I had my worst manicure experience in this place. First, I arrived and one man started removing my previous nail color, 3minutes later he passed me to another person to take care of another client. So this second man took over, I tried to keep calm and say it is not big deal... but this man kept interrupting the work and either talking to other workers or picking up the phone. I constantly felt that they were rushed and that they just wanted to get it done, and he ended up passing me to a 3rd person, a woman who was more rushed than all the others. She literally painted my nails in less than a minute, she did all layers together at the same time and barely did the sides and the result is a messed up manicure. Then she asked me to wait at the nail lamp which I did for like 20 min and then I asked her how long I am supposed to wait, she just stared at me and said not yet not yet and went back to her other client... I waited almost an hour at the UV lamp and then I asked another person who was working there and his answer was if you think it is dry just leave, you can leave. I have never seen such a service in my life, I do not recommend this place. I wont come back here and honestly this is the WORST manicure I have ever had in my life!!! The nail polish started going away the same day after going back home... (see photos, I went on Saturday and those photos were taken on Monday)

I will no longer be going here and I suggest you don’t either. I was going here for over a year and they unexpectedly changed ownership and turned over all staff. I tried to give it a shot and went twice but the new staff is not skilled, doesn’t take their time, nor attentive to detail. It’s incredible that they have a $45 special, but the quality is not even worth $10. I would suggest you take your business somewhere else because you will have to go home and redo your nails yourself.

Me, my sister and friend all got sets done here a few nights ago. I will say the man who did my nails was super nice, but the lady who did my sister and friend was not according to them.I got a really simple set, all matte black with a coffin shape. The acrylic wasn’t filed smooth so my nails were left bumpy, and with major run off around the back of the nail. The gel polish wasn’t properly cured so I started to get gel leaking out of the tips of a few of my nails. And they didn’t seem to understand the shape I requested, nor that I asked for a matte not gloss finish.My sister brought a specific image for her nails that had a white base and red gradient glitter on. They painted a block of red and a block of white and covered it all with a white glitter.I do nails for fun, and honestly if I hadn’t had the tools and skill to fix all our sets we would have been even further devastated. We tipped 20$ On top of the 50$ each set cost, only to be given subpar service in the end.I wanted to recommend them because the man was so nice and we were late clients, but the final work was a mess and mine personally... honey I’ve seen thinner biscuits than the acrylic they laid on my nails. So in the end, I’d skip this shop if you’re not able to fix any issues you may be faced with. I don’t see these mistakes on three separate sets to be a small misstep. That’s three dissatisfied clients in one trip.

The pedicure was satisfactory. They were a little late getting me into my chair but the gentleman that helped me was helpful and considerate. They get you in and out, and your feet will look great.

My new go to nail place. Its been about a month and my nails still are strong and the gel looks fresh. Will be getting a fill soon. They have the most gel colors out of any salon Ive been to, and they do a great ombre nail! Super affordable too!

I appreciate the time I had to wait. However I don’t appreciate the fact the nail tech cut my finger while filling. At a very sensitive area which is the cuticle. She didn’t offer a discount. She had absolutely no conversation or no pleasant customer service about her at all. I will NEVER attend this nail salon in the future. My advice is don’t waste your time and money there.

I just went in to get a polish change with gel & they charged me $60 for my hands & toes. Meanwhile when I get gel the first time it was $15 dollars more. Initially when I asked the lady how much she said $30 which I expected & then it comes to $60 for a gel polish change hands & feet? When gel in general is only $15 dollars more!!!On tops of that the gel polish created circle indents on my nails. I won’t ever go there again & neither should you! They don’t even deserve one star. Trash throw the whole salon in the garbage!!!

My total experience was positive...I first called in; the man on the phone was very warm, welcoming, reassuring, and personable. He was in person as well. I came in for a full set but when she saw my nails she insisted I just get a fill because the nails were on great shape. I thought that was nice to save me money and time. My nails look and feel great too!

Got a pedicure. Expertly done. Soothing massage chair and even gave me foot and calf massage. I know there have been mixed reviews of this place...but my feet were hurting and my toenails were snagging my socks so I just had to try them. My feet and legs feel FANTASTIC. Well worth the money spent!

Amaaaazing experience! Awesome and friendly nail techs and super pleased with both my pedicure and dip manicure! Just moved back to Pittsburgh within the last year and hadnt found a regular salon, but I have now!

