I have horrible experience. I don’t recommend this to anyone. Do your research before making an appointment. The manager i talked today was nice and the staff and the dentist but my journey with them dont end up satisfying. My expectations with aspen is very far from the reality that im dealing now. If i could turn back time i wont go here to begin with. If i could turn back time i could save thousand of dollar and did not waste it for nothing. I just felt like i throw 3000$ And move on😢.take it or leave it. Thats how it works

My personal experience I am not in a rush to get there and they got all my information and further information about everything that including pricing and loans. I have bad teeth and they are willing to fix the issues. I’m also happy with their service. I noticed on the reviews has people rushing for emergency. It wouldn’t kill anyone to get information right and to be patient with them so they can do their job and/or career. So I am happy with Aspen dental and continue to do my dental with them unless something happens which I feel is not. Thank you.

Incompetent staff. My 9 year old was in excruciating pain and no offices in my area had openings today.. Out of pure desperation and against my better judgment, in order to get him relief, I called Aspen. They waisted 20 minutes of my time taking all of our personal info, insurance etc... and said they had an opening for 10:45 same day but at a location over an hour away. So Im driving there and about half way to this location I receive a phone call saying they should not have scheduled me at that time because they cant see him. How hard is it? How hard is it to figure this out. It is not rocket science. This is why you guys have such a horrible reputation. I hope your business gets shut down for good.

I actually love going to this Aspen Dental! I’ve been coming here for some years now and it really is easier and simpler at Aspen dental. Today they fixed a chipped spot and elongated a tooth and smoothed out another tooth, making my smile look so amazing! They did even better than I ever could’ve imagined and expected and I’m so very thankful! I’m just so very happy with the work they’ve done. These dentists really are like artists with what they do! I feel so excited and happy because they made me look so much better which makes me feel better all the way around! Thank you so much to all of you at the Plainfield IN Aspen Dental!!

I took my grandma today to this dentistry and they have HORRIBLE service!!! We were told to call and they will come out to the car to bring us inside soon.... we waited OVER AN HOUR with NO update on when we would be brought in. My grandma is disabled and cannot sit in a car for this long. When we called to see what was going on after an hour of waiting, Alecia at the front desk was rude and said that there were other people they needed to take care of and they are running behind because they sent an employee home who was SICK.... that is not what you want to hear during a pandemic. Alecia really needs to learn some better customer service.

Previous patient. Had upper denture 6 years agoWent back due to issues and need of dental work and lower tooth pulled, and fitted for new lower plate, denture. Let them know 2 weeks prior to appointment that I had an issue, felt like I had an infection. Did not offer, mention need of antibiotic. Short version, they knew I had previously had throat cancer, which was not seen on a cancer screening provided by aspen. It was a slow growth cancer of the tonsil and upper palate. Day of appointment I was told they could not treat me without a doctor release. After waiting about 2 weeks to be seen, I was told the day of. 2 weeks of pain I my to be told the day of. No offer of antibiotic. On line pricing is a lie. Twice the price in person walk in. Buyer beware. Its a business I understand, not a caring business at all. Not only did they fail to see any sign of cancer, pricing not correct on line, the finance department down right rude. I have insurance and did not need financing I was going insurance and cash. Needless to say getting new set with another more professional group.

Everyone was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable! Im actually excited to go back to the dentist!*Update*8/10/2020- as much as I enjoyed everyone at the office, the work I had done was a disappointment. Ive been in pain and discomfort for weeks, the whole right side of my face & jaw are almost unbearable at times. I tried contacting them Friday after hours and no one called back so I ended up in 24 hr emergency. They wanted to pull it but didnt know which one to pull. Ive seen 3 other dentists in total and come to find out, I still have decay under one of the fillings that was done, causing me problems and pain. I was also informed that since it was a big filling, I should have gotten a crown. There were also small spots on my teeth that should have been removed during the fillings, but are still there. I paid a lot of $ to have 6 fillings done, two days in a row. Since insurance already paid for the teeth that were worked on, I cannot get them fixed unless I pay out of pocket which I cannot afford to do. This is very disappointing. So, needless to say I will not be back. It would be nice to have a refund on the bottom teeth that were filled so I have some $ to pay to get them fixed the right way.

