I was visiting for the weekend and went for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The salon was very clean and the staff was very welcoming. The quality of both of my services was amazing. They took time doing my nails and they turned out beautiful! If I ever find myself in the area again, I will be sure to treat myself to a service here!

I went in and asked for a nude gel set that would make me feel polished and clean without being too dramatic. This is the first salon to hear me and execute. Brilliant!

I usually have a good experience here, but I was so disappointed my last visit. I called and scheduled appointments for 3-Luxury pedicures and manicures with gel polish. My youngest daughter and granddaughter were in town to celebrate their birthday. When we arrived, the staff began to talk amongst themselves in their language, not bothering to greet us other than to say, “someone over booked us today, it will be about another 30 minutes and someone will have to wait an hour before they get done!” They we’re pretty nonchalant about it. I declined service and I will never return again.

As posted by another user, we booked ahead, waited for 20 minutes and others that walked in went ahead of us were served. When I asked at the 20 minute mark, the reason was they were getting only a Mani or Pedi and my daughter and I were getting both (per pre-booked appointment). After waiting more 30 minutes, we had to leave to keep on our schedule. The current clients had a lot of asks, which is ok, but then we had no idea how much longer it would be. I cant understand why an appointment would be allowed to be booked but not acknowledged within 30 minutes to a timeframe other than soon. It seemed like a nice place, but only if you have unlimited time.

Owners/employees are very nice. the spot itself is very bright and modern looking. I got my first dip powder set and they turned out pretty decent. a little thicker than I like normally but just trying it out because I bartend and am seeing if they last longer than gel. again, still turned out good and I like the color a lot.update: it’s been a month and my nails are still intact 👍

They were very accommodating and I love the fact they were open on Sunday

I used to choose m nail on walnut regularly as my place to go for a good pedi and mani but today changed that for sure. I went for a gel pedicure and it was the worst one I’ve ever had - he didn’t even touch the bottom of my feet when it comes to massaging them and simply just applied a little lotion on my legs and feet after rushing through the pedicure and gel polish application. I essentially overpaid to simply have my toenails painted.

Super simple and summery baby pink dip nails 5/5 SNS or dip nails are hard as diamonds for those who have thin or easily bendable nails, this manicure method is great for growing out nails. Very clean, fast and professional. Thank you!

The first time I got a mani and pedi here it was pretty decent. This time I went in for my birthday gel manicure and the man (beta it think) was so rude, impatient and terrible at what he did. He didn’t even remove my previous nail polish fully before applying the one. Very poor cuticle removal and my nails have never looked worse. Terrible!When I got to paying, they said that their card machine broke and the man demanded that I use their atm to withdraw cash instead of requesting. Possibly the worst experience every and it’s so unfortunate that I am unhappy with my birthday nails!

They took my Wife in late and finished with her past closing hours.

I came for a pedicure and it was probably one of the worst I have received. My feet are dry and cracked. They do not remove calluses or any dead skin and barely put any lotion on your legs/feet. Save your money and go somewhere else.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We had two appointments at a specific time and were not only taken late but walk ins were taken before us. The staff was rude and unfriendly and racist. My sister before walking over to the table asked me if I liked the two colors she was showing and the woman said “can you hurry up” - mind you this took all about 30 seconds. She got foil on her nails.. I was still waiting and instead of the rude woman jumpstarting my acrylics.. she took a walk in. 30 minutes in the man asked if I was ready and we left to go to literally any other nail salon. Do not waste your time here. Not today, not ever. PS - I’ve never left a review in my life. That’s when you know

I got a fill a couple weeks ago and they started to lift so I took them off. Next thing I know I see fungus on 3 of my nails..

Great nail place! My friends and I were walk ins and they took us right away. I got a mani and she got a pedi which were both great. Kind staff as well. Would recommend to others!

Worst pedicure ever. She was so rushed the whole thing lasted 22 minutes (I timed it). When I told her I had an ingrown toenail, she said Its too deep I cant get it. Forget the ingrown toenail, she didnt even cut my cuticles. What pedicure doesnt tidy up cuticles? And she left my big toe chipped. The worst part was as I was sitting in the dryer, she walks back up to me with no shame asking for her money because she has to leave at three (hence Im assuming why she rushed). I politely told her Ill pay when Im done. Even with a bad experience I always tip, but not this time. I told the manager it was very dissapointing, and all he responded with was Im sorry (as he took my money mind you). Didnt even offer to fix it. The point of a pedicure is to relax, I walked out more stressed then when I went in. Not to mention I now have to pay to go somewhere else to get an actual pedicure.

I went to M nail salon on Walnut today for the first time. I walked past a few weeks ago and it looked really nice so I wanted to check it out. I was really impressed with the salon and the service. There was no wait at 1 on a Sunday, the nail tech was amazing and the salon was spotless. Ive tried dozens of nail salons in Pittsburgh and this is my new go-to.

This place does a reliably good job on my nails, but they completely don’t honor appointments. I have been there for the last time, I waited for 30 minutes later than my appointment tonight, and they took walk-ins first. And they don’t even communicate the Why of it.It’s ridiculous and awful customer service.

M nails has a great ambiance and is very clean/modern looking! They have quality customer service. Some nail techs seem more experienced than others though.

The facility is nice, neat, and clean. However, the hospitality here is lacking. It would be nice if they offered at least a bottled water to patrons. The manicure and pedicure experience is sub par and rushed. Its obvious that there isnt much quality competition in the area.

$50 FOR A FILL?! I have been going here for 3 years and paying $35 for a gel fill. However, I was argued with (by a new tech) that the price “has always been” $45 for a gel fill even though their menu right next to me said $35. He also added $5 for a shape change which I do every time and have never been charged. They lost my business, I will not be returning.

Everytime I come here I get different experience. This time it was rushed. They made my pedicure in under 10 min... Store was empty.. where do you rush?! Guy who made pedicure smelled with cigarette smoke... quite dissatisfied this time....

This salon was very clean, able to take me as a walk-in on a weekend, and my gel manicure lasted 3 weeks!
