I just moved to Texas and I’ve been looking for a good place to get my nails done. Im super picky with techs and when I find one I like I stick with them. I went into Venus for a gel pedicure and a dip powder full set. Liz was so sweet and took her time with my pedicure. Devin did an amazing job on my nails and took his time to make sure the shape was exactly what I wanted. Both him and Liz stayed after closing time to get my services done. I will absolutely be back! Thank you guys so much for making me feel like a proper lady again!

I came here for a pedicure it takes 2 hrs . I’ve had three different people working on my feet. I asked for acrylic on my big toe and gel pedi. The First Lady did not seem like she knew what she was doing and was lost and kept speaking to me in a different language I couldn’t understand . The manager did my acrylic on my toe and then the First Lady came back to add the gel and then switched with another lady again . They don’t have a price list with their prices so they just ask the manager and she throws a price out . I feel like they should have a set price for everything for customers and employees to see . Never coming here again

I think this is the best salon Ive ever been to. This is my 3rd time here.This time around I got the stone massage with my pedicure. Sunny did an excellent job. Then he offered to do my neck & shoulders & it was the best massage Ive ever had, seriously.These people are great & this salon is very nice.

This place has a very pretty interior, fruit cups and refreshments are a nice touch. However it does not make up for the rudeness or just lack of customer satisfaction. I went in with a group of 5, I had called ahead and scheduled so they were expecting us. I was in on my wedding day, ready to have fun and be pampered and was treated as though we were a burden. Very disappointing.

Im so sorry to have to write this review. Ive been going to Venus for years, because when they get it right, theyre very, very good.But increasingly over the years, they are not getting it right as often.The biggest problem is the language barrier, which certainly is not unique to Venus -- its a problem almost everywhere. Dont misunderstand me -- I absolutely respect the culture and language of immigrants! But it would be so nice if only there were always someone around who serves as a translator. Its such a struggle to ask questions or make requests that I just give up, rather than be viewed as obnoxious and demanding.The other day, the lady doing my feet (Ming) did a masterful job -- but I watched in growing alarm as the other lady completely botched my hands. I dont normally indulge in having my hands done, but I have a big event tomorrow, so I went for the works. Early on, I tried to point out that this lady had made a sharp corner on one side of a nail, and her wordless response was to take the clippers and chop it off, leaving that side cut to the quick, and the OTHER side now protruding by contrast.Her first layer of color was wildly uneven, with bare streaks and little wells of polish in the corners. I thought maybe the second layer would cover it... but it didnt. The second layer didnt even reach the edges, so now I had bare streaks and ragged little cliffs where the second layer ended short.By this time, I didnt have TIME to start over, even if Id had the nerve to complain. I just let it go and resigned myself to removing it and going without polish on my hands (because I no longer have the precise motor control to do it myself, and I cannot afford ANOTHER manicure).So. I am somewhat at fault myself, because I didnt make a fuss about it. But how could that woman think the job shed done was acceptable?Venus is a very pretty shop, and some of their people do great work and are lovely people... but when things go wrong, theres no one who speaks enough English to allow you to communicate clearly. If there had been, I could have derailed that horrible manicure right away and gotten a fresh start.On another occasion, an older man did my hands (the problems seem to arise with hands), and I noticed that he poured something into the polish before starting the job. I realized later that it must have been polish remover or some other kind of thinner. The polish looked okay for a few minutes, but it curdled as it dried, crumpling up into a total mess. I would have requested a repaint, but having no car, I would have had to pay Uber MORE than the cost of the manicure to get BACK there.I hope the staff of Venus sees this and responds. I would like to remain a customer.But I cant keep paying for work I have to remove immediately.

Everytime I’m in town I go to this place. I LOVE IT! I love the complimentary drinks and fruit. The environment is so relaxing. They are so gentle on my feet and with the hot wax and stones. This is my favorite salon. I wish I lived close to it.

Ive been to quite a few nail salons since I moved to Dallas, and this one by far has been the best. Priced reasonably, great customer service, and my nails are done better there and last longer than other places. Today, I was there and I chose a color of powder dip for my nails that I ended up not liking, and they were so kind and patient and fixed my nails until it was exactly what I wanted. Will definitely go back!

I went in to get my nails removed only no polish nothing, I did not want any other services at that time because it was 715pm and they were closing at 730 and I did not want anything rushed. So I told myself I would come back to actually get my nails done but after my experience I hate this place. I will never come back here or recommend this place to anyone. The manager well the owner of the salon who removed my nails made me feel so uncomfortable. She stared at me the entire time it made me feel so awkward keep in mind I am pregnant. When I was done I went to the front to pay, I was told $12 good thing I looked at my bank statement the following week because this place charged my card $30 twice. I called up there because I didn’t want to have to dispute the entire charge with my bank but they did nothing. I asked if I could speak with the manager who said she would look into it and get back with me and she never did. This place is very unprofessional, just a tip for those who do decide to go here. Always keep your receipt and make sure not to throw it away until after the transaction goes through, they will over charge your card without your consent.

Wonderful!Loved the service !This was my very first time going here and it was also my very first time to get gel now when Ive always done next gen so far Im in love the place was super quiet very Serene and very tranquil is very relaxing I fell asleep in the chair getting my pedicure and I had my nails done with gel nail and I had my pedicure done and it was just perfect I loved every bit of it!!Phaung and Hanug did my services and I will definitely be going back for my service on my next trip for sure for sure!!!

This is the one place I can go to that’s peaceful and quiet. Love that they separate their pedicure chairs from the tables. Service has always been great for me. Tammy and younger Minh are my favorite technicians.

