There was odd smell in the room. A better cleaning job would have earned 5 stars. The front desk receptionist was great and attentive. Overall it was a good experience.
Clean, nice stuff, and good food. The Rooms are clean, and the service was excellent. The stuff are very nice and very helpful especially Furkan and Melek. At the check in Furkan showed us the breakfast area and the Lounge area which it was very comfy, and also spent a lot of time showing me nice places to visit. Melek was very helpful. She booked a pcr test for us where they come to the hotel and do the test. Also she requested a taxi driver for us a day before our trip.I have been to a lot of hotels and this hotel is my second favorite one after Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver Canada.I highly recommend this hotel.Thank you!
Very rude receptionist. Called and hung up on me. Saying he dont have information about the booking .that I should check online on 3rd party website 🤔. Makes me wonder what his job is in the hotel if they cannot provide the information we need. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. glad I did not end up staying there.
Nice and clean. The room was spacious. I will stay again. I only needed one night. But it can be my little escape for the weekend or mid week id i dont want to be home
Enjoyed my stay. Excellent location but rooms were basic and really no amenities. Parking is not included buy theres a convenient pay lot across the street.
Really nice! It is walking distance to many different sights and food. Beautiful area and super clean rooms.
Room was up to date, clean, staff was great, had enough towels, and toiletries. Very comfortable setting.
We enjoyed our stay. The front desk young lady was very pleasant. I forgot and left my phone charging in the lobby and by the time so realized it and called the hotel, she had already put it away for me. One downfall, walls very thin. We heard our neighbors in the room next door from 1:30am til 4:00am go thru arguing to freakness to arguing to freakness. Smh. Aside from that, good stay, clean room and reasonably priced.
In the inner city, no thankyou. I was scared & 1 of the beds looked like there was BM on the top cover. Disgusting. Shower was great.
Clean, quiet, the people at front desk were nice and helpful. The only complaint is they tried to charge my card for room when it was already paid for smh
Nice hotel the only downside is no refrigerator or microwave in the rooms
Four Points is really a great place to stay. Loved it.
Very rude welcome desk (she kept talking over her airpods and banged the speaker on the desk while helping us to check-in)Another woman knocked our door and yelling room service just 1hr after our check-in. After she figured out she got the wrong unit, she walked away directly without apologizing or saying anything at all!At ~11:30pm, we were woken by the alarm telling us the evacuate the building immediately because of emergency! While we were putting on our pants, the alarm stopped...Otherwise, the place was good.
Would have given 5 stars, if not for the ease of parking, especially on busy street in a city, ...sekf pay across street, one way, $38. For 24 hrs, & guy taking care overnight ..,.but room was great, nice, very clean, comfortable beds and pillows, no food drinks because of covid still, but ok, just coffee wish was better, but for price in center city, very happy
Beautiful room and comfy bed. Only downside is no onsite parking.
Very nice place. Will stay here again when in Philadelphia.
Nice hotel. Close to main events. Really nice rooms.
Didnt live upto sheraton standards
Good customer service and the rooms were very clean and the beds amazing.
Staff is horrible. Extremely rude and took over well over an HOUR just to secure a hotel room late at night because she didn’t know what she was doing. Also found a ginormous toenail on the floor by my bed.
Nice receptionist and a very good room!
Good room, decent rate.
Positive: Awesome location, everything great for the most part. Negative: King bed room did not have microwave or fridge. Also, the same housekeeper came knocking on my door hours before check-out asking if I was staying another day. I politely informed her both times that checkout was at noon, and thats when Id be leaving.
Clean and very well located! Great, friendly staff.
Meh, clean, no private parking. $35.00 a day to park
Introductions mean everything. My initial introduction to this particular Sheraton was horrific. Greeted at the door by a long line and police for dispute between mngmt/associates and a exiting guest. The cashier was a pregnant lite complexion African American. She was flustered, rude, disgruntled, and offensive. Accuses me of stealing their chips at the end of long day... Ms. MARRIANE came out with no investigation and dismissed me with disdain.. no compassion for a reservation not found due to priceline and sheraton four points.. I demand a care package sheraton... I am a seasoned appreciated Hilton DC employee. This is the beginning of a trail of Ink...Sincerely,Mr. No Reservation
They are following COVID 19 regulations. Great location, in short walking distance from parking, convention center and restaurants.
