Ive lived here for about a year now. I really love it here! The complex is very clean, warm, and welcoming. Management has always been very nice and helpful. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, usually within 24 hrs of submitting the request. Its also in a great location -- right off the highway and near restaurants and shopping, but not so close to hear all the traffic! Highly recommended!
Lived here for a whole year and I would highly recommend this apartment if you work or study in Cary and Raleigh. Location is great and rent is very fair. The gate makes me feel safe. Maintenance requests can be solved within one or two. Manage team is friendly and responsive.
My husband and I lived here from April 2019-December 2020 and it was seriously a fantastic experience. Kim in the leasing office is an actual star! Whenever we needed anything, no matter how small, I knew I could text the office number and would get a timely response back. Maintenance works quickly and efficiently. In short, if you are choosing between this complex and another one that costs the same...choose this one. You will not regret it!
Ive lived here for over two years now and it was definitely a good decision to come here and leave our old apartment complex behind. The staff here was much more welcoming and the community aspect is much more present. In just a few months after moving in, the staff all knew us by name. They actually hold regular events and it shows that they care about their residents. Our old complex one exit away had an unaccommodating staff and rarely did anything for its residents. Id definitely recommend others to come here if youre considering it. The location is great too being right off I-40 and close to other stores/shopping. Just renewed again!
Such a fantastic apartment complex! Clean, safe, friendly neighbors, the whole nine yards. The staff are incredibly friendly and have been a huge help whenever I had any questions or needed assistance. Personally excited to enjoy the pool this summer!
Highly recommended!!! We lived here for around 2years. Absolutely zero problems. The leasing office staff were very friendly and kind. All our service requests were attended quickly and resolved the same day or next. The apartment is clean and beautiful with lots of trees. The community people were friendly. We enjoyed several food trucks that were arranged by the apartment staff.
We have lived in the apartments for 18 months, and I must say that is one of the best apartments I have lived in. The apartments are very bright, safe area and good amenities. As soon as you leave the apartment, you have both I-40 E and I-40 W which was super-great since it helps saves lot of time. The grocery stores are also nearby Harris teeter, Patel Brothers are like 1.5 miles away. I would recommend anyone to move into these apartments.
We moved to this beautiful apartment complex last year. As an experienced homeowner, It was the hardest decision for us to find the best place to live “with two kids”. But Tanja Santee and her team made everything so easy from day one. They try so hard to see their residents happy. Everybody at Rock management deserves a big Thank You from us. We love you all. We are so happy to live here. I definitely suggest this amazing place!
Legends is a great place to live! The staff is always nice and friendly. Maintenance is super quick! We have never had an issue with anything and love living here!
Its been close to 2 years that we are living here. The office staff are very friendly in receiving residents who steps into the leasing office. Especially Kim is very active talking with people and maintenance guys are so helpful in resolving any issues....Love living here....!!!
I highly recommend Legends Cary Town. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. The amenities and staff are awesome.
I was a little apprehensive when we were told that we could not see actual units but only the models they had in the office building. On move in, I could see they had cleaned the carpets thoroughly and it looked and smelled clean in every room.Management office is really nice and has been great! Maintenance is also really good and fast. There is a mail room with lockers.Since its an older complex, there are some things like water pooling against the building when it rains. I dont think the windows are very good at keep in heat or keeping in cold. We had a lot of mold accumulate on the window and window sills if we werent diligent (all year)- I have never had this problem before at other places. My energy bills were also much higher than expected.Neighbors are generally good. We had neighbors upstairs who stomped so hard my glasses would rattle in the cupboards. New upstairs neighbors seems to like bouncing around in the mornings and shake my cupboards but doesnt do it any other time. And one liked to put his trash outside his door. But staff was good about handling complaints and has a policy about leaving your trash outside your door.Overall, awesome staff and okay neighbors.
