I do not recommend this place at all!!! My friend and I felt shocked, scared and disgusted after got our services done at this nails salon. The lady did my pedicure was re-used her gloves, and didn’t sanitize all the tools properly. Before she started with my pedicure, I saw many colors on her gloves, which I assume she used one pair of glove for many customers. I also saw the dead skins and nails on the tools which means she doesn’t sanitize all the tools properly. During the pedicure, she kept begging us to get our eyebrows done, and to the point that we have to accept it and it was the worst decision we ever made. This lady doesn’t knows how to wax because the way she did was so unprofessional. When I asked her “did you really have the license for waxing facial?” She ignored me and walk away which made me believe she doesn’t has it. I already contacted the State Board and NC Health Department. Hope they can check on this salon soon.
This place is probably the worse nail salon in the world. I promise you the guy who did my nails was drunk, his technique is terrible and he can’t paint nails to save his life. My attempted pedicure was rushed, nails all different sizes. She attempted to scrub my feet with NO PRODUCT. After requesting a different technician, everyone acted as if they didn’t see me sitting there. The manager didn’t send anyone to finish my pedicure, I ended up leaving. This place is awful. Stay away from it!
I sooooo wish there was a way to give negative or no stars! I guess it can get one for good customer service. The lady who did my nails couldn’t speak English very well (which isn’t the problem). I appreciate her effort to try to communicate during the process. She was friendly in that aspect. However…that was probably about the nicest thing I could say about this place!! READ these reviews y’all and DON’T waste your time with this place. She rushed threw the process the entire time. I was LITERALLY the only person in there at the time. She ended up cutting my hands during the cuticle clipping. I asked for a design. She was rushing so bad that she couldn’t even do it. My nail was already painted…so I was girrlllll just do some polka dots. That should be easy right??? She rushed that too and managed to mess that up as well. I did have her redo it once more. Finally I was like.. I’m readty to go. I ain’t even care anymore. My fingers were burning and nails weren’t what I wanted. Ohhhhhhhh and I asked for a pedicure.. got nail polish slapped on my toes WITHOUT a top coat. HORRIFIC experience!!! Do NOT waste your money or time on this place.
I have always gone to tips to toes to see my favorite nail artist Vina. She is the absolute best and always does my nails from every day wear to special occasion nails.
The pedicure itself was fine, a bit rushed. The chairs were nice. They tried to overcharge me by $60 because theyre bad at math. Fought me back and forth over what 60+60 equalled and tried to force me into getting gel because it would dry quicker at $20 more when I didnt want gel. Then tried to say I got gel anyways when I definitely didnt. The two ladies doing our pedicures laughed at my husband for asking for color on his toes, bullied him into saying he was joking, and he left without polish because of their insecurities about whether men should be allowed to have nice colored toes. I was appalled that the FIVE times I mentioned that he wanted color they laughed at me. He mentioned it twice before saying he was kidding because they just wouldnt stop laughing at him. It was his birthday. Boys like colors too!!!! Not lgbtq friendly.
Vina does an awesome job on my nails. I sm very very picky when it comes to my nails. I will only let her do my nails. She is always on time and takes her time. Vina talks to you and helps you figure out exactly what you want. If she feels she needs to do something alittle different to get what you want she tells you and is not a pushy person. All go to Vina for your nails you will not be disappointed.
Helene was incredible!!I loved my nails and she payed extra attention to my nails went above and beyond for my comfort and satisfaction. It’s clean and everyone’s so friendly I loved my experience 10/10!!
As a first time customer, I was pleased with pedicure service byVina.
I had to walk out there because I wanted an almond shape nails and the nail tech got the audacity to tell me that that shape will look ugly on my hands. I always had almond shape nails since forever. If she doesn’t know how to do it, just say so. I showed her a picture of the nail I want, she didn’t even bother to look at it, she immediately said “we no have that kala(color)” I just couldn’t stand having a nail tech who is full of negativity and can’t listen to my needs. To make matters worst, she was talking to all of her asian people and they all started looking at me. I had no idea what in the heck they were saying. Y’all need to speak English, it’s really unprofessional.
