Had my inspection done there and did not have to wait all day like other places.. change my brakes, and 2 months later, they were squealing, no problem they took it right away change the brakes, and again did not have to wait all day.. also the guys there are fantastic and Curtis.. will bring my vehicle back there...

I scheduled an appointment. When I went to drop the car off for the appointment they said they didn’t have time for it. I had to leave my car for a whole day. I had a couple things wrong but my biggest issue was the ABS light was on. They called to tell me what was wrong with the breaks and I agreed to the work. When I went to pick up the car I paid almost $600 and the break light was still on. The front desk girl said she didn’t know anything about it and we would have to wait until the manager was in the next day. When we called he said they didn’t run the diagnostics for that issue. They offered to run it for free, but said it might need additional work. They already had the car for 1.5 days at this point I’m not going to wast my time for them to still probably not fix the problem.I used this same location years ago with no issues but would not recommend now.

So on 6/13/2020, Firestone Complete Auto Care Banksville Road Pittsburgh PA charged me $36.98 for new wiper blades and didn’t even replace them. I have pictures to prove it . Hey Firestone, I’m glad you think that in a pandemic I have money to waste. I also paid for new parts, this make me wonder if new parts were even purchased and put into my car because I asked for a receipt of the purchase of the new parts and you denied me that right. I don’t know if you just don’t care or you super unfocused but I’m highly disappointed.

Cant say enough good things about this store! Everyone is so helpful and truly care about YOU and tell you things straight up about your car. Always willing to go the extra mile, because of Firestone I am confident in my knowledge about my car! Anything happens they can fit you in the fastest in the city!

Went for a oil change .. the very thing they asked me .. what oil does it take ..... now I know all cars different I understand.. but wouldnt that be something they should have quick access to ..if maybe some prior knowledge to working on cars.

I booked an appointment on 26 December 2020 at morning 7 and was there on time. It seems that they closed the store for whole week and no one bothered to inform customer that they are closed. They called back after a week she store was reopened. Now they scheduled the appointment at 7 am on 1st Jan 2021. I spoiled my sleep and was there at 7. The store door had notice that store open at 8 o clock and then I came back home. When I went back there at 8, the receptionist didn’t open the door until 8:15 and showed me hands/faces as if I am there to borrow something. When I called him, he picked the call and asked me to be on hold. And then disconnected the call in 5-6 seconds . I watched all this from transparent door. Finally he unlocked the door at 8:15 .When I narrated the whole thing happened with me, the person told me that we will not take your car and asked me to leave from there. Definitely I am not going back to store again but this is the worst experience I ever had with Firestone.

Firstly I schedule after noon Appointment before one week before, when I tried to drop of car and appointment scheduled for morning timeSecondly i dropped car for emission and state inspection . When they are checking they told to replace rear breakers and pads .. I feel too costly don’t have time to check with other auto repair it costed me more then front break repairs I repaired front ones cost of 250$ at monro muffler, But in Firestone costed me 400$ looks so expensive Disappointed with Firestone prices.Never want to go Firestone again in future and no recommendations too !Disappointed with prices!

We took a Jeep Commander in for inspection emission and it needed a CAT Back, no problem. We come back leave the shop the check engine light came on and it was smoking, we brought it back. They said they left a sticker on the exhaust and there was a code for speed control causing the light to come one. It was not on before or we could not have gotten the emission sticker! I offered they fix it or we are taking ti to the dealer. Needless to say it is on the way to the dealer. It is no coincidence I am now having problems when I did not have any problems before we brought it in! I do not trust them try your luck if you dare. I am tired of getting ripped off by automotive shops in PGH.

I have had a great experience here over the last few years. This location has great management, and I always appreciate their honesty. I recently moved and now live closer to another location but will continue to bring my car to this location because of the service I’ve received.

They tried to upscam me from what i came in for saying I needed an axle replaced. Took my car somewhere else for another opinion and got it fixed for cheaper and by skilled people

This was the 3rd Firestone in the area I called to find the tire to fit my vehicle, and third time was the charm. I called in the afternoon and was able to get in within a half hour. Price was right where it should have been and took about an hour to do. There is a small set of shops in walking distance that you can get a bite to eat, grab a coffee or get a hair cut like I did.Car drove like a dream and Im very happy with the work done.

