Best hotel in Philadelphia! Super clean! Friendly staff that are knowledge and well spoken. Easy in and out and good restaurants in walking distance or a short drive. Its quick to the city and far enough youre not in traffic around the hotel. Cheap parking! The rooms are standard size but very cozy and comfortable. I dare you to try and stay awake. You will fall asleep with ease.

Ive stayed at this Marriott several different times over the past few months to be closer to my husband who was hospitalized. Very pleased overall. Staff very friendly and helpful. Always greeted with a smile. Bed very comfortable and my room was clean. Air conditioner worked great despite extremely hot weather. Lobby and hallways clean. I extended my stay a few times and the staff was very accommodating. Ordered food multiple times and it was always very good. Although my days traveling back and forth to the hospital were stressful, coming back to my room was always a calm and relaxing experience. If I need to stay in the area again, I will be staying at the Marriott knowing thati can be assured of an enjoyable stay.

If you stay for a few days you definitely will love it Im sure!The hotel was clean, well placed and easily accessible. Couldnt mobile check-in, front desk staff were not very professional and also struggling to do the basics (e.g., setting up our room keys). Large group of housekeepers goofing off in the hallway; could barely get around them and the hallway was lined with laundry bins. Mold in the shower and poorly cleaned sink. Bathroom was missing some of the basics, such as a bathmat. Waited for several minutes at the bar at night while we could hear the kitchen and bistro staff talking and not checking for customers. Dramatically understaffed bistro on a Saturday morning as well with really long wait times. It feels like the management across multiple departments isnt keeping an eye on the quality of work from their employees. An overall intolerable experience for a business-centered Courtyard Marriott at ~$300/night.

My room was absolutely filthy and management has avoided contacting me about it. Hair and skin in all of the towels. Stains and hair on the bed sheets. Black mold and pink mold in the shower. Soaps and conditioners were empty. The shower drain was clogged.I don’t think I’ve ever been more displeased at a hotel. And I’ve been in some bottom of the barrel places. I am almost exclusively a Marriott Hotel guy, so I am shocked by how terrible the stay was.All I needed was a place to sleep after being too exhausted to travel further at the time. I would have been better off at a motel 6

I booked this room on a whim, I was passing through philadelphia and when I looked online it was 1 of 2 hotels in the area I was going to be at with a pool and breakfast included (the pool is down for a maintenance issue and the hotel front desk does not know when it will be up and running) (breakfast is not included and is only available for purchase). The room was not clean and was missing important essentials like towels, hand soap, coffee bar was empty, sheets for the pull out bed (which was not adequate size I think 26). When I called the front desk for sheets it took them about an hour to send them up. There is peeling paint on ceiling. The carpet & couch have stains all over. It took about 5 minutes for the hot water in the shower to kick in. Not all was bad, the beds were comfortable and the AC works well, and 2 quarters fell out of the pull out bed so I guess that was a bonus - the ownership and management of the property can use a good refresher course in hotel management

Could have had a microwave in the room. But I liked it

August 2021 The room we were originally checked into was not cleaned, we had to switch rooms. The room we switched to was cleaner but there were other guests dirty wash cloths drying on the shower curtain rod. There was a used rubber glove in the elevator on the floor.The Front desk people were very polite.

So we checked in. The sink in the bathroom didnt drain. No tissues. The phone didnt work. There was no information in the room about the hotel or amenities. The third phone worked, but still didnt charge in the holder. Soap in the shower, empty. Trying to figure where the ice machine was, called the front desk 3 different times and put on hold or they didnt answer. Hopefully we wont need to come back!

Positive: Easy to get around to where I was going and easy to get to from I-76 Negative: Thought the room was a bit musty, the ice machine was broken on my floor so had no ice, and the bed looked like it was stained with blood. Got pretty grossed out by that with the cover coming off the bed, so I ended up just sitting on the couch.