They were very nice and did a great job
Ms Kathy is the best!!! Love her to death!!
Customer service on point my usual nail salon was booked so came here my nail tech was amazing and attentive my face wax tech amazing good prices go see them thank you to the people who are making us feel good about ourselves
I took my two daughters here for a pedicures, it was a horrible experience. The water was cold, they didn’t scrub, massage, or soak our feet. They talked in their language and never interacted with us at all. We wasn’t even there 30 minutes and they charged me $150. Would never go back here.
I purchased a gift certificate for my wife on her birthday about 9 months ago. She used half of the amount about a week after her birthday. Fast forward to today, she went to get a manicure/pedicure and use the rest of the gift certificate. They tell her she cant use it because its expired, and that they have an expiration, which not only annoyed her, but really drove me nuts because they said it expires 6 months after purchase. That cant be legal. Federal law states that gift certificates cannot expire within 5 years, but you can be charged a maintenance fee if its inactive for 12 months. I really feel that they put that it expires in 6 months (even though they legally cannot enforce this) because they will try to take your money without having to perform any services. I do NOT recommend going here and will make sure everyone I know avoids this place.
I went in for a gel fill-in. I called prior to ask about price, and they told me $40. My nails were sloppy, lots of excess polish all over my fingers that the tech (Don) said would come off eventually over the next couple of days. Then, I went to pay and he charged me $50. I asked why it was $50, and he said because he had to replace a nail. 1 nail! He replaced one nail and charged me $10 extra. I will not be going back to this place.I posted a picture under the photos tab. The sloppy white nails.Reply to response: I had my nails done here about 3 weeks ago. It was Don. I asked why he charged me $50, he said bc he had to replace a nail. If certain shapes are extra, that should be disclosed when done. I had my nails square shape, i have never been charged for that, thats crazy.I will not be coming back.
BEWARE: So on May 29, 2020 I went for a pedicure. The next day I noticed my toes began to swell. That evening they began to feel like pins and needles. A few days later my cuticles began to fill with fluid. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with Paronychia an infection caused by the pedicure. My doctor suggested I don’t go back there. I immediately called Tip 2 Toes and they were apologizing. Asked me to come so they could see. I obliged. After I left I was called back so they could take pictures. I obliged. Mind you I live 30 minutes away. I also wasn’t able to go to work because I’m an armed officer and wear boots. Well my toes were swollen and hurt so bad I couldn’t even put a sock on. They said they would compensate and asked for all my documents. Once again I obliged. Mind you wanting me to bring it in person when all my documents are electronically filed. I asked for an email and the owners name and never got that. So to top it off once everything was handed in all of a sudden the lady doesn’t want to get involved when she was the person I gave my documents too. She said the owners insurance would contact me ASAP. It is now June 25th no call, text or email. The least thing Tip 2 Toes could have done was take accountability. I suffered enough and they didn’t have a problem taking my $142. But that’s why we have a legal system.
Ive been to many horrible nail salons. But this one definitely takes the crown for the lowest quality and unprofessional staff ever. The 3 stars should have been enough warning for me. I hope it is for everyone else.
Worse place Ive ever been to. The staff is lazy and rude at the same time. No manager insight. A total ripoff. Any nail salon is an upgrade compared to this one
Visiting from m Dallas and. Wanted to take mail tech back home with me!!!! Professional and friendly. Great service. 🥰🥰
Bad experience- I paid for the lavender treatment $40 and they finished in 15 minutes. Not recommending this place.
Had to wait a little bit which is normal for nail salons but my experience was great. Complimentary drink, had the lavender pedicure. The technician was efficient and friendly. Would have liked a deeper massage but that’s just my preference. Not sure why they have such negative reviews but my experience was absolutely pleasant.
I have been going here for almost two years now and I love this nail salon..the setup is so relaxing and nice. Everyone is very friendly and do beautiful work. My personal technician is Lisa and she is the BEST!!! She’s the only one I always request and I love how she takes her time to make my nails beautiful.
Probably the best pedicure I’ve ever had. VERY accommodating and hospitable!! The salon was clean and has very light and airy vibes to it. So relaxing and a great experience. My technician was Hannah and was a DOLL. Highly recommend!!
