Since I moved into the area, I thought I would give them a try. The staff are super friendly. The work was carried out quickly. I have no complaints. Came back for brake work and found the same level of service. Very helpful, very low key, no attempt to upsell. One of the best auto repair shop experiences I have had. Would highly recommend.

Asked for a tire patch and the associate who worked on my wheels was careless when remounting the tire. Theres a scratch on the outer edge of the wheel that I PROVED to the manager with a photo taken before the work was done and they claim that it was my driving. Absolutely irresponsible about their own mistakes.The wheel will cost around $160 to repair and I have to get a formal estimate from a body shop to go through their claims process because the manager refuses to accept responsibility.Never go to this place if you care about your car and always take photographic evidence when dropping your car off for ANY kind of repair.

Honest professionals who do good great work - and in a very timely manner. Another shop said my repairs would cost over $1K. Pep Boys took a *GOOD* look at it, informed me that the back wheel was stuck on (so the original shop didnt even look at it), and did the necessary repairs for a little over $500.Ben and Carmen are excellent service managers and this shop runs like a well-oiled machine. I plan to continue bringing my vehicles here for years to come.

The employees were very friendly and accommodating and the service (snow tire installation) was done well. However, I find that the snow tire installation (not sure about any other services) are always 20%-30% more expensive at this Pep Boys vs. any other Pep Boys location. Worth checking with other stores to see if theyll do the same service for cheaper or asking price when setting up the appointment because I didnt find out the price until I dropped the car off

I drive a slightly older car with around 200,000 miles on it. Ive been to my fair share of shops and this one is probably my favorite so far. Ive been to dealers, other chain aftermarkets, and mom and pop shops and none of them quite have what this one has. This Pep Boys has synergy. A really efficient and professional synergy. It is said that the best leaders lead from the front and that is what they do here. I often see management stepping in to lend their techs a hand when needed. Everyone from the lube tech to the manager is knowledgeable and trustworthy. I had my car in for an oil change and they recommended a belt and inspection because my car was squealing and its inspection was almost up. I had them do the inspection and they walked me through the process from start to finish. I can tell they care for their customers cars. I will recommend this service station to everyone and will continue to bring my current car and future cars here.

Ive been taking my car here for years. Theyre really helpful and are always upfront about the work theyll have to do and how much itll cost before they do the work. Theyre really accommodating about fitting emergency repairs into their schedule and always keep in touch with me while my vehicle is the shop. I never feel like Im getting ripped off with these guys!

Carmen is the best mechanic I ever felt with.. perfect diagnosis, correction of problem, guaranteed his work and it was perfect job,timely and very pleasant and respectful

My 2013 Escape overheated trying to haul a 6x12 trailer across the Appalachians. Took it to this Pep Boys location on Labor Day Weekend and they were quick to tell me what the problem was and that they couldnt fix it in a timely manner - didnt charge me for anything and even helped me load my car onto an auto trailer. Really appreciate their help and generosity during a horrible cross-country moving experience.

I have been to this store many times before. Negative reviews are all about employees who are no longer there! The current manager BEN did everything he could to make my experience quick and easy! In and out same day for new pads and rotors and calipers. Dont know why someone would wait in the waiting room for a job like that, go home like I did!

Worst experience ever! I selected 2 tires online and made appointment. I arrived and they dont have the tires but can have them delivered by 12(3 hours after my appointment.) from store down the street. I cant wait that long but they said I could just go down there for my install. Whatever. I show up at second store they dont have them. BUT they have comparable ones at over twice the price. This is the worst case of bait and switch ever. I called customer service and they tell me same thing. Stay away from any Pep Boys location!!!!!

I came in with a vehicle that is in need of many repairs for inspection. I only made the appointment for an oil change. I was done in 20 minutes, they just mentioned the expired stickers and it looked like I needed shocks to pass. No pressure or anything. Case closed. Everything was fine.

Went there to install/balance all 4 New tires..Asked their so called ASE Certified professional if they perform Road Force tire balancing which is way more accurate and widely used in Europe even back 30 years ago, and their ASE expert LOOKED ALL CONFUSED he doesnt even know what that is...Also the guy that came out to get the car into garage was barely able to walk he looked so lazy he was dragging himself.On the way out of their parking lot i heard ticking sound, pulled over and saw wheel weights falling off the rims.Since i am mechanic myself i bought tire changer/balacer and did it myself the right way..By the time the machine was delivered i had to glue remaining weights with J&B Weld lol

Way over priced for services. Yes, they sell a lot of stuff, you can typically find what you need. But, better priced, better quality parts can be found elsewhere.

