I was very happy to get my nails done before finally getting my college graduation! I got the dip with tips added. Lee was great! I dont do my nails often so she picked which shape she thought Id prefer and did a great job working with the chunky glitter dip which seemed to be a pain for her. Im so thankful for her patience working with the chunky glitter. I only wish I couldve sat next to my mother cause we booked the appointment at once, but I also understand because we didnt ask for specific techs.Update: second time here and Im so happy! This time I came alone and had a reference photo. Kim was so sweet and got as close to my picture as possible. I ended up very happy and Im so excited because I was getting these done for my birthday next weekend. Thanks Kim!Update: Thank you for my engagement nails!

The staff is so good, I would recommend them to everyone. I already have my nieces going there and now my daughter in law is going to go to. My son was getting married and I showed them a photo of what I wanted, Kim made them look exactly like the photo. They are awesome!!

Very disappointing experience and service.I can’t understand how a nail place think it’s ok to just paint nails without cleaning, file and do the cuticles prior to applying any kind of nail polish or gel or dip.And when you asked them to do a proper manicure - they argue saying that that’s the way it should be. Dip first and then cuticle - absurd.So my advice - if you just need color on your nails you’re probably be fine - otherwise if you are looking for a real manicure - I suggest going somewhere else because you won’t find it here.I don’t recommend this place - there are other awesome places out there that have better services!

Love how they did my nails and toes, I wasn’t a fan of the tech if I’m going spend money I would like the guy to take their time on me and don’t rush on me, he was on the phone as well I don’t think that was a professional at all. I also would like to see what I’m paying for I got a basic pedicure and dip nails and I spent $100.

I love my nails. They nail tech took his time with painting my nails, he took his time with every girl coat that he painted on. At the end when my nails were dry, he gave me this wicked hand massage and even cracked my fingers! Best feeling ever. Ill definitely be going back to this nail salon.

My nail tech, Lee, is very good. I often like to add some kind of design to my nails, & whether I have an idea in mind, or I let her choose, my nails always look great & I get many compliments. I have had pedicures done on occasion, as well as having my eyebrows done, and was happy with those too.The salon is always clean, but theyve added even more safety precautions, so I highly recommend this salon.

The place I normally go to is closed on Sundays and I wanted to treat myself for Mothers Day. They were very busy but fit me in without a problem. Everyone was nice and my nails look great! Ill be back!

They did a good job 👍. Had a wonderful foot massage. Drawer back hard to hear the woman with her 😷 mask on. We got the regular pedicure. I actually wanted the deluxe with nail trimming. However the massage and scrub down was still worth it.

Just moved to the area 2 weeks ago. I was all over the internet trying to find a place to get a manicure and pedicure. Finally decided to try Anns Nail Salon which was nearby. I lucked up! My daughter and I walked in and were immediately welcomed and waited on. Had to wash our hands before we began getting service which was cool in these days and times. The salon is neat, clean and spacious with a lot of pedicure and manicure stations plus the chairs for pedicures gives a pretty good massage. Loved my manicure and pedicure! Im kind of particular and Jo-Jo made the experience great! Definitely going back.

Expensive and I’ve tried several different technicians and none have done a good job. Results are always messy and horrible.

This place is great!!!!! Ann and her crew are the true definition of what teamwork is! Which is probably why it runs so smoothly. I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years and I don’t think have ever waited more than 10 or 15 mins. They work quickly and efficiently. The face that I work at a place that is open 24-7 and I can go to Ann’s at 740p and they’ll take me in (even though they close at 8) helps me so much! I sent my girlfriend here to get her nails and toes painted because of a recommendation and for $110 they guy did the toes a different but similar color then the fingernails even though he was told to do the same color but even worse he forgot to paint one of the pinky toes. How do you let that happen?

Ive been waiting with an appointment when other people come in & they take them ahead of me without an appointment. I know because I am acquainted with the other customers that were taken ahead of me. Then when it seems like its finally my turn & Im standing the technician comes up to me then takes someone sitting in a chair!!! Was rushed & given the dip technique that I didnt want, (more expensive.) The owner, (man) started talking politics with me & that was it!!! Wont be back!

