The manicure service at this place is pretty basic. I arrived at my appointment time and had to share the technician with other client because the other technicians werent there yet. This place doesnt care about giving their best, as one can see in the picture, the nail polish doesnt cover all my nail, and the second layer of it its uneven. Last but not least, they use the same file for more than one client, I didnt like that. I dont reccomend this establishment to anyone.

Quiet, clean business. Muted tv on HGTV and current music playing quietly . Excellent job cleaning up old nail injuries. Go before 4 pm as preferred by most salons

It was written 35$ on their website and I was charged 45!A horror... the color of the nails were not even dry everything comes off after a few hours its catastrophic I need to go redo my nails! Please learn to put a thin layer of color and not a big pile or it wont dry!To flee!!!

I walked in and got a gel manicure, I had my small dog with me and they had no problem with her being there with me(she stayed in my lap the whole time and was very well behaved) . The price was decent and the guy that did my nails was very nice . I would recommend! Definitely coming back again!

Friendly, welcoming people, and nice environment, but don’t think they really knew too much about the style that I wanted. I say this because least three of them came and flocked around the tech that was doing my nails. I wanted a simple French manicure with rhinestones down the middle. You would think that I was speaking French, the way they acted. I was forced to be satisfied with the mediocre job that she did, because I was pressed for time, and had to be at a special event, but I did not let her know that, nor did I rush her. The total was $48.00, which I paid and went on my way. The pictures don’t really do much in the way of showing you what my nails actually look like in person. I would not recommend this nail shop for anything other than a basic manicure and polish.

Every time I go to oberlin they do such a good job!! Everyone is so nice and friendly and its such a great experience! Even as my nails grow out they look amazing. Thank you Oberlin Nail Spa for making my nail dreams come true

Absolutely loved my experience here. Went to another salon about 3wks ago where the service was lacking and the nails started falling off cracking within in days.Came here nails looking a hot mess and they got right to them. They were extra gentle when I mentioned that two had cracks to the actual nail, also fixed them before doing the new set.They were very helpful in picking my color and patient as I went thru a few different glitter before setting on no glitter. The pedicure was relaxing. I will be coming back often.

I scheduled a pedicure at 4:30 only to sit and wait then someone came in after me and got started before me, never even tried to run my water while i waited or offer a drink. Never will go back or recommend to anyone

Jade took off two chipped powder nails that I had gotten done while I was in Maryland for a wedding. Unfortunately, they werent able to match the emerald green nails. However fortunately it was the same finger on each hand so I chose a rose quartz like color for both of my thumbs. Jade was nice and gentle. I have eczema and it is often mistaken for dry skin. It makes my skin extremely thin. As an ex-cosmetologist, I think Jade did a great job shaping and with sanitation. I noticed a red spot that could have been blood or red nail polish on Jades hand shortly after she began filing my nails and she immediately stopped the service and washed her hands. KUDOS Thank you. (Products used in salons can be very drying also working with grinding tools accidents happen. It is equally as likely for it to have been bright red nail polish.) Jade made me feel safe and comfortable. Ill be back in a few weeks for a full set.

Been going to this spa for a few months and have gotten pedicures manicures and acrylics done! Staff are always friendly and professional, wait times arent bad and their covid precautions are very good. Overall vibe of the spa is relaxing and friendly.

Everyone was super nice and welcoming. I am very picky about the shape of my acrylic nails and the lady made sure I was happy multiple times, and was very kind when I critiqued something. I put four stars because the edges of my nail were sort of messy, but overall it was a great experience. Update: I got my nails done yesterday, and today I tried to open the car mirror and one of my nails broke in half.

This place is great! Of course I went away 930am on a Tuesday, but I got in and out in about an hour. Got the pink and white dipped nails and they are beautiful and the perfect length.

Love this place! Friendly staff and can always fit me into their schedule. Highly recommend Anna! I even called them on my wedding day with a chipped nail and they came to the rescue.

The service is always impeccable at Oberlin, one of the best nail salons in Raleigh! I tried SNS with tips, it looks amazing but I think she made the layers too thick.

