I called last minute and they took me right away. I needed a fill with gel polish. I just moved from the other side of town and decided to try a new place (closer to home) I couldn’t be happier, Angel did an amazing job! Thank You! I will be back.

I was told my nails would be $120 including my feet. $40 for my feet and $80 for my nails due to the length(extra $20).I normally spend close to $200 including the tip, but I decided to be simple this time, and wanted to save $. So, as a way to save 20 extra bucks I asked to have them short… besides the sloppy work, I ended up paying $130. I paid more then I was originally told, for something I wasn’t happy with. Of course I expressed that, and was met with attitude. And was told it would be an extra $10 to have them fixed because of the “time it takes”.. My hands especially looks a mess. I always leave satisfied but today I couldn’t be any less pleased. Prices are too high for anyone to leave with a frown on their face!

Very rude. This is the second time i was met with an attitude, i came in for an apt scheduled at 1pm for a pedicure. I was left soaking for 45 mins before i was even assigned a person to do my pedi. She came and left randomly so again i sat alone for another 10-15 minutes. At that point i got up to leave and explain to the receptionist my experience. I was met with yelling from the “owner”. Anyways this has happened prior when i told the person who was doing my nails that they cut me and i was bleeding. Very rude, and dirty on the weekends and they move slow on the weekends. Men techs are very polite and efficient. The women are nasty. Wont be returning ever.

I have been going to this nail shop since earlier this year. I schedule appointments and I tip very well.I showed up for my 4pm apt to be told the nail tech I wanted NeyNey was not feeling well and I had to see another tech. I told them that anyone could do my nails but I wanted the husband of NeyNey to do my nails. They became upset which in turn made me even more upset.They put me in the pedi chair feet in the water and I was told I was fussing and I expressed that I am a client and have a right to be and they dont and that the service is very unprofessional. I was told my apt was cancelled and was asked to leave.I will never give them my business and I know they dont care but I do. I am spending my money that I worked hard for.Also, I have seen clients come in who are very rude and was treated way better than I due to the fact he didnt want to hear the truth.Maybe if they were more professional they would get a different demographic of people and clientele. WE ARE NOT ALL THE SAME!!!!

They are great! That are very friendly plus their prices are reasonable and affordable. I arrived with no appointment scheduled and I was in the nail tech chair less than 6 minutes after arriving . My nail tech was Jon and he is amazing! He made suggestions for my nails and I love the end result! Thank you will be coming back!

They do a great job!! it is clean, air conditioned, and have lots of people working. it’s a suprisingly big place. I made a reservation thru Facebook and they took me on time. A gentleman named Minh did an awesome design on my nails!!

The man is so disrespectful it’s disgusting I spent 200 dailies on my nails in had to come back 3days in a row to get em fix he going say don’t come back here then I said ok that’s fine after you fix my nails I paid 200 for he said you can get out it’s truly rued, I have fought with my nails before and they didn’t break they keep breaking but it’s cool they won’t see me again EVER AFTER THIS 🙏🏾

Had a pedicure. Technician didn’t use scrub to soothe skin on my heels. No calluses on heels. Following morning I went in again & asked why the heel scrub wasn’t done. Owner spoke w technician & said to me “it was done”. All you had to do was look at my heels to notice it wasn’t done. She believed the technician I assumed I was lying. Just take a look, I said. Nothing was done. This place just lost one valuable customer.Also front entrance rugs had not been vacuumed for 3 days. The day I went to get appt. The day of the appt. And following day when I went to complain. Rugs had not been vacuumed and they were grossly dirty!!!!

They do good job on nails but the lady messed up my eyebrows, I have great eyebrows and I am so upset for them getting them messed up, I didn’t check in there but anyway the damage was done. Seems like eyebrows are not their expertise!

Rating due to my set appointment didnt mean much bc I waited a half hour 😤 besides polishing my toenails my feet were barely touched 🥺 and the free style pittsburgh steelers design is super basic 😳 but I will give them another shot 😉

Did a great job on my fill but when I went in to get my Acrylics taken off they severely damaged my nails- just tore them off instead of shaving them until I asked for them to be shaved. Will not be back.