Positive: Clean rooms..great location downtown. Negative: Microwave in room would be great
ExcellentI was able to get some restPeace and quiet. The bathroom was very cleanThe room was clean The staff was greatThey had great customer service skills. They answered all my questionsThey allowed me to have the freedom to enjoy my stay at the hotel I felt safe and it was nothing to worry about. They made me feel at homeand thats very very good. The staff was excellentThey allowed me to have my peace of mind.I needed to take a break and rest it was quiet and peaceful no one bothered me. Thats very important allowing the customer to be themselves and have there privacy.Privacy is extremely importantI felt welcome It was affordableAffordable is another important issue.
We found the Four Points Sheraton clean and comfortable. Staff was very attentive and we ate there twice during our stay (dinner & breakfast). Parking was across the street but we could always see & get to our vehicle. We never had an issue getting a parking spot close to front door. Rooms were small but clean and well maintained. Perfect location for us going to Temple University game & walking to sites. Also near convention center.
Multiple types of food to eat in one location. Plenty of Veagan and Vegetarian options.
Nice centrally located hotel.
Nice receptionist very helpful and polite.
This Sheraton is part of the visitPhilly package that seemed attractive. The thing I liked least about this hotel was the location. It was hard to get to it because it is on the corner of streets which are one way. There is no driveway and you must park your car in front of hotel to unload baggage. There is a parking lot across the street which charges $75.00 for two nights. Luckily the hotel gave us a credit for that amount after I presented the parking receipt to them. The neighborhood seemed safe enough but did not seem like an area that I would want to walk around. The hotel restaurant was decent with good service, but relatively expensive which is to be expected. The rooms were small but clean and quiet. The lobby area was very small and cramped compared to most hotels. The staff was very kind and helpful. I would give it a 3 stars out of 5.
It was comfortable .. no microwave or fridge.. shower head isnt removable . The staff was ok..room was clean.
It was nice I would stay again,
Not clean, phone broken, cold air blowing, could not get heat to work, and shower warm but not hot. 1st night neighbors tv was so loud could not sleep, 530 in morning called front desk and they came up and asked them to lower volume on tv. An unpleasant stay.
Excellent service from every staff and clerk I had any interactions with thru the entire 5 nites I stayed.. Very immaculate rooms and hotel.. Modern and classy rooms..Will be back! Thank you guys!!
They need more clean customers.
Great stay, clean room, A1 customer service! Definitely will stay again! Shout out to the entire staff! Thank you.
The stay was all good except they didnt have plastic utensils I ordered Chinese from uber eats it was missing from my order I ask the front desk earlier claiming they have none available so iam suppose to walk 4 blocks to 711 for a fork and spoon which was ignorant that she a spoon for Nissin cup of noodles when I left out at midnight I ask the other clerk he telling me they didnt have thos in days weeks on all hotels got plastic utensils in packs complete with salt and pepper that didnt no sense
A great hotel. No hassle, and the room was clean.
First time staying at this Marriott property. The rooms are clean. The location is great. I want to give a huge shout out to Kim who was working the front desk on 2/12/20. I lost my phone charger and he loaned me his personal over night so that I could charge up. Outstanding customer service. Keep it up Kim!
Positive: Nothing Negative: I room wasnt correct
Theyre okay for a quick getaway
I learned that the General Manager must be treating his employees extremely well at this hotel because EVERY encounter I experienced with the staff was kind and responsive. You can tell that these folks like their jobs and like the customers. I would like to especially acknowledge Fredericka at the Front Desk who went above and beyond the call of duty by informing me of the Visit Philly Package - what a great deal. I have special dietary requirements and she made sure that I was able to properly store my food in a refrigerator. Frederika on the front desk is in a class of customer service by herself. Simply the best.Per my request, the housekeepers came early to clean the room and did an EXCELLENT JOB!! Very clean room. The engineer/maintenance folks came to the room several times to fix stuff and all had a positive, can do attitude. I cant believe that one guy asked me how my stay was going? I couldnt believe it.
Hotel is located in Center City and very convenient to client location and restaurants. The Front Desk Clerk, Paige, was very helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel is not a modern/upgraded Marriott property, so much of the decor is not as new as one would expect. The room was clean and spacious. Prefer the standalone shower versus the bathtub at this location. The food is adequate for a quick bite if you dont have time to experience a local restaurant.
The trip was short, however everything was easily accessible and being on one of the main side streets it was still quiet. The beds are extremely comfortable. My only recommendation would be additional lighting in the room and the HVAC was not blowing warm air on the 20 degree night. The staff were friendly during every interaction and genuinely invested in my experience during my stay. I would stay there again.
Positive: The bed were comfortable Negative: For kids breakfast small scoop of eggs, 1 sausage patty, 2 mini waffles which came cold cost $36 definitely not worth it.
