I’d avoid going to this place in favor of the other Pennzoil in Cranberry Township. The atmosphere was disorganized and unprepared. They didn’t have the filter in stock for my (relatively common) car, and seemed unprepared to deal with a Diesel engine. This wouldn’t have been the end of the world, however, the entire experience was made worse when I heard one of the technicians call my car a “piece of s*** Volkswagen.” Come on, do better. Save your time and head to the dealership, it’s basically the same price.

Technicians were disinterested. Unclear explanation about service options and final cost. They didnt complete all the points listed in the final invoice. Seemed to have stated completed without actually doing so. Would have been a great experience otherwise, had they explained better and thoroughly completed the checklist. Overall an average visit experience.

This location does not do what they say (or put in writing) that they would do. Technicians dont do all of the points on the check list (see their website and/or the Service Check List they give you at the end of your visit). They dont take Pennzoils websites coupon of $10 off an oil change- they says they will however give you $5 off your visit since they dont take that coupon (and of course, why wouldnt they take that coupon?)- but note, at the end of your visit, they dont actually do that, then when you call them on it, they offer to just make it right by giving you $5 off your next visit. And all of this is a long and laborious process with the manager. (One caveat- I did notice a sign, that said something like text this number to get money off your next visit- not helpful for current visit, and the manager never mentioned the sign or this option). But because they dont actually do the items on the check list- I didnt want to come back. Therefore the $5 off next visit does no good. Additionally, you also have to drive your car into the bay- yourself. No getting out and being in the coffee area, nope. BTW- we have 3 cars, and it is our experience here all the time. At first we just thought, new boss, new techs, etc. Its this way every single time, never changes or gets better. Buyer beware. There are too many other -good- options within 2 miles. (and those other options take their own coupons and actually do all the items on the check list)

I took in my vehicle to get inspected not expecting any issues, they call me back saying I have suspension problems that will cost a pretty penny to fix. I take the car home to have my former mechanic of a dad to look at it and he finds nothing wrong with the car, we got it inspected at another shop no issues. Its sad that a place would try and rip off a young kid, but I guess it is no surprise. Ill never take my car here again.

Stopped through for a basic oil change. Lube tech pulled my air filter and tried to upsell me on a new filter. (I own an automotive based business and had just replaced it myself last month)I explained this to him and said Id just like the basic oil change, no add ons.He walked off complaining and then was making comments to the tech in the pit about If he owns a auto business, why he here getting his oil changed.They went back and fourth like school children while I just sat there waiting to pay.1. I dont do fluid changes in my high end detailing shop as I dont deal with disposal and clean up2. I normally tip the oil change guys $20 each. Simply dont disrespect your customersWill not be back and will refer my clients elsewhere

It’s 8:22 am-this place is not open. I’ve been sitting here for 20 minutes waiting. Their sign out front & their website says they open at 8- I have NEVER had a normal or decent experience here-this is par for the course.

I visited Pine Creek Pennzoil on December 14,2020 @ 1:54 PM for an oil change. The service there was excellent and staff treated me nice.It was the fastest oil change I have ever received and they still checked the air in my tires. I will be going back there!

Got me in and out and they were friendly enough especially since it was like 95 degrees out if it was me I wouldnt have been friendly at all

Tom and his staff are great and very knowledgeable about fixing and repairing cars. Prices are much cheaper than going to the dealer

These guys are great, youre in and out in no time, they check your tire pressure and wash your windows as an extra. i do a lot of driving and stop here almost monthly with never any problems

Took the car in for service on 4/13/2020 and really got screwed. They didnt put the dipstick in right and it blew oil all over the engine compartment.now it smells like burnt oil inside the car. Then they said checked the air pressure in the tires but I still have a alarm for low tire pressure. Said they reset the oil minder bit its still on. I called Pennzoil and the lady said they could only give me the phone number for BBB that they dont own the stores just the name. The stores are independently own. Guess we had our last screwed over service at Pennzoil. Pennzoil is owned by Shell.

Its difficult to find a mechanic you can trust. However, Ive been going here for a few years now. I am happy with their service & am confident in their assessment of my vehicles needs. Hes a real nice, down to earth guy too.

Came here for an oil change. They tried to up charge me for wiper blades that had just been replaced. Also conveniently forgot to tell me they needed to replace my oil filter even though they had the time to inform me about the blade upcharge. Quick service, but I wouldn’t trust them a second time.

Fast service. Very friendly. FREE COFFEE AND POPCORN! What more could you ask for!? I use Pennzoils because I love that they offer free fluid top off (including washer fluid) for 3,000 miles after your oil change. In the winter I go through washer fluid like its going out of style because of the salt on the roads getting all over my windshield. I like that I can just stop into any Pennzoil and have them fill it up for free. Unfortunately my car only requires an oil change every 7,000 miles so for the last 4,000 Im on my own.

