The staff was very friendly but I had a few problems when I went there. I went for dinner for the steak they serve at 4pm and was told it was one per person. The piece of steak I received was incredibly small and is compared to the size of a chicken breast below. Their ham was also gross and tasted like rubber, they didn’t have strawberries for the chocolate fountain, and the ice cream machine was broken.

Typical golden corral. Decently priced food and tons of options. Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was hot and mostly fresh.

Overall a good experience, however it seemed like i was waiting in line more than I was eating. The place is set up cafeteria style now for obvious reasons. But at one point there was only one person assisting customers with a line of at least 12 people. Waited almost ten minutes to get food. This was during dinner on a Saturday night! With the prices they charge, they need to get more help or something! Get it together!

I love this place but definitely not for lunch, some ppl may find it good for them but not me. The burger sliders were really good at lunch thats all all had cus nothing looked appetizing. But definitely go for dinner. Also dont forget to sign up for the rewards u get a free meal on ur bday and cupons once in a while ..

The chicken was pretty dry, and the medium steak I got was pretty rare and rubbery.Also the bathroom had toilet paper all over the stall and brown smears on the wall and stall.PlusesThe desserts taste good, as well as the mash, and other sides.The smoked flat bread was amazing.The staff were very attentive and checked in regularly.

Love this place. My wife and kids prefer it over Hometown Buffet. Food is always fresh, tastes great, and also a nice selection of variety to choose from. Usually not too crowded to a point where you feel uncomfortable. Servers are polite and attentive to needs like soda and everything else. A place i never have a problem with giving a well deserved tip.

The current promotion of steak, butterfly shrimp, etc., Is good. But this location today only brought out the shrimp after several people asked where it was. When they finally complied, they cooked a small batch, brought it out when I returned, and only later brought a small tray of it out to the line. One man was delayed long enough that he left without shrimp. Otherwise, the food was very good.

Ive been there twice, and the experience was good on the stake and grill line, they ask you what? You like your steak that alone impresses me. There are no AZ buffets that serve steak live like that will ask you the temperature of your steak you like.my only advice is that the older steak product that has been sitting out over 40 minutes, be discarded off to the side and fresh stock be grilled to customer satisfaction

Went there last night around 5:30. Would not honor childs buffet at $2.99 because I did not print coupon, I had it on my phone. The place was filthy with food spilled on serving counters and food all over the floor. We used to like this place because the food was good. The food was terrible and food trays not filled up. Fish had no taste, steak was tough, salad was wilted, and soup had a crust on top. They never brought out pepperoni pizza to serve even when asked. Grandson waited at desert counter for over 15 minutes for cotton candy and no one came out. Finally, we asked server who got someone for the desert counter. The only good thing about our visit was the waiter.

I went here to partake of the Veterans day specials but Ive gone here other times as well and they always have a good selection of foods which are always tasty. The staff that Ive encountered at the times Ive come here has always been friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

Ladies were very rude to manager and staff. Taking pictures of all the employees AND other customers without PERMISSION. Kept taking them AGAIN when mangers asked her nicely to stop. Ladies kept shouting at everyone, even some customers as well when they were not doing anything. Mangers were very polite to them asking them to leave because they were very rude to me and other customers. I think they almost hit them too. Claiming that they did not eat even though they were here for about the same time I was with my family. AKA 2 hours. So I believe they did eat. I was sitting right next to them and they did not see any roaches they claim to be. Hope they never come back.I love this Golden Corral .Managers MAYRA AND EUSEVIA kept apologizing to my family and other families about them even though it was not the restaurants fault. VERY POLITE AND NICE managers.

I love coming in here and not only just because of the food. The first thing I come in too is the teamwork duo, Michelle and Cathy. I love seeing them work together. They complement each other very nicely. It is truly amazing to see them work in sync. I saw Cathy needing help with a big line they had at golden corral this past Saturday, and I swear Michelle came to help her out in the nick of time. After my husband and I get greeted by them we go to our favorite server Maday tables she waiting on and we enjoy our meal like every other week that we go too. I love this restaurant. Me and My husband cannot wait to go again.

The food is good, the waiters are kind but the cooks not so much. The real good stuff has to be cut and served by one of the cooks and its like they purposely make you wait around so youll just skip that and move on. We waited so long to have a piece of sausage that my boyfriend tried to cut his own slice and a cook immediately came and took the tongs away. On that same visit I waited almost five minutes to be rudely served two scoops of ice scream that I would have happily served myself. We paid close to $90 for 4 people so I was expecting $90 service.

I dont usually like this place. The roast beef was really really good. I had the roast beef and some white rice. We sat in a corner away from the hustle and bustle of people getting food. This would be a great place to take children, if the budget can handle it.

It great, fresh food, great place for grill and desert, such as ice cream and cake. The fried Chicken was nice and hot, the pizza was delicious and cheesy. In all, it was delicious and at a great price.