Me and my mom walked in and we had to wait 15 minutes but they had open people sitting around. they are very friendly but they work slow and dont nails right. the man didnt cover my whole nail and was bossy. but they do really nice pedicure. cost is too much to get 2 pedicures was $85.

This place was amazing! i got nexgen and it looks so good. they had free fruit cups, water, and soda. the workers were really nice as well!

They are an amazing group of people that really care to do the right thing. Sonny and Amy are the owners and they work to intend on making everyone happy. Obviously, this is hard work and some people choose to be complicated and demanding. Ive been going to this place since they opened back in 2010. Amy and Sunny are both wonderful and professional owners who have gone above and beyond for this salon. From the amazing services offered to the fruit and beverage being served and not to mention how beautiful the establishment is. Im always impressed with my my Pedicures and the awesome different services offered. I highly recommend the Venus Spa Pedicure. Although its a little pricey it is worth every penny.. i know other salons who charge much more and offer way less. The Venus pedi comes with everything from Hot wax, stone massage and a 7 minute shoulder rub for a PEDICURE! Every new friend or family Ive ever brought in has been amazed at how awesome their service is... also they have the best selection of colors from everything to polish, gel and Nex Gen!Beyond SatisfiedErica C

Visited this salon for the first time today and was very pleased. Amy is amazing!! Be sure to ask for her. I had an appointment and was glad I did as they seemed a little understaffed. I chose just the regular manicure and am very happy with it! Ill definitely be going back soon!

I got NexGen on my nails and had my eyebrows done as well. The atmosphere is wonderful! The lady did a fantastic job on my nails, theyre the length and shape I asked for. The lady that did my eyebrows was a little snippy but she did a good job. Overall satisfied!

I request for lash fill. As soon as I got home, glue was visible and most lashes falling off.

Venus Nail is my favorite spa to get a pedicure. I dont go anywhere else since I came here about 3 years ago. The prices are fair and you get more than what you pay for. I have never encountered a bad experience here. I can make an appointment or walk in and dont wait anymore than 5 minutes. They provide delicious fruit cups and different types of wines. My mother and girlfriends come with me to Venus because they know how great it is! I would recommend trying them out if you havent already.

I went here after being told they did a good job on nextgen. Im accustomed to paying $35 for next gen, so was shocked when they asked me for $55 at checkout! Shame on me for not asking before hand and shame on them for not charging all clients the same rate. The girl who referred me said she was used to paying $40. I honestly wouldnt go back now for even $40. I have 2 knicks in my cuticles where they were sloppy with the electric file and overall, my experience here was a bust.

Unfortunately I will never come back to this establishment. My pedicure looks HORRIBLE!!!! The nail tech didnt even fully paint my toes and I didnt notice it until I got home and although 2 different employees looked at my toes before I left they said NOTHING so my guess is theyre ok with doing subpar work at this store and honestly my boyfriend who knows nothing about pedis says it looks like a kid did it. I wish I would have saved my money and did it myself at least it would have looked a million times better, and mind you I am not a nail tech. I really thought I was going to get my moneys worth but was highly disappointed.

I went there this past Sunday for a gel fill and the lady that did my nails ( older lady, no offense) was very uptight and rude. She kept stopping and starting. Im not sure if she usually does pedicures because she seemed timid filing my nails, which I didnt get the shaped I asked for. Also to add they are very overpriced, so with that being said if youre going to charge me an arm and a leg! Please, I ask that my paint isnt peeling the very next day. They charged me $50 btw. for a FILL. thats what I previously paid for my fullset. If I could give no stars, I wouldve. highly DO NOT recommend.

The older lady who was doing my pedicure was so rough. When she transitioned to the manicure portion she threw the magazine I was reading off my lap and placed a bowl of soaking water on my lap that spilled everywhere and she didn’t even mention it. The technicians kept swapping out but they all were unfriendly. I won’t be back.

Horrible experience. I will never come back to this place to get hurt waste my money and time they took more than 2 hours. The staff does not has experience not nice I lost my eyebrows and burn my skin and nails bleeding they did not say sorry but said oops. The owner or manager was arguing with other customers. Im so scared and definitely dont recommend anyone!!

This was the worst experience from a nail salon Ive ever had! It took 2 hours for a basic pedicure and manicure and when it was finished I felt rushed out the door so my nails didnt dry and were ruined. My friend that went with me got nextgen and all of her nails came off by the time she got home and the salon refused to fix it for free.

Absolutely horrible. First of all, when I walked in she said it would be $45, but when I went to pay it was some how magically changed to $50. I know its only $5 but its the principle of the matter. Anyways, I asked her not to cut my cuticles, but I guess she didnt listen bc my cuticles are still bleeding as I type this. Idc what language you speak, if youre working at a nail salon you need to know the words no and cuticle. ATROCIOUS service. Will never be going back again.

Looks nice on outside although a very dated look. Most technicians dont speak Englist and talk the whole ttime, not relaxing. Can be expensive for what you get.

The man, mid 40s to 50s, that did my nails used a cheap pink powder. I didnt know it was so cheap and toxic to my nails until I had them removed. The lady who removed them was not happy about removing them. First off, the powder was cheap and put on so thick they looked like a balloon on top of my real nail. Since he put them on so thick it was a hell of a job taking them off. Also, it was so toxic to my nails that they still hurt. The chemicals he used ate through to under my nail. I get pink & white solar nails often, and this was my worst experience yet. I had them on one week before they started to detach from my nail bud area. Every time I washed my hair my nails caught and pulled my hair out. I notice my nails still arent strengthening up or growing out. I really hope they recover soon, because this is the pits. I wouldnt refer this place to anyone else. UPDATE: It has been 1-3 months since I had my nails taken off and my nails still will not grow. They are also damaged underneath the nail and hurt when certain things get under them.