Took car in for continuous suspension noise. Firestone stated everything looked good and tight in the suspension. They even claimed to have driven the vehicle and said there was no noise. I took the car to the dealer for an oil change without even asking them to look at the suspension and they noted that I should change the stabilizer bar links. How could Firestone state that everything looked good based on this picture?--Update--They called me after I created the post and stated I would receive a free oil change for my trouble. They never sent me the information for the free oil change....

Ive used Firestone complete auto for some time now. It was hard finding a reputable and honest mechanic, but Firestone really does a nice job. They always get my cars in there quick. They have a waiting room with TV and coffee for quick repairs and make drop off easy for longer repairs. Ive found their prices to be fair, and their service is great. Theyve serviced my SUV for the past 5 years, and im coming up on 160,000 miles - so theyve done a great job!

My normal mechanic couldnt schedule an appointment for me to get my inspection in time. Called Firestone up and they scheduled an appointment first thing Monday. Inspection went great, they honor their appointments, even found a nail in my tire and repaired it for a reasonable cost. I was only coming in to get my inspection, but with the prompt service I just might consider making this place my new go-to mechanic.

I am really upset for their service. The stuffs are very rude. They damaged my car intentionally. My car has AC issues. I gave them to investigate the issues only. Once they done, I returned my Car to home then I saw smoke is coming out from front. I called them & came back to them, they asked me to drop off for investigating the issues. Later I went to pick my car, I saw my car was not starting. They checked again but no right answer from them why it isn’t starting on. Once asked the receptionist guy, he very rudely behaved with me. They damaged my car due to I told them I am not repairing my car by them.

Seems to me that they do whats best for your vehicle. Safety reasons and things that could go wrong down the road they will let you know in advance

Services efficient and high quality and unpretentious. Not the place to go for cheap work, but for good work at fair pricing this Firestone has experienced techs and is great.

We were customers with this location for years. I took both my wifes car and my van. For the first few years service was good and if they messed up with a repair I was always told to bring it back in and they fixed the problem. It took 4 visits for them to get a new radiator installed correctly! Replaced the old radiator but the new one leaked. Brought it back and they installed a new one. Van overheated then they installed a new thermostat but didnt tighten up a screw meaning I had to come back again. The van still smells of antifreeze but they never could find the leak. The last straw was with a life-time alignment I took my van in last year and asked them to rotate the tires. One tire had a small mark on it and the tire was in the same location after the rotation. Feeling they just forgot to rotate the tires I decided to give them another try. 6 months later I marked the tires, went back in and asked for an alignment and tire rotation. None of the tires were moved. I called to complain and was questioned by one of the desk attendants how I knew the tires werent moved. They replaced the exhaust system and 2 years later I needed to have it done again. But this time I took it to another company that has high reviews (one of the reviews is ours) and I was given a year guarantee and the owner said most of our replacements parts will last at least 5 or more years. We have given Firestone thousands of dollars over the years buying tires that never lasted and having all our repairs and inspections done by them. Most of the time I made my way into the service area to give the mechanic a tip for his work. We were on a first name basis with them and I thought I could trust them. I was wrong.

I went for tires I felt safe going here because one day I had a screw in my tire and they repaired it and did not try to sell me new tires. I trusted them. I didnt read the reviews before going only saw the first one now I wish I would have read them all. They told me I only needed two tires BUT then told me how my spark plugs needed changed and I needed aligned and they would tune it up. That tune up and new plugs has my van hesitating at red lights and idling rough. I called two days later which was a Friday and was told to bring it in on Saturday at 2:00. I brought it in at 2:00 and was told they were very busy could I come back another day. I asked if it was hurting my van and was told if the engine light was not on it was fine. By the time I returned home the check engine light did come on I called to see if I could bring it in and was told no one was there that could work on it. This is very upsetting to me the van was running just fine before the tuned it and they really are not in a big hurry to right their wrong. Tomorrow I am taking it back to be repaired I will do another review and decide how many stars to give this business. So far all of the negative reviews are coming true in my association with Firestone.I am going to update my review it this is now Monday and I have my van back and running fine again. Firestone has credited me back some of the cost from changing the spark plugs. It was a cracked new spark plug that was causing all of the commotion. I dont think I will be in any hurry to ever return there again but I did want to change my review. They are a very busy business if all of their dealings went as wrong as mine they would not have as many customers so I am going to think I am one of the few cases that went wrong. I never was shown any disrespect of any kind by any of the employees and Chris went above and beyond to make sure it was done to my satisfaction. He did offer to get me a rental car since my van was still not ready on Sunday and he picked me up on Monday when the van was ready. So to be fair I am going to give them three stars.

