The airport shuttle was a plus. The hotel rooms were larger than the queen rooms Ive stayed in the other hotels. The room was clean and comfortable. We arrived early so our room wasnt ready but the front desk clerk let us know immediately when it was. The bellmanT was very helpful in getting items we needed, telling us that the hotel shuttle could take is to some nearby restaurants to eat, and just overall comic relief. The hotel was very busY with a whole delegation of State Farm reps working on the hurricane relief situation so I had some interesting conversation with some of them. The restaurant was closed due to COVID I guess and there was no free or hot breakfast but they had some reasonably priced items to choose from. One thing that was weird was that we could hear what sounded like a woman crying and wailing from the wall vent. It was a little disturbing but I WOULD DEFINITELYAGAIN.
During the course of our stay. My wife realized that the room we were in had fleas and bed bugs. My wife mentioned it to the front desk staff, and he was like he didnt even care about what she was saying. She also had pictures and video of what she found. He didnt even bother to want to see them. I am writing a very detailed letter to the corporate office. We would like to inform them of that and how the bartender treated us. We are an interracial couple. I guess he didnt like that to much. He told me the next day that she didnt even pay the bill from the night before, witch I know she did because of my bank card being linked to my phone. The higher ups really need to address that.
Positive: I loved the location the most but also, overall it was a very clean and fresh looking environment with a contemporary style and feel.I will certainly visit again. Negative: The room had a balcony but it wasnt accessible, it would have lovely to spend some time on the balcony and enjoy the view. Im not quite sure why that was the case. Hopefully that changes soon.
Positive: I love the layout of the room and how spaces it was because I traveled with my one year old daughter. I also noticed theres a microwave downstairs which is great to warm up my daughters food. Negative: I noticed the room was just spot clean you can see another guest checked out the room thatafter. There brown stains all over the bathroom door.the worse was searching for my daughter missing earring and found a deadbed bug in the sofa.
We parked our cars here and their shuttle drivers were amazing! So helpful so friendly! Mr T thank you for such a superb service to my husband and i. GO COWBOYS!!!!!
Yes the rooms are renovated and the Lobby is very nice. however I would not stay there again they were black hairs on the floor in the bathroom (not ours )and something white( it looked like toothpaste) on the front of the vanity. Until 12 o’clock there was noise coming through the vent in our bedroom. I’ve never had that happen before .it wasn’t the room next-door it was coming through the vent. It sounded like people talking or a TV. There was only one large bath towel. The bathtub drained very slowly and there was conditioner and body lotion but no shampoo they should’ve paid us to stay here
Positive: One of the best hotels in the Philly area dollar for star rating in the entire Delaware Valley. Customer Service Immaculate, Ammenties Immaculate, starbucks coffee, parking, shuttles, proximity to airport and downtown. Staff is creme de la creme. Negative: Pool is shut down for good.
Roaches, not enough wash cloths and towels for my family, no microwave, missing bedding for pull out sofa, stained sofa, stained carpet (in room) No evidence of thorough cleaning... all in room 1120. They didnt hesitate to give me my refund. This is far below the standard of Marriott in my opinion, especially for 300+ dollars for one night. I will not be staying here int the future
Parked the car. Price is great and the shuttle service to and from the airport was very convenient. The drivers were very friendly and very courteous.
Great airport parking. Its about $12 a day. You can get cheaper online. Customer service was exceptional from the agents inside and the driver picking us up!. Yes, they have free shuttle service.I loved the customer service.
We had my sons wedding there. The staff was excellent. The food was delicious. We stayed overnight. The room was very nice and clean. The only thing is that they didnt have hand soap in the room. Other then that everything was perfect
I really enjoyed this hotel. It was quiet with a super fast check in. My only two complaints are that the floor needed a vacuuming and there were ants! I left a cup on the night stand and there was damn near a colony attacking it come the morning. Everything else was great.
Arrived at 11:30 pm to find the hotel was over booked and did not have rooms available for us and about a dozen others. We were told it would be 30 minutes to 1-1/2 hours until a room was available. The staff was very patient and did a great job maintaining their composure. The staff should never have been placed in this situation. In this day and age, there should never be a situation where you overbook rooms to this extent. This is a corporate failing that must be addressed.
Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. The airport shuttle driver, Mr James went above & beyond for me! Gorgeous room. Comfy bed. Good location. The bar restaurant is nice too.
I’ve stayed here too many times to count. It’s my home away from home, and the staff are awesome. Rooms are always clean. Airport shuttle runs every half hour and the drivers are great.
I didnt stay there, but it looked really nice and had an awesome setup.
If my room had a working TV I would have gave 5 stars. When I alerted the receptionist the TV in the room wasn’t working he switched my room without question and even offered to bring me the key to the room. Overall it was a great experience.
I come to Philly maybe two times a year for business and this was the first time I stayed at the Delta hotel. I cant believe as biggest this hotel is they do not have a laundry service and what I mean a coin laundromat. Every Marriott hotel Ive stayed in has had a coin operated laundry mat. Please see about getting one. It would be helpful for business like people like myself.
First time here, MARRIOTT NEVER DISAPPOINTS! This suite is beautiful and CLEAN! Love that it has a mini fridge. The staff, starting with the shuttle driver (Joy is her middle name - she is a Joy), amazing with Good Morning smiles from to front desk staff. All so pleasant and accommodating. Cant wait to visit again.
I stayed here on Sunday night before I went on a trip. The check in was wonderful and they were very nice and gave me information I needed for the shuttle pick up in the morning. In the middle of the night, I was awoken by the people next door to our room, drunk screaming, arguing, which was stopped for about 30 minutes when I called the front desk and the man said he would take care of it. In the morning, when I checked out, I mentioned this to the woman at reception, she was rude and dismissive, and basically made me feel like “oh well” attitude. I stayed at the hotel for the convenience of it being so close to the airport so I could get a good night sleep (which did not happen AT ALL.) when we came back from our trip, the sweet lady from the shuttle service drop off told me all I had to do is call the hotel as soon as I got my bags from baggage claim. I called 9 times, it was 11:30pm. No one answered the phone and finally, when they did, it was the same rude receptionist from hotel check out, which again, did not apologize for not answering the phones, and was speaking over me loudly when I told her I called 9 times and needed to be picked up. Overall, I would spend the money and do airport parking than deal with this BS. The receptionist needs some training on hospitality.
When my husband and I checked in we originally were put on the 8th floor. To our surprise when we got to the room, it was not cleaned. We immediately went downstairs to the front desk and told them of the mishap. Unfortunately, I didnt get the guy at the front desk name, but he was slightly tall with a friendly demeanor (he worked Saturday, August 28th afternoon). He apologized for the mistake and upgraded our room. We were so happy once we got to the room. Many thanks to the front desk gentleman for his kindness. Our family will be having a wedding here in March 2022 and we look forward to staying again.
We accidentally left our hand made stuffed animal our kid got from a family friend. We noticed the next day we lost it and have now called 3 times and I keep getting the run around. Not a very responsive when it comes lost and found. Other than that it was a nice stay.
Had a delayed connection and unexpected stay. Thank goodness EBrandi was there at the bar to treat us to some great cocktails and service. By the time we got to our room our travel woes were forgotten.
This place looked good but the rooms on the I stayed in had AC issues and rust in the shower floor. In fact I changed rooms several times and still AC issues. This place has potential but needs maintenance and TLC.
Perfect location no wait time for a shuttle to or from hotel to airport will definitely use this location again for the price that I paid
Nice, renovated hotel. Friendly staff. Definitely will be back. Have no idea why there’s so many bad reviews.
Rooms are very untidy. The floor especially is not cleaned at all.Bathroom full of Hairs.Recommending for a good vacuum cleaning.
$150 hold for a room not even worth $50. This hotel was an absolute joke. Do not stay here. Youre better off sleeping in your car.
It took more than 30 minutes to check in although we are elite members and checking in at almost 7pm. There may have been an issue with the system, but no explanation given. I purchased the chicken ceasar salad from the Market Place, and the croutons were stale. Although our room was paid using Amercan Express, Am Ex wasnt accepted at the Market Place. The floor in our room was stained and some debris was in the corner. The shelf that stored the cups had several layers of dust on it. I expect more for $200 per night.
