I am a car enthusiast who holds onto his cars and as such my primary focus is to ensure they are only touched by the best, and that they are protected. The gentleman who used to detail and Clearbra my other cars left for Arizona a year ago and I was back at square one trying to figure out who I could trust to do a full custom Clearbra on the dream car I had just acquired.The car circles in Austin are rather small, so I started there asking friends. A couple of different shops came up, but Authentic Detail was mentioned by almost all of them. So I decided to stop in. When I came in I met Brad and Jeff and immediately knew from speaking with them and the condition of the shop that this was the place for my Scud. Jeff is a maniacal perfectionist, but also a realist. He walked me through the process, 8 mil vs 10 mil, and how challenging it would be to do my custom clear bra in 10 mil with one piece extending from the front of the a pillar, over the roof, down the rear quarter, over to the bumper and wheel. I pulsed the Ferrari forums and while several cars had full Clearbra’s, none had it without seams on the body like Jeff wanted to attempt. It’s almost like Jeff enjoys making it difficult on himself just to see what he can do. That is the kind of person you want working on your car!Over the process I got to know the owner as well. It’s clear to me that integrity is everything with him and his business and that he treats every single car that comes in the door as if it was his own. He’s just as passionate about the cars as we are.Throughout the progress I received status updates and pictures. How cool! I will be saving them and putting them in the folder with the rest of the information on my car.Yesterday I picked up my car after they finished wrapping the entire thing and I could not be more pleased. My other cars will be coming here in the future.

I don’t normally post about my activities, yet feel compelled to let everyone know how great the team was at Authentic. Brad McRae runs an excellent crew that all do top notch work. I was impressed with Brad before I even made it to Authentic. My brand new Tesla Model Y had some paint defects at delivery from Tesla and it was taken to a local paint and body shop for repainting. I planned to get paint protection film (PPF) applied by Authentic after my purchase. I contacted Brad to let him know of the Tesla delivery issues and he offered to talk with Tesla and even go down to the body shop to assess the situation and inspect the paint re-work. He helped identify additional issues, made sure I understood what was happening and moved his schedule around to accommodate me.When my car made it to his shop, I felt like I understood all of my options. I selected the self healing PPF and let them go to work. It was ready on schedule and looked great. I interacted with a number of team members throughout the process and peppered them with questions. All of them handled my questions and helped me - whether it was figuring out what cleaning products to use, what to do with rock chips, and everything else I could think of. I truly felt like Brad and the authentic team were there to support me. I HIGHLY recommend.