Had a deep cleaning and fillings in the back tooth that they filled was a big holiday so when they filled it now all the sudden they say that the tooth got to come out after all that pain that I went through and the filling came out so how is it my fault that I have to pay to get this tooth pulled out now I got a pay 400 to have that tooth removed and all they were going to do is take $27 off from the feeling it’s a bunch of bull when it’s their fault if that tooth was bad they should’ve had pulled it the first time started going through this pain

Billed for service not rendered. Billed by any avenue they have available. When does a trip to the dentist not include notifying a patient if they have cavities? Why is that an additional fee? Majority of the bill was not covered by insurance. Went in for a cleaning.

These folks are amazing! I called because I was in so much pain I was crying and they were able to get me in within the hour. I arrived to a very caring staff. They took time to discuss my options and and took my pain away. Im going back for full set of dentures and looking forward to it since my initial visit was so quick and painless and I was made to feel so comfortable about the process.

This place was awesome. I went in with extreme pain in my cheek. The doctor was amazing and the staff was friendly. I had pain in my cheek and they did their best to make the xrays pain free. It turns out my issue wasnt tooth related but the doctor still provided great care by giving me the best options moving forward. I followed her advice and my problem is healing nicely. Its not often you get a dental office that will go above and beyond like Aspen dental but Im greatly appreciative of the care I received.

The staff was friendly all around the board and the facility was the best Ive seen yet. They told me where my tooth pain was coming from and gave me what I needed to get rid of the pain. They are very helpful in helping you if you dont have insurance. Im so glad I went to Aspen Dental.

Office did do some work, so that was nice. However, they did cancel on me for original appointment. Also, they numbed my mouth to perform needed work, except then they found out they didn’t have the required materials to perform the work. Just unorganized....and then a temporary crown they put on that day broke off that evening.

I contacted the Aspen Dental emergency phone number for the Plainfield Indiana location as a pre-existing patient. Part of my tooth cracked off and I needed speedy treatment. Aspen staff got me in for treatment quickly and, Dr Frey did an excellent job repairing my tooth. Was able to make a same day appointment for a tooth that needed pulled. Both office and clinical staff was very nice and courteous and the dentist that performed my extraction was in my opinion, the best Ive ever let work on me. My problem with this place is the cost. Even with semi decent insurance I cant afford their proposed treatment plan and I know I can get what I need done for a 1/3rd of the cost.

My original pair of dentures were made from scratch and came out perfectly with a few minor adjustments. Six months later I was asked to come in to have them realigned. If I have been told this would make or break them I wouldn’t of done it. As I’ve spent the last five weeks working with two different offices Avon and Plainfield Indiana. The realignment messed up my bite, were extremely loose, and had a horrible lisp. The Plainfield office decided to upgrade and remake at no additional cost. Since my first initial appointment to remake then I was treated with hostility by the dentist and lab tech. Apparently it was in my chart that I fired my previous dentist this somehow lead them to treat me like I was never going to be happy with a new pair. The reason I know this is because the lab tech in Plainfield threw it in my face as well as the dentist. The pair they made did not fit and it seem like the more I was stated my concerns the uglier their attitudes became and I can’t tell you how many times the word refund came up and that I fired my previous dentist. I tried to smooth over the situation by stating that it’s really none of your business what is not in there is that I tried to throw money at that situation and get then to remake it. They wouldn’t I had no choice but to walk away with a refund and no teeth. They decide to send me to the Avon office for a second opinion. From day one the dentist was very cold, non-compassionate, mention the word refund once again and how I wouldn’t be happy even if they remade them. He even told me he had spoke with the previous dentist. At that point I said to him you know let’s start with a clean slate as I feel I am being treated in a manner that is unfairly. I asked if we could make them from scratch because when I initially came in I didn’t have teeth they had to make them from scratch and I ended up with a pair that I was happy with. The dentist in Avon was very rude and said no he would not be doing that. I went for my wax try they were very big and bulky and did not fit I stated all of those things to the dentist. He told me this was just the wax and they wouldn’t come out like that. Which brings me to today they did come out like that bulky and ill fitting. The lab tech seem to have a little bit of an attitude when I told her they were too big for my mouth I was lisping and they were basically falling out when I spoke or even moved my mouth. She rudely told me there was nothing else she could do?She hadn’t even done anything to them? She sent the Dentist in and stated my concerns. No one checked my bite, gave me a speech test. Nada. The only words were I think you need a refund. I said I’m a little confused because they do not fit at all. He said we’re done and walked out of the room. For five weeks now I have dealt with ill fitting dentures, being treated badly by 4 different “professionals” in 2 different offices, on top of it being a stressful process anyway. I am so upset about how I was treated by these people. I’ve never in my whole life been treated so badly. I think they need to keep in mind they made me a pair that fit in when I was being forced into was walking out with a pair that fit worse than the ones I already had my mouth. Maybe if I would’ve kept my mouth shut and not stating my concerns I wouldn’t of been treated so badly. Not at one time did I get any compassion from either office.