I love this place !!!! The royal pedicure is more than the regular pedicure but is totally worth it !!! My technician is amazing and I will never ever change her!!! I’m so happy to find a place for relaxation and great job !

Gorgeous nails but unfortunately the nails came off within a week :( I paid $85 for the full set and it was beautiful but the nails didn’t last long & thats a lot of money for such weak quality. I used to love this place very disappointed.

I got a manicure and was extremely disappointed. The manicure was sub par as I left with scratches on my nails and none of my cuticles were properly tended to. I and was over charged and when I brought it up they wouldn’t even consider my points. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

I came in for my appointment and only had to wait about 10 minutes. John did my acrylic nails, and they turned out really nice. The polish and shape look perfect. Will definitely be coming here again.

My daughter and I went to the nail shop early afternoon. We masked up, sanitized signed in, and followed shop covid regulations. After a almost a whole hour and no one approached or spoke with us. After several people were called for services a young lady approached me and said we are full for the day you can go now. No more appoints right as they took 2 walks in one before us and one after. This is the 2nd time this shop has done this to us and Im over it. I wasted so much time and money in this place over the past 2 years Im so disgusted. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DOLLAR IN THIS PLACE.

I called them yesterday to set up a nail appointment whoever answered the phone hung up on me before I could finish asking a simple question about there services for eyebrow and lashes. When I got there for my appointment I was not greeted staff at this place is very rude and cocky they just lost a customer. Don’t spend your money with them.

I was so impressed with Nail Bar! I was a walk-in for a gel polish change on a busy Friday and only had to wait a few minutes before I was seated with Jon. He was efficient and did an excellent job. In addition to doing a great job on my gel, he was lovely to chat with. I would highly recommend giving Nail Bar a try!

Tried this nail salon for the first time last week and loved it! Called two hours before and was able to make an appointment for a fill in and pedicure. Service was really well. Told the nail tech how I liked my nails and he did it exactly how I like them! Paint job has lasted well. Pedicure was good.

After a major nail fail from a different salon the night prior, Nails Bar Spa not only quickly replied and got me right in to fix them, but the owner graciously provided me with what my options were, something that other salons I reached out to (surprisingly) did not do. Nails Bar Spa is affordable, friendly and accommodating. I’m so very pleased with the owner and his wife, Nyny who saved my nails and made them look great!

One of the worst nail salons I’ve been too. Very unprofessional, the quality of work is trash. Not honest people. Worst customer service ever,they don’t truly listen to the customer. I called to explain my problem and I was honest with my situation they told me one thing over the phone. I take the time out of my busy schedule to get my nails re done for free because that what she said over the phone I come in she says she didn’t say that. Which she did! Like I said very unprofessional, dishonest, and can’t handle customers the proper/professional way as business owners should. Don’t own up to their mistakes.I’m very upset, you pay a lot of money to have a service done that should last 3 week didn’t even last a week. Please don’t go to this salon.

They dont greet you when you come in or even acknowledge your presence. The worst of it is you can have an appointment and still end up waiting for more than an hour.

I feel bad rating so poorly because they were very friendly and I have heard good things. I got an acrylic refill on Saturday (yesterday) with gel polish. The shape is great and the nails look great but the polish is already peeling off and scratched and dull. I get gel polish because it lasts longer and should not do this but my nails already look bad after only one day. Gel polish is expensive but I don’t mind paying extra when it makes my nails look better, in this case however my nails are already disappointing. The gel polish on my thumb is peeling off so badly. I don’t know what can be done because I don’t want to pay to have to get a color change since I just paid for these the other day. Would be willing to come back, but not to pay for a correction of terrible quality polish. I’m sad!

Had probably the best nail service I’ve ever had here. I just needed acrylic fills and replacements but they were efficient, thorough, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m definitely coming back, even if the prices are a little steep. Worth every penny.