Welcoming and good place to stay.
Very nice staff
The hotel was clean and well maintained. I only required a place for the night. The dinner menu was limited and the food was fair at best; i did not finish or enjoy as much as anticipated. The only waitress was the bartender and she was focused on other bar patrons more than serving food. At the time i was there, i was the only one eating. There were many homeless folks near the hotel and it made walking outside (7-9pm) unnerving.
All right...….in Philly on business for a 1 night stay, and wouldnt you know it...….theres heavy duty street construction going on right in front of the hotel. Im on the 3rd floor so Im hearing everything. Yeah Yeah......not the hotels fault, but you know what Im saying!!Anyway, the hotel is a good spot, pantry, breakfast, and dinner are available. All the standard amenities. Parking for cars is outdoors, across the street. Not the greatest situation but thank goodness the weather was good.
Staff very nice clean rooms
Positive: Quiet, clean. Negative: Parking not included, a little expensive
Positive: Stellar Staff, great location also very Beautiful rooms I would recommend to anyone.
We had a great time staying at the Four Points by Sheraton City Center as it was very convenient to all of the sites and the Reading Terminal Market. The hotel staff were great - SO friendly, and the hotel itself was very nice. We would definitely return to this hotel during a future trip to the city.
Not good.. I wouldnt sleep there again
I enjoyed my stay at this facility and would definitely return to stay again. It is accessible to public transportation and to many of the local Philadelphia attractions and transportation centers. I.E. The Reading Terminal Market, City Hall, Jefferson train station, several bus and trolley lines. The Liberty Bell, Constitution Center, and a few museums are in close walking distance. There are local houses of worship in walking distance as well. Several restaurants, bars and clubs are close by as are stores such as Target, Marshalls, Old Navy, Macys, Urban Outfitters and others. The hotel borders China Town which has a variety of eateries, shops and cultural events.
Negative: No heat in room, ceiling leaking in bathroom
Have stayed here about 30 days the past year. Best hotel in Center City due to the staff. Everyone is friendly and engaging. I can understand if you dont have long arms to start the shower. You do have to reach in and turn the handle to get it to hot. That is the not the staffs fault renovating a downtown building that is still beautifully done. Architect had to do what they had to do. The rooms are always clean. I dont visit the restaurant section, but there is always a crowd that make me think they do excellent work there also. So many places within a few city blocks, That is hard competition. Just a great group that will work hard to make sure you enjoy your Center City experience,
We had a great stay! The staff was wonderful, Tanya was fantastic! George at the bar was great! The rooms are a bit small, but nothing worth complaining about. The location is great to get around Philly and NJ, you can walk to tons of places. If you are looking for a place to stay for a concert at BB&T Pavilion, this is perfect. The parking is, well its city parking, it directly across the street for $38 a day. Would definitively stay here again.
My favorite hotel in Philadelphia and I even stayed for nearly 2 weeks. The rooms always smell amazing and the spa is second to none. They offer wonderful room service and all of the staff are great.Don’t forget to check out the restaurants on the property as well. The views alone are worth the price and I would definitely stay again.
This hotel was really good for the price, sure they might not include breakfast and parking is a pain but the beds are comfortable and it was more quite than the Best Western Plus down the street. The hotel is in Chinatown, lots of good food and specialty drinks nearby. Than you got the terminal market literally walking distance. Beds were amazing, the air conditioning worked incredibly. Peaceful stay.
Nice hotel. Room comfort is good. Fit and finish of the room was ok. Would I stay here again? Yes.My room had a cracked sink and the room heater was not working the first day, but started working the following day.Staff was nice and cheerful.Overall a good experience.
Great staff and nice rooms
Nice small hotel in a slightly sketchy part of the city behind the convention center and near the bus station. The rooms are moderately sized and nice with some odd design choices like a round frosted glass window into the bathroom similar to what youd find on a cruise ship (just what a bathroom needs - a window into the main room).
Great stay comfortable room was clean had a great stay
We arrived very late at 330 Am. We were greeted by a very friendly staff, who noting our late arrival and baby in tow gave us a very generous late check out of 1pm which made the visit very pleasant. He was very informative about services like amenities and parking as well. Room in itself seemed a bit dated but the bed was very comfortable making for a very nice sleep.Overall fantastic service! Even when we were leaving reception asked if we needed anything like a taxi or information. We declined but the initiative was pleasant.
Great location, beautiful room. The only issue is my phone wasnt able to use the wifi and why is the towel rack right above the toilet, thats not hygienic. Id definitely come back. The neighborhood behind the convention center is very sketchy with homeless encampments. We witnessed a mentally ill homeless man randomly attack an innocent man by striking him on the head, right by the parking lot by the convention center.