Every time I come to this nail shop Im welcomed and that makes me feel valuable. They treat my hands and feet like they would their own. These ladies and gentlemen are great at their craft and even tho I moves further from the shop Ill keep coming back from now on out!

This is the BEST salon in the area if you get nail enhancements. They always have several technicians available. Ive been here several times and Ive never had to wait. They do a great job, and the owner, Mrs Lily, is very friendly and manages her establishment like a pro. They do not, however, have what I would call a relaxing Spa environment. The facility is nice though, for sure. Anything this place may lack in environment it makes up for in fast, friendly service and good quality. Good prices, too! Highly recommended. :)

I called and made sure they were able to take me for a pedicure. Said no problem. I sat down asked for the deluxe with 20 min massage. I said... If not enough time Ill just do a reg pediAgain she said no problem. Fast forward 20 mins later Im done and they are ready for me to pay.She barely even massaged my feet like a normal Pedicure let alone I paid for 20 mins extra.I stood up and said no way shape or form did she massage me for 20 mins.So then she said Ill charge 10 less... Omg really? Ill never be back. Handed her a 40$ bc it was 37 and I had to ask for my change back with no apologies. I only picked this place bc they were open. Never never never again. I am a 12 year old boy... I know what your thinking; in what state of mind is a 12 year old boy to go get a pedicure?!? Well I am a soccer player and always have ingrown toenails and dead skin. This urged me to get a pedicure. The staff here is humorous and SO friendly. They offer if you want a drink, how hot you want the water, and are very gentle with your feet/hands. If I ever need a pedicure again, I am DEFINITELY coming here.

Went in to get nails done Sat . Man that did my nails didn’t cut my nails down but filed them instead when I asked for trim down . Did SNS as I always have done, he did it very differently, didn’t put dip on thick and didn’t file it down with the tool, he then filed my nails which I kept saying weren’t even ... he then put finishing coat on and I waited the 5 minutes for them to dry . Told a lady who walked by my nails weren’t even and she grabbed file . Filed them still aren’t even and now 6/10 nails are chipped and one actually has broken ! Not even going back to get them fixed because he didn’t do the dip correctly in first place . Won’t ever sway from my normal salon again !! Only pro is the manicure was amazing !!!

Loved my experience in this salon! Very professional staff and my OPI gel nails looked about the best theyve ever looked. I was here 3 weekends ago for a girls weekend and they did an amazing job! My nails stay in tact. the price was affordable. It was very clean and I would definitely go back if I were in the area.

Alan and Cindy did deluxe pedicures for my mom and I and we were SO RELAXED. We had gone to Polished Nail bar which was loud, dirty, and crowded, but we wanted a more sedate setting so we tried oberlin and were already planning our next visit. Great massages, clean salon, careful work, and such sweet staff all around. My new go to!

HARD PASS! Dirty with awful customer service! Went in for a gel manicure and had reservations based on how dirty the place looked. Unfortunately, I stayed. The manicure doesnt include soaking nails, so forget about having your cuticles trimmed. When I asked why they didnt soak the nails, the tech said, they dont have bowls. When I decided the place wasnt for me and that I would not be continuing the service (nails had been slightly shaped, I did not have on polish) the woman was then able to find and offer a finger bowl?? I skipped it altogether, however not before being charged $10 FOR NOTHING! With a nail salon, literally on every corner, opt for a different place.

Christy was great, but only works on Sundays now.. wont be returning since she was my favorite. The others do not do as good quality of work and are always in a hurry. Would recommend for an emergency nail need, since appointments are not needed.

Went here with a friend, stood for about 5 minutes. Everyone looked at us, but no one greeted or acknowledged us. A lady walked in behind us, and she was greeted immediately. It didn’t help that my friend and I are minorities and the lady that walked in after us was white. Not a good look. I hate that this happened because the first time I went here, the service was good.

Made an appointment at 5:30, same as my friend I went with. Just a simple manicure but they are so bad with their scheduling that in the 30 minutes I waited for them to start on mine, my friend was done with her manicure. Will never go back and definitely dont recommend.