Decent pedicures

This is probably the best nail salon in pittsburgh. the staff is so friendly. the salon itself is very clean & organized. my nails always come out looking amazing. every. single. time. they are very detail oriented & make sure everything looks amazing. prices are very fair. love this place. always recommending it to friends & family.

I was so excited to see the salon open after Pittsburgh turned green. I called this morning to get an appointment for a pedicure and was told to come at 5:30. When I went in at 5:30 there were multiple people waiting inside the salon and the awner told me that he was way behind and I should go and wait in the car indefinitely. This is unacceptable. I live in the neighborhood and always want to support local businesses.

The gentleman that did my toes and nails rushed through my service and did not attend to my cuticles barely at all- he also left a noticeable gap in between my cuticle and where my polish started- making it look like my nails had already been grown out. For the price I paid- I was unsatisfied with the time and effort put in.

The staff are very nice! They did a great job, got them done relatively quickly (with a hand/arm massage too!) And the place is beautiful! Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is due to some areas of the polish being thicker & darker than others, but I doubt many will notice... Definitely will be going back again!

The lady messed my nails up there crooked an uneven upon asking her to fix them she got upset I have been found there since they opened not everybody there can do nails the owner an his wife are so very nice so I didn’t want to be rude but I’m very unhappy with my service

I had Mimi for a pedicure and this is by FAR the best pedicure I have had in YEARS. The space is beautiful and clean and I did not have any wait on a Saturday. My gel pedicure has lasted 3!weeks! I will definitely return.

I was in a car accident in February 2018 which partially paralyzed my right arm. The care, sincerity and respect I have received from multiple staff members has blown me away. Theyre gentle with my hand and do a fantastic job on my nails. The beyond reasonable prices are also a plus!

I absolutely love this nail salon I tried so many salons in the past but this one is by far the best in the city. This place looks so luxurious and trust me it is. They do such an amazing job and they dont rush you out the door. The staff is super friendly my first time coming here they treated me like they been doing my nails for awhile. Its very clean and relaxing place to come and kick back and get pampered. Big like from me and they now have a consistent loyal customer.

2 days after I got a pedicure here, I started getting my first ever I grown toenail. I’m on day 4, a doctor visit, and no relief in sight for the most painful toe condition I’ve ever experienced. I’ll never get another pedicure again, anywhere.

I absolutely love Nail Bar! Their prices are fair for the wonderful work they do, they make sure that you love your nails before you leave, and they always do an incredibly thorough job. My acrylics consistently last 2-3 weeks and have never once chipped, smudged, or come off. I moved out of south side recently but I always take the time to come back to Nail Bar because they do the best job of any place in the city.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!! I would love to give them a negative 5. This place is horrible. Ty, the tech that did my nails and did my toes, drilled my toe nail so far down that it split in half. Then covered it with gel polish. When I went back to have it fixed, the technician wanted to charge me to have the nail fixed and when I asked her why I was being charged to have something fixed that they did, they said I had to leave. This place is unprofessional and they show prejudice against certain people smh. Back to my other salon. I should have never left. I can’t upload a pic yet but as soon as I’m able to...I’ll show you my toe that he destroyed.

I came here and asked for two gel manicures for my friend and me. It was lunch time and they had one technician working and said it would be a 30-40 minute wait to have our nails done.I waited. And waited. And when they finally were able to take us, they could only do one at a time.They should have communicated upfront that they couldn’t accommodate us with their current staffing instead of making us wait. They were non apologetic about wasting our time.

If you want your nails on point then you need to be at nails bar spa, they do an awesome job.... I love my nails. Ladies make your way there...