I love eating here, some food is subpar though. They dont know what medium rare is at the steak area and you basically have to beg for drink refills but its a good option for groups who cant decide on what to eat because they have so many options for all cravings.

A buffet done right the first time everytime. The food is always delicious, fresh, and well presented. The staff is super friendly and polite. The cooks are on top of their game. Why variety of food and drinks. Great place to bring the whole family. Even the coffee is top notch. Tell all of your friends there may be a wait. But it will be worth it. Wont be going back. We use to take our grandson here to eat a few years back, and decided to treat him yesterday, as a reward for making honor roll. One of the worst experiences Ive had in a long time. Ended up paying way too much, and then stopped at Taco Bell on the way home, just so I could find food I could actually eat. Id go some place else. Id have been ok with it if I could have at least found five things that still had decent food in them. Not sure why they wouldnt put out anymore cheese cake, but that was the final tipping point. Try Olive Garden or some place else. This place isnt worth the price.

I’m a frequent customer and I always have Rosy serve me but she was busy so I got another server named Destiny! And let me just say wow great waitress! Very polite, happy and always with a smile and made sure my table was always clear and my cup was always full! Rosy and her are now my top two favorites! Well let me tell you the experience that I got in Golden Corral Buffet. We went to serve our food. OMG guess what food was cold. I spoke to the supervisor she didnt do anything about it I told her to resolve this issue she didnt. Worker on the salads everything was empty told the if they can get me some veggies and more for the salad. Told supervisor she didnt do anything to resolve this problem.

Lots of food to choose from. Tonight they were really busy big group of 40 plus preteen too early teenage age range some some organization. Some of this food was out but it did not take them very long to refill the empty trays. Overall Im happy dining here and I do dine here often.

Very poor experience this time. We hadnt been there in a while so when we got a coupon we tried them again. We should have gone to a different location maybe it would have been better. They had no plates and the soup bowls had soup spilled all over them, and they didnt change them for clean. The drink person didnt know what regular iced tea is, I got some weird drink and had to change it. They said they had lemons but they had lines and nobody knew the difference. Many of the employees didnt speak English which made it difficult for us. Most of the food bins were empty and we had to wait. About the only thing I liked was the guy cooking the steak really knew what he was doing (this time). But the meat had a lot of tough tendons and fat. So glad we had a coupon and didnt pay full price.

I really enjoyed my meal with many vegetables (both cooked or raw) and meats. I especially enjoyed the meatloaf (I went for seconds.) Desserts were fresh and ranged from cakes and pies, to fruits and ice cream. Something for everyone!

The food was good! Just the right amount of GMO. Thought for a second I was going to have to scrap with the 400# woman for the last piece of fried chicken. However, being a gentleman, I let her have it and went and got some steak instead. She needed that chicken to keep that girlish figure.....so much better for you than beef and all.

Never been here before but I really enjoyed it. Very clean, great service and food was delicious. It was a bit busy but hey they must be doing something right.

The server we had was wonderful. She was attentive and consistently removed dirty dishes from all the tables. She offered drink refills without having to be flagged down and was quick when asked for something. The food trays were kept full and I observed the staff changing out the serving utensils periodically. The dinner prices seem a little steep for a buffet, but you cant beat the variety.

Usually I find Golden Corral to be pretty good, but tonight I was absolutely unhappy. This was the first time we have been to this location. Not happy. I think they forgot to cook or steam the cauliflower because it was just warm and like eating it raw, and the same goes for the fried zucchini. The slices were either super mushy or hard, take your pick. The meatloaf was grizzly and way too salty. The only thing that didnt disappoint was the chocolate pie. Just not a good visit.

We had dinner it was good until we got to the sweet part my girl had some chocolate cake and when she was half way done she noticed there was some ants coming out of the cake I told the manager and she said she was going to check the deserts section to see if they were actually coming out of their cake🙄I got very desapointed when she came back to let us know that the rest of the cake had no ants that maybe they were coming from the table we were sitting at or from somewhere else, I dont know if she tried to say that we put those little animals there but she made us feel bad.

Great day to visit Golden Corral. Crowd was minimum. Food was amazing, so much food selection. Our waitress, Vanessa was amazing. I will definitely return with my family.

My friend and I had a good visit there. I had the fried chicken with spinach and it was delicious. The restaurant was very clean and I will be going back soon. I recommend this place to my friends and family members and if you are looking for an outing visit there. Prices are fare.

This place is great to bring your family that wants a variety of foods.They have a great salad and desserts bar, everything from steak to seafood available.About $16 for an adult (a little pricey) and children up to 12 are age based pricing.

Love the steak and they finally got the ribs right. Perfect amount of smoke flavor plus all the other sides and entrees.

Food was absolutely terrible, cant even describe what it tasted like. We went there yesterday (Friday 2/1/19) My mom & I are dealing with the events of food poisoning from this place. Definitely dont recommend

The food was not so good today. It seemed as if the restaurant is trying to save money. The selection of salads was mediocre, the fruit selection was even worse. The mashed potatoes were stuck to the pan and tasted old. It was just not a good visit. Hope they get back to what they were before.