I usually am able to get my nails done and they last for 3-4 weeks! I got mine done last Friday for a wedding and by Monday I had two chips...was disappointed but it was okay. Then today I noticed cracks in most of my nails seen in the clear coat and two more chips at other nails. Very upset and most likely won’t return. I’ve never had this problem before. Very nice people and on time and work hard!

I didnt have an appointment, but they were still super nice to me and did and amazing job. They had snacks and drinks for mothers day and I was treating myself so this was definitely an added bonus!

Ive been going to Anns since October for my dip manicure. Ive always had my nails turn out the way I asked. Ive found, much like when you get your hair done, if you show them a pic of exactly what you want, they will match it. I also one time couldnt find the color I wanted from the swatch bins but once I showed it to my tech, he knew exactly what dip powder to pick. Ive gone to Ryan and Cody and highly recommend both!

My first visit on Sunday. Kim took care of me, she took so much time and cared about me. My nails looked gorgeous, she did a new set with a pink and white ombré. Beautiful. Then I came back the next day on Monday for a pedicure again excellent!!! I have found a hold that services me to my satisfaction. Highly recommend the salon and Kim.

I’m not from here, I’m from Michigan. A family member took me here to get a fill and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! Just very personable and felt like the person really took her time, even though it was just a fill. We were a walk in and the wait wasn’t bad at all.

I’ve been coming here for quite some time & have always been taken care of. But I must say that Ann’s & the staff have gone above & beyond to protect their customers during the COVID-19. The new experience was fantastic. THANK YOU & a special thank you to JoJo!!

Amazing place!! When I walked in I was greeted by a women who actually works the desk. It was great not to have someone yell across the room to ask what I wanted. My nails turned out great and the environment was friendly!!! I am willing to make the drive from downtown Pittsburgh to this place because of the service.

If I could give them no star I would! I have been going to Anns for over 10 years never again they do not appreciate customers who have been faithful throughout the years. My time is more valuable than to go in with an appointment and still sit and wait and be there for 2 to 3 hours! Its totally ridiculous!! Last visit really did me in I had an appointment at 5 oclock had to wait 20 minutes. I had a scheduled dip and pedicure. After being there for hours Lynn had the nerve to get up in the middle of doing my nails and go start a pedicure on another customer. Ed had to get somebody else to finish me up The girl who got stuck with finishing my nails had a horrible attitude which I dont blame her I blame Lynn for walking away from me and never even come in back to say anything to me . I have been going to Lynn for years I just dont understand how they think thats customer service. The sad thing is they dont care they just want to get as many customers as possible they over book and make you wait forever.I know a lot of people who went there in the pass and feel exactly the way I feel will never go back in again. Horrible customer service!!!

Ann’s is AMAZING! They have every color, design, shape, type of gel powder and dip. They do an exquisite job and pay super close attention to what you want. I was in today 12/22/18 and they had a buffet set up for Christmas but even if it’s not a holiday they always offer complimentary drinks such as wine, water, sodas... this week I think they’re giving anyone who spends over 40 a bottle of wine for Christmas. The best thing is... they are very affordable and it’s better service than you’d get in the mall (believe me i know). So if your lookin for a good nail salon with friendly people and excellent service definitely go to Ann’s!

Good experience. The guy spent so long doing my nails so he could get them perfect.

Had an ok experience but the nails them selves not worth the prices at least the ones I got. Have many issues but biggest problem is the gel polish didn’t even last a day. The polish didn’t cure correctly and application was poor.

Asked how if there was a wait was told yo come right away. Showed up within 3 mins... waited 30 minutes for a fill that took over an hour... nails arent even even, few nicks in the sides of them.. overall bot very impressed... ill stick with Nikki at Polishd up the road never a problem for a lot cheaper.