The first time I say hear it wasnt nearly as big as this I checked in relatively late they gave me a room with this rag stuck up in the ceiling I gather thats what the last person left or as dirty as it is I dont know how long its been up there so that means the housekeeping is a mess I was injured this day and the way they handle it was deplorable I checked in around 6:30 p.m. to 7 March 12th and the lady who was at the front desk took about 20 minutes to come open the door closed stroller from out the back with the phone in her hand
Great front desk staff. The check in was pleasant and they had me and friends laughing. The room was cozy with great beds. The bathroom was gorgeous and had a really cool body wash dispenser attached within it. They offer safes inside the rooms as well if needed. Will go back.
When we arrived, the person working the front desk hardly spoke. He mumbled something. After we figured out it was the credit card and ID, he said the elevator is over there. The bar was closed, so we could not get food or drinks. It was opened for a brief time. Our room was okay. Some of the towels were not clean, the toilet was not clean and neither was the sink. It was extremely loud late through the night with people in the hallway. Im not sure what they were doing, but it lasted until 3 AM. The location is nice and so was the parking, however, I wouldnt stay here again for the price.
The Four Points Sheraton is in a great location for central Philly. The staff was awesome!! I am a travel agent and my only problem is they gave me a small corner room that needed more light. The food in the restaurant was good. The staff bent over backwards to help you out!!
I visited Philly for the first time for my birthday weekend. I chose the Sheraton, because it was priced affordable, However I dont like that they charge you extra for having a third person in the room. The accommodations were nice, modern and clean. The fitness room was decent, although they could offer more equipment. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I liked the location.
Hotel is a standard business Hotel with great service (both front desk and other staff). The rooms are small but I never slept better as the bed is very comfortable. Based on previous reviews I was expecting noise at night but I heard nothing. Very pleasantly surprised.
1: lamps / kettle / tv are not working2: only I set of washing package3: booking online only cost you 150$, but I went there cuz I called earlier and front desk said I can just do walk in and turnsout I was charged 200$ compare to 150$ I saw online4: no bottlewater
I was welcomed immediately upon my arrival, Frederica and her staff made my check in process quick and easy as I booked through a third party site. In no time at all, I was in my room and ready to see the sites. The location of this hotel was perfect for me and was in walking distance to many great sites that Philadelphia has to offer. The room was clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here if I ever come back this way.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, close to everything. The bartender George was welcoming and super knowledgeable of the local area. He made our stay even better. We will be back soon
I went to the bar at the corner that was attached to the hotel called Cherry lounge. I had a nice time. It was very quiet. This place serves food but the kitchen closes at 9:30pm on Sundays. I am not sure of the other kitchen hours on other days. The beer was I think $6 . The guy that was serving was a nice older man.. 👱. I enjoyed him. Also the bar serves home made chips for free thats served also.
Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful! This is by far one of the best expedites we have had! This was our first time in Philadelphia and the staff went above and beyond to help us! We will definitely be back! The location was fantastic!
The rooms here feel very nice. Large shower stalls with glass, tall ceilings make the rooms feel big despite limited floor space. Amazing location, especially for the price.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Convenient (paid) parking lot across the street. The hotel was very clean and very updated. Only wish there was a mini fridge in rooms. Wonderful overall stay.
I was happy with this hotel. Its definitely nothing special, but the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and personable. The bar area was nice, really couldnt ask for more. The only thing is, (which the hotel has limited control over) there are lots of homeless people sleeping in the convention center bridge underpass, so there is a strong smell of urine just outside the door to the hotel. The area is not the best either, and I would be wary walking around at night.
No parking provided. Nearby parking is $38. This was not explained when reservation was made. Hotel has heavy loud doors and they slam ALL night long. Beds are lumpy and uncomfortable. Food in restaraunt was subpar. Deposit taken at check in has still not been refunded a week later. Only positive: nice bartenders.
The staff were absolutely amazing. They were friendly and funny and ever so helpful. They were even able to accommodate us with a fridge for our room and a late checkout. Such a convenient location, it was perfect for our stay. Thank you for making it a great one!
The staff were wonderful —friendly, polite and engaging. Beds were comfortable and linens clean. Room was roomy with lots of light. Plenty of heat and great thermostat control. Central location near Reading Market and Chinatown. Quiet and lots of light, heat and room!