I only parked to shuttle to airport. Staff was friendly, polite and professional. Basically stayed where I parked it, no scratches.
Beautiful inside and out. Off the beaten path and 15 minutes from the stadiums. The folks at the front desk were so helpful and nice. Quiet hours exist from 10p-8a which is lovely. The room was spotless and when I wiped the headboard down with a sanitizing wipe I was relieved and surprised to see nothing gross come off. Spacious bathroom, very hot water, rainfall shower head, Babyliss hair dryer which seems brand new. The bed is very comfortable. Down comforter. I could use another blanket but Im confident if I asked theyd give one. This will be our new place when we stay in Philly.Edit: even though there is a smoke-free policy you can smell faint smoke coming through ventilation
Nice staff but that couldn’t make up for the paper thin walls, echoing lobby, and high pitch noise the AC started making half way through the night when I was too exhausted to call anyone about. We got zero sleep for our early morning flight due to the amount of noise we could hear around us so we feel like we just threw money away. We definitely will not be back.
I only used the lot for airport parking and shuttle. The service was very good. The staff was polite and professional.
Very nice & clean hotel, but my room wasnt what I reserved. I was supposed to have a king size bed with a microwave & mini fridge. Instead I was given a double queen bed with no microwave or refrigerator. My room wasnt fully cleaned either as the cpvers on 1 bed was pulled back, there was an open half drunken water bottle, & garbage in the trash can.
Positive: Beautiful outside and inside Negative: No pool website showed a pool. Air conditioner wasn¿t working no complementary breakfast
Lovely, clean room with super comfy beds and pillows. Plenty quiet. Nice bathroom and shower but bathroom ceiling and shower head were both quite low. Not a big deal unless you are over 64 like me. Very polite and professional front desk with a quick airport shuttle.
The hotel is beautiful and nice but I had an issue with them not supplying our room with wash cloths. The First night there (which was Thursday night) they only gave 2 wash cloths. Friday morning I asked if I can get additional wash cloths and the front desk said they were all out and when some came available they would send them to my room. They were never sent. I called Friday night and got the same story that the wash cloths werent available so I asked for at least hand towels and body towels and they never sent them up. Saturday morning I called the front desk for wash cloths stating that they never sent the towels or wash cloths and that I needed to be out of the hotel by 8am to attend a funeral and they said that the housekeeping dont come until 9am but they would have someone send them up. They never came to my room. This is very unacceptable the fact that we were never giving a basic need of a wash cloth and I have to go out and buy wash cloths and towels on my own. I will not be returning to this hotel whenever I come back to visit Philadelphia.
Management very nice but the front desk attendant not so nice trash was up and down the hall I think they were short on staff. I went out for a day of shopping and visiting family 2 come back with my door wide open. Nothing was taken but as a single female a was nervous. Ive stayed at the hotel before and it was impressive. I will try again maybe covid impacted the service
Positive: Nothing at all Negative: Do not book this hotel. Poor customer service. They made me wait 3 hours even though I made reservations one week prior and the staff is horrible
The TV didnt work had to call maintenance hot water never got hot and the noise from exhaust fan was loud
This hotel was listed as a 4.5-star hotel. I beg to differ. The staff was non-existent. There was always trash in the or near the ice machine area, it was hard to get clean towels and our room was not cleaned or had the trash emptied for all four days we stayed there. Definitely NOT a four star hotel.
The interior of the hotel is a cool concept. The room was nice and clean but they charge you to park there even if youre staying at the hotel. The parking lot was under construction which made it a hassle to use
Spacious room since I got upgraded. Very comfy bed. Would definitely stay here again when Im back in town.
It was very nice and clean .and the people was very nice and helpful Website suggestions of things to do I would recommend it
Large room, clean and very realong atmosphere amongst the never ending COVID-19 pqndemic.