Would not recommend using this place. Staff were friendly at first, however as soon as a problem arose they became passive aggressive, unwilling to help (corporate and this shop) and refused to acknowledge that the service was done incorrectly, when we brought the car back to be looked at (oil was leaking slowly and we didnt catch it in time) it was magically fixed but to much damage had been done. Took months to hear from anyone and by then they stated that to much time had passed. Would never recommend anyone to use this place.

Several hour wait for a re-inspection of wiper blades and two lights.State Inspection -- Failed because of a couple lights out and streaking wiper blades. No big deal. I bought the parts and fixed myself. Used PepBoys online appointment system to schedule a re-inspection for today, Saturday 21 Sep. This particular Pep Boys store does not play ball with the online scheduling system. I called right before I was about to take it in and they told me it would take a few hours. A few hours to check to see if my wiper blades are streaking and two lights are working? Are you kidding? The service rep said they had 25 cars ahead of me at 11:00am. I pointed out I had an appointment scheduled and he saw that I did and told me, Well its like a doctors office. It gives us an idea of what we need to do in the day. Yes, because that helps the customer out so much when the scheduling system gives a specific time for an appointment but you completely ignore it.

Everytime I bring my car to pep boys Ben and Carmen go out of their way to help me. When I leave there Im always satisfied and happy with the service.

Beware these scam artists. They use after market parts that broke down on me after two weeks. Had to get the brakes and rotors from them replaced once by pep boys, which you guessed it broke down after another week. Ended up going to another business to get them replaced again. Called corporate to complain and they offered a $10 off oil change. What a Third rate organization

Had my Prius Inspected, alignment, tires, tpms sensor, and wheel hub/bearing. Staff was courteous and kept in communication with me the whole time (very important!) Did not try to sell me anything more than i needed. 👍🏼👌

I just moved to PA from WI a month ago and had my mechanic back home check my car before moving...nothing was wrong. I had Pep Boys do the state inspection on my car and suddenly they claimed that I needed $300 in work done on my tie rod ends. The next week I took my car to Laurs Auto Service and 2 mechanics who have been in the business for over 20 years each said that nothing at all was wrong with my car. Pep Boys is a crock.

Worst experience I ever had at an auto repair shop. I just moved to Pa and was taking my car in to get the required state inspection. I had an appointment first thing in the morning and was the only customer there. First off the inspection took over 2 hours. Multiple times when I got up and looked through their window, I saw the mechanics just sitting down and talking while not performing any work on the vehicle. Finally they finished and came back stating that over $1400 of repairs were required for my car to be able to pass Pa inspections. My car has been running perfectly fine, so I was shocked. Going over the quote, it quickly became obvious to me that most of the needed repairs were questionable at best and overpriced (e.g. $50 for wiper blades that I didnt need, $50 for headlight lens restoration that were not that cloudy). One of the big charges was that they were insisting that all my tires needed to be replaced (my tires were only a couple years old and had plenty of tread left!). When I questioned these charges, the receptionist became rude and insisted that they were just following Pa regulations. Obviously, I declined their services. I then took my car into Buzzys Tire & Auto Services off of Lebanon Church Rd, which I found to be honest and have great service. The final shock I got was that it turned out my brake pads, which was shown to me personally at Buzzy, were almost completely gone on my front tires. I was astounded that out of all the B.S. charges Pep Boys insisted, they did not even inspect my brake pads.

Moved to Pittsburgh from out of state and this shop was recommended to us. I have been taking our cars here for the last 3 years without issues. This year, my car failed safety. Its bound to happen, it is an old car, the surprise came when I got a quote for $700 to fix the rear brakes and one inner tie rod. As I got to looking at the quote, an optional warranty was added along with the platinum brake package...did I mention my car was old and I was never asked or given the option of choosing which package I would like or if I even wanted a warranty? Had I just gone ahead with having my car fixed the way they had written up, I would have spent hundreds in unnecessary packages and warranties. We changed the brakes ourselves (for under $100) and took our car to another shop and oddly enough...nothing was said about the tie rod and it passed. This lack of transparency of Pep Boys part just lost a customer.

New mangers and new workers are all awful. My experience was beyond miserable. Never returning and will continue to spread tht !

I had problems with an outside (3rd party) order. This Pep Boys helped me resolve those issues. Bring your car here!