Nice salon but they act like they are all in need of money. If you do not tip what they think is enough it becomes gossip! Instead of being grateful of getting a tip. Its two in their that does amazing nails but not worth my trip so I am in search of a new salon.
My first and last visit here. Came in for a pedicure but they charge extra just to remove dead skin or scrub your feet!! Never have I been to a nail salon to get a pedicure and they charge extra for what should already be included?!? There was no wonderful leg or foot massage, nothing added to my foot bath (just water), then when I didnt leave a tip, she took the receipt over to show another technician and it became nail shop gossip. Polish is still on my cuticle and around my toes, I guess I will get that off on my own at home. Very disappointed and felt very offended. Never again will I spend my money here. No thanks.
I love this place I went in and my regular nail polish chipped of the next day and I came back in and they gave me a free gel manicure and it’s beautiful
Very good!
I finally found one that fits me. Love love it here. The ladies are all so sweet. And gave me such a relaxing treatment. Overall, great customer service! I (heart) this place. This is my new favorite place!
I have been coming to this facility every 2 weeks since November 2015. They are extremely professional and friendly. Cody is the BEST! I always leave with perfect nails and I have started to call and make appointments with him. They just renovated the store as well, so everything looks brand new. Keep it up guys!
They have a great variety of gel colors and regular paint colors. The shop is always very clean when I go. T (or Ti?) is a fantastic nail tech......I have been going to her for years. Everyone there is super friendly and Ive only ever seen them do top quality work. Pricing is reasonable.
They did an outstanding job on making my nails look so lovely! The salon is well kept, organized, and clean.Absolutely amazing staff!!They took their time with each service it made me feel completely relaxed! Will definitely come back again.
This salon was recommended to me by a friend who spoke highly of them. I went in the weekend before and made an appointment for a Friday after work. The woman that did my nails was not friendly and she charged me $50 for gel nails. As she was doing my nails I noticed that one of the nails did not set properly and when I mentioned it she said that my nails were dry and that’s why that one nail looked that way. I asked her to remove the polish and re-do that nail because I was not going to pay for a job poorly done. She got upset rolled her eyes at me and fixed the nail. My nails started peeling and breaking 4 days after I got them done. The place is need of new management and staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
I walked in just 45 min before close and they were amazing. I thought I only had time for a normal pedicure but they did a cucumber spa treatment, pedicure, and manicure and I was out just after closing!! Everything felt so amazing and the polish on my toes looks great (didnt get polish on my nails). Plus complimentary moscato didnt hurt.
PLENTY OF BETTER OPTIONS IN THE AREA. Its my fault for frequenting this place so often. I absolutely wont be returning. By far the worst customer experience skills of any business Ive been to. I left a jacket at this location last Wednesday. I called back several days later to ask if they had seen a jacket, and the response was Oh, the black jacket, its no longer here. Great guess I suppose? I never told them anything about the jacket. When I asked if I could view security footage, they said yes. I showed up no less than 30 minutes later and the manager indicated the cameras were not working. This manager then started to berate me in front of all the customers when I asked how they couldnt be working when I was just told to stop by. His response was Its not like its a $10,000 jacket. Its only a $300 jacket (how he knew the price on this anonymous jacket is perplexing), so whats the big deal? A calm response would have been welcomed, but to have someone yell at you for simply asking a question is unacceptable. Also, in what business is it acceptable to treat customers this way? This business will no doubt lose far more money in lost business than the $300 I lost on this jacket. Additionally, I hope that ALL of this businesss paperwork is in order based on my next courses of action.
I came in to get a pedicure. Water was ran and I was asked to take a seat. By the time someone finally got to me, the water was cold and I had to ask if someone was coming to take care of my pedicure.Note: Pay attention to your customers and keep them informed as to what’s going so they don’t have to ask — after all you are running a business.
Vina did my nails today and she did an awesome job! She took time to make sure that my paint and nail shape was flawless. I truly appreciate it when I go to a busy nail salon (which this one usually is) and get great service and don’t feel like the tech is rushing.
