We wnt to the Harry Potter event they hosted it was so fun and immersive. The architecture and everything really felt out of place in downtown Phoenix but it was a really cool environment.

This Venue is awesome! It was amazing for our wedding and we truly enjoyed the experience. You will work with Mary, the events coordinator at the center, and shell be you POC every step of the way, including your event day! Mary cares about making your day special and will offer up her knowledge and experience with weddings at the center. Youll get great prices, and shell even work with you on the bar menu! The best thing is there are no extra fees here and its straightforward since its a non-profit building and organization! The space does become your playground being able to bring in vendors you want for your day. You feel like youre getting married in a castle here and the courtyard provides the best outdoor wedding vibe! Our guests loved the look and were astounded that place like this exists right in the heart of Phoenix. The center also puts on several programs and events throughout the year to visit!

I probably do not have enough space to write about how exceptional this place is. First, the location is gorgeous and extremely unique. Second, Mary Moriarty is a fantastic, very caring individual. My fiance and I were planning to do our ceremony here and had to cancel because of the pandemic. Mary has worked with us on finding solutions every step of the way. She truly does care about people and wants what is best for them. We hope to do a vow renewal or something at the library, but they will always have our support. It has been a pleasure working with Mary and the people of the library. All around a fantastic place and fantastic experience!

Not what I thought it would be. I thought maybe it would have some Irish castle decor. It was very modern inside. The cottage only took maybe 10 minutes to look at. Really only good if you are Irish and want to do your ancestry. The whole upstairs is a library with computers and books to look up family.

Stop by the Irish Cultural Center to get a tour of the replica of an Irish cottage. The architecture of the castle imitates Norman less in Northern Ireland and houses the library. The library is free to visit and a facsimile of the Book of Kels with explanations is on display.

This was a gorgeous location for a wedding! The atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxing. It didn’t feel like I was near the busy city of Phoenix. My only complaint was the parking situation. It was difficult to find and I would recommend parking at the park nearby instead.

It looks very nice from the outside. It looks like a Medieval castle with its stone tall walls and the arching gate. Once there, I was however, unsure of how to get the actual museum entrance. Luckily someone pointed me to the visitor center which is a small room with one desk. The front desk lady was very kind and welcoming; she pointed me to where I should go for the tour, and gave me a brief overview of the buildings. The tour goes to the library and the cottage. I didnt stay for the cottage tour as I was feeling a bit tired. The library has 2 floors. On the first floor, there is an exhibit about a book and there are multiple rooms of books. From there, you can take the elevator or stairs up the second floor. There is a room with computers and there are also maps/books so you can research your Irish roots. Next to that room was another exhibit halls about Latin-Americans in the Irish culture. It was mostly posters of the famous people with a biography of them. There were also 3 glass-encased exhibits with some old artifacts in them. The displays were a bit too text heavy to read and I felt my attention wavering...I will admit though the library and center is very nicely maintained and its impressive all the books they have about the history and roots of Irish culture. I will also give them an extra star as the tour guide really gave it more than this best during the tour. He is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge and very patient and welcoming too.
