The club is very clean and wel kept. Masks were worn by all the members and staff did a great job at keeping everything clean. The manager Steve is a very professional and personable man.

First time being back since the pandemic. I must say it felt good. It was an enjoyable experience. Although masks are no longer mandatory, the gym continues to take necessary precautions for safety. They have individual spray bottles that you can have throughout your workout to clean the machines you use. Happy to be back. 😊

This place has amazing equipment. The staff is friendly and the trainers are great. The prices were just right. Highly recommend!!!

Steve Hammond made joining up fun and stress-free as he went over all membership options available. I signed up immediately without trying the free trial because I knew this place had everything I would want out of a gym just by seeing the friendly smiles on everyone as well as the plethora of equipment, activities, and classes. Dont hesitate seeking this place out or spending the money elsewhere that has a fraction of what this place has to offer. Glad to be a member.

It is very dirty. There is always dust under the simulators, scraps of paper towels. The simulators themselves are very old. All equipment is of various sizes, very inconvenient.

If you are at all concerned about the spread of COVID-19 be careful when you visit this location. The staff are unwilling to enforce the citys mask mandate. People including employees walk around the gym without masks.

I give this gym 5 stars because my experience there is always good. The staff is welcoming and it has a nice atmosphere in general. My personal trainer Ryan made my experience even better. He is kind, patient, professional and is dedicated to his job. He helped me reach my goal weight and made what seemed to be a difficult weight loss journey a lot easier than I what I expected.

Pleasant workout environment, theres lot more equipments to choose from as compared to other gyms. Moreover its nice and clean.👌 The staff at the front desk needs to work on their customer service skills a lil bit though. I was in there couple of times at the front desk and, was like hi to the lady behind the desk...she didnt acknowledge me at all. I felt disrespected but, went on bout my business.🙅‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Its a spacious facility. The evening front desk staff is super welcoming and helpful.

The morning classes are amazing, Inna is the greatest instructor!!!

The gym is okay overall, no major complaints. The pool water is way too cold though,....🤨.

Convenient location near Giant. This LA Fitness has older equipment and a lot of people. Due to covid rules there is a 10 people limit on group classes including coach.

Really nice place, good weight and a lot of machines. Just sometimes there is a line for squats. Suggest remove the smooth machine and put more free weight barbell.

Steve is Awesome!!! Steve and the gym staff has been very diligent In making sure the gym is cleaned around the clock and that everything is sanitized. Kandace’s cycling class is Super. I recommend this gym❤️.

Its been good so far. I do laps in the pool. I havent used the gym or classes yet. The pool & locker rooms are very clean. Everyone is nice.

I asked to cancel my account and six months later I was charged. They stated that instead of canceling my amount it was frozen. When I asked for a refund they told me that I had to cancel before the payment was processed. Even though I told them to cancel 6 months prior.

The dirtiest LA fitness in the country. Empty cups and bottles on the floor. Dirty tissues and paper towels are also on the floor. I get sick at least 50% of the time after leaving this place.

Its a nice place. Parking is pretty packed. The staff are nice. The facility is clean. The kids section has no ac. So its boiling hot. The kids place is right by the windows so its gonna be cooking during the day.

Shouldn’t be paying this much money for a gym that does not seem to have any air conditioning whatsoever. It’s constantly so hot all summer in there that it’s almost impossible to be able to work out and breath properly. Every other gym I go to is nice and cool in the summer. Not worth the price at all to become a member here.

Sam,the club manager is the best .Her team as you walk in is always smiling and greeting good morning or afternoon. Always asking can we help you and have a Great workout. On sales side no one in any of LA Fitness can equal with Steve .Steve is like family .Always has time with any questions no matter what the question. When you see him on the floor always talking to the members. Steve should be the benchmark in LA Fitness Clubs.All keep up the Great work..

To expensive. The employees work on commission. I never spend my money at a place where the employees make commission. There out for themselves.

Can get crowded at times but if youre knowledgeable enough about works out and alternatives, there shouldnt be a problem if youre creative and resourceful enough. Runs out of paper towel more often than they should. All they have are water fountain that dont support water bottle filling like at planet fitness (maybe they wanna sell their protein shake at the little corner drinks place). Cant expect much out of the sales rep, they sell gym membership for a living and their career peak there so dont expect anything more than what they are capable of.

The club is amazing. The juice bar has delicious drinks. Zumba and spinning classes are amazing. Cant beat it for $30.

I have been going to this gym for over two years and in my last two visits have been accosted by a very rude employee. Finishing my last set, it’s 11:01 and she stands over me, yelling I’m not finishing and to get out where there were literally a minimum of 30 people still in the gym, some on machines right by me and many in the bathrooms, basketball area, etc. I have always been respectful of the staff and vice verse but having someone basically try to fight me because I am finishing my last set is not professional or setting a positive workout environment when she’s on the main floor yelling and getting in a customers face. This should not be tolerated and I will be calling corporate as well.