After searching on Google for a nail salon near my house, I finally decided to give this place a try. They did an amazing job with the gel on my nails and was pleased with the result. The ambiance here is perfectly clean. It was so nice to be pampered by women that seemed to be loving life.
I have been coming here for more than 2 years. I drive from Henderson and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Lisa is terrific! I always get personal treatment and never feel rushed. The new remodel is awesome! It’s a very clean, pleasant and relaxing place to come.
This used to be one of my favorite nail salons but I havent been in a few years since I no longer work close by. I was very diaappointed after taking my two daughters there today for a pedicure. They have expanded the space, raised prices, and did a poor job on all three of us. You get a complimentary beverage but dont be fooled...they charge an extra $6 for callus removal! I have never had a pedicure that didnt include this service. Guess they have to recoup their money for expanding and providing beverages. One of my daughters big toes was bleeding around the nail when we left, all of our feet still feel rough in spots, and I have dead skin and ALOT of polish around my toes. I could have done a better job myself. By far the worst pedicure EVER! This is the first time I have written a review for any place of business...take my advice and GO ELSEWHERE!!
This is not normally my nail tech place but I went on a whim.... After two days of getting a gel manicure 4 of my nails started cracking and chipping. I called immediately and explained the situation and they offered to fix it for me which was nice but even the fix was sloppy and now days later the rest of my nails have either completely cracked or chipped. I will definitely not be coming back or referring anyone here.
I have visited this place numerous times over the years hoping they will get their act together. Needless to say I give up! With manicures they dont listen, always trim the culticles too short to break blood and my recent breaking point was when the technician took multiple personal phone calls during my service. The waxing is hit or miss. Ive had them drop hot wax on an eye lid which hurts like heck to remove and some are just too aggressiveIt does not matter how many improvements they make, the substandard service is always the same! They need to remember they are in a very competitive market and location as many salons are nearby!!If the owner reads this and I hope you do!! Listen to your customers, get off your phones and please have conversations with your clients and not each other; it is very rude and unprofessional especially when speaking in a different language.
Clean & nice but pricing is crazy. I asked for basic pedicure, got the $6 upcharge to scrub calluses and ended up paying same price as upgraded pedicure which included additional pampering. Wish that had been explained upfront.Had just gotten manicure at a different place a few days before but couldnt find polish here to match my hands so picked a different color I liked for the toes and then asked for polish change for hands...I was told $25!!! Just for a polish change? No manicure or anything else needed. I was very clear my hands had just been done 2 days ago & all I wanted was to change the polish to match my toes. I feel somewhat overcharged for pedicure, but $25 for just a polish change is totally crazy. Ill just have to deal with the color mismatch until next time.
This is a nice salon in Brier Creek. The staff are pleasant, but hard to understand as most of them speak very little English. But the pedicures I have had there are very good, and you can have a glass of wine!
Clean establishment. Great staff. Fast service
Excellent technicians. Safety protocols followed.
I do not recommend this place whatsoever. The woman who did my nails kept trying to force me to do liquid gel and when I insisted thats not what I wanted she stopped talking to me completely. Not only that but I now have a lovely infection on my middle finger because apparently they dont sterilize their equipment.
Customer service is great and they do a great job taking care of you whatever you need. Great experience. Feeling great after a long day. Stress gone.
Ask for Katie when you visit here! She is the best! Listens to your needs, does a fabulous job. I’ve been coming here for years and love her!
Friendly staff and they normally do a good job. I’ve noticed they do not use sterilization for their instruments.
Khanh is The Best Ever!!! Everybody ask for khanh! I do not go to anybody else, paying anyone else is a waste of my money!!! So meticulous and professional and friendly. The new store looks very nice. Much better after they finished the repairs. Still think the owners need to pay more attention to details like the bathrooms and towels. Because the store atmosphere is not reflected in the cheep looking towels or bathrooms. To have a classy store that attracts and maintains a loyal customer base you need great quality staff and notice small details. Also they need to have heated mittens for the manicures because my cuticles are very tough and grow too fast. The soaking does not work for everybody and now they do not allow mittens. Besides the missing mittens and little things, I still love the staff so I keep coming!