I absolutely love living at Legends Cary Towne! The minute I entered the property I knew Id love it, and after almost two years I still do. As a young professional, I love the easy access to downtown Raleigh ($15 uber ride), and the growing Cary area is also delightful. The pool is fabulous, but still really chill, which I appreciate. All of my neighbors are extremely friendly and polite, and I love that we have a good mix of younger people and older adults. The staff is outstanding - I couldnt believe that they remembered who I was after meeting me once. Plus they love dogs, which is key in my book.
So far best apartment experience ever in my experience. The structure of 2b2b is really good and stuff is super helpful. No bug, quick fix of things. I wish I could buy the apartment.
This apartment complex has the best staff! And throws great parties with amazing prizes. They are quick to respond and get things done as soon as possible. Best apartment ever!
The best staff, the cleanest apartments, and a great location too!
I absolutely love living here! I knew from the moment I knew from the moment I met Megan, that i was home! The staff has always gone above and beyond to make my roommates and me feel welcomed and that we belonged. The floor plans are so spacious and a great deal! Highly recommend this apartment complex!
The staff is great, neighbors are friendly, and my dog loves it here. There are plenty of areas for us to walk around and it is close to the grocery store!
Clean, quiet community! Apartments are so spacious, amenities are great. The residents Ive met have been very friendly & the staff is awesome! So helpful and attentive! Any issue Ive had has been taken care of quickly and they have a maintenance guy on call 24/7 for any emergencies which is more than I can say for other places Ive lived. The office sends out weekly emails about events in the community & daily emails keeping residents updated on any renovations and updates currently going on. Theyve been putting a lot of working into the apartments lately, really making the community look great!
Beautiful apartment & community!! Office staff are phenomenal! Staff very friendly & welcoming! Moving here was the best decision I made! I love how long office is open and the fact it’s open every day so you can pick up packages any time! Maintenance team is the best ever! No matter what time of day or night maintenance is available & resolves problems! Put in work order the same day they come & fix the issue! I have never rented an apartment where maintenance was this great. My number one reason of moving out of my old apartment was that office staff & maintenance were horrible so take my word for the fact that I did a lot of research before moving to this apartment complex! Let me tell you this is the best apartment complex in the area & moving here was the best decision I have made!so happy to be living in this community!
Legends Cary Towne is a beautiful community and Im happy to say that I live here. Its been about a year and a half now and the office staff has always been unbelievably helpful, friendly, and engaging. The ladies that run this community, along with the maintenance staff, are highly efficient and strive to make their residents as happy as possible. Some perks include food trucks, a newly renovated pool, a well-kept neighborhood, and a car washing station. I dont have any complaints about this community, but if I had to nitpick, itd be over the lack of a dog park. However, Carolina Pines is fairly close and convenient. Legends Cary Towne has been, by far, my favorite place to live and I encourage you to see how amazing it is for yourself.
Fantastic location, staff, floor plans, etc. I, and most residents Ive met(past and present) only leave when we move to new cities or into houses. The location is not good for walking to places due to highway access but anything is 5-20 minute drive away. There are four places serving Starbucks within 5 miles. Its the life of a Cary citizen with a Raleigh address. The staff is super friendly, and personable. Over the 2 years I spent there I saw a handful of roaches which I chalked up to seasonal changes and the pest control guys are available weekly. The community news emails are always cheery, and the amenities are great. I never had the opportunity to use the pool, I think it was under renovation most of my time there, but I didnt miss it. My unit was nearly the farthest away from the propertys sole dumpster but it wasnt much of an issue. Occasionally the gate would jam in the morning, but that could resolve quickly. The complaints against the parking are adequate, yet I never found myself lacking for parking. Some nights I would park near the office(not behind the gate) and be confident that my car would be fine in the morning. The storage in each floor plan is awesome. Very pet friendly, some of my favorite neighbors had the sweetest dogs.