I recently took my 2014 Lexus ISF which Ive had for 6 years to Authentic Details to get it restored and protected. It was long overdue as the years of normal wear has its toll. It suffered from many issues from swirls, hazing or oxidation in some areas, and the original clear half-bra on the front was discolored and in bad condition. I also needed a few other areas addressed such as wheels and a small door ding. Plus its a black car so even more challenging.This car is very special to me, so I wanted a shop with professionals who take pride in what they do, who will take care of me through the whole process. This is exactly what happened. From the initial meeting to inspect my car, review my expectations and options, and getting scheduled I knew I was at the right place. They laid out the options and pros and cons of each so I can make the decision that is right for me. During the process, I was provided with timely updates and sometimes photos/videos as appropriate for some sneak peeks. They handled the areas such as wheel or dent repair with other vendors and timed everything so the schedule stayed on track.Jeff did a miraculous job of removing the old film and wrapping the front of this car. The curves on this front-end is deceivingly challenging and he made it seamless! He is called the PPF Jedi for a reason! The transformation on my car is nothing short of amazing. It looks like new again, or actually better than new with the ceramic coating treatment which gives that black the perfect mirror shine its supposed to have! The challenging areas which initially worried me was restored to its original glory. I cant say enough about the professional crew at Authentic Details. They took care of me from beginning to end. I dont know of many places that go to that level of customer service. These guys know and understand your car is your baby, and they treat it like they would if it was their own. A bit overdue, but I recently had my car in for a large amount of paint protection film work at Authentic Details. My car was bought new with marred paint and imperfections all over despite having 30 miles on the car. I worked with Authentic Details and had the car shipped directly to their shop to get the imperfections resolved and paint protection film installed.The level of detailing services I purchased is likely outside what a normal individual would purchase, but the attention to detail that Brad and his team portray is next level. Everything was completed meticulously and with care, which is all anyone would want with a brand new vehicle. I cant say this about many places, but I 100% trust Authentic Details with my vehicle and will be go-to detailer for life.For those shopping around for paint protection film, I encourage you to do as much homework as you can. After purchasing my 2018 Honda Civic Type R, I was wanting some protection from rock chips on my hood which were a problem on my last car. I read about paint protection film but never saw what it looked like in person. I went online and started reading reviews and found Authentic Details. After reading all of the great reviews, I contacted Brad who listened to what I wanted and gave me a list of options that would work for me. After dropping off my car, Brad gave me daily progress on what was going on with my car and gave me prompt answers to all of my questions. Communication was outstanding. According to Brad my car was one of his most challenging. The way that it looks, you would not have been able to tell. The car looks fantastic. The Clear bra is almost invisible and the ceramic coating gives the car a mirror like shine.After picking up my car, Brad gave a list of things that I needed to keep my car looking new. I contacted Authentic Details to get pricing on PPF and window tint for my new MB E450 wagon. I reached Brad, the owner who was super friendly and helpful. I let him know what I was looking for and Brad made some recommendations, some of which I went with and some I did not.Brad was super flexible and once we arrived at the services I wanted we discussed pricing. Their prices are not the cheapest nor the most expensive but as Id come to find out, worth every penny. I asked Brad about a specific date to get the work done and I was easily scheduled.I dropped the car off on the agreed upon day and Brad confirmed my requested services and I left. It took two days to get the work done and when I went to pick up my car it looked awesome. The tint went well with my white car. I also checked out the PPF work and it was excellent, not a wrong mark anywhere.I was very curious to see if they had cleaned up the interior of the car after the window tinting, past experience with another company in MA, they left my windows and doors filthy. My car interior looked spotless and everything was returned to me just like it was when I dropped my car off.I highly recommend Authentic Detail, and Brad as they truly take pride in their work, the quality is excellent and they do provide honest guidance to their customers. Very professional and honestly one of the best detailers I have ever met. My vehicle came from Hawaii and was covered in hard water spots. Authentic Details was able to remove all the spots and did a amazing job on the rest of the vehicle as well as you can see by the pictures! I was very impressed with how quickly they were done as well! I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future. They also tinted my front windows as well.

Brad goes above and beyond. I decided to bring my Model 3 to him after reading the reviews here. We emailed about what I wanted done and my car delivery date, and he worked with my budget. Once I picked up my Model 3, I drove it directly to him from Tesla.My package was to wrap the whole front, side rockers, and back bumper with Suntek Ultra PPF, then coat the whole car in Feynlab Ceramic Plus coating. He also coated my windows and rims too with the leftover ceramic.Install took about 4 days. Brad texted me pics every day with the progress. Upon pickup, he showed me how to care for it, and handed me a bottle of Feynlab cleaner and a really soft chamois to keep in my car for those unfortunate bird poop days!I was super impressed and the color after he paint corrected it really made it pop!I was so happy that I brought him my old 2012 Ford Focus for him to make-ready detail it for sale. The result was jaw dropping. Ive never seen my old car that clean before. He even detailed under the hood. My buyer was blown away when he saw it - It looks like a brand new car.Brad is super easy to work with and you can tell he loves what he does. You wont be disappointed.

I’m really glad I did because they corrected my red 458 and it looks like new the owner is a real professional guy and he does outstanding work. I had Brad and his crew work on my vehicle for a ceramic coating. As a pretty nit picky car enthusiast myself, I had a bunch of questions about options available for my car and about what goes into these options. We communicated over email and text and Brad was always responsive with clear detail about what was available, products used, how the treatments go, and what to expect. After having an idea on what I wanted on the budget I chose, I went ahead and dropped of the car at his brand new facility which was impressively squeaky clean. I was a bit worried about timing as the only day I had available to drop of the car was on a holiday, however Brad was more than willing to open his doors for me to drop off the car. We discussed some options after checking out the car and agreed that the best approach was to do paint correction and then apply a 3 year ceramic coat. Brad kept up communication through the process, updating me if anything needed some extra touches etc. and providing pictures on the progress. My jaw dropped after I saw the car for the first time after the treatment. My car is 8 years old, however with Brads touches, the car literally looked like it came off the factory floor. Scratches, wash marring, and other imperfections were gone. The shine was amazing and the paint looked dripping wet. After seeing it, Brad was more than happy to detail more information about how to take care of the car and what not. It is quite obvious that Brad has a passion for this work and truly cares about the satisfaction of his customers. Authentic Details did the install of XPEL 10 MIL PPF & XPEL Ceramic Coating on my Porsche Taycan and did an amazing job. They provided great customer service, answered all my questions as I was trying to decide what would work best for me - and made sure that everything about the install was as close to perfect as possible. Even with the thicker 10 mil XPEL PPF they did an exceptional job wrapping corners and tucking the film around edges. I also appreciated and strongly agreed with their perspective on dis-assembly. There are parts of the car they know come off and go back on easily and they remove those to wrap edges - but they recommend not removing parts that prove challenging (e.g. door handles in a Taycan) - and instead put a lot of focus on the PPF install around those parts so in many cases it looks as good as if the part had been removed (e.g. even though they did not remove the door handles on my Taycan I cant tell - all edges tucked in so you could not see). Overall they did an amazing job on the install and I could not be happier - I would strongly recommend them for anyone looking for a PPF install - five stars across the board!