Im so happy with my experience here.. the people who did my nails all understood exactly what I wanted and did a very excellent job! They all took their time and didnt rushMy nails couldnt have looked any better
The lady cut me 3 times, and made me bleed. They didn’t make me aware it was going to be 10 dollars to take my SNS off. I got gel paint and it was still all on my skin. When we were asked to pay because I was tired of being cut for the lady kept trying to fix her mistakes, I asked if I could get a discount and he said he had no power and that there was no manager at the store. He also added and I wasn’t the one to cut you. I highly recommend not going there, there are plenty of good nail places in the area that aren’t going to continue to make you bleed before and after doing your nails. I now have to go home and put ointment on my hands from all the cuts. I was so upset when leaving and the people were so rude and not accommodating!!!!
Not happy at all..20 fill inDaughter already had gel polish, we were switching to regular5.00 more to file off polish ???But dont you have to file nails to provide a fill inOr you can get gel again for 20 plus 10 for gel polish..I agree never been anywhere where they nickel and dime for everything...Then when I go to pay...are you paying for just your daughter? Well who else should I be paying for?
I usually bring my daughter in the tow and get a pedi set. Theyre always so kind and personable. Its calming place and clean. I will definitely recommend this place to my coworkers!
UPDATE: THE SALON HAD THE AUDACITY TO REPLY TO MY REVIEW WITH COMPLETE LIES! DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS SHAM OF A BUSINESSDuring my pedicure the tech cut the side of my foot so deeply that blood was running down so she quickly dunked my foot in the water. When it didnt stop bleeding, she poured alcohol onto the cut and slapped on a band aid (which also had to be replaced). Needless to say, there was no continuing the services for that foot aside from polishing the nails...and the salon had the nerve to only offer a $3 discount, which is less than 10% of the service! Reading the reviews after my recent experience here, I would have never gone back this time and will never go back again. One month later and I still have a scab from the wound trying to heal, pretty sure I left with an infection as well. AVOID THIS SALON!!!
This was my first visit for a manicure. My technician didnt rush my manicure and made sure she didnt miss anything. The prices are completely worth it. I recommend 100% if you live near by this gem!
In all the years Ive been doing my nails, this place has been consistently good. My technician was friendly and concerned about my experience at the salon. Absolutely love this place.
My heel was cut when shaved, but other than that it was fine, but a little pricey.
My mom and I went here on Mothers Day and we left a $10 tip for two pedicures- both were $28. As I was in the restroom, the woman who did my mothers feet runs up to her and says that she owes $5 tip... my mom didnt have any cash and offered to put another $5 tip on her own card. When I met her outside, I was completely shocked! They didnt massage my legs, my mom didnt even get a polish and I left a 20% tip for them BOTH and yet STILL this lady comes and demands that my mother give her more money...and on Mothers Day! The day that Im supposed to treat her and make her feel special. I am appalled. I have never in my life had someone demand a tip from me, much less after I had already left an acceptable amount. Ill never go again and I will tell everyone I know what transpired on this day. Also, last time I took my mom here, a woman kept pushing her aggressively to get a more costly service. She was trying to up sell my mom so hard core and my mom doesnt like to be rude so I had to jump in and tell the woman NO, she wants the basic service.
I used to go here all the time and loved it. Once the new owners took over, I went once and wanted to walk out. It was filthy. I will never go back. Also, look at the response that was left by management to Yolanda. This is NOT how you treat your patrons and shows exactly how much they care for their customers - they dont. There are two other salons in BC that you should go to.
Ive been coming here literally since they opened. All of the good pedicurists have left. I decided to try one last time and was rushed through the pedicure-no longer than 25 minutes (I timed it). I asked for my toenails to be buffed rather than clear polish. Nothing was said about an upcharge until I went to pay. $6 for a 1-2 minute buff????/ I should have been told before. Never again. Very sad since I have such a long history with this place. New management just doesnt care.
DO NOT ENTER! Not even a day passed and my gel polish was chipping. Read all the reviews! I do not recommend.