Limited gluten free selection in the bistro. The server was highly uneducated about Celiac Disease. HOWEVER, the chef personally spoke with me (unprompted) after researching his menu and informed me of what was safe/not safe for me. Hell. Yeah. Enjoyed a very delicious quinoa, rice, chicken, and arugula salad with a lemon vinaigrette that wasnt overly vinegary.

NOT up to Marriott Standards, Over charged, Im a Marriott guy, but this is a nasty Marriott!

The room was horrible! The shower had dirty & grim in it. Once the water ran for 30 seconds, the drain would fill up & clog. Called the front desk & it took them 2 days to come fix it. The bedsheets are cheap & rough. My niece broke out on her face from the sheets. We decided to check the bedding, pulled the fitted sheets off the mattress to find a very, disgusting & dirty mattress beneath. The mattress was covered in yellow stains and there was not a mattress cover/protector on either of the beds. Just despicable!! We checked out early and found a different hotel, which was 10 times better. I’m very disappointed in the Marriott.

Hotel rooms are dirty, stains everywhere. the shower, toilet, and sink was all perfectly left uncleaned. They told me this room slipped thru the crack, we normally dont miss rooms. They gave me a second room that was just as bad. To top it off, there were two escorts on my floor going to town all night.

Ive only dealt with employees in passing and they seem happy and kind. It appears they keep up with cleaniness.

Great hotel, super friendly staff. Very clean rooms, so many restaurants near by. You can walk to TGIF, Target and Chipotle. Other restaurants really close, olive garden, five guys and chilis. Theres a nice pool and bar. Lots of room to hang out in the lobby and office space. Good parking too. Beds are so comfy.

It was decent. The AC was great in the room but the blanket on the bed was basically a sheet.Very thin. They cut a lot of corners on some things. My wife wasnt impressed

Really enjoyed myself there. Only issue I had was with the thermostat. First it was too warm then it got too cold. And the prices at the little canteen was crazy.

Horrible hotel, horrible customer service all the girls are rude as hell and not helpful whatsoever. Rooms are subpar, no microwave in room, showers are dirty. Brought us a playpen with no mat inside of it telling us they didn’t know where it was, charged my card twice unauthorized and told I would receive a refund for it but they still took it out of my account and now I’m having to dispute with my bank. Location isn’t that great either, seen a guy almost run over a TGI Friday’s employee in the parking lot. Just sucks. worst Marriott I’ve ever stayed in.

Darren was excellent beyond excellent! He went above and beyond for my family.We were staying because our son was having surgery at CHOP. We had a minor issue with our first room. He instantly moved us and even gave us a discount which I wasnt Expecting!We were very pleased with our stay.We checked out in the morning and unexpectedly came back Later that evening because of complications. We stopped to see if they had another room available For us to stay in...he quickly squeezed us in And got us extra essentials quicker than expected. He made our stay very enjoyable and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. If it wasnt for him I dont know what we would do!! So thank you again, this man was a blessing! 5Stars!!

Not sure if Covid impacted the quality AND service but I would NOT stay here again.Room was ok but the check-in experience and overall guest experience did not meet expectations. Ive been a Marriott customer for 30+ years and this was one of my worst experiences.Customers were loitering in the hotel hallways and it smelt like I was attending a Marijuana Festival.The air conditioner in the room wasnt working properly and the towels felt like scratch pads.

We always stay here when we go to the Dell music center a nice motel and its 10 minutes from the music center

The staff was great and very accommodating. The problem was that the room we were first given, the bathroom door didnt close all the way. Really the bathroom doors in all of the rooms are very odd. They slide, and seem to leave a small crack open when fully closed.

So far good. Nice facility Friendly staff that is helpful with everything Pizza delivery was almost impossible lol 😆

Bad hotel, dirty room and hallways and elevators so dirty they don’t even vacuum. There was not a trash can in the room or soap. Our room was not clean and the fridge had stuff from previous guest. Hairs in the bathroom. Disappointed we paid a high rate.