I was living out of state when I found this property online. It was not my first choice but to this date Im happy with the decision to lease here. The property is centrally located, the staff is super friendly, and maintenance requests are promptly handled. The open layout and ample windows allow natural light throughout. The standard amenities apply with some rumor of future expansion to stay competitive with newer, much pricier properties in the area. The top feature for me is the location; my most wanted feature would be a play area of my pup. Residents are friendly and approachable with few exceptions. There are some items that could be updated to make the apartment more competitive but that would probably put this in the same pricey category of comparable locations (and off the list for me). Overall, I am happy here and glad to be leasing yet again :)Update November 2019:As a former resident I still am treated like family. I have talked to folks I use to live near and run into staff offsite. When those encounters make you smile even weeks later you know you’ve left something special but the connection remains strong. Thanks to everyone at Legends Cary Towne. We miss you.
Perfect location to all the things..Love love love Legends Cary Towne!! Kim, Megan, Kaitlin, and Tanya are the absolute best!! They really do appreciate and care about the residents and it shows!!
First place I have lived on my own and love it!! My apartment is adorable and so spacious for me! I love the pool and how close this place is to everything. Staff is great...especially the maintenance staff..you guys go above and beyond, thank you! Will be sad when I have to leave eventually, but my home is in the works of being built! :) Recommend this place to anyone in the area.
These apartments have tons of natural light, are relatively big compared to other apartment options in the area, and the noise levels are low. The office staff are wonderful and always willing to help with any issue, and same goes for maintenance. Really great place to live.
Awesome place to live with exceptionally courteous office staff. In my short stay at Legends Cary Towne, I never faced any issues right from signing the lease through moving out. The apartments are well maintained, safe and designed to make you feel home.Jess Romano, the assistant community manager deserves a tip of the hat for her friendly and professional services.
I absolutely love living here. They definitely go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and at home.
This is our third year living at Legends Apartments. Great location and amazing staff! Highly recommend.
Very friendly staff- very nice and organized maintenance- great apartments!
The management team is very nice and attentive with the needs and the comfort of the residents. The complex is clean, quiet, safe and well located (between Cary, Raleigh and Morrisville). The apartment is nice and well arranged. The maintenance team is efficient and friendly. I recommend this place!
I live diagonally to this complex. After a week of construction, vehicle, and roofing noise I called to ask the length of time this was expected to continue. I can hear it from every room in my apartment, meaning their residents can too. I was told they were doing work and then hung up on when I asked the expected completion. I called back and was transferred to voicemail. This complex did not warn the seven surrounding complexes of noisy daily 12 hour work (I checked with my complex). Legends could care less about their surrounding community or how they treat them. This is a review on their front office team which I did experience, as well as their lack of community care.
The management at this place is terrible, and so is the quality of apartments. I lived there for 2 years (completely regret leasing their the second year but I was gonna switch jobs anyway). We had really bad floor board noises from the neighbors upstairs. You could literally hear people talking. There was no dearth of insects that could crawl into your house because the corridors we never ever taken care of by the management. The community doesnt have enough lights so if you want to take a stroll at night, it feels really dark and unsafe. (Clairmont, the community opposite Legends is fairly well lit if youre looking to lease in the area)The pool is closed half the time in summer due to one or the other emergency maintenance. At the end of the lease, they charged us for things that generally count as normal wear and tear and forfeited our security deposit. Id never recommend anyone to lease here.I should also add that the management is really rude and half the time the women in the office will outright refuse to help you. I once had a simple question: computers in business center need password, can you give us the password or log in for us?. The woman just said no I dont know anything about it and went back to doing her work. Michelle was the only nice staff they had and she also quit.
First and foremost the management and team here is amazing. All the girls in the front office are always so nice and have made us feel welcome since day one. Maintenance is also super responsive which is rare to find (from past experiences). Our apartment is beautiful and has plenty of space. The only downsides are that parking can be an issue later at night and the walls are very thin. Im on the top floor so I dont have anyone above me, but I can always hear my next door neighbors all throughout the day and night so it can be hard to sleep sometimes. No apartment is completely quiet, though so cant complain too much! Overall, I definitely recommend living here.
