Cherry and Rose know how to take care of a lady. They are so kind and lovely, I can bring them anything and they happily give me what I ask for. They are so easy to talk to! They want their customers to be happy so tell them what they like. They want you to leave excited about your look and feeling gorgeous!

I’m begging you, for the love of God, PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE. I came for some acrylic nails for my wedding and I almost cancelled my whole wedding cause of how the nails turned out. They are professional but the ladies don’t know how to do some nails. They will turn out ugly and it’s just a waste of your money

Equipment is dated to say the least. Technician had on what looked to be yellow dish washing gloves and a dirty smock, not using new scrub pads for pedicure and I’m not sure that the items were sterilized before use. Had to tell her NOT to drill off the gel from my natural nails. Soaked my hands in a very small cup of acetone and continued to use the drill. Felt the need to come home and soak my feet afterwards. Needless to say I will NOT return..And to add to this review I woke up this morning to a chemical burn on the top of my foot. When calling the owner she suggested putting lotion on it. BEWARE!

I only went to this location twice. The first time the young lady who did my nails clearly didn’t know the difference between square shaped and a coffin shaped. After telling her that my nails weren’t square she insisted they were and by the time she was done she then realized they weren’t, but the kicker, she would have to remove the nails and she was going to charge me for it EVEN THOUGH IT WAS HER FAULT. I kept the shape thinking maybe I’ll just try something different. Then after 2 days my gel polish was chipping. I just took them off. Next incident I took my young daughters in to get just a polish. Ages 6 and 8. Please tell me how that adds up to be $30?? I didn’t want to cause a scene in front of my children and they were happen so I just paid, but I still let them know that they were cheating me and whoever else out of money. And their nails weren’t painted neatly, it’s like the lady rushed. Yes they are children, but they are paying customers as well. Then another lady was in there pressuring me to buy their masks! I found another salon down the street very professional, knew what a square shaped looked like, prices very reasonable and they made sure my girls and I had the best experience. Do better City Nails.

Omg the other two reviews were spot on! I got full set gel horrible! Too thick and paint chips. Charged my daughter $35 for painted toes and nails the paint already chipped off! Overcharged and i tipped them . I will never return there !!!

I have been going to City Nails since I relocated to Raleigh 4 years ago. They do a fabulous job and have an wide and amazing collection of polish, especially gel. Its always neat and clean. I think their prices are very reasonable. But more than anything are the ladies that work there. They are so welcoming I always look forward to my visits!

They will cheat you for money !!Got a full set no gel for 40$ when their price list says 30. Charged 10$ extra for “long nails”Pedicures say 25$ on the board. Was charged 40 for a 5 minute pedicure because it was so called “ Deluxe “ that my bf asked for but really didn’t ask for. They also were bothering me to buy their fake designer face masks. 1/10 wouldn’t recommend. Save ur money luv ❤️

I just got my nails done and after day two the gel polished started chipping. This is the second time it happened. The girl claimed the polished was new and other salons I go to I don’t have this issue . She basically argued me down the whole time my time nail was being repaired. I will not be going back . Pay all this money for a poor job of work . She was very rude and unprofessional .

They always give great service in my honest opinion I have been going to this nail salon for the past six months and unfortunately I do not know the young ladys name who does my nails but I go to her every time. She sits to the left in the second chair as soon as you enter the door shes fabulous always satisfies my request.

Literally the most amazing women. They are so amazing I even brought my baby and my husband! My husband got a pedicure and loved it. I got acrylic gel nails and a pedi. They are fantastic! Seriously the best! That’s my new spot!

Ive been going here for 2 years now and Im pleased with the service I receive during every visit. Its the most quiet, relaxed, and affordable nail salon Ive been to in years and not once have my nails ever broken in between the 2-3 weeks of each visit. Im fairly basic when it comes to getting my nails and toes done and have only had manicures, fills, and the standard pedicure.

Friendly owners and staff, ready to serve and help. Whatever you need this is the place. Whatever the need at home every time I have visited my needs are met for the home.

I’ve never been until today to have my powder dip nails removed and normal polish put on. She RIPPED the nails off by cutting the edge of the nail off and prying a fake nail under it. She then asked if I wanted a cut, which now that my real nails were ripped.. I had to. My nails are now thin and brittle. I should’ve spoken up sooner.

Yesterday was my very first time visiting City Nails and this is by far THE BEST nail salon I have ever been to. I dont know the young ladies name who did my nails but she was really sweet and very thorough. I will definitely be going back.

The people were nice but the quality of work not the best. There was polish left on much of the surrounding skin and my nails were not trimmed or shaped evenly.

WORST PEDICURE EVER! I won’t blame the entire establishment but one employee could not get my pedicure right to save her life! She couldn’t get the shape right nor the polish! I’m not satisfied nor will I be giving them my business ever again!

If u go here I suggest picking one of the younger women to work on your nails. If u dont go there often they will send you to the old lady and the nail outcome is never good. I got gel nails and it looked okay in the shop but once I stepped out into the sunlight I wanted to CRY!!! they were splotchy, air bubbles, not painted correctly ( I could see where she missed spots doing the second coat of paint), and polish on my skin around the nail. I was soooo disappointed, but I blame myself for cheating on my normal nail girl being inpatient. long story short I think its about time for the older lady to RETIRE. Two of my nails chipped within hours. I didnt do anything but sit in meetings all afternoon. I did not do anything physical to ruin my manicure. I do not believe they have the experience to be charging $30 for gel manicures. I feel ripped off and I would definitely not recommend this business.