6/14/2021We’ve noticed that our bed comforter is dirty.I have called to get it replaced first time around noon.Long story short, after 5 calls and every time getting the same answer (the comforter is in the dryer) finally someone brought a comforter at 10:45pm.The comforter they said was in the dryer came iced cold and dirty the same as the one I had.I’m not sure what’s their problem but they are not saying the whole story.Not happy

Lovely hotel and room. Nice in lobby quick food choices. Very close to Temple hospital if you have a family member there. Fridays restaurant in parking lot and other food choices Nearby.

My home away from home. Its very clean and staff is very good.

No way to control cooling unit. The fan was on so high I had to cover it with a pillow! Made it uncomfortable at times. Had to ask for some basics. Hotel is actually nice but the service was.. Lacking

Clean and well located place if you don’t need to be downtown. Had to call again to have them honored the free breakfast I was offered and that was a hassle.

Nice overall, an breakfast was good. The bathrooms in the room have a odd handle on the sink, only one hook for towels (had to hang the 2nd towel over the shower curtain rod), and no cups (used the coffee cups).

Amazing stay. Great environment. Breakfast was great. Just a few minutes walk to Times Square.

The hotel is beautiful. but minor problems like the body wash bottle was near empty and extremely hard to get a bit of liquid and there were 2 ants one on language face towel but staff is unusually accommodating

EDIT: right before checkout at around 10AM, the hotel lost power, and we were on the top floor, so we waited a while for the power to come back. The phone lines were dead, and the hallway and the staircase were as dark as a scene from Resident evil 2. Arent hotels supposed to have some kind of emergency power generators? Even the Fire EXITs were offline and dark, no emergency lights. Luckily we have phone torches in this day and age and we just made two trips to the car to move all of our stuff and checked out.I know it is a three star hotel so I will compare it with 3 star standards.1) Booked king, and this bed is shorter than a queen for some reason.2) Cleanliness: Hair on bathroom floor, used soap bar in bathtub. In general, the bathroom looked dirty and old (crevices).3) Not enough towels on arrival but we got them delivered.4) In all hotels, there are 4 to 5 pillows, this one only had 3.5) Didnt have a safe box for valuables.6) Bathroom layout sucks, they should prioritize customer comfort, and that toilet paper placement is no good.7) No extra blankets or pillows either for the sofabed.They have an otherwise nice looking room.

Worst stay ever. Ashley was very helpful at check in. But during my stay hotel lost power for hours and we had no heat, lights, or electricity. All my food in fridge went bad, almost fell trying to shower in the dark, and could not navigate the pitch black stairways to try and exit. Asked the front desk staff to be compensated or partial refund and they refused. Said it was not their problem blame the city. Will not return. Had a similar experience at the Hilton and they compensated us.

Nice rooms. Wish the bistro was open during our stay. Tgi fridays in same parking lot. Panera bread across the street. Longhorn across the other side of the street. Target ls next door I think you have to walk around the other side to get in not sure. Right off 76 on rt 1.

It’s very clean smells really good.my sheet and blanket smelled really good, my bathrooms was really clean like if I was home. She was really nice and helpful and I was staying on the 4 floor. I do believe her name was Octavia and she have the same last name as me what a Shocker. I give her a 10. I never stayed at a hotel that was this clean thank u

Arrived at check in and they didnt have a king size bedroom (which we reserved). We settled for 2 queens because we didnt want to wait an EXTRA hour! Our FIRST room smelt of straight cigarettes! They moved us and our second room doesnt have a working aor condition system! Its 70° outside anf literally 80° inside our room. One of the worst experiences that Ive had. They say theire going to send an engineer up but they know its a problem because there was literally a BOX FAN sitting outside! Why would you give this room knowing its a problem!