Staff are friendly. However, the hygienist said I had infection. Yet nobody gave me antibiotics for said infection. The next day, I called to see about getting antibiotics and was told Josh, the office manager, would call me back... nothing from them. The fact that there is infection and they caused bleeding in my gums, is concerning because the infection could get into the bloodstream and cause sepsis... a common sense situation, for a doctor. Theyre more of an all or nothing approach. I went in with a tooth bothering me, was given a plan of action, and nothing done about the tooth. Absolutely did nothing, but try to get more money from me. I think Ill look into other offices.

I went in on a Thursday for a new patient checkup, and from the first face to the last, everyone was smiling and extremely friendly. They worked with me to explain all the details of my treatment and cleaning plans, and did what they could to make sure I was paying less, and insurance was covering most of the services.I needed to have 2 teeth extracted, and the got me in the next morning! Once I got there, the first tooth went quick, but the second was giving us trouble. The oral surgeon made sure to wait until the anesthesia kicked in fully before attempting to continue, and when the pressure turned to pain, she was there with the anesthesia again, making sure I was comfortable and ready.Ive never been one afraid to go to the dentist, and the people at Aspen Dental in Plainfield are a big reason why.Edit: 10/21/20I was nervous about going back, as the last extraction I had was a little rough. But Dr Cash was exceptionally polite, and anytime I had a question, he stopped what he was doing to literally listen to my question or comment. Before we began he asked what music I liked, and before the second song was over, I was done!The team yesterday was amazing, and made me feel like I mattered.

I would not suggest going here. I was supposed to get a partial on my lower teeth. Instead of pulling out one tooth the dentist pulled out all of my lower teeth. Yeah, they paid for my lower denture, which I didnt want, but 4 months later I am still dealing with pain. An oral surgeon put in 3 posts and one of them keeps hurting. I dont even know what is going on, if I go back in, but I havent heard anything since December.

Quick, easy, and friendly service. I went in for my initial exam and was quickly signed in. The dentist and hygienist was really nice and informative about how to better take care of my teeth. I think the office was kind of busy that day, but Dr. Sweet took her time explaining to me some of the issues that I may have to deal with in the near future (cavities!!). My first visit was free and I seen by doc sweet she was very nice and my teeth were really bad so they referenced me too the college but she no longer works there dont know what happened but when I called back to see if they could give me more antibiotic and they said that they would have to take my X-ray again and it would cost me 70$ for X-ray again and I was going to come there to get all of them fixed 4 teeth pulled and 3 caps but I well never go back trying to get my money but I do believe that sweet had my best interest so I was going to come back after I had insurance 1/1/15 definitely not going to know

After getting there on time for my appointment, I waited for forever to get called in for a painful X-ray. Told them I was in pain and they said that was their first priority. After over 2 hours I finally see the only doctor and I was given a prescription for pain and antibiotics. I was told that the office manager had to leave for a meeting and will get back to me by phone for financial details. I spent about 3 total hours there and my visit wasn’t even complete. Now i have to take time out of my day to go back there to sign paperwork for a future procedure since the manager wasn’t there when I left. Not cool.

