Best gym Ive been too since Powerhouse Philadelphia. Great machines and tons of vatiety. Alot of cardio equipment as well. Music is diverse. Ppl are cool as well. The best part of the gym is the equipment and the friendly staff. Its very clean and the locker room is on point... not dirty at all. I would recommend this gym to every one. Also if you are into tanning they have tanning here as well!

Having come to the gym, having paid for the subscription, he began to exercise, but immediately the manager made a comment about the sports bag, suggesting to put it in a cell that is 2 times smaller than the bag. The hall is very stuffy. With such a staff and an unventilated facility, the gym is not worth the price.

This ONE guy/maybe manager walks around telling everyone to put their mask up. 😂😂😂😂 Hea an absolute joke in the gym, did he not hear the CDC and the PRESIDENT said if your vaccinated you don’t need a mask and if you r not then it’s up to the ADULT. Giant Fitness is about to lose several customers if this continues. Thank you

This place is terrible, they can and WILL steal money from you, they are very sneaky and useless for help, still having problems getting the money that was stolen from me back!!!!! So many other gyms out there more worth it than giant, don’t waste your time and money !!

I had a difficult time canceling my membership due to COVID19. They wouldnt take an email as cancellation so I cancelled on my credit card. I received a collection notice. I called multiple times and was told to call back when a manager was there - 4 times. Its a good thing I cancelled because there were members there working out without masks. If you value your safety dont go here.

I do not recommend going here during corona. Everyone has a uncovered nose or take masks off during workouts. Management and workers do nothing to force correct mask usage. Will be cancelling membership as it is completely unsafe and will be reporting the business as well.

Great gym equipment, they need a bit more signage and encouragement for members to wipe down equipment after use. Overall they do a great job.

They do not let you use chalk! This gym has everything for power lifting. I am training a friend here who struggles with bench and the over head press. Clean good bathrooms and good service. They sell muscle milk water and gatorade too.

Former Overnight Employee Review:I worked the overnight shift there for a couple months. I got hired in November of 2016. It was a huge challenge to adapt to my schedule, but I did it for awhile. The members that would come in the middle of the night was very nice and always greeted me, gave me conversation and kept it fun for me. But that is not why I am giving it 2 stars. I am giving it 2 stars because of the management there(or manager).As some of the members know him as Matt, they know him as a nice, laid back guy. That is not how he was with his employees. I tried to stick it out dealing with him, but he insisted of giving us hell for asking even a simple question. Matt is two faced. He would show that he cares about the customers and signing people up, but at the same time, not care as much when it comes to keeping employees on and making them feel comfortable working there. Shoot the janitor is more friendly than he is. In the end, I wound up putting in my 2 week notice and he went and hired someone else. Did not let me know until I had to find out that I was no longer on the schedule. Did not let me finish out my 2 weeks. Just up and let me go. Matt is an okay guy, but he SERIOUSLY needs to work on keeping employees and making sure that they arent quitting every 3 to 6 months. Otherwise he will not be in his position for much longer.So for all those signing up, please feel free to, but know what kind of guy Matt is in case you have an issue with your account or membership.

Wide selection of equipment. Multiple machines so youre not fighting over them. Also not overly crowded.

What a great gym...been too many gyms in my life this is all you need right here !! So many benches and free weights, tons of treadmills etc etc...very friendly staff

Ive been a customer of this gym since it opened up. The only reason I stay at this gym is because of its employees, especially mike the janitor. I was informed that he was recently fired because of some manager Matt which apparently doesnt know a good employee when he has one. Mike was the nicest guy around and always kept the gym clean, I will be cancelling my membership at this gym and so will 4 of my friends that I have recommended here unless mike gets hired back here.

I have been a member almost 2 years. I ended my membership, and I told them to end my member ship they charged me $60 and then put me in collections! They were not helpful at all. In addition, they basically threatened me to pay it or they would put me in collections. There was no formal agreement about the $60 dollars!

I was really thrown off when I saw the manager spraying a homeless man with a hose. The poor man was out back of the gym out of everyone’s way taking cover from the rain and taking a nap on a cardboard box and he was spraying him with a hose in the freezing cold. Was just really heartbreaking to see. Really disgusted me to see someone so heartless in that moment. Several members say that the manager is a AHole all for different occurrences

By far the cleanest gym Ive ever been to. The staff are friendly, the hours are convenient. Id like to see them open later on the weekends but I understand. Theres plenty of equipment and its not a meat head gym.**Update**Since Mike the janitor got fired, the gym cleanliness took a nosedive. The floors are not swept and the stairs bannister is sticky. I even saw a roach crawling on the floor. Mike was the only friendly employee this gym had and now hes gone. Big mistake!

Read complete contract when signing up! Do not trust the staff members! They are just salesmen! When signing up I was told it was a one year contract. They continued to make monthly deductions from my bank account beyond the initial year. So they pretty much tell you that youre signing up for a year, but youre really signing up for them to charge you every month for life. Very manipulative, and dishonest! The used car dealership of gyms!

Awesome place

I just visited the new location in Philadelphia. The two women that worked there were very kind & explained everything very well. The gym is very clean, smelled nice and has alot of machines. I will be switching from planet fitness to this gym today!!

This is a nice clean gym. Staff is friendly, not uptight or above you like other places. I recommend it.

I have belonged to giant for over a year now. The gym was always kept spotless, due to the janitor Mike. Always working, always smiling, never a bad thing to say even the day he was fired for not doing what he was told. Within 24 hours, the gym immediately took a decline, trash cans full, dirt all over floor, paper towels empty, soap dispensers empty. You can see that he is not there immediatley, Matt you are a fool, if you think you made the right choice. I watched you try to clean stuff yesterday not working for you, you cant keep up with him. You are definetly losing members based on cleanliness, I know I am looking for a new gym, as well as the 8 people I have brought in. Hope these reviews go to corporate.

I have also been a member at this gym since they were building it, I come religiously every night. I have been a member at many other gyms and a big part of a gym is the staff. I have never been to a cleaner gym then this one, Mike the custodian kept the gym perfect, and thats the main reason I come here for the friendly face and cleanliness. I was informed today auguast 11th that Mike has been fired. I will be canceling my membership and all of my friends I come with will also be canceling there memberships and will never recommend anyone to this gym ever again.

Looking for a gym to join, after reading all reviews, Ill be taking my business elsewhere and pay more knowing Ill be at a better gym

This gym has nice and great staff, 24 hrs Monday to Thursday, is in a good area. The only negatives I can think of, which will be individual specific is they dont have any courts like their competitors.

The gym has everything you need but i was there for two weeks and paid about 200 dollars to them. The girl laughed when I said I didn’t like the gym. Rude employees and don’t tell u about fees till after they have your card in their hand.

I find it weird your not able to bring a gym bag to the gym..but its ok to leave your things in your gym bag scattered all over the place. Also the staff claims no gym bags in workout areas but allow certain members to do it.. Im honestly starting to notice a color pattern here .

Clean. Not too crowded. Not a fan of the chubby guy at the desk. He wants you to workout in silence.

The red head guy does not have any customer service skills. Trying to cancel a membership is a big hassle, they tell you have to give 2 months notice after your contract is up. They are just trying to steal the yearly 50 dollar maintenance fee from you.

Hope to God you never need to cancel your membership. Its a sixty dollar early termination fee and also they charge 2 more months from when you cancel.