I wet back to give it another try. I went in the AM on a Tuesday and the older woman didnt gel manicure and then the older man painted my nails. MUCH BETTER!!! its been almost a week and Im still happy. I recommend having the older woman and men do your nails. The younger ones dont take their time.

Went outside to take pictures of cars,sold gift card and then had an friend come and in talk. This is not the first time she has done this. I am done with this place. I left no tip. Anyone who knows me know that I dont complain a lot but I dont know how they stay in business.

Rushed service. All nails have different length. Nail polish edges are not accurate. I used to get my nails done in Brooklyn, NY in any Asian nail salon for $8+tip and my nails looked awesome. In Rainbow Nails manicure cost $15+tip, and its just ugly.Never again.

I have given this place the benefit of the doubt multiple times. The first time I went one of the owners watched TV more then she really paid attention to what she was doing and she cut me twice clipping back my cuticles too far.The second time I went back I asked for someone else and I received a Gel manicure. This girl had her cell phone sitting on the table and stopped the manicure every few seconds to respond to a text, I mean seriously? My Gel lasted less than a week and was certainly not worth the aggravation. I will definitely not be spending any more money/ time here.

Today, I had the worst experience. I needed a basic service for which I was always charged a particular price for the past year.-Today, the price I was quoted (after the fact) was increased by 50%. -Before that two customers who arrived after me (no appointment)were served before me. Nothing was done until I went to the front desk to ask why was being ignored.If you are a minority of a darker skin persuasion it is clear that Rainbow Nails no longer desires us as customers.Twmy experience was

Dont bother. I tried them more than once for the benefit if the doubt. Everything always seems very hurry, hurry. My cuticles were cut so close that my fingers were sore for days. I was cut more than once with the scissors and with the dremel. Polish was streaky. The last time I went, I was cut twice, my nails were dremelled so far down that they were paper thin, the lady painting my nails was too busy with her phone and gossiping in general that she put one coat over another without putting the gel under the light. When I said something about it, I was told to not worry. (My nails chipped that night) Not a relaxing experience or environment.

Avoid this place at all cost. This place is the worst. I have never been to a place so rushed and horribly done. They just tried to work as fast as possible and over charged for the botched job they performed. They have low standards and dont even do the minimum.

They don’t even deserve one star. I’ve been going for years and i will never step foot in there again. They promised me something and when i came back the renegotiated. The owner was talking about me in ENGLISH to another client about me. Worst costumer service. Not worth your time or money.

This place is dirty af and obviously doesnt have a decent shift manager. The tables, floor, drink counter are covered in filth. The bathrooms are cleaner then the lobby.

It was my first time there and I don’t get my nails done very often, so for me it’s a treat. The first woman who did my nails made my cuticles bleed, wasn’t even looking at my hand when she was painting my nails, and when I left it looked awful! There was gel paint all over the sides on my finger tips and uneven streaks! Typically I dont complain but I couldn’t accept that I spent $30 on such an awful job. So the next day I went back and had another woman fix them! She apologized for how bad they looked and they came out super nice! I wasn’t planning on tipping her but she did such a great job fixing them that I thought she deserved a tip way more than the woman who had done them the day before. I won’t be returning because it’s inconvenient to have to go back and fix them, so you just have to be careful with who is doing your nails and say something if they don’t look good.

This place does everything in a rush and it shows. The jobs look half done for even something simple. No attention to detail. I wound up having to get my nails fixed by another salon immediately afterwards as I came in with better looking nails than I left with. They also are not familiar with powder (sns) nails and waxings are just are rushed and way more painful than they need to be. Not worth your time.

Awful experience overall. Manicure was overpriced for the service actually provided and what she did do, (half file and scrape/ cut cuticles) was done poorly. My cuticles were butchered and several of my fingers were bleeding. The woman working on me kept stopping to run around place doing random tasks and hardly payed any attention to what she was doing. I had to actually file my nails myself and disinfect and moisturize my cuticles when I got to my hotel.

When I first came they asked me to wait half an hour which I did. During that time I looked through their colors and checked their liscences which seemed to wierdly make them nervous. Worst nail place I ever went too. I got a shellac gel manicure last Monday july 18th, 2016. My manicure only lasted 1 week and started chipping off. This is unacceptable and has never happened to me when I have gone to other nail salons. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
