My son and husband went for a 1pm appointment only to be told it would be a 30 minute wait. Not a big deal but over 2 hours later their checkups and cleanings have still not been complete. Obviously a complete lack of regard for patients time and over scheduling of appointments. The office was dirty, hair on the floor, huge clumps of dirt and dust under the chairs, garbage on the floor next to every garbage can I saw, dirty ceiling tiles where the roof looked to have leaked and last but not least… not an air purifier in sight, only little fans. Last I knew we were still in a pandemic and this is a medical office. We have never seen the same dentist twice, seems to be a revolving door of staff. I’ll give them that the dentists do seem knowledgeable and kind… but you will never be able to build a relationship with anyone. Look elsewhere for a dental provider, lots of better ones to choose from.

Dr. Joy takes time to explain and is very calming. I would recommend this practice to anyone who may not like dental visits. They greet you immediately and you dont wait long! By far my BEST dental experience!

My husband and kids walked in looking for a same day appointment and their front desk Dee was very helpful and kind enough to take them in same day. Their dentist and assistant were very knowledgeable and fast that they were able to get us in and out quickly. I will definitively recommend them to the rest of my family.

Great dentist! very friendly staff from the front desk to the assistants, the doctor was great and knew what he was doing.I have no insurance but their fees are reasonable specially if you sing up for their Smiles Card program, definitely coming back and referring more family members.

The office is clean and they follow all precautions with Covid, I love that they text and email the registration forms before coming in, it makes me feel safer because once you get there its pretty easy to be seen. My mom has been experiencing pain in her lower tooth for the past few weeks. Shes had several bad experiences with dental offices, especially as she has Medicare. I had called Shining Smiles and connected my Mom to Jennifer. Jennifer was able to talk to her in a calm, caring and professional manner. They were able to take her in the next day, treat her tooth and everyone was so pleasant to work with.

My family has been coming here for years and from the front of the office to the back staff they were always very welcoming and sweet to my family. We have been through a handful of doctors here but the staff really is why we kept coming back. At our last appointment the manager looked mad and was getting attitude while we were in the waiting room I have never in the 4 years that I have been coming here seen someone talk their co workers in such frustrating way. Not only does the staff look uncomfortable but we felt uncomfortable . I was at my appointment long enough to see what was going on and it just does not seem like the same office I have been going to for years. Its time for my family to go to another office.

Second visit was great specially if you are being taking well with Selena who is very friendly, and of course shout to Dr. Adham who is very informative on how you should take care of your oral health. Ill start by saying that this office is very modern.The newer technology they have is cool.The x-rays were quick and not painful like other offices ive been to.The staff was great.The receptionist and assistant were very friendly. Dr. Adham was very thorough when it came to showing me my x-rays.He was very open to answering all of the questions I had.He made me feel very comfortable while doing my cleaning.Dr. Adham is great cause Ive never had a dentist go over proper flossing and brushing, or how cavities start. I have been coming to Shining Smiles since their office opened in Plainfield and I have always been super pleased with them. All of the doctors I have had there are extremely personable, kind and really care about their patients. You wont see a dentist that just takes a quick seat and looks over your teeth for a few minutes. They want to learn about you and your needs and when they are doing work they make sure you are 100% comfortable the entire time. I would never go to another dentist!

My two boys had never been to the dentist before and were very nervous, but Shining Smiles made it so easy and not scary at all :) The second we walked through the doors, PBS Kids was on the TV in the waiting room, and the boys immediately relaxed a little. Then, they saw Dr. Jacoby and he was great with them. He explained everything before he did it and really put them at ease. It was a great visit!!

From the minute I walked in they were about asking me questions and understanding my needs. The examiner my teeth and gave me a breakdown of what I needed to do with recommendations based on priority. They also did not pressaure me into making a decision without giving me time to thinks about. Dr. Nourahmedi was very professional and was courteous to my needs and very helpful.

I came for an emergency tooth extraction for my son. The dentist was really nice and informative and made sure my son was at ease. For our follow up cleaning, we had the same warm and pleasant experience.

They also have text messaging to remind you of upcoming appointements which is conveniant! The overall rating is MUCH higher than 5 stars in my opinion!