Was very Dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms. I 1st checked into Room on the 6th floor and it was clearly not cleaned. there was dust, fingerprints, crumbs,, and things on the walls and floors.. I asked to be switched to another Room. Which they did without a problem. once I went to the other Room on the 7th floor, it was even worse.. there items left in the drawers from whoever stayed there last as we, though food in the warm fridge, floors were dirty, and so was the bathroom.

Our short stay of two nights was really nice. The Courtyard is nice, clean and quiet. Will recommend a stay at the hotel to my friends and colleagues. Question though, why did we have to pay for parking on the premises?

Ashley at the front desk was extraordinarily superb, beyond helpful & extremely attentive to our needs while we were in town for a funeral. She did a phenomenal job with everything we needed.

Covid-19 impacted many hotels and this is no exception with limited service and barely maintained common areas. My rooms were on the 6th and 4th floors due to issues with the TV not working with the remote and hallways were not vacuumed. The inside elevators were quite dirty and didnt look too be cleaned on a regular basis. Its not a place I would want to stay until they address this.

The lobby smelled strongly of cologne, initially i thought it may be due to a guest, no, it appears thats their deodorizer. Instant headache due to sensitivity to strong odors. Then surprised to find out they charge their guest $10 per night for parking, a bottle of water was $4.00 and worse, had to call upon my return for clean towels, the room was not cleaned or beds dressed while out during the day. First and last time ill be staying, have even stayed at a Hotel 6 in the past and was provided better service.

One of the worst hotel stays we have ever had. This must be the headquarters for pot heads, that is all we could smell. We had our 11 year old daughter with us. Do not take your children here. The hallways were disgusting, the ac air filter was caked with dust, and the elevators reeked of pot and cigarette smoke.

Ahhhhhhh, awesome room, comfy bed, restaurants in the parking lot, service with a smile! A great way to end a long day away from home!

Called the hotel and was sent to reservations. Asked about the Jefferson College discount and was told yes that it was applied to my quote. When I checked in they said I booked through a third party, huh? I called the hotels number and got reservations.The woman behind the counter said that sine I booked through a third party I could not get the discount. Wait, I called this hotel, the woman on the phone confirmed that I was getting a Jefferson discount and then the front desk said, NO!Clean hotel, nice rooms but not even trying to make it right is a reason to not return and give 2 stars.

We had a room for 4 people and only had 1 towel for showering, 2 coffee pods that werent decaf, and when we called for more they just left the bag outside the room and left with no extra creamer. The room was also way too cold and no instructions on how to turn down the ac. My husband had to figure out the thermostat instead of turning down the ac unit. Not a great experience.

My friends and I came here for a little girls night. The staff was friendly and engaging. The location is prime considering target is walking distance along with good places including Fridays. The hotel was clean and had a fresh smell. They offer free parking which is always a plus. I would definitely come back

Had a power outage for almost the entire stay. They did not offer to relocate us and I had to fight to get back 1/2 of our refund. Totally unacceptable.

Room was clean and nicely furnished. Front desk staff were friendly and checking in and out was easy and quick. Overall, had a quiet and uneventful night. The staff at the hotel bistro for breakfast were quick and professional, but the evening staff were not. I went to the hotel bistro at 8:30pm to get dinner before heading to bed and preparing for my meeting in the morning. One of the servers forgot to put in my food order, but did remember my drink order. I ended up waiting an hour and a half for food that was never coming, gave up, and went to Chipotle. After the first hour, I asked a different server about my food order. For some reason, she thought I didnt want my food anymore and never put in the order. The server told me she had wondered why I was sitting there for an hour not finishing my drink, yet didnt have the initiative to go an ask me if there was anything wrong. Honestly, Ive had better service from a fast-food drive-through than from the three servers working the bistro bar that evening.

First room was dirty so I had to switch rooms second room was a little better, there were time slots that you had to sighn up for to go in the pool it was supposed to be 2 families and the front desk was allowing 4 and 5 families in at a time which was not fun, ice machine broken