I was so crabby and upset that my car was in the shop on Memorial Day. But they understood my frustration and ignored my big baby fit. I was out the door in time for my picnic. Who does that on a holiday? Firestone does. They always pull through for me. I have been going for 15 years and I am always satisfied.

My wife and I were traveling through Pittsburgh moving our daughter to Washington DC when our car had an issue. This facility was our closest option so we pulled in. The service advisors gave us an inspection almost on the spot and told us what the problem was. We were on a tight schedule but somehow they managed to fit us in on a Saturday, repaired the car in time for us to move on, and under the price quoted! I cant say thank you enough for all the help and assistance they gave us that weekend. Car runs great and was able to complete the remaining 1,000 miles without an issue. We really appreciated their assistance.Wont likely be in Pittsburgh again but if I was, they would be our car care people going forward.

Went for a battery replacement. They ordered the wrong battery and the correct battery ended up being $90 more. They gave me a 10% discount though. Other than that, service was ok. Wait wasnt too long. Would reccomend.

Me and my friend just got a flat tire on our way and stopped at this location because it was near. And they are still open, half an hour until close based on their business hours on google and OPEN sign at the door on!!! But apparently all the staff inside waiting to leave the place and not gonna help my flat tire issue, this guy told me he shut down everything inside and cant help me. Listen man YOU CANT SHUT DOWN anything before you close. Or first turn off ur OPEN sign or put a sign at door say you dont take customer after 5

I went here to get my tires switched (from winter to all season tires). Front desk was friendly, and they did the job within two hours, so I left and came back within reasonable time. They offered the cheapest price to switch tires at the time, so I was happy.

A few months ago, i was charged $120 to replace a bad tire pressure sensor, which didnt fix this problem. Made an appointment on Monday to get the car inspected and 2 new tires. I was told to bring it in on Thursday before 9. I was there before 8:30. I get a call at 4PM telling me that the are JUST NOW getting ready to put the tires on. Why did i bother making the appointment that far in advance? This is the second time you scheduled me in, and im waiting and waiting and waiting, like you werent expecting me. Its taken over 8 hours for a routine inspection (all i needed was a tail light) and 2 tires? I bothered calling ahead because why?

DO NOT GO HERE!!! If you care about how your vehicle looks and drives stay away. Left grease all over my wheels, stacked wheel weights in highly visible spot, and then they fell off, refused to reset my TPMS, and cross threaded the center caps on my wheels. Now I have to have all of the work redone by a quality shop, buy new center caps and drill and tap new holes in my wheels to correct the cross threading.

Good tire and alignment shop. Sometimes are a bit overloaded with work to get you in and out quickly though.

Everyone was very friendly and very efficient. My tech Devin was excellent and very informative! Id definatly recommend them to everyone!

STAY AWAY!Thought it was safe to take a car and get an alignment here but no! I just asked for a factory alignment within factory specs but they could not accomplish this even tho they said they did. The camber in the rear of my car was way off from where it shouldve been. I will never bring my car back here. I took it to another shop to get aligned and they were astonished at what had been done. I asked the technician working on my car to print out the spec sheets once it was complete to show the before and after and the sheets were wrong, I honestly dont know how they couldve been wrong but they were. Not only did they lie to me about the specs being wrong but also overcharged me for the alignment. If you cant do something tell the customer first and dont lie about it, but they couldnt seem to understand that. If I could rate a 0 star I would. Not to mention the second place I took my car to told me that the bolts had been hand tightened and not torqued down like they shouldve. And when I took the car in it was pulling to the right a little and with an alignment that shouldve been fixed but no, they couldnt accomplish that either.PLEASE STAY AWAY!