I had been going to this salon since October 2018. I’m a creature of habit, so even though I started having bad experiences I stayed loyal hoping things would turn around. Not only did the staff seem to never recognize or remember me (had been going every 3 weeks for 9 months) my service got worse over time rather than better!One time it took almost 3 HOURS for a fill because the tech was doing my nails plus someone else (someone I did not know!) at the same time. It was odd, but I let it go.Another time the woman doing my nails applied the acrylic and then painted immediately after without ANY sort of filing or shaping! They were so big, thick, lumpy, and ugly! I was upset, but I don’t like to complain so I just dealt with it for two weeks.I had to ask for my nails to be shaped and filed and I felt like I was being rushed out every time I went for a service. Often times the tech would ask me in the beginning of my service where I got these done the last time because they didn’t look great to which I would reply “Here!”. I had gone no where else for 9 months!The last straw was me being in dire need of a fill and Nail Bar Spa was unable to fit me in for a few days. I went to another salon and the tech realized I HAD FUNGUS GROWING UNDER MY ACRYLIC!I was utterly horrified. Never in my life has anything like this ever happened to me. I was embarrassed and upset realizing I had a black fungus on 8 of my 10 nails.I keep up on my nails consistently. I tip more than 20% because I am also in customer service. I do not know why I was given such terrible service.I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS SALON.I also regret ever suggesting this salon to anyone.

This place is amazing. So beautiful on the inside and wonderful staff. From the first time i went in, it is a greay experience. Ive been to many nail salons and this by far is my favorite. This is my go to salon. And if you have a chance, get the royal spa pedicure. Its amazing and leaves your feet and calves so smooth.

Very friendly nail techs that actually care about the conditions of your nails. I always get the dip nails. Natural and very strong. I lasted 4 weeks without any damage!

The nail tech I had didn’t do the most amazing job (I got a mani/pedi and normally they massage a little bit) but it wasn’t bad. I got the gel, which I didn’t know made it much more expensive ($80 total) so I’d probably skip next time. They were all friendly and the interior is super nice. I was a walk-in and only waited about 10min. Would recommend.

DO NOT COME HERE! I’m new to the area and was in search for a new nail home. THIS PLACE ISN’T IT! The nail tech barely scrubbed my feet, cut my toenails crooked on all toes and rushed my mani and pedi! I had to make her fix one of my toenails because it was visibly noticeable! I think she had a second look at her poor work and started to be VERY friendly and talkative. Just over all lazy service. It’s as if she didn’t take pride in her work. Asked her name and she said it was KIM. SAVE YOUR MONEY. I ALWAYS TIP BUT THIS TIME I JUST COULDN’T! You won’t be getting anything close to a spa treatment Here!

I liked that they did a great paint job, however I just paid 55$ for gel nails . I’m used to 40$ I was charged 35$ for the full set 15$ for nail color and 5$ for length . I’ve never went to a nail shop where I had to pay for nail color separate . Looks like I need to find another nail shop.

Very unsanitary and sub par job. The woman who did my pedicure took no time at all scrubbing my feet which is a blessing and a curse because SHE USED AN ALREADY USED SCRUBBER ON MY FEET! Most places you get your nails done take their tools out of a bag, the ones she used on me were already sitting out, leading me to believe that they were also used...I made an appointment and it took forever for someone to help me and once they finally did, I felt like they were rushing the whole time and were completely unsanitary. I will never go back here.

The work went downhill from the first time I’ve went here John and his wife do a wonderful job but the past 2 times I went and they were not there I got my nails done by another employee and they didn’t even last a week my nails started to lift a day or so later and 2 nails broke off and the acrylic was layered way to thick use to love going here but will not be going back unfortunately 😞 I still think John and his wife are awesome at what they do

I came here a few weeks after my son was born. I was struggling with postpartum anxiety and it was my first time leaving him. Someone had suggested my fiancé schedule me a pedicure appointment to destress. Originally, I wanted to rush through and get done so I could get back to my baby but when I sat down for my pedicure, my nail tech made me feel so much less stressed. She gave me one of the best pedicures I have ever had. She rubbed my feet, chatted freely with me, and really helped me get th me time I needed while giving me a wonderful massage. I cannot wait to go back again. This salon is calming, beautiful, and clean. I suggest it to all.