Loved the staff. They are definitely the selling point of this community. Never seen before the commitment these folks have towards their customers. This is one of the cleanest and well maintained community in Raleigh. Go for it!!!
I have absolutely loved my time living at Legends! I lived here for the past two years, but am having to move to meet some financial planning goals. Having worked for residential services in the past, I know staff can make or break your living experience, but the staff at Legends are all incredible! From appliance issues to personal ADA accommodation support, each staff member really went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. I also adore my physical apartment space--high ceilings and big windows make the whole plan seem HUGE! I also appreciated the convenience of having the gym, pool, mailboxes, and clubhouse adjacent to my building. All in all, I cannot say enough positive things about my time with Legends!
Great experience at the Legends Cary Towne apartments.Great location, conveniently located in between downtown Raleigh and RTP. Easy to get to Durham, Chapel Hill and around the beltline. The staff at the office is great! They are so helpful and great at communication. Always ready to answer questions or concerns via email or phone call. The facilities were just what we needed living there. Our apartment had plenty of room, 2/2 and upgraded stainless steel appliances.Nice and quiet neighborhood late night, so no worries about the super late night noise with work the next day.The pool is great especially for the hot and humid summer days. Gym is small, but kept clean and efficient. It is like a hotel gym, if you need more than what they have you will want to get a gym pass somewhere else.I would highly recommend to anyone looking. Very simple and easy move in / move out, and there is always help!
I looked at least 12 different apartment complexes and legends was the place that felt like home! I would recommend Legends Cary Towne to everyone!
The staff and maintenance is very nice and friendly! But I noticed there is a revolving door with residence moving in and out. My Fiance and daughter moved here from Northern Virginia. Yay we are saving money! We found Legends Cary Towne had an extra bathroom so that way the daughter can have her own full bath!! Downside is this place smells bad. The apartment smells like garage or a insect nest. The Noisy hot water heater should never be put in a living room, I cant hear my tv. The property management should power wash the building at least every 3 months because of the number of spiders/webs that accumulate during spring/summer/fall! Parking...well there is non. Their toilets are made for preschoolers. Speed bumps should be put in place as my daughter walks 3 blocks just to get to her bus stop with cars zooming by her at a high rate of speed. I think this is the high standard in NC. VA is way more cleaner/new etc. I guess I am in the country?
I was in Raleigh for a year and a half for graduate school, and lived at Legends Cary Towne the entire time. After the first year we renewed out lease for 12 months. 6 months in, I got a job offer in San Diego and had to leave. Instead of making a huge, horrible issue of it, they let me break my lease and leave without penalty. The grounds are nice, the gym is great, the place is quiet, clean and the residents are (mainly) very friendly. I would highly recommend this place to graduate students, families or young professionals!!
Such a great place! Apartments are very nice and the staff is beyond amazing! Always ready to help you out with anything.
Love the service I receive from the office staff upon each visit. Always friendly, attentive and ready to help.
This community is very safe and extremely clean. My biggest complaint is that there is NO dog park. There is a basketball court which has been completely unuseable for the entire time i have lived here. Its very disappointing that the court cant be converted into a useable dog park. There a TON of dogs in this community. I wouldnt consider the apartments luxury there is no hardwood floors or modern kitchen upgrades like stone counter tops, sleek cabinets or actual tile. The kitchen does offer a full size stainless steel refrigerator which is nice. When we first moved in during the summer we had a bad fly problem, it was addressed quickly but resulted in 50 or more dead flies in my apartment . There is a bit of noise from the people above us but it is expected . I enjoy the maintenance men waving to me as I drive in and out of the community, very friendly staff. The space is in the apartments are amazing and laid out perfectly with lots of natural light. Which is ultimately what sold us on the community. There is also no monthly pet fees, however I would gladly pay a monthly fee if there was a dog park. The management keeps you updated with regular emails and I like that they are open on the weekends. The air conditioning units are very old and ours stops providing cold air often. Maintenance is only available for emergencies on the weekends . The gate stayed open for months which is disappointing when you are expecting a gated community, but you cant fix the gate for months? I also wish they could have cars towed out more often that dont belong here or are parked inappropriately. A lot of my neighbors park like they have no idea what a parking place is, when the parking is already slim it makes it very frustrating.