I am a Platinum Elite member of Marriott and was surprised by the low rating on this hotel. I found the hotel to be very clean, the hotel bar/restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner, and the fitness center was generally spacious and never crowded. The hotel is also next to the Philadelphia Convention Center making it very convenient for anyone that might have business there.I was most impressed by the service of the entire hotel staff from the front desk staff to the restaurant and bar staff to the maid that cleaned my room. The hotel Manager in particular provided excellent service to all of the guests and leads her team by example.
Convenient to Convention Center and central location for exploring Philly. Friendly and helpful staff with fast, efficient checkin. Room was satisfactory with two beds, upholstered chair and wall tv/desk/ledge combo. It was clean and bathroom was recently remodeled. The hotel is under renovation which caused no disruption or noise. Paid parking lot is conveniently across the street.
I was really happy with this hotel for a seven-day conference stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and had a nice view. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the room service food was tasty and prompt. The location is particularly good. If your conference is only at the convention center, the hotel is right across the street, and you can quickly get under the first-level underpass if it is raining. For huge conferences, youre 0.3 to 0.5 miles from the other hotels with conference space, which is very convenient. For cabs, ask the desk or hail one at Arch and 12th, where theres a lot more traffic. Also, for vegetarians, the location helps, as theres good food available at nearby restaurants (and the hotel restaurant/room service). You can also easily walk to the historical attractions in 15-20 minutes if you need an afternoon away from conference fun.My room faced South and had a nice skyline view. The rooms on that side appear a little smaller on the floor plan, but I think the view is worth it. Using the desk is a bit tight, but I preferred sitting in the comfy chair and using one of the ottomans.
Positive: The rooms Negative: I’m
Great time. Stayed for family wedding. Cozy rooms, great customer service and super location. Will visit again!
Ventilation system isnt sufficient for the restroom or something in the design of the space is leaving the bathrooms to have mold, plumbing issues, damaged seals on shower doors and countless other resulting damages.
Very nice hotel the room size was great and it was very clean including the bathroom. The Wifi kinda sucks it works on and off. A plus for this hotel would be if it had more Amenities for the guest. Like a microwave or a mini fridge but very nice hotel over all. But not close to any good food places.
My husband & I have reservation from Dec 18 to Dec 20 however on our 2nd day stayed, we decided to extend one more day to Dec 21, 2011 because we enjoyed our at this hotel. Day 1 when we arrived at the hotel - we were greeted by a very smiling/friendly front desk person at the reception - Mr Dave. Dave is very nice and certainly very helpful and always got a smile which made our check-in very easy and quick after we driven 2.5hrs. When we get up to room on the 6floors (we do prefers higher floor...Wow! the corridor were cleaned and of course when we stepped in our King room - the modern decor in the room and bathroom. We were very impressed. On our 2nd day, we realized that the housekeeping forgotten to replenish the bath amenities (no hand/face & bath towels in the bathroom) and I called down to the reception and Dave answered the phone and I told him about the bath amenities. Dave politely apologize about the amenities and he said that he will have the housekeeping sent up the bath amenities to our room immediately. Within 5 minutes, the housekeeping (with a smile) sent up all the bath amenities. We were very pleased with their services, thanks to Dave. Great location just 5 minutes walked to Chinatown, places of interests, shopping, market places. We will definitely come back to stay at this hotel for our next trip as we do travel to Phil very frequently on leisure and during those days we stayed in other hotels at Market Street and Arch street. This is our 1st time staying in this hotel but it wont be our last. We do enjoyed our stays at this modern decor hotel.
My husband and I scored a great, last minute reservation and were pleasantly surprised. We were familiar with the area and other hotels near by and consider this one to be quite a find for the price we paid. Parking across the street was about half what weve paid at the Marriott and Loews a block away. We enjoyed the restaurant for a quick bite and drinks before a show at the Electric Factory. The room was clean, comfortable and perfect for an overnight stay in the heart of center city. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
Overall pretty decent hotel. Rooms are a bit small but worked fine. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately WiFi doesn’t really work, but no big deal. Location was within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Nice hotel next to China Town and Philadelphia Convention Center. Hotel and property were clean, I do wish this was continued after you leave the property. Parking lot was located across the street from hotel; wish there was a direct large crosswalk from hotel to parking lot. Overall friendly staff that actually engaged with guests. Would stay again.
I stayed here for work. The staff here are amazing. Everyone was so nice and helped us with everything we wanted or needed. 4 of us were sharing a room on opposite shifts. Fredricka (not sure of the spelling) was always so helpful and friendly along with every person we had contact with managers, bartenders, house keeping. I will definitely stay here again when not in town for work.