Extremely thorough, professional, and take great care, and treat your car like youre an absolute vip, even if you come dressed like a bum (as i did).Pricing would be my only complaint, but, Im happier to pay for assured quality than to get the best deal on potentially sketchy labor. (Also, the ceramic coating process is more labor intensive than i had anticipated, happy i didnt elect to do this alone by hand).Trust the reviews, I thought they might be paid for or fake at first, as theyre generally just too glowing, they arent. They really are obsessive perfectionists running a very solid operation.If youve got the cash to splash, this is the place.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Authentic Details in Pville.I decided to have Authentic Details put ceramic wrap, paint protection film, and tinted windows on my Tesla. They are the best in town and its absolutely worth it. Before they do anything they fully inspect the outside of your car. During that they found some small paint inconsistencies on my front bumper. AD recommended that I get it fixed before they put everything on it.It was a great catch. Tesla would have to fix it.Since I didnt have a car I would have to Lyft up to Pville and drive it to Tesla, wait for 2 hours for the replacement, drive it back to AD, and then Lyft home. Only to Lyft back the next day to pick it up.AD offered to drive it to Tesla and then pick it up when it was ready. That saved me SO much time and hassle! They did it and Tesla did an amazing job of replacing the front bumper.Authentic Details didnt have to drive my car to Tesla. Tesla service center didnt have to move up the date. They both didnt hesitate to offer the extra service to make my experience better.Thank you so much to you both for everything! AD did an amazing job and I highly recommend you taking your vehicles to AD if you are looking for high quality work.

I have literally fallen in love with my car all over again. Car washes used to take me a couple of hours to do by hand, regardless of my methods: Thorough hand washes, power washing, etc. Also, no matter how much I wiped it down, I always felt stuck dirt/residue on my paint that I could not fully remove—not to mention horrible micro swirl marks that were a real eyesore in the sun.Since AD ceramic coated my car with their amazing Feynlab ceramic coating, I have not felt my car’s paint more smooth! Bought a new Tesla Model 3 and had heard about PPF online. Brad was able to break down the various options and what the pros/cons were and I never felt like I was being sold to. He ended up adding the PPF and tint along with a ceramic coat and the car looks amazing. Can’t recommend highly enough. A.D. not only fixed the botched job, but paint corrected & sealed the new PPF with no visible lines. I did the “track pack” and added the doors for extra piece of mind. Not only were they the most professional of the 3 shops I interviewed, their price was so much better than the others I actually drove in from Dallas to have it done right by Authentic Details. 5 stars from me, a very satisfied & picky customer

We worked with Authentic Details for ceramic tint on my car - It came out perfect. I loved this team so much shortly after meeting them that I had appointments for ceramic coating and paint protection film placed on my husbands motorcycle. That turned out so well that I made an appointment for paint correction and ceramic coating on his Camaro. It is shinier than the day we bought it. I would absolutely refer to Brad/Abby and their team of knowledgeable employees.

Our Lotus had driven through some white paint overspray that got on the paint, windows, wheels, black trim ... everything. Im not a car person but when I went looking for a greener car, I fell in love with my Tesla Model 3. And when you love something, you treat it right. I was a little intimidated because of the quality of cars they had in the shop...Lamborghinis, Ferraris and new Corvettes. Authentic Details had the challenging job of removing existing Xpel PPF from the front of my 911 and replace with new. The old PPF took a beating from hundreds of rock chips on the multiple hill country rides over the past couple of years so needed to be replaced badly. Needless to say Authentic Details did an amazing job and my car looks brand new again! No evidence of the previous PPF and the new PPF is wrapped perfectly around the edges and cant be seen. They even took off my headlights and front Porsche emblem to help perfect the install. I was very happy upon taking delivery of my vehicle. This was my first transaction with Authentic Details to have paint protection film installed on the front and partial hood of my 2020 Subaru Ascent Touring. I am very impressed with the quality of the work and their attention to detail. The work was completed promptly and looked like it had just been detailed all over even though they were just working on the front end. I recommend them without hesitation.