I am a new tenant, having just moved here from the Midwest. We searched all around Cary and Holly springs looking for a solid apartment to begin our new lives in a new state. We ended up picking this location for a number of reasons. The space is perfect and the location is central as well. However I have one criticism, that being the parking. If you work till even 8pm it is very hard to find parking even on the same side of the complex, which can be very frustrating. Outside of that everything has been amazing.
Its a really well maintained luxury apartments. Nice gym and pool
I am a hot mess and the ladies in the leasing office/maintenance put up with all of my havoc. Gotta give them credit. Michelle and Jessica are especially nice!
I lived at Legends for just short of a year while working in RTP. I have to say it was one of the best choices I made for me and my family. Its a short trip to any and all shopping, and a small jump to the highways. The staff both leasing and maintenance were truly top notch, things were taken care of same day or by EOB the following. I never had trouble with other patrons as this community is predominantly young working professionals and families. I was genuinely sad to go as we moved out of state, as the amenities Legends offers were top notch. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Beautiful place, fantastic location and amazing staff!!
Best of Raleigh and Cary. Courteous and friendly staff. One of the best years in my life was there.
Good central location. The place is not bad, but the price is a bit high.
Staff is rude the moment you actually get in the place. For the money you are paying I would find another location. Parking is a nightmare, you can hear everything unless you are top floor. If you are a non-smoker you can smell it in your apartment. A great idea is to put non-smokers with non-smokers, but what do I know, that just makes sense. Make sure to not have any issues - as this is one of the must uncaring staffs I have dealt with. The only pro is the friendly maintenance crew. That is really all this place has going for it.
Unnannounced roofing project that is loud and lasted more than a week. Rude staff when called.
Pricy and dog poopy, but great customer service, clean and well organized. The rentable garages are a big plus.
Beautiful club house, and nice staff when we visit!
We just moved out after a year here, and I wanted to leave a detailed review for anyone considering this complex. Our reason for moving was mainly that our commute was too long (and with all of the construction along I-40, it was made even longer). We also had some issues with our neighbors. If not for that, we would have stayed. The office staff here is great - we never had any issues dealing with them. Any time we had a question or a complaint, they were kind and prompt with their response. We also really enjoyed the amenities. The pool was kept very clean, the gym had a good variety of weightlifting equipment, and they have food trucks come to the complex regularly, which was really nice. A few minor complaints about the gym - it was a bit cramped, especially if more than 3-4 people were in there at once, and it seems that you have to go after about 9pm to not feel too crowded.A few small things we really enjoyed:- The doors have two locks. It just added a sense of safety, and a peace of mind knowing that even management/maintenance could not come in unannounced. As someone with severe anxiety, this was appreciated.- They have a variety of community events pretty often, giving you the chance to meet some neighbors in a fun, relaxed way.- There is a good amount of storage. The storage space on the patio is a good size, the bathrooms have towel closets and medicine cabinets, and the laundry rooms are spacious. You can also rent a large storage unit for a very reasonable price.- In-unit laundry! It was so convenient.- We dealt with very few bugs during our time here.- Maintenance was very prompt, and we did not have to call them often, as there were few issues to begin with.A few issues we had during our time here:- Noise - We could hear EVERYTHING our upstairs neighbor did. I could hear them stomping, opening and closing drawers, and talking very loudly all the time. Our downstairs neighbor had a dog that barked all the time. The worst was the neighbors who screamed and threw things at each other very late at night, actually leading us to call security. To Legends credit, that stopped immediately after a visit from the security officer.- It was very difficult to keep mildew off the windows. Every time it rained, it returned, and it became frustrating to have to bleach the windows every few weeks.- Parking is very hard to come by, especially after 5:30pm on weekdays. This problem could possibly be remedied somewhat by designating some visitor spaces, and also ensuring people are parking correctly (it seemed that several people really did not care that they consistently took up two spaces). It was especially irritating during inclement weather, or coming home with a trunk full of groceries. The location is wonderful - right off 40, the best variety of grocery stores within 5-10 minutes, and just minutes away from Crossroads (shopping and restaurants), Cary Towne Center, PNC Arena, downtown Raleigh, several nice parks, and downtown Cary.Overall, I would recommend this complex. I wish we could have stayed!