My first and last visit. I came for a pedicure and a manicure with gel polish. After selecting my color choice Rose informed me that the color was too light for my dark skin. She stated it wouldnt look right and proceeded to show me darker variations of pink. I informed her that I can wear any color I choose and I wanted the light pink which will look just fine with my skin complexion. Strike one! The only reason I didnt leave was because a coworker had referred me and she has a pretty good relationship with the shop. Upon getting my manicure I noticed that there was a string probably from one of the towels that they use that was painted into my nail. After I brought it to her attention she said oh so sorry theres nothing we can do the gel has already dried. I told her this looks horrible and it needs to be fixed Im not paying for a messed up manicure. I even told her that perhaps we can paint over it to see if that would help which she did do but unfortunately it was no use. The string was still very visible. She told me that its going to be so much work to fix the nail and there was nothing I could do. Mind you I am paying for a service and this is my first time coming there. I told her that she needed to drill it off which she then became quite irritated as she again stated that this was going to be too much work. It took maybe all of 30 seconds for her to drill off the gel, and maybe 3 minutes to repaint the nail. The entire time that she repaired the mail she made sure to reference that this is why she doesnt like painting light colors and my nailbeds were too dark for such a light color. She kept saying that you picked the wrong color and sucking her teeth. Even after I had my pedicure she apologized for my nails and said Im sorry you pick the wrong color. My coworker is the only reason I didnt lose my cool in the store. Rose is extremely ignorant, and unprofessional. Mind you the manicure was subpar at best. I can see the brushstrokes in the nail, it was very uneven and it looks like I did it myself. Spare yourself the headache.

Never again in my life.Went there, got a full set. TWO days later both my thumbs fell off. And my nails were uneven, my best friend went with me and she had to go to a whole other place to get hers redone and I guess ima go to since both my thumbs came off two days later and some are loose already smh Don’t go 🚮

Soooo i hadnt been here in years....but since its just a quick skip from my job, i gave another pedicure a try...i even paid for gel pedi and made it deluxe....the fact that there was no lotion massage. I mean she put lotion on, messed for about 10 seconds and rinsed it off. I honestly didnt question it then because i didnt think that was the end...until she brought my shoes up to get ready for color. I asked and she said she had done the lotion and massage. I expressed all she did was rub it on and rinsed it off. I really needed that part of relaxation. Nothing mattered, nothing changed....needless to say....DISAPPOINTING SERVICE FOR $50

Horrible service! I received gel a week ago and its chipping badly! I went to school for nails and the young woman who did my mani pedi made every single one of my nails uneven. She didnt push back my cuticle. She filed my nails crooked so the ends look all sideways instead of straight. She bubbled the gel on 2 finger nails. I payed an extra 5$ for an upgrade on my pedi and she brought out a blue tub she stuck the dirty used gloves in then proceeded to rub it on my legs and feet. I now have 2 ingrown toe nails from her cut job and the gel is stuck to my cuticle on both my hands and feet. Do yourself a favor and dont go here.

Def the worst manicure I have ever had. I took my niece out to get our nails done. I had 4 SNS (powder dipped) nails that needed to be removed before hand. I asked if they knew how to remove them... Obviously not.... So first she just tried to rip them off... And i wouldnt let her, then she started to soak them in a bowl of acitone... I made a comment saying that usually when I get it removed they will soak a cotton ball in acitone and wrap that around my finger with tin foil and let it sit. She said I know, but that would take too long,.... Ummm seriously, why dont you want to take time on my nails?... So she just proceeds to try and scrape them off....20 minutes later she finally gets the nails off, she says you want a manicure too right? I say yes, and she soaks my hand for maybe a minute, and puts lotion on each hand and rubs my arms up and down twice and tells me to go wash my hands.that was apparently my manicure..a whole 5 min... At least she cut my cuticles down.... Honestly it was just one thing after another. Finally she finished my nails with gel polish and their all dried lumpy and at the tops of my nails its almost weirdly sharp, I wanted to ask for a nail file when she was finished so I could do it myself. My skin on my hands are so dry and almost cracking, and I have been picking off clear glue like substance off my hands.Oh also, my neice got acrylic nails and it was $25.... Mine was $36!!!!! I am not one to cause a scene, actually this is the first review online I have ever made. Hope this helps you decide to NEVER come here.Ps. I did end up asking them to file my nails that dried weird at the tips and they told me it was like that because my nails are short and handed me a nail file and I did it MYSELF! While I waited for them to finish my neices nails.

Horrible got changed for something I didnt want, and was treated as if I was trying to skip out. In fact the services I wanted cost more than want I was being charged. However the whole situation would have been avoided If they would listen to what you want instead of just agree to everything for the sake of money. Needless to say the services suck HUGE waste of money would not recommend.

Awful salon! I got my nails done and realized how awful they were after I left so I came back for them to fix them and then the lady was rude on top of not even making my nails look any better. My nails are not even filed straight across. So I asked for my money back and the lady literally yelled at me. If I could give them 0 stars I would.
