Variety of classes to choose from, both online and in studio. Studio is very large, well spaced and clean! Any class here will give you a great workout!
Wonderful boutique fitness studio in the heart of Manayunk! Juliet (the owner) also runs Liberty & Lace Bridal where I purchased my wedding dress. They offer their brides a free unlimited one month membership to the Wall!!! After the first month, I was hooked and purchased more classes. I highly recommend joining their mailing list as they offer frequent discounts while promoting events & numerous charitable causes. Love this place for so many reasons
This place is a bit of a money-grab. It very obviously favors the wealthier costumers. If you can buy their expensive packages, great. If not, theyre going to be rude to you. This isnt true of the instructors, though, who are great. Just owner/management.
Ive been working out at The Wall for about one year since I moved to Manayunk. As a baseline anxious person, Im always wary to try something new, but from the first moment I felt extremely welcome here. Ive only participated in cycling classes, so cant speak to others, but Ive truly enjoyed myself and been challenged in every single class. All of the instructors and staff are kind and encouraging. Join us! Hope to see you there!
This place is great! Ive been going here for a few years and I need can honestly say its worth it! They honestly care about your progress and want to see that youre using good form in any of their classes, whether its spin, barre, sculpt, or yoga based. they also care about their clients personally and thats always nice! Highly highly highly recommended!
Julie and the staff at The Wall are amazing! I was so nervous going to a spin class especially when the studio is more intimate than larger fitness studios. I have been going for several years now and its the best workout in town! The studio is always clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful so you quickly feel like you belong.
The crew here definitely works their butts off. Their dedication and energy to keep their studio open despite any mishaps is truly inspiring. If you’re looking to get your butt in shape or just a quick tune up, you should definitely check them out. You won’t be disappointed.
I am a long distance trail runner who has a hard time incorporating strength and cross training. Ive been going to the early morning barre and spin classes 1 or 2 times a week for a few weeks now and I have seen an improvement in my strength and endurance. Added bonus is that my posture is better and my waist is more trim! The classes are challenging, but in a low pressure atmosphere. That is great because I feel comfortable taking a rest without judgement AND I know that with steady work I will continue to improve over time. I walk out of class at 6am feeling energized for the day and Ive already done a hard workout.
I was nervous going to Barre class at the Wall - I didnt want to be the new person and getting everything wrong! When I went, I found that there was no need to be nervous at all! The class was great and the instructors talk you through your first class and every class after. I now regularly go to Barre and Spin. The studio is really friendly and Julie (the owner) makes sure to know everyone and say hello. Whether you do Barre or spin or both it is a great way to start your day!
I have been going to the Wall for over 3 years. When the studio started offering Barre, I was a little apprehensive but showed up my first class. And I am glad I did. Barre is a completely different workout then I was used to but I loved it! I started seeing changes and definitions just after a few classes.
Awesome little cycling/TRX/fitness studio in Manayunk. The people running the place were very nice to me, even though I got in like a minute before the class started. Clean facilities, small space, yet still felt very open and welcoming. Spin class was good, I had a free class pass and they gave me another free class on my way out but I ended up not having enough time to come back due to work travel and being sick :( If youre looking for an all-around fitness studio, this is your place
I went to The Wall for my first ever spin class. Being out of spinning shape, I barely made it through my first time but it was a great workout and now I go back almost twice a week! Julie, the owner, fosters a very friendly and encouraging environment and my instructor Catherine continues to push me at every class
Ive been coming here for a few months now and I really love it! Staff is very kind and welcoming.
This place is immaculate and left me feeling great ** not your average gyms spin class
I love Barre in The Wall! The instructors are great and I always leave feeling awesome!