Dirty bowls and plates. 6 bowls in a row at dessert station had left over food. Over heard another customer complaining about dirty plates. Waitress came around once. French fries appeared to be from day previous and reheated. Food not frequently replenished. Clearly more staff is needed. Will never return to this location again. Other locations prove to be significantly better. My kids complained about lack of variety. Beyond disappointed.

I dont hate this place. Im used to going out and have a waitress ask me if Im OKAY DO I NEED ANYTHING 2-3 times while Im dinning.I was there for 90 minutes and the waitress Maria ask me 7, 7 times do I need anything can she get me anything? Yes how about some space, I use two canes to get around, I only took one in with me so I could get my plate of food with my other hand. The time to ask if I needed any thing was when I was carrying a plate of food, not when I was seated and eating.I dont like being bothered when Im eating. 7 times asking me if all was OKAY do I need anything was 4 times TOO many for me.

Always enjoy going to Golden Corral. Monica at the Surprise restaurant greets customers and makes them feel welcome. We always try to get Armando (sp?) as our waiter. He is EXCELLENT!!

Golden Corrals are ALWAYS a great place to eat with our family...this night the place was packed and the employees seemed annoyed at that fact with sour faces. The steak grill person that night didnt seem to know how to cook a steak so I wasnt pleased like usual. The salad bar was sloppy with the ingredients overlapping one another.

Great service and great food! They are packed on Sunday afternoons after church but they still get you seated pretty quickly. The food was great!

The Service was very good. The food alot of it wasnt tasting good. I would never go back the woman cooking was also in the bakery area making treats. They were very short staffed. The Golden Corral on Northern and 55th Has the best food.

In my opinion one simply cannot go wrong dinning buffet style-especially if you are feeding a crowd.This is the only Golden Corral location I visited and I like it. The Waitresses are constantly on their feet cleaning and keeping things orderly. There is no food on the floor or excess left on the tables after patrons Departed.

Golden Corral usually has great and tasty food on their menu. Perhaps the chicken been kinda dry the last time but you cant go wrong with their steaks!

Their barbecue chicken is just spectacular and their grilled shrimp follows close behind. Their mashed potatoes and gravy are also very well made and consistent throughout. There are a variety of side dishes to chose from and a great selection when it comes to salad toppings, not that anybody cares about salad toppings at a buffet but its worth mentioning. They also have oddly delightful dishes, from shrimp burritos to peach topped waffles. The only minor criticism I have is for the awkwardly colorful plates which make you feel like you are a mental hospital. The dessert is also very disappointing which is a shame considering how good the food is. It is well worth the money if you have built up an appetite.

Not as many choices as I am used to but fast and courteous service at the table. Consistent pricing. The buffet had several options that needed to be refilled. The bathrooms and table areas were very well kept.

This place is going downhill since it first opened a few years back. Couldnt get a knife to save my life. I had to talk to at least 10 different people before I finally got one. Theme for giving drink refills. The servers never picked up our dirty plates... Not even once!. Food with low quality. And it was very dirty. Very disappointed

We had a banquet here. The staff was helpful and friendly. The food selection was the reason we chose this place. We had 20 high school girls.

The two servers working at 3:30pm today in front of the sweets bar were very rude. One of the servers wearing colorful makeup acted like it was a bother to serve us because we didnt speak Spanish. Also she asked if we needed refills we stated we did and she forgot then came back around and asked again if we needed refills. At one point I asked the other server if she could get me some water and she gave me a dirty look and said well Ill tell your server. I was unaware that she wasnt working our table, I figured she was serving the table across from us so she could possibly help. Havent been here in a while and not sure Ill be coming back if customer service is this bad.....on a good note the woman that gave us our drinks when we paid was amazing. She was very nice and polite.

I cant begin to say enough about Golden Corral. The staff are the best. Everyones favorite restaurant. I love the variety of foods. Whether you came to ratty....or you came to get a good meal. You can count on this restaurant to be your families favorite eating out. Everyone will find what they like even if you are a picky eater.

We did not see any server for the first 30 minutes we were there. We needed to put tables together but there was no one to ask so we did it ourselves. I did enjoy the catfish and some of the shrimp( some of them were really tough). But we had to ask where the cocktail and tartar sauce was. They were nowhere near the food you eat them on. They were all the way at the end of the salad bar next to the restrooms. No one would be able to figure that out by themselves. The steak was pretty good.

I want to please w this location today when we went here. The burgers were burned, food was slow to come out, no yellow lemons only limes, no pepperoni for the salad. The only good thing was the waitress who was very fast & nice to us & the customers she served.I usually go to the one off of Glendale & will go to that one instead of this location.

So many options and they change some things up seasonally so theres always a lot of savory variety. Attentive servers. Free refills, but you have to ask the server. Be prepared to gain some pounds!