It is a beautiful hotel. If your in Philadelphia and need a place to stay you should stay there its a little pricey.n
Very nice hotel and staff. I was first placed in a room on the 12th floor which was fine but it was a handicap/ special needs room with handicap bars in the bathroom and hearing impaired door buzzers. It has a small counter in the bathroom.I went downstairs to request a new room and was able to get one. Requested a second key twice and the agent forgot about it. Finally received one when asking again.Bought a yogurt berry parfait at the pantry and thought it would be a creamy yogurt but it was thick and not flavorful. The berries were not fresh looking but I bought it because I was hungry. It was awful and I ended up throwing it away. Wasnt worth my time to go back downstairs and complain. Overall, not a bad experience.
Booked and paid for the hotel 4 days in advance. Got to the hotel to check in only to find us, along with other reserved guests, without a room as the hotel double booked them. The best accommodation they could give was to offer a room at another hotel in Princeton, NJ which is an hour and twenty minutes away from the Delta Philadelphia Airport. Upon leaving from the area, we found another Marriott 25 minutes away with rooms available. Delta Marriott refused to cover the expense because they didnt find the hotel for us. Very disappointing experience. Marriot Bonvoy will risk losing a valuable customer if there is no compensation for this very poor service experience.
I love this hotel it was super clean the room was so clear and clean. The staff was nice
Positive: Good staff Negative: Double charged for parking, which I¿m disputing, and cleanliness to room: oil stain on headboard and spots on sheets
Positive: Excellence customer service Negative: Breakfast would Be a plus
Dont feel safe at this Hotel no security and just the type of people that come to this hotel
Beautiful and clean hotel. Paper thin walls could not sleep after a long day! Close proximity to the airport and good staff. Not sure if they can soundproof the rooms as one can hear the next room guests talking as well.
This hotel was amazing, I dont think Ive ever been in more clean and beautiful hotel. I highly recommend staying here
It was a nice day that was my first time stain only thing that I didnt like about it was just think was clogged the hotel was full so they can move us whenever room other than that its a really nice place and I say this fear I will recommend it
Positive: The staff was EXCELLENT!! The lobby area is very beautiful. Negative: I was moved to another room because the first room was not cleaned and sanitized. The second rooms tub AND bathroom sink were both clogged. :( The paint was peeling in both bathrooms. (rooms 700 and 701)
Wouldnt check us in to our already paid for reservation at 3 in the morning because of their audit. Customers that have been delayed and travelling all day deserve some sort of assistance when they have already paid for a room.
If you have a child on the autism spectrum this hotel is theeee place to stay. Because noise is a huge factor whenever we stay at a hotel I was especially leery about staying at an airport property, but the rate was great, they have suites with refrigerators, starbucks and a bar in the lobby with a shuttle to the airport!! Our room was spacious, sound proof, it definitely gave me downtown luxury vibes, couldnt hear the planes AT ALL. The room had a huge window with a beautiful view, and a chase lounge to take it all in. The ability to make the room dim or full of light was a plus when dealing with my daughters sensory overloaded moments. Plenty of restaurants nearby making it an ease to order Doordash for my selective eater. A microwave in the room would of been a plus but there was one in cafe. To my AUSome mommies this hotel is a perfect fit for your little ones. #autismspectrum #ausomemoms #hotelsgreatforautistickids #travelingwithautism
Beautiful hotel & an awesome staff especially Marquita who helped me switch my room that had a bathroom malfunction to a nice suite w/ 2 TVs, walk in bath, & big room period
Its so comfortable and cozy. There are tons of things to look at here 😂
Air-conditioning issues last two stays. Very dirty carpets
Nice place! Clear that it was a different hotel years ago, but is now a part of the Marriott chain. The entire pool area amd glass enclosure needs to be overhauled and upgraded, but overall still a nice property.
Positive: Once inside the hotel, it was clean, modern and the room was very comfortable. It was also close to the airport, so that was convenient as we had an early morning flight. Negative: It was dark when we arrived, and the hotel was difficult to find as there was no clear sign visible from the road, and there was a gated entry. Also, even though there was an ample parking area, we had to pay for parking.
The staff was fantastic in helping us thru our flight delays . Thank you !!!