I came in for an eyebrow wax and acrylic fill. The wax was great and the visit only cost $40, so I thought the prices were reasonable. However, the longer I went, the more I was disappointed with the fill. When my nails grew a little, you could see the chunky edges of the acrylics, as well as spots where they clearly werent filled. The paint job was sloppy, with some of my nails slightly bumpy and almost all of them having gel polish on the tips (like on the front edge of the nails) which has been driving me nuts. It seems like it could have been better but I think my technician was in a hurry.

LeLe is the owner and she takes care of her patrons. Best nail technicians imo are John, Cindy and Vivian. Vivian is the best with eyebrows.

It was my first time at this salon and everyone was really nice and welcoming. I went on a Wednesday around 3pm. The wait was 45 minutes but I didnt make an appointment so Im not complaining. I was offered water multiple times, thanked for waiting, and they made sure that I loved my nails before I left. I wish they were open later on weekdays but overall great experience!Update: SNS polish cracked in half after 6 days. I called to complain and Lilly mentioned that often times, its done too thin. They fixed it (which was nice) but this salon is out of my way and SNS should not chip before 2 weeks.

The customer service was good. They were a little pushy and didnt give me space or a lot of time to pick a nail color. My pedicure was great they did a great job! However, I got acrylic nails put on and they did a horrible job. The nails are too small, it doesnt even cover my whole finger. There are parts of my real nail left out on the sides. The nail length is not even at all and some are shaped differently. I was very disappointed because before going I read the reviewes and they seemed good. Wont be going back for acrylic

I visited this shop on 7-2-18 and again on 7-8-18. Its now 7-12-18 and my nails look horrible. The second visit was to get 2 nails repaired. One nail completely broke and the other was cracked. The nail tech put super glue on the cracked nail and another layer of top coat. My nails are lumpy and uneven. Very poor work.

The lady ripped my sns polish off instead of soaking did filed them down with the machine way too much then preceded to file my long nails down after I asked her to trim them. This was painful, the shape of my nail was awful and I felt like they had damaged my nails from the process. Will not be back.

This was my first visit here with my mom and sis. Since it was across the street from our church I was like sure lets go here. I have never had an owner tell me that after 3 days the polish cracked bc of the weather. When the lady painted my toes the polish looked a little chucky and I mentioned it. While using the same polish on my nails she added thinning drops not one time but 4 times basically proving my point. On the 3rd day I was like this is crazy... i had not washed dishes or did any household chores but my nails looked really bad with cracks in the middle of the polish. When I went back she insisted it was the weather and not the polish smh...I was livid bc she didnt offer a discount and kept telling me about regular patrons.... Now I did not get acrylic nails just a basic manicure so I really just looked at her like she was crazy. I paid the extra 10 for the gel polish just to get my nails to look decent. I will not go back or allow any of my family or friends to go here. They were polite initially but constantly telling a paying customer that it was the weather and not the polish is a little insane and is definitely not how you keep them. I will rather drive the extra miles and go back to LaVie Nail Spa in Durham,NC, where they value their work and their paying customers.

My roommate and I went together, she had great service, however, my experience wasnt as pleasant. He filed my nails down way too short, cut me to the point where I bled on three of my fingers, and did a very poor paint job.

I made an appointment two weeks ago, as I walked in today they were unaware that I was coming. There was a big confusion when I asked for what I wanted, they switched me to two manicurists, it took thirty minutes to get started! I wanted an acrylic set, on the phone they said they had a more natural one besides acrylic and said theyd book me for that one and of course they didnt know what I was talking about when I got there. I asked for Chevron nails as the accent nail and the rest red, it took while for them to get what I wanted, even with pictures. The chevron was really bad, so I just asked her to paint them all red, as soon as I asked she started yelling around the salon in a different language, mostly every time I asked her to fix something, which I thought was very rude. The appointment was soon taken over by the owner because it was going badly, she was not filing well or putting the gel on correctly, in the owners opinion so she stepped over. Throughout the appointment all he manicurists were hovering over me, at least 3, and she kept answering her phone and letting the nail polish slide all over my cuticle. Once the other manicurist came to finish up, the mood of the appointment became very hostile and uncomfortable, I tried to apologize for asking her to change the color and fill in any spots she missed but she was very angry. All in all, dont go for a acrylics, if you dont want a very uncomfortable and unprofessional experience.