My dad always told me When you find a good mechanic you can trust, dont ever go anywhere else Nothing describes Tom better. This place has kept my three late model cars on the road for over 6 years now. They are fair and honest. I once came in almost one year after a repair and he remembered fixing it before and called the warranty on the part and ate the repair. Quality man. Quality business. They dont make shops like this anymore.

Nice place. Full service and a good price, but customer service was pretty rude. Forgot to give the keys since I’m new to the whole “push to start” aspect of my car and the guy rolled his eyes at me. Then he came into yell at me because my phone is hooked up to my car and i was receiving a phone call. Told me to disconnect my phone because they were going to be turning my car on and off. Totally understandable, just wasn’t very kind in his delivery.

Dont go to this place for an oil change!! They charge $65 for a synthetic blend oil change. The Pennzoil I normally go to in McKeesport only charges $40 for the same synthetic blend oil. They told me they are allowed to make up their own prices. I called Pennzoil customer service line to complain about the price difference and they too said they are allowed to set their own prices. 😳 I also had a coupon for $15 off a penzoil oil change but they told me they only accept coupons up to $5 off. And told me I should be happy with that since its better than nothing off 🤨

Tom is the best mechanic I’ve ever had. Will not take my vehicle anywhere else. He will make time for you after hours or on saturdays to accommodate your schedule. Very reliable and trustworthy man. The oil changes are usually completed between 5 and 25 minutes depending on the number of cars ahead of you. Friendly staff for the most part and reasonable prices on par with every other place in the area. Highly recommended.

Terrible service. 10 minute oil change is a scam. Sat there for 45 minutes and was the only customer for 10 minutes in the garage. They put my car outside in 30 degree snowing weather while I sat inside for a half hour. Not to mention they didn’t roll up my car window while it sat outside without running. Never going back and would recommend any other service center.

I was on my way home from work, heard something fly off from under my car and then it was making a clicking noise. I pulled into Pennzoil to see if they could take a look and make sure it was safe to drive home.They were VERY nice and told me the mechanic would be able to check it out for me. He drove it around to listen to what I heard, took his time with it on the lift and inspected every aspect.It turns out a bolt came out of my mudflap and it was flapping around all crazy. Thank god it was something so simple. I didn’t catch the mechanic’s name unfortunately, but he was AWESOME! I couldn’t thank him enough for his time and for fixing it!I will definitely be returning in the future!

Always fast good service

It is quick, but definitely not inexpensive. You pay for the convenience of being here 10 to 15 minutes. Other places are a lot less money but you could be there for an hour or so regardless.

Some staff are nice some arent. Fast oil change but might go to other garages for better customer service.

Was here last night after stopping somewhere else to try to get an oil change. The first place I went didnt have the tool to remove my oil filter. Somewhat understandable, I drive a Fiat, it can throw some garages for a loop due to its small size.The guys at Pennzoil were able to get me in right away, and got straight to work. Two guys working ground level and one underneath.No one at the front desk while I was inside, could have used a moment of explanation to verify what oil they were going to use but otherwise they had their system down.Clean bathroom, it smelled fine, the TV playing news, and enough seating.They also sold RainX wiper blades, which I needed new ones so that was convenient.They finished 10-20 mins later and it was fast enough that I was worried that they were going to tell me they they too couldnt remove my filter. But no, they were just that quick.Pleasant guys, average price. Wish I had cash on me so I could have tipped them.

I have only had great service here. We have two older Hondas and they (Tom and his crew) have provided consistent, honest, service for the past few years. It took me about a year to find them (after moving here and missing my old mechanic quite a bit...) after going to various other garages, mechanics, and dealers in the area. On more than one occasion, I have received a call from my wife, stating how grateful she is for these guys--thats a big deal for me. They have always been professional, helpful, patient, and understanding. And the little things they do go a very long way--last Christmas season they left a mug with candy and Christmas wishes in the console after a routine oil change! We wont take the vehicles anywhere else.

They changed my oil quickly. The employee that was supposed to drive my car into the bay didnt know how to drive stick and had to get someone else to pull my car in.

The last two times I got oil changes here my oil light came on way before 3,000 miles were up. I took it elsewhere and my car had literally no oil in it at 2,000 miles. This place will rip you off. There are dozens of other options. Go to any of those instead.

They say they do inspections but what they actually do is drive the car up the road to someone else to do the inspection, and then charge an additional fee for the service.

Its just like all the other oil changing places they always try to tell you somethings wrong with your vehicle when there isnt nothing wrong with it just to make that extra money.
