. He checks the ticket and proceeded to go outside into the service area to ask the tech were they rotated. Of course the tech says they were. I, again tell him they had not been rotated. He asks the tech again, and the tech says yes and another tech helped him rotate the tires. The guy at the front counter tells me sarcastically that they can rotate the tires AGAIN, if I would like them too. He never asked how did I know that the tires were not rotated he rather go back in forth with me to argue that they had been. So I finally told him that the brake dust from the front tires are still in the same location AND I put a X (keep in mind the last time I came here they didnt rotate the tires so I was prepared this time around) on the front 2 tires so that I will know for a fact that they had been rotated. After I said that he then walks outside to look at the brake dust that I mentioned and X on tires. After he realizes what I was saying was true he, tells me that they will rotate the tires. Come to find out the tech only rotated 1 side! As simple as rotating tires is why would I lie about it? I dont want to be there any longer than I have to because I had to go back to work so why would I lie about tire rotation to stay any longer than I have to (I was on lunch break). Why is it ok to argue with a customer about a simple tire rotation and not ask questions. I have only come to this location out of convenience and having a coupon for oil change and tire rotation. I will no longer be coming here. Id rather pay more money and be treated with better customer service.

The mechanics here are very trustworthy, they communicate well, and the price for repairs are reasonable.

I was very pleased with this team especially the master technician who is obviously very knowledgeable and efficient. The manager also was very charming and professional. Thank you and keep up the good work!!!

The employees here are super awesome, great auto shop that does good work at good prices. I also dont make an appointment every time and they still get my car in and all done way quicker than where I was going previously with an appointment.

Came in with a broken seatbelt. Id already spent almost an hour with a screwdriver and YouTube trying to figure out what was wrong. The guy looked at it and fixed it in less than 60 seconds. He was polite and smiling the whole time. Left a great impression.

Check your tire valve stem caps before you leave; to see that theyre there, and if they are there, tighten them up. Last time 2 of mine didnt make it back on, and this time, I had to twist all 4 on tight. They were so loose, Im sure they would have come off within 1 mile of driving away. I dont feel good about if other important things were done, if this small matter was overlooked. Leaving unhappy and unsure about my car maintenance....

Roads in Raleigh suck!Given that, I went in with the car pulling to right. There was a damaged strut.Technician carried me out to the car to show me the damaged part.I feel price was fair and the car sure does drive better than before.Ill go back to this shop. Theyve earned my trust.