First night I had a smooth and easy check in. I’ve never stayed here and this was my first time. I did have a late check in when I got to the delta hotel I actually was surprised how nice the room was. It wasn’t until I woke up the next day and went down stairs and tried to extend my stay 1 more night. I was told by the front desk that I would have to reach out to Travelocity to do that. I told the front desk that I didn’t care just needed to secure my room. The desk told me to book it and call them. I booked it and left all my luggage in the room. I spent the day in New York and came back for a late check in . Remember all my stuff is still in there and when I came in to check in I was told they were sold out and did not have a reservation. Since my stuff was still there I guess they still had a room. After paying a inflated price I took my family and finished my trip. I don’t expect anything free just want a stress free stay. As I stood there I overheard others also having booking problems. To management all I want is to make it right and honor original booking prices. You can contact me to resolve my issue. I also recommend onsite security make sure people don’t smoke weed outside or in there rooms. First time ever in Philadelphia I’ll come back but won’t recommend this hotel to anyone unless my issues are resolved. Google level 6 reviewers
Positive: Neat, clean and well organize Negative: Do not have the possibility to open the windows for fresh air is particularly annoying.
Positive: This is out favorite place to stay in Philadelphia. Very clean, remodeled rooms, just a really beautiful hotel. Negative: They just increased their incidentals fee to $100 per night and we did not find out until we checked in. That kind of pertinent information should be easier to find out.
Pleasant and courteous staff. Shower drain didnt drain well. Everything else was fine. Nice location. $12 parking I guess thats not bad.
Positive: Excellent staff that conduct business with superb hospitality Negative: No
Cant even get a late check out? First time Ive ever been told no and i really needed like an extra hour. I wont be coming back. Thanks
Positive: The customer service was great Negative: I really didnt have food options,
The hotel gives you a great price. Its quiet, with a lake, very beautiful. The location was great, not far from where we needed to be. It does have a great room view, it was really nice working and having a lake view. We really enjoyed the sun coming thru the window. The bed was comfortable and had a lot of hangers in the closet. The staff was kind. The room STANK of old smoke that it made my eyes water. We went downstairs to talk with the front desk & asked if they had a no smoking room & she said “ some rooms may have some smoke smell because even though all the rooms have a “smoke-free policies” some guests doesn’t listen”, ok, I asked to be in a room with walking-in shower since, was one of the reasons we booked there, she said that would book a room that fitted my needs and guess what? We got a bathroom with a tub. The room was cleaned, at first, didn’t smell the smoke but throughout the day it smelled smoke coming from the ventilation. It felt like when you have an annoying neighbor that smokes a lot, plus, the shower curtain was very smelly. We were so tired that we kept the room and made it work but, we didn’t have to worry about these things you know. Later on, I need it a hairdryer so when I couldn’t find it in the room my husband went to the front desk to pick up one and they were kind of suspicious and kept asking if we searched the room. I wonder why they don’t check the room after the checkout and charge for irregularities?! I really do suggest they have some training because the customer service wasn’t good. I didn’t like it that was only feathered pillows. That is my second chance staying at Delta Hotels in different locations and another disappointment. I definitely won’t be staying at this brand anymore.
Positive: The rooms were nice and spacious. Negative: I had to change rooms 3 times because of hotel issues.
Positive: Is was decorated nice Negative: they double charged me when I brought it to the staffs attention they were rude anblrw it off. Theh also ran out of towel. What hotel runs out of towels!!
Eric and Ms. Pam were the best! Great customer service skills. Room was very clean and comfortable. Loved our stay.
BED BUGS! I was very reluctant to stay at The Delta because I knew that it was previously The Renaissance with a new name. I had previously stayed at the Renaissance hotel and it was like dressing up a Ramada inn. I shouldn’t have been surprised when I was awaken at 6am and later discovering a bedbug crawling along my sheets. I immediately went down to the front desk to alert the Night Auditor. He claimed that they had run out of incident report sheets and that he would have a manager contact me through email. I emailed the manager the pictures of my back and the bug crawling along the sheets. He took a little over two and a half weeks to respond. He claimed that after their investigation, they had found no bugs in the room. I was a previous employee at a Marriott in Horsham Pa and I’m aware of how these cases get mishandled. I was offered a free nights stay instead of a refund. Who wants to stay somewhere they were bitten by bugs? I felt as if it wasn’t being taken seriously. If you have the option, I’d suggest The Springhill Suites or The Holiday Inn express if you HAVE to stay in the airport area.
