I don’t live here, but my girlfriend does. She pays a very low price every month, even lower in the summer, and the apartments are actually really nice. I wish it was men’s housing.
Literally giving it 5 stars cause they deserve it. The price is INCREDIBLE for what they give you. Same with the Utilities. Theyre hard to beat. There apartments are great plus its SUPER close to campus. And even closer to the bus stop! Living here in the winter semester rn and gonna be living here for spring and summer #bestapartmentsever #maynevermoveout😆
This is nothing fabulous, but it meets needs well enough. The amenities are OK and apartments are a little small and old, but you can make the most of it. Cleaning checks are twice a month, one regular and one light; this is helpful if you have roommates who arent so tidy... Its super close to campus, which is awesome. The biggest complaint I have is that the laundry room has several machines that dont work, but good luck guessing which ones those are (you wont know until you put your money in- and theres no refunds). The wards are great; I havent had any trouble with management. You get what you pay for, but overall Regency is a good place to live.Update: the manager changed, and its been good! Theyre finally replacing some laundry machines.
Dirty, management is unhelpful, difficult, and rude, termites, mold, cracks throughout walls and ceilings, some of the worst roommates Ive had (after 5 years in Provo)... Also some of the best roommates Ive had. But the complex still sucks. And the pool is only open for 2-3 months at best. The renovations were more of a face lift- they just further covered up the actual serious issues. Overall, you get what you pay for. Its super close to campus though which is why I stuck around until I graduated. 🤷
These apartments are really nice because they are super close to the BYU campus as well as the corner market. The apartments are fairly nice, although the inside of building three is quite old.
It has a great location, and the people there are nice though the ward isnt super social. The apartments have a nice layout but are pretty old.
The cleaning check lady is crazy! But everything else is good
I like living at Regency! Its affordable and so close to campus!
I lived here two summers in a row, and can safely say I will never do it again. While the rent is cheap during the summertime, my experience was ridiculous, to say the least. There are cleaning checks every few weeks, and I got fined almost every time. Once, I wasnt even given a reason, they just issued a fine, and the next few times, I kept getting fined for chores my roommates had failed to do. Every time I called to complain about the fees, whoever was working the office was less than civil. The code to unlock the apartment never changed, and I would often have old tenants just walking in looking for people. I didnt feel as though it was safe to leave my valuables in the apartment for this reason. So, unless you like living with 5 other girls, and you like people barging every few weeks making sure you can keep your apartment clean, I dont recommend it. You would think that grown women wouldnt need people making clean checks...
I lived at Regency for two years. While the rent is relatively cheap, it is not worth the hassle of living there. The current manager(Aubrey) is brand new, has never managed anything before, and seems to be compensating for her lack of experience by randomly selecting residents to punitively be very demanding upon. The old manager(Makayla) showed clear favoritism when it came to apartment choice, late rent fees, and work order fulfillment. When I first moved in, my apartment had severe water damage on the wall above the balcony door. I moved to a different apartment after one semester and a summer away. I was contacted mid-summer by the manager with a request to move apartments because two girls wanted to be roommates. I was okay with switching apartments, so I acquiesced. I was forced to move to a different building because renovations were scheduled for my building. I moved in with a friend, who was only planning on staying for the summer as well. We decided to try getting a contract in the same apartment for the following school year. We both contacted the manager. My friend had a contract within a week. The only response I got after multiple emails was, Ill put you on the waiting list. This is despite my being moved to accommodate two girls the previous summer. In addition, I add made a surplus of payments(I made the mistake of setting up auto payments), and when I requested to know what my balance was (because the website was broken) I was refused. I had to guess at when my balance was out, and ended up being penalized for incomplete rent payments. When the summer was over, there was a two-week break between the end of the term and the start of the new semester. I was told the day before this break that I had to vacate my apartment and move back into the renovated apartment. I was told the renovations we done. The so-called renovations consisted of replacing the cabinets. Thats it. There are still dozens of holes in the walls of the living room, and the door that leads to the balcony FALLS OFF ITS TRACK. There was a two-inch layer of dust covering everything, which I cleaned. My trashcan was taken, and I had to buy a new one. The shower curtains covered about one-third of the tub, I bought a new one. The light bulbs were all gone, I had to buy them. The Google Fiber box was unusable. I was told that internet was not the responsibility of the manager and that I would have to figure it out myself. The website has now been amended to reflect that, but when I signed my contract, it said internet was provided by the apartment. I had to pay for a new box and install it myself. I never got reimbursed. There was no running water for almost a week. I had to take my dirty dishes over to another building and wash them, and then shower there. In addition, the manager gave out my information to my future roommates, despite telling my last summer that should couldnt give out any information about current or future tenets. I didnt find out about this until I was contacted by multiple people. The beginning of the semester brought on a whole new round of horrors, mostly consisting of unintelligible emails about new rent payment guidelines, and threats of fines for things like overfilling the trash bins because they had not yet renewed the service, which it took two weeks to renew. It also included an Im going to give you an eviction notice warning because I STILL COULD NOT SEE HOW MUCH I OWED ON RENT and was not paying until I was told how much was on my balance. I only discovered an almost 300 dollar SURPLUS AFTER I got my deposit back. At one point the water needed to be turned off for a few hours. On top off all of this, absolutely NONE of the rules such as modest swimsuits and CURFEW, were not enforced. The single rule that was enforced was the laundry closing at 10. But what does that matter, half of the washers/dryers dont even work, and have never been repaired. Sometimes they just wouldnt come. I wouldnt live at Regency if someone paid me. The balcony door might fall on me, and then where would I be?
I have really enjoyed living here.
Good place to live, close to campus as well
Good apartments with really crappy parking and extremely close to campus and student life.
Well worn student housing
Good apartements and bathrooms
Never lived there but seems nice
Every girls apartment Ive been to here is dark, humid, and dirty.