I just walked in this place, i have flat tire issue. The guy told me he already shut down everything, its 5:40. They all waiting in there for 6 to go home and not taking care of the customer. Ridiculous! I dont know why the hell are they waiting, just turn off the lights and leave man

A water main broke and a chunk got stuck in my tire. I stopped here to get one tire and the guy at the counter said because my car was AWD, I HAD to buy 4 new tires. I said so your telling me its all or nothing. He said yes so I said goodbye and went to Monroe. Now I do understand having uneven tred on my tires will be detramental in the long run but at the top of the month just after paying all my utilities and rent I didnt have $500 dollars to spare. Didnt matter, only thing that mattered was 4 tires now. No thats horrible lets do one now to get you back driving and come back to get the other 3 done. So if I could do -5 stars that would be my score

I called to schedule service. The female that answered the phone asked me to hold. After not coming back to me for over 10 minutes i hang up and called again. She again asked if i can hold. I told her ive been waiting for 10 minutes. She said she was busy and asked if i can hold. I said no, i will go somewhere else. She said okay and hang up. Didnt ask for a number to call me back, no apology, no suggestion to call a little later. Well, there are plenty other places to give business to.

Ive always had good service with Firestone (this location). Ive had to wait, and Ive quick service, just depends on whats wrong. The staff (especially Scott) works with me, giving me any current deals to cut back on costs.No complaints, highly recommend.

While my experience happened over a year ago, I felt that it was important that I make it public. In May 2017, I went to this location to have my 2009 Toyota Corolla inspected. When I received a call saying my car needed a long list of repairs adding up to thousands of dollars, I was shocked . I rarely use my car, and had gotten routine maintenance from the dealership just 6 months prior. I declined the services, stating I was planning to trade my car in and didnt want to invest the money (mainly just trying to be polite), and the salesperson jeered at me, saying that the dealership would rip me off and that his mechanics are just as good at Toyotas. Offended, I declined more forcefully, and he left it alone, saying my car would pass without the repairs. Well, lo and behold, I take my car in for an inspection this year at a locally-owned shop, and the mechanic says theres absolutely nothing wrong with my car. I imagine many people have been swindled by this place, so please consider yourself warned.

Man they do the work and they do it will but dont expect anything done quickly or on time. If they tell you an eta for when something is gonna be done add 2 hours to that easily. Ive had multiple services done here and everytime it takes ALL day. Im talking basic work oil changes, new tires and breaks.

I stopped in just to have a set of rear tires installed. They asked if I needed other services done. I told told them I have mechanics in the family and I only wanted tires. They had me sitting for hours and saying suggesting service. Even though I told them mutipal times that i needed none. They told me I was low on oil, even though I filled it a week earlier. Not only that, the price of the tires was 20% higher than the price quote I got over the phone. Buyer beware if you plan on coming here.

Just be careful if youre a woman or have limited knowledge of cars; they will try like crazy to take advantage of you. When I took my car in last, they told me I needed a laundry list of services. I had no idea what they were talking about, so I asked my dad to talk to them. They changed their story dramatically and rescinded their suggestions of $300 worth of recommended services.When I I went to pick my up my car, and incredulous woman was complaining to the clerk of the same problem--being taken advantage of and treated terribly.

Ive been bringing a number of vehicles here for service over the last few years. Never had an issue, always easy to schedule and good work done. Recently I scheduled an appointment only to show up and they didnt have me in the system. On top of that what I needed done wasnt available due to the recent flooding damaging equipment (understandable). That being said if the incompetent individual would of stated this I could of scheduled somewhere else. This cost me a days worth of work and cost of a rental vehicle that wasnt needed due to them not being able to service mine. My personal and company vehicles wont be back to this location.

I went to this place after fixing an appointment and also calling them before for state inspection. When I went at 9 am they told me it would take 4 hours and still cant guarantee if they can take me in today. These people just want to make a lot of money off you, i was thinking, being a loyal customer for over 5 years they would value my business but no....they just want to make a lot of money off you by recommending stupid services!

I went to get an oil change both wipers working they asked me do I want my wipes charged because the driver side wiper and filter changed I declined. Two days later it rained now my wiper on the passenger isnt working at all !! I will not be returning again very disappointed never had a problem before.

Service might be ok, but... when I got service, They offered me credit card and they told me, it is not credit card like regular credit cards, can be use only with Firestone(true) and it is very SOFT(absolutely false) but unfortunately, it was the hardest inquiry during my credit history, if they were honest, they couldnot lie me, if there is no honesty, there is no respect too, this one star for their disrespectfull job

These guys do not complete the work you ask them to, and they say they completed. They argued with me that tires were rotated when they were not, my front tires are much more worn so its obvious rotation was not done. Additionally they tried to charge me for TPMS sensors on a vehicle which doesnt have TPMS sensors.