I went to get my nails done here today for the first time and I went to the owner Ann and I told her that I cut my acrylics myself because they got too long and it was affecting my typing at work so they needed a little work. She asked me if I wanted round or square and I said a natural round is fine. She did the fill and shaped it and before she moved on I told her I didn’t like it and asked if we could change the shape I didn’t care if it made the nail shorter and she told me it was too late she already asked me what I wanted and I said round. I let her finished paid the $20 and walked out and legit started breaking them off before I even got in my car I hated them so bad it made me cry!

It’s a nice clean location, the people were friendly. The treatment was thorough, and the polish job was good. Bring cash for tip, you can’t add it to the credit card.

I have just started making my opinion heard and have been reviewing businesses I spend my hard earned money. I have tried several nail salons on the west side of Pittsburgh (Robinson and Greentree)...Anns Spa & Nails is by far my favorite. I can now say this is where I will STAY. Professional, polite, CLEAN, prompt (1st appointment in the morning and we all started before 10am). And to think they were right here near me all along! Please give them a try!Update years after this review I still love coming to Anns Spa & Nails. 2019 they rock!

I always have a really great experience here! The prices is competitive to other salons in the area. The service is really good, and I get a long lasting Mani/pedi. They offer drinks and try their best to make sure youre happy. The newest thing Ive noticed is the receptionist is a really funny & kind gentleman who tried to mingle and make sure I had everything to make me happy. He has great customer service!Update Feb 2020:To be honest I used to love love love coming to this salon, and highly recommended it to others. Unfortunately, the last few times I left here I didnt leave very happy. I feel like I didnt receive the services that I was expecting. I feel like the customer service has gone down also, nobody even offers me a water or anything anymore, I barely even get spoken to by anyone other they the friendly gentleman at the reception desk . And for todays services I showed a picture beforehand of exactly what I wanted- matte ombre nails, and then at the end when I asked about the matte finish, I was told that I didnt let her know that I wanted the matte, and that it was too late. Unfortunately I may have to find another salon 👎 that will live up to my expectations . I apologize for the rough review, but I just feel like you guys can do better!!

My favorite place to get my nails done! Ed is one of the reasons I keep coming back, he makes sure you are comfortable and that you always have a match to your gel polish! And not to mention my nails always look amazing! Another thing I noticed is that they have disposable buffers and files for every customer! Which you rarely find nowadays! Never going anywhere else

When I walked in, nobody said hi to me. I stood there until someone told me to sign in on their iPad. All I needed was a fill, and where the option for fill was on the iPad only said “gel fill” there was no “regular fill” so I literally had to to click gel. I found out after that gel costs an extra 15 which I understand some salons do, but they make it look like they don’t even have regular polish as an option. I got a matte top coat and when I put my hand under the gel light, it started to burn really intensely at the base of my nail so I quickly removed my hand. It ended up being fine the woman who I later found out was Ann herself mocked me about me getting burned in her salon. The nail tech that did my nails was nice, however she got up a count of 6 times during my session and left a lot of my nails half done and didn’t do my cuticles or have me even wash my hands. My main concern for this place is this gentleman that works there who I think does mainly calls and janitorial duties. He looks very out of place there ( caucasian, bald, glasses, middle aged )And made me feel very uncomfortable. He walked passed me numerous times trying to make eye contact and eventually sat down right next to me. I had been confused about payment so I was waiting for my mom to come and bring the rest of my payment so I could leave. He proceeded to tell me I could leave and come back if I needed to which didn’t feel right. If I wasn’t an upstanding person, I could’ve left and not come back! He said I was being “sweet” about the whole situation which didn’t make any sense because I was the one who screwed up. He may have been just trying to be nice but something definitely felt off about the whole thing, especially when he laid his hand on my shoulder too long before going to the desk. I am a minor and this left me feeling very uneasy. I have also heard from other people that this man has made them uncomfortable as well. All in all, if you want a comfortable and clean nail appointment, don’t come here!!!!!