Free exam yea right up till they find you have insurance and then they try there best to max out your dental insurance x-ray this x-ray that an a free exam turns to a bill to your insurance for 1500.00 oh an the office visit unless you just like using up your maximum yearly theyll be glad to accommodate you on your only visit. These people/ offices have to be the most unorganized dentists on the planet. They literally cancelled my appointment 4 times. First they were concerned and wanted a medical release from a doctor, then the changed the procedure schedule, then the dentist was sick, and then today they were concerned about time constraints. Mind you, I was only having one minor (20 minute or less procedure), and two of these times they cancelled an hour or so before we were scheduled, meaning time off, driver, etc., all booked already! Crazy, I have never witnessed such an unprofessional setting. Never again! Dont pay in advance people! Better yet, just avoid this place altogether!

My overall experience was good, except for their pricing is high. And as of today I have had my replacement dentures for 4 days, I picked them up Friday 10/13/17. And have lost one of the back teeth already and I didn’t realize it until I had already swallowed it. I have dental insurance and it still cost me $2000.00 out of pocket so this is unacceptable!

Like most people, i hate going to the dentist and with a childhood of bad hygiene, I tend to be embarassed of my teeth. But, this office made me feel completely comfortable. Dr. Elikofer is exceptional at what he does and he keeps the environment fun. I definitely would recommend this office to anyone that doesn’t have a dentist yet. I went to them 3 weeks ago for a crown fitting and when I returned today all of them remembered me and even remembered that I was leaving for vacation tomorrow. Friendly, welcoming and professional.

Very unhappy! The entire staff is a pleasure except Financial lady (cant remember her name). I had new dentures made & wasnt satisfied so dentist said she would make right. I had Saturday appt @ 11am so husband could help determine if everything looked ok. We arrived on time but financial lady said we were late, missed appt & she had sent person i had appt w/ home. We argued about appt time for bit when she said (w/attitude) that i could wait til after another persons appt & then i could be seen. I explained that coudnt nor would i wait that would just reschedule. she was very unpleasant from then on. On my sons next appt i was discussing making another appt & Financial lady again came forward arguing w/attitude toward me. All i wanted was an appt to which my husband could attend, not an argument every step of road. She wanted me to go into her office,i didnt feel it was a good idea today because i was already heated & didnt want to get any more confrontational. She said she wanted to meet in her office before my next appointment. If I hadnt already used up my allotment of insurance and paid out of pocket already and paid half for what my son needed to fix his broken tooth, then i would be looking for somewhere else to go. If it wasnt for this 1 particular person, then i would suggest this place to everyone i know. BUT because of her, I wouldnt. I dont want any of my friends or family to have to endure the abusive attitude she has. i mean seriously, between insurance and out of pocket, my family would have potentially spent almost $15k at the plainfield indiana location. As of right now, i will only finish getting done what has already been set in motion completed and then go elsewhere to finish, UNLESS something is done. In my past experience of years in customer service industry, just an apology and a smile goes a long way, but some people are to stubborn to admit with something or someone was wronged.

I would not recommend Aspen Dental to my worst enemy. They are out to get your money. First my husband and I go to our first new patient appointment and they do not do a cleaning at that time. They had us in the office for a good 3 hours just for paperwork and x-rays. Then they told us that we have to come back for a cleaning and then another time for a filling. If you have cavities in different quadrants then they will not do more than one quadrant at a time. So in the case of my husband he has gone to the office almost 6 different times for only 3 fillings! That’s crazy! Then they offer that they have flexible hours such as nights and weekends. That is a joke too! They only offer one Saturday and month and they only do fillings or new patient appointment that day because there are no dental hygienists on staff that one day a month. Also the only night they are open late is Tuesdays and they book out months in advance. So for those people that do not work a regular 9a-5p and cannot make it to their cleaning appointment they offer to see reschedule for 2 months out. So two months to be able to get a cleaning so that you can turn around and schedule another appointment for a filling! Then they will not even work with their patients to see them later and work them in between patients that are scheduled later. I work in healthcare and know that it is very possible to work patients is, although not convenient, very possible. So long story short we will not be returning. Aspen Dental in Plainfield, Indiana will no longer be a place that we attend for our dental needs.