Me my sister and our mother had a wonderful time we enjoyed our selfs we will be going back soon
Great service. Almost no wait. Great color selection. Would recommend to anyone looking to get their nails done
It was ok. I went in for a nail polish change for my toes. One person started and then she turned me over to another person when she came back from what Im guessing was a break. She was friendly but after leaving I noticed the polish smeared on one my toes that I cleaned up after returning home with my own nail polish remover.
Katie did an Awesome job on my pedicure!!!! Check her out, you will be pleased.
This review is solely based on Katie. I can’t speak for anything else but Katie is on point. And the location is pretty and clean, and they offer wine with your services, which is a nice touch. She’s an efficient perfectionist and caters to your wants/ Expectations. She paints ur nails all the way to the back which is a pet peeve of mine (when they don’t) cuts your cuticles, and makes them perfectly square and just oerfect. If you don’t like something, she changes it no issues. Be as specific as you want and she accommodates, taking it in stride. It’s pricier than I’m used to but in comparison to other locations who cost just as much and don’t offer quality at least I’m beyond happy with my results. If you come here, see Katie. She’ll treat you right and will not only give you an amazing massage - I promise you’ll be happy with your mani/pedi.
Let me first say, my manicurist was nice enough, and my manicure turned out fine. However, this salon seems old and definitely nothing special. All the OPI nail polish they had was old and the bottles were basically empty. The nail polish wall was also not in any type of color order which made it difficult to choose a color. The lotion they use smells VERY strongly of old ladies - I could barely make it home with the windows down. My manicure was fine, but I do not regularly get my nails done so I prefer to go to a nicer salon for the same price. They have several tables and chairs, but drying areas for only 4. The seat cushions were worn down....Just generally a nothing special salon. Not a terrible experience but I probably wont return. I will be trying other salons in this area.
It was okay. Everything is an upsell here so the basic pedicure they offer doesnt include what other salons offer. They do not seem to like it when you say no to additional services. This is my first time trying a new place and Im not sure I would go back. It just wasnt friendly service. I felt like a business transaction with no accomodations.
I will NEVER get my nails done at this location again! I went in for a fill-in and gel polish, and the day after my nails started peeling. I called the shop and was told nothing could be done for me bc of their “three day policy “. Firstly gel nails shouldn’t peel or chip-that is the reason I get the service and pay extra. Secondly, the woman that answered the phone not only was rude she hung up on me when expressing my concern about my nails. Customer service here is not a priority and instead of listening they talk over you and hang up. So over this location- spend your money elsewhere.Lastly I find it funny that I cannot reply to the lies they are telling on me. I never wanted or needed free service from you all. I had just started receiving services from you all. Vina normally does my nails and with this fill in MiMi serviced me. Word of mouth travels fast and customers keep your business thriving. You don’t have to worry about “banning me” I don’t want to come back especially since your on the internet lying . 🤷🏽♀️
OMG what a scam I got sucked into. Came in last Saturday late afternoon for nail gel fill. Just took me 3 minutes to pick out color. Nail technician did the fill and repaired one finger that was broken. Started painting my nails and I could tell she was having problems with the polish. I offered to pick another color but she said she would just put my nails under lamp longer to smooth out the polish. She put on at least 6 coats of this polish and finally said it was working. I wasn’t so sure but she said that if I wasn’t happy to come back and she would fix it at no charge. By Monday the nail polish started to peel off, and by Wednesday the nail that she repaired, and charged me for, broke because The gel was applied so thin, that it literally chipped off. My schedule didn’t allow me to come back to the salon until Friday. The mail technician didn’t remember me being there on Saturday but after I mentioned the difficulty that she was having with the polish she finally acknowledged it. And she tried to fix my nails by putting on the same polish until I told her that it was bad and she confessed that they had problems with that brand and suggested I pick out another brand. I told her that the nail that she fixed was too thin and it broken because she didn’t make it thick enough. So she took off the bad gel polish and put on the different brand. She fixed my broken nail. When I was ready to leave I was shocked that she told me that I owed $23 for the change of polish and $5 for the repair nail for a total of $28. I looked at the repair when I walked out of the salon and it’s just as thin as before so I’m sure it will break again in a few days. Really???? After telling me that she would fix it at no charge I’m out another $28 plus tip. Well at least I know it’s the last $28 that they will get from me. I won’t bother to be back. So if you are very particular about your nails and want them to look good for more than 3 days, keep walking/driving down the road and don’t bother to come to this salon.