Includes: pool, hot tub, childcare, racquetball, and a small sauna. Entrance parking-lot is a pain.Personnel: 3 / 5 starsThis location experiences very high traffic most of the time it is very difficult to use the free weight machine. The diversity of people is nice, but too many people here are nescient. There are too many meat heads. Although the dance classes are good.Staff: 3/5The staff here is a hit or miss here. As a passed member and employee, management is lousy and have rudimentary skills, in regards to both customer service and employment. As for trainers, there are few that show enthusiasm.Overall:The truth of the matter, this LA fitness location experiences very-very high customer throughput and does not care if people leave to only come back and sign-up again to meet their quota. The facility is good, but the people here can ruin your experience.

I go every day! I love the kids klub for my son. Mimi’s spin class is amazing! Great music and the vibe is nice. Oh, and the shakes after a good workout are the best...especially mint chocolate chip! Did I mention they have a sauna! Love this gym.

I only take classes or use the treadmill & have no real complaints other than the paper towel & toilet paper dispensers are empty 50% of the time during evening hours. If they could be checked a little more regular that would be great. Also, most of the faucets in the bathroom have very little water pressure if any water at all. Those 2 are the only things keep this place from 5 stars for me!

An excellent gym. Plenty of equipment to cover a full body workout.Always full early mornings on weekdays. Best time to go is after 9 pm or early morning weekends.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. This place is a total scam. All they care about is getting you to spend more money. My mom got tricked into signing up for a trainer that didn’t know what he was doing. Pushed her too hard on the first session, and then when she dropped a weight and injured herself, didn’t even give her any medical attention. We want to cancel the sessions and now we have to pay 50% for the rest, which is about $800. Whatever you do, don’t sign up for a trainer, total waste of money. Also if you want to cancel your membership, there seems to be only one person able to do that. It took me weeks to be able to cancel my membership because the only manager able to do it was “not available” when I was there despite going almost very day.

The juice bar is so good, and the sauna is very helpful to get some sweat off

The equipment is comprehensive and the environment is beautiful, but the customer service is really disgusting. General Manager Steve is a downright hypocritical person. I signed up at 12/5 in Cottman Ave LA fitness membership. I have a family plan for 4 people, but CM won’t open until 12/20. Because LA members can enjoy gyms in any area, I went to the closest Grant ave LA to me, and before I went there, I had already logged in on the App and selected Grant as my gym. I also put my friends On the VIP pass list. But when I scan the code at Grant’s front desk, they said: My account is not activated. I said: if it is not activated, how do I book a course on the app. Then they said that my friend was going to fill out the Guess pass. After we filled out all the forms and waited 45 minutes finally someone came to help print out the QR code of my friend ’s visit. And from the beginning to the end, their general manager Steve was flirting with another young employee. After waiting 30 minutes, we went to the front desk to ask how long it would take. They told us that once the manager had time, he would help you immediately After 45 minutes, we started working out. Such a good gym was destroyed by such managers. In fact, I understand that in such an organization, many people who are in management will neglect their work because they are not investing in their own money and the enterprise. After all, they are not spending their money. I just wrote it out to let everyone know that if you want to go to LA, do n’t go to Grant ave LA

I love this club! Its a busy club for sure... but its busy for a reason, Ive never had a bad workout there! Super clean. The staff is always great!

I like the group fitness instructors. I also like how you can get a good sweat in because they do not have the air-conditioners on full blast. There are areas that are a bit funky, otherwise it’s a good investment. Front desk personnel can be more friendly. Kids Klub is also a good investment and the employees are kind and vigilant.

For for 30 bucks a month there is zero and I mean zero gyms around here for the value you get.People complain about anything really.I think that the club is top notch and so does large amount of people to go there. I love this gym I go here in the mornings and never have a problem. The pictures I see on there in my experience are never really representations of what the club looks like. I posted my own pics of the club when I work out. The staff here are great. Even the sales people make an effort to keep the locker rooms clean.

Havent signed up yet. I have a severe muscle strain/pull. Talked to GIGI who was, professional, courteous and provided comprehensive information on the facility. Ambivalent about joining, but GIGIS presentation has kept me interested.

I love LA Fitness Grant. The club has a fun energetic atmosphere. The janitor is always around fixing and wiping equipment. The managers are both friendly. I cant speak on the personal trainers but the cycle room is top of the line. Not sure why there are negative reviews about this location. I think its a quality gym experience.

Club is beautiful. Victor is incredibly helpful and the kids corner is wonderful for the 5 year old. Highly recommended.