Recently I had good cleaning from Katherine but everything else has been awful. My wife was getting a cavity filled and had to get poked 3 times to get the anesthesia right! They numbed half her face! Literally her eyeball was numbed. This was the best of the experiences.The office staff is getting better but was terrible. My daughter had 4 appointments canceled on us with no priority given her in rescheduling. In the end she didnt see a dentist for a year. Now she has a cavity they missed a year ago because they relied only on X rays and not 9th actually checking for soft spots. They even admitted to not doing the X rays right a year ago because she is a child and they werent equipped! This cavity is now bad enough she may need a root canal. She is seven and brushes every night! The pediatric dentist said they clearly missed it and should have referred her a year ago!For me I had the worst. A year ago I want in after a 2 year lack of care. I had some cavities. The dentist knew by xray that one might be too deep to fill and may need more help (she admitted that later). When I left I had constant pain that got worse and worse. It took 3 more consults and visits before they referred me for a root canal. This took 3 months from the original appointment. The dentist admitted that is probably what I needed in the beginning! Very painful and frustrating.

I would not recommend Aspen Dental, I was told I had to have all my wisdom teeth pulled, I needed a root canal which Id be charged 3000 for so I decided to go to mooresville family dentistry to get a second opinion and they laughed, I do not need my wisdom teeth pulled, I do need a rout canal but theyre only charging me $945, Aspend Dental is so overpriced and the wait is horrendous!! if you can, find a family dentistry, mooresville family dentistry is great and the staff is extremely helpful and so nice and they get you in on time!

I had dentures made by aspen dental. It was the most horrible medical procedure Ive ever experienced. They threw away my medicine, made me leave the office during surgery and go to another office to finish it and did not update my file with pertinent information. Worst dental office ever.

My dentist was on vacation and Aspen accepted me by phone on Saturday as an emergency first thing on Monday morning for a tooth giving me much pain. An xray revealed the tooth had cracked and needed extraction which Dr. Bostos did within the hour. The cost was discounted to less than I had paid for such an extraction elsewhere. I asked for a discount from the first price given. Under the circumstances, I was treated professionally and very well which I appreciated. Aspen will remain my back up dental service in emergencies.

My first experience with Aspen Dental was in 2011 at the Avon, Indiana office....I decided to go with implanted full uppers and lowers...it went great and I was very satisfied with my Comfylyte dentures for the first 5 years, unfortunately a crack developed in the top acrylic, it was still under warranty and needed to be replaced. Avon no longer had an implanted denture dentist so I was sent to the Lawrence office. That was a long ride from Avon so I asked if there was any other locations closer to home, there was, in Plainfield. My initial experience there was good, the doctor was personable and very capable and made me a new set of uppers that seemed perfect, until the teeth started to pop out....on 5 separate occasions...different teeth every time. It was decided that something went wrong in the process of making this set so the doctor decided to re-do the whole process from scratch, and I was satisfied with his decision. the first wax try in was not right, neither was the second, third or fourth, by that time the doctor had left the practice and Plainfield no longer had an implanted denture doctor, finally the fifth time the wax try in was good, unfortunately, by that time the uppers that were made to replace the original set had lost another 2 teeth, another appointment was made to reset those two teeth but now that my wax try ins were good they had no doctor to do the fitting when the denture came back.....heres where it goes really bad, so the current manager (whatever his title is) at the Plainfield office tells me that in order to get these fitted Ill have to go to this office on the other side of Indy.....I expressed my disdain at the distance and asked why we couldnt do it at the Lawrence office I was originally referred to....he told me that I was free to set that up for myself.....myself? I wasnt very happy with that response and asked if he wasnt supposed to be the one setting this up. His response was, he hadnt been paid for either of the sets.....I reminded him of the warranty and he blurted out something about Aspen being owned by individual dentists or something to that affect and that I was being rude. I emphatically was not being rude at all....a bit unsatisfied with all Ive been through, perhaps...but not rude. I told him this was unsatisfactory to me and he told me not to come back....I left...no repair on my existing denture....no prospect of getting the new one fitted and looking for a new dentist NOT within the Aspen Dental family....because of that one guy, Ill never go back. I wanted you to know, I will seek to re-coop the cost of a new set of dentures from another dentist if this can not be rectified, reasonably from your offices.