One of the worst spa experiences that I’ve ever had! We took my niece for her first pedicure, and they barely massaged her feet. They offered to paint flowers on her fingers and toes but did not inform us of the additional cost. They rushed through our service, even though the place was basically empty and hovered behind us while we made our polish choices. My mother’s toes never dried, and the polish smeared right off hours later. A totally waste of time and money. Never going back 😡
I will never return, bloody toe & lady falsified receipt to give herself a 13.00 tip. Contacted BBB & They never have to worry about me returning. I should have called health department
They did an amazing job. The staff was wonderful
Been searching for a nail salon for a very long time and just LOVE you Tips 2 Toes! The salon is calming and neatly. Tips 2 Toes is my go-to nail salon whenever I am in need for a mani or pedi :)!
Great place
DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT! This place charged me $53 for a unfinished job. The lady added services to my pedicure without telling me it was a upcharge. I asked for the regular spa pedicure plus pariffan which was suppose to be $34 but ended up being $40. They also did not finish my nails. I have white and pink gel. I asked the guy would he able to fill them in and he said yes but come to find out they did not have the pink and white gel and they still charged $13 just for taking the paint off and filing the nail. They are very unprofessional! The lady wanted to charge me $50 for just a fill in and clear polish on my finger nails even though they did not have all of the materials to do the full fill in. I would not recommend this place to anyone and this was my first time there.
I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews, but as a new resident to the brier creek area I couldn’t be happier with the service I received at Tips 2 Toes. Competitively priced pedicure menu with an extremely relaxing environment with wine included!! I will be back soon to get another lavender pedicure!
(Long Post) What a TERRIBLE experience I had. Where to begin... I went on Memorial Day -May 31 around 4 to get my nails done with a full set, a pedicure and my eyebrows waxed. Today is June 4 and TWO of my tips have popped off. 😯 This was my first experience at this salon. They are more pricey than my normal salon but since it was for my birthday present to myself I thought that I would treat myself to a luxury day since I was off work that day. One of my tips popped off before my esthetician could even set my acryllic. Her technique was to hardly use any glue at all and put the glue on top of the tip...¿? Whereas usually they put it under the tip so that it will stay on. She painted on my white tips -there was hardly no paint left in the bottle and it was clearly dry and clumpy. I told her that I wanted a flower on my ring finger. She got aggravated when I wanted the same color (gel) that I new I wanted for my toes -for my accent flower. This made it awkward... She could not do a flower design.....so another lady had to come do it then she refused to take care of me and another lady who had no idea what I was saying had to put my top coat on bc she didnt even do that 😮 this second lady did my pedicure and eyebrows as well. I am NOT a complainer even when I feel like service has been terrible. But I could NOT just let this go. I spent $130 with tip- I still left 25 (20%) bc I used to be a server an thats what I do. It was not about the money for me. This was my birthday present to myself. I am a full time worker and mother and I expected to be taken care of better than I was treated and 2 of my nails popped off before my birthday --- 3 days later. I am furious and I will never go back here not even for them to fix their MISTAKE. I will take my business elsewhere. AVOID AT ALL COSTS OVERPRICED @ LESS QUALITY!
I will not return! The basic pedicure is $28 and there is a $6 up charge to scrub calluses. Ive never been to a salon that doesnt scrub your feet to ensure there is no dead skin. The price does not reflect the services provided.
Service fast and efficient. Bathroom needs cleaning, otherwise the facility appears clean and neat.
Only one complimentary drink great service very persuasive to increase price
I won’t go back. The women talk badly about you in their own language thinking you don’t know what they are saying. This is twice this has happened.
I had great experience, Ill be back. The pedicure was great and they spent time of my nails and callouses.
I love the way Mi Mi does my nails. She is the best!
Horrible experience at this salon twice! I thought the first time may have been a fluke so I went back. I had to remind the technician to get sanitized tools and not use the ones in his pocket... That is completely unacceptable! The water bowl used to soak cuticals was dirty. I really hope they get a new sanitation rating posted because this nail salon was dirty.