They fixed my tire quickly and for less than $30.00

I bought 4 blizzak tires from this place, they are selling tires more expensive price, I have paid 783 dollars and my friend just got the same blizzak winter tires for 664 plus warranty and alignment included for two years from Costco Whole. It is always better to save some money. Think about that.

Ive had several problems with service and customer service at this location before, this time was a matter of the staff not adjusting the rear camber on an alignment agreement car which resulted in the destruction of my rear tires, i was forced to purchase 2 new tires when mine went flat due to wear completely through the tread and belt. i went to the banksville road location in pgh pa which made the mistake and was told that the manager would fix the problem. the manager was then unavailable to talk to me for a week and ultimately when i went back at the time i was instructed, he had gone on vacation for another week.

Worst customer service Ive received in a long time. The guy behind the counter told me I didnt have an appointment when I did. I tried to remain kind and pretend perhaps I had made the mistake, showed him my confirmation email which really seemed to set him off, and he told me he couldnt help me until closing time anyways. I agreed, which really seemed to agitate him, he asked what was wrong with my car and I said I had a slow leak due to a nail in my tire and needed it plugged. Without even looking he told me I had to buy all new tires to which I said I didnt he refused to even look at my car unless I agreed to buying new tires... Its a simple fix, I went to Sears in South Hills Village where they fixed it in under 20 minutes for $19.99.

I drive this car almost regularly, so I know that the front axle is making a bit of creaking sound due to rust issues. I gave them my car at the end of the day (around 4 pm) for inspection and until 15 mins before they close (which is 7 pm), they never bothered me to call.I called them up to inquire whats the status. They said Sir - we were going to all you and wanted to inform you that you have to do some work on the car in order to pass the inspection. When I asked them what all things need to be done and how much that amounted to, they said ..... and its coming to $1300 .. oh no, just a moment, its $1203.65 incl of taxes. I almost jumped out of my window, as none of my previous mechanics told me any issues with the car.I was so worried that I made an appointment with one of trusted mechanics, but wanted to sell of my car because of this huge cost (my mistake). Somehow, I waited for my mechanic to give me an appointment and when I took it to them, they passed the inspection like nothing ever happened to my car (as usual).They gave me estimates as below:-1. Inner tie rod end (left inner) - $89.99 (Actual price on rock auto is $7.65)2. Inner tie rod end (right inner) - $89.99 (Actual price on rock auto is $7.65)3. Left CV Complete Assembly - $159.99 (Actual price on rock auto is $50.99)4. Right CV Complete Assembly - $159.99 (Actual price on rock auto is $50.99)Bottomline - Please think twice before going to these guys, because they are no less than car showroom dealers. They will charge you less for inspection in Pittsburgh, but come up with this huge list of repairs. I believe they are totally fraud to take that $40 out of your pocket for no reason and wont even do the inspection properly.

I really had terrible experience in this Firestone store, I went for state inspection and for general checkup for my car. It took two days for everything done. One first day they said I need to change all 3 tires and two front stout ( shocks). The Chinese guy who works there also said if I dont change the tires and stout they will not pass my state inspection. I asked the approximate cost, they said it would cost me around $450 for all 3 tires and around $300 for changing stouts. I said to do all the necessary work, they took no time in changing the tires they immediately changed the tires and said to come the next day at around 3pm for changing the stouts as they did not had. I paid $ 450 on that day and went off. The next day when I went I was surprised that they not even bothered to order from there stores, after me going they ordered from there store, the owner and the workers had discussion at the counter which I heared ( the owner was asking that chinese guy is it really required to change the stouts)...fishy. So after waiting for around 1.5 hours the part came to the store they called me to the counter and gave me with new qoutation of $650 for everything for that day...I was shocked and said I dont have that much money. They offered me to buy their credit card. I had to take their credit card just for that purpose. So finally they started the work it took nearly 4 hour on that day for the job done. I left the store at around 7.00 pm on that day.... the total cost was $450+$650 for the entire thing to be done. I would never ever return to this store in my life......

I went there 1/6/17 to get 2 new tires put on and an alignment expecting to pay almost 165.00 ended up only charging me 101.91 nice guys that work there not after your hard earn money they will work with you

They do ok work, but are very eager to push expensive extras especially on women and the elderly.