Negative: I was to check in at 3pm. And did not get me room, till a little after 4pm.
My Go To For Staying 2 Days Or Less In Philadelphia. Always Have Rooms Available And They Are VERY Nice. Starbucks In The Morning, Massive Lobby Area, Machines For Snacks And Beverages On EVERY FloorCheck Out BLaZeus Muzyk On YouTube 🙏🏿
Great service and accommodations...the bar tender is super great excellent conversation and he makes the best drinks at 530pm
Positive: It was right by the airport. Very convenient.
Positive: At night time it was actually quiet. Negative: No I had a lovely experience
Positive: The rooms are new and very clean. The bathrooms were beautiful and clean. Less than 2 miles from the airport and you can actually see the runway but not hear the noise of the planes. Excellent staff Negative: The signs are not visible from the street. Lights in the parking lot are dim. You have to have a room key to scan to get out of the parking lot.
Clean and well appointed. Perfect for business travel
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I travel for work... I prepaid for a two week stay and at check in they over authorized my card by way more then they told me they would. When I raised concern i was met with rudeness and an extremely condescending attitude by both hotel manager Samuel and front desk manager Erica. They made condescending remarks about me to my travel agent when she called to straighten the over authorization out. Since that day I have been met with horrible treatment by the front desk staff and every time I have needed something at the front desk they have made me wait extended periods. Erica wont even address me when I ask something, she just does it with no words to me. This is a disgusting atrocity of a hotel and I will never stay anywhere near a Renaissance again... disgusting...
The service was amazing, Markeeda, Thomas and T the best in the business.
Huge rooms.grand hotel.close to airport is a plus and very stylish. Will stay again
Staff make this hotel a dirty slimy smudge on the map. From the front desk staff to housekeepers. Door will be slamming at all hours not from guests but from staff. Waited one hour and thirty mins for hotel shuttle. Check in is a nightmare people waiting out the door to check in. Stay away from this hotel!
Positive: Fantastic property. Reasonably good proximity to airport. No concerns there. Good shuttle runs on the half hour beginning at 4 a.m. Negative: No restaurant, no coffee, nothing. They could at least had continental breakfast. Seems they are trying to run this fantastic facility on a shoestring.
Unfortunately I have to give a low review! They couldn’t find the reservation I made that I was charged for the month prior. I called corporate and they told me the location could look it up with the payment method which the attendant refused to do earlier that day. When we got back to the hotel after our event, I asked the attendant and she confirmed that they could find it using the payment method but only managers have access to it. They don’t tell you in advance about the nightly parking fee and now I gotta try to get my money back because I literally had to pay for my stay twice. Still working on getting this resolved!!!!
This is a fraudulent business, you can not trust them at all, very irresponsible management,I had two prepaid rooms, when I arrived at the hotel to check in, they said that they don’t have any rooms available!! This is exactly what they said: we see your reservation but we don’t have any rooms available,They overbooked their rooms hoping for some people not to show up
Seriously the nicest airport style hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Thank you!
Positive: This hotel was nice and it was very clean. I have no complaints, it was also a very good price and the deposit was very cheap.
I dont know how this is a 4 star hotel. I hope I never have to stay here again.
Positive: Peace & quiet Negative: They gave me some one else¿s room all there belongs was in there also they made me wait a hour for a room
Positive: It¿s a beautiful hotel Negative: No
Positive: Courteous and friendly staff including the shuttle drivers and front desk at check in and check out. Negative: Nope. All good.
Positive: Linens and room were clean Negative: Horrible parking
Positive: The bed was comfortable, my room was nice, the staff was nice and accommodating. Fulfilled the purpose I needed. Plus they had a microwave in the lobby for public use which was convenient. Negative: There was a cockroach in my room literally a few minutes after I got there so that was disgusting.