Rude, be careful of their pricing. Never go there again.
Nice clean atmosphere and good service
Very nice and friendly they offer you a drink including wine .Im handicap and they were very sweet love this place.
This spa is awesome. Great service all around. I will be going back.
The staff here are NOT nice to black customers from my personal experience and observation. I have been going to Tips to Toes on and off for the past three years. I enjoyed Tips to Toes service while Trina was there, but once she left, this place went down. The owner was really rude to me because I did not like the color and asked to change it. Mind you I have been coming here for awhile, and I tip. I have been back to Tips to Toes maybe three times in the past year. I notice that they greet white customers with smiling faces and cater to them, but when a Black customer walks in its What you want? No smiling faces or greetings. They are constantly talking in their language which is so rude; its like whispering. Sometimes they will talk in their language and then look at you and laugh. This is from my personal experience and observation. They also do not paint your nail down to the quick. They do this because you will need a fill in quicker. I just got my nails done here three or four days ago and it already looks like I need a fill-in. I usually go to Valencia nails where Trina owns the store. This is off of Strickland road near Six Forks. They always greet me and they are kind. I was in the Brier Creek area and was too lazy to drive down to Six Forks because it was raining, so I settled for Tips to Toes. Never again. This place is awful, and from my personal experience and observation, they treat their white customers better. I will never go to Tips and Toes again.
Great place for relaxation and beautiful mani pedi.
Went and had a pedicure last Sunday, paid $49 (which I think is outrageous for someone to paint your toes) by Wednesday 3 toes had no polish on them......seriously the polish didnt even last 4 days. The entire time I was there I was completely uncomfortable, the manicurists were talking trash about others in the salon, and the kicker the ladies were mad I didnt tip in cash- they should consider themselves lucky I tipped at all. Wont be going back.
I had a bad experience the first time I went to this nail salon, but chalked it up to the manicurist having a bad day. So, since this is close to my office and on my way home, i thought I would give it another shot. Well, there will be no going back after my second experience. I arrived about a half hour before the store closes. I asked for a manicure with gel polish. This should be doable in a half hour. I was one of only three clients in the store and there were at least 5 people working. The manicurist complained the entire time she was doing my nails commenting on how she was ready to go home. She refused to do a full manicure saying she didnt have time, but she told me this after she had my polish off, otherwise I would have waited. She then proceeded to give me a manicure that my child would have executed better all the while butchering my nails and cuticles as she removed the original polish. Needless to say she didnt get a tip. There was not a manager available at the time for me to share my feedback with, so I tried calling the next day and was basically told the manager didnt have time for me. I will do my nails myself before I go back to Tips2Toes
First off, let me start by saying I have never left a Google review. My experience at this nail salon has been awful. My first visit was February 13th. I went in for a full liquid gel set and a gel pedicure with hot stones. I was treating myself for Valentine’s Day. The service was wonderful. Mimi did an exceptional job on my nails. However, Ann did terrible on my toes. My total for this experience was around $150.I returned today, February 22nd, to get the polish changed on my toes only. However, I decided to get a fill-in to match as well. I was not aware of their 2-Day policy on returning if polish chips or peels and Ann has no remorse. Gel polish change is normally $20. Ann charged me $35. With my fill in, my total was $90!Out of spite because I requested Mimi, Ann upcharged my services and Mimi responded in shock as if it was not normal. This salon does not own up to the mistakes that they make. If you do happen to give this salon a chance, avoid Ann at all costs. She’s lazy and all she does is sit on her buttocks and dictate. She did not make me feel relaxed and comfortable at all! Once I left tonight, I told Mimi I will no longer be giving her my services due to this experience. She looked sad. However, these are the repercussions nail techs reap when the customer service is not exceptional.March 1, 2019 - If there was an accurate price list, customers would not have to question the price of the service. Again, this is just a warning to those who may overlook the terrible reviews as I did. Go somewhere else. Also, if they blame the chipping of gel on the actual color choice, this is not true. Mi Mi explained to me that this was not true. It depends on the quality of work. Please do not respond to me. Thank you.