I was a patient at this location since 2016 and the service was great at one time, I went in today because a temp lower partial I hade made by them was rubbing and caused a small ulcer in my mouth, last year I went in for the same issue and they did a soft liner and everything was great, so I thought I would go back agin for same thing because my funds are limited and I know I still have a lot of work to be done before I can get a perm partial. The staff for the most past was very friendly today, the hygenist was very nice and explained everything very well and was very polite, The dentist was also very nice he was direct and explained things in detail as to why I needed to have other work done before getting a perm partial, however ther reason I went was to simply have a soft liner done to stop the rubbing and that was not done, they did grind down an area on the partial and we shall see how it works I was then taken to Josh the office managers office where things went down hill, he started with the sales pitch right away rather then doing anytype of warm up to calm me down at all and I informed him I didnt have over $3000 at the moment all I wanted was something to be done about the rubbing at the moment and that I would have to save to do anything else and I just wanted to get the soft liner done at moment (I know its not a perminate fix). I know I was upset but his attitude sucked to be honest and I will never go there again due to him. I am a manager for a very large orginazation and have been in guest relations for years he by far is one of worst people I have ever dealt with. To the rest of the staff I give great credit as for him he is reason I will never go back there again. reading othert reviews after this I see his name comes up in a few other bad experiances. I think they should look into replacing him

Lost my x-rays within a week. I went in for free x-ray, called and checked their pricing with other dentists, When i called back to schedule appointment time they had filled the time i needed so i asked them to transfer file to another aspen and boom bam, no where to be found.

The customer service here is exceptionally poor. During the first consultation visit, the technician performing the x-rays was very rough with the patient. The patient was violently coughing when the spacers were harshly shoved into her mouth. After the x-rays were taken, the dentist spent a few minutes with the patient telling her that she needs a deep cleaning as opposed to a regular cleaning that she originally came for. The did not take any quantitative measurements of her gum to determine why she needed that. When the staff was asked to schedule a regular cleaning instead, they said it would not help and refused the patients request. The patient was then ushered into the office mangers office who proceeded to give her an exorbitant estimate of all the work they recommended she get. In the estimate there was a charge for an expensive unnecessary electric toothbrush. The estimated costs were not well explained and certainly were not correct since no pre-approval claims were sent to the insurance to determine actual out of pocket costs. They seemed quite intent and almost forceful in collecting a deposit for any work ahead of time. After several days, the patients daughter got in touch to follow-up about whether they had received some urgent responses from the patients physicians concerning medical clearances for the dental work. Aspen Dental did not call to follow-up with the patent when they received the responses. The patient went to the office to sign a release for her medical records, but the receptionist did not provide all that was requested and refused to call the patients daughter at the patients request to make sure the patient was given all of the necessary records. After back and forth phone calls, the patient requested that Aspen provide digital copies of the x-rays the patient had done there as well as the correspondences from the patients medical providers. They proceeded to email the physicians medical clearances, but only a fax cover page was sent. We were told the x-rays would take several days to send! Only after the patients daughter went to the office in person was she able to retrieve the documents, albeit very unpleasantly. The office manager, Joshua Ward, handed her the documents and told her he would like her to leave. The receptionist at the front desk ignored the patients daughter, and laughed very derisively at certain moments. In summary, the staff here is NOT professional and is extremely rude. All they care about is collecting money, and customer service is almost certainly neglected. Do not go here. Spend your money and time at better dental practices where you get exceptional customer service, are treated courteously, and receive better justification for any recommended dental work.

Drove to Indianapolis for a walk in emergency dental visit Thursday morning from the Terre Haute location that would not take me because they wanted to close early... Go figure! Back to the Plainview office, I explain that my tooth broke and am in a very high level of pain. Her reply was to put me on a standby for next Tuesday... Second time this happened today with Aspen Dental so I politely ask why they advertise that they accept emergency walk ins and want to put me on a tentative if someone cancels 5 days from now... Her answer was that they already had an emergency walk in today. So, I then ask what she considers an emergency that could wait 5 days on a maybe... Perhaps they should reconsider their definition of walk in emergency and whether they should continue to advertise that way... Extremely disappointed and will NEVER call on these guys again. Emergency or otherwise!