Ill give a balanced review, but Ill preface by saying I really enjoyed living here and highly recommend it. I lived in two different apartments here: a one-bedroom 2nd floor unit, and a two-bedroom 3rd floor unit. The good: You get a lot of space for the price. Very open floor plans with lots of natural light. Having recently moved to smaller place, I couldnt believe how much stuff I had to throw out/donate that I used to have space for at Legends Cary Towne. Lots of spacious cabinets in the kitchen, a pantry, walk-in closets, a coat closet, and an external patio storage room were wonderful for this purpose. The master bath also had a linen closet in the 2BR I shared. The staff and maintenance were friendly and competent. Never had to wait very long for a fix or an answer to a question. There has been some turnover in the leasing office since we moved in, but things still seem to function well. They also throw little pool parties and stuff every once and a while for free for their residents.Noise level was good. I wont say its like living in a standalone house or anything, but Ive lived in places with paper thin walls. This isnt one of them. Youll hear your neighbors sometimes, but its not bad at all. Only issue for me would be when people would crash the pool at night, as I had a pool-view apartment, and they could get rowdy.Speaking of which. THE POOL! The pool and especially the hot tub are amazing. Ive had many a good party on account of them. Very big. Very pretty. The hot tub functions year-round.Other amenities are nice too. I used the gym frequently which I appreciated had free weights and a bench. Most apt. gyms only use machines. The leasing office has a Keurig where you can make a quick coffee, and they also have a movie rental facility. I also made good use of their car wash center.Never saw evidence of bugs here. You might see the occasional spider or fly, but no roaches. I hate roaches. This was a big plus for me. However, I never had a floor unit, so something to consider. The okay: Safety is a bit of an issue there, probably because it borders a low-income neighborhood. My car got rummaged through once (I think I had left it unlocked), and this past holiday three apartments were burglarized. This isnt the apartment complexs fault, but because its pretty much in Cary but still has a Raleigh address, police response time is abysmal. All this being said though, its not like its a rough place to live. I never felt unsafe. Its a decent location. Its walking distance to nothing but short driving distance to everything. Its immediately off I-40 and a short hop to Crossroads in Cary. Theres a 24-hr Harris Teeter close by as well.Parking is good. You might have to walk a little if you get home late, but its not terrible and your friends can stay overnight without fear of being towed. The bad: Only one thing: The gate. That stupid, freakin gate. Youd think living in a gated community would be a good thing, but the gate is frequently on the fritz, stuck open or stuck shut. Fortunately there are two entrances so youre usually good to get in one. However, the call-boxes flip out regularly too which can make buzzing people in a chore. I wish theyd just lose the dang things.Oh one other thing. I always lived on the side with the dumpsters so it wasnt an issue for me, but I think the whole community only has one set of dumpsters. If youre on the far side, that will be annoying.Overall: Great place to live. Really enjoyed my stay there. Had to leave because Im a broke graduate student and needed to cut costs, but I would have stayed longer if I could.
Wonderful apartment!