Had Brad and his crew do a full body Xpel Ultimate PPF and a ceramic coating on top on my new to me used 2017 Mercedes SLC 43 AMG. Other than some minor imperfections in the PPF (not their fault, lots of road rash on rocker panels and some chips in paint), they did an amazing job at hiding seems and wrapping edges. Car looks amazing and I will bring all future vehicles to them. No one in San Antonio does work this good. If you live in Austin, SA, New Braunfels, San Marcos, or Boerne, take the drive to Pflugerville for your PPF and/or ceramic coating needs. Its worth it!

Single mom on a budget. I’ve been making calls all week to fix the paint on my car. Not only was I spoken to in a very condescending way but the prices I was quoted were astronomical. I finally called Brad and he was the nicest, most courteous technician I’ve EVER spoken to. Took my car in and he quoted me a very affordable price!! It meant so much to me to not have to worry about the cost any more. Really great guy! His business will continue to be very successful cause they do honest affordable work.

Authentic Details is without a doubt the best in the business. I brought in a custom wide body RS7, and while many shops would try to charge an arm an a leg for the custom work and film, Authentic Details was honest with the extra labor and worked with me to reach an agreement. Their personalized touch and understanding for customer outcome is what sold me. It is very easy to find a shop that can apply PPF to a factory vehicle. It is very difficult to find one that perfects the application, especially on a custom body that doesn’t have precut stencils. I would trust Authentic Details with any car looking for the best PPF and/or ceramic coating, while not breaking the bank. These guys are the real deal!

I’ve used Authentic Details on 2 cars now and they both turned out great. My most recent was a new Supra, but the black paint being so sensitive to swirling already had swirling from the dealers detailers. The team at Authentic Details got the paint to perfect again, PPF’d the front including completing the huge hood with one piece of film so there are no seams, and then ceramic coated everything. The car now looks amazing and cleans up easily without worry of swirling or scratching!

I was extremely impressed with the work performed on my car. They exceeded my expectations by a mile. Should have expected that since Brad and his team were very professional from the start. Walking me thru what a regular job looks like and what they create. You can see this was not just a regular cut and paste job. When you look closely the protection film looks poured on. It was due to them measuring several body panels to make sure of proper coverage. Enough coverage to wrap around body panels. Work was accomplished well before quoted but I could not pick my baby up. So they went ahead and did some extra work that I was not charged for. I greatly appreciate the attention to detail and extra work and effort for me since my car is not an expensive exotic, nor did I pay for service like that. Thnx Eddie.

The reviews you see on Authentic Detail and Brad are spot on. Brad and his team installed Clear Bra on my car. Simply could not ask for or find a better installation. Looks perfect. And, as others have commented, his shop is science lab clean and secure. Most of all Brad and his team are craftsman who care about their work and the results -- down to the smallest details. They went above and beyond, even detailing areas beyond the installation. Throughout the process the communications were great, as were his suggestions and knowledge. Prices were very competitive and fair. I will be back for other detail and paint work on my other vehicles. I hate it when reviews are overblown - but that is simply not the case here. 2015 STI - Im new to clear film and ceramic coating so Brad was able to answer my questions. LOL I had so many (Sorry Brad for all the questions). I had interior, exterior & engine clean and finally clear film on the entire front. Great job on the film and the cleaning. They did their best based on the condition I have given my car to Brad. I had lots of paint chips do to road debris. Got lots of advice as well how to properly TLC my car. Thanks for all the help and will return for the ceramic coating in the future.

Great place for window tint. Brad tinted my Yukon XL with SunTek Ceramic. The privacy glass from the factory had no heat rejection in the rear area, my kids were burning up.The tint makes a big difference. Brad did a great job installing the tint, no issues.Highly recommended.

What a top notch place! Brent and his team are super cool! they dont try to over sell you and will answer questions all day. My first visit with them was to get a couple windows tinted and a strip across the top of my windshield on my F250. I was blown away that Johnathan the PRO Tinter lets you come back to the work area, lets you watch their CNC machine cut out the tints to your exactspecs per your vehicle. He lets you watch up close how he does the install and with my strip across the top of my windshield, he had me sit in the truck and decide where I wanted it. Again, I was blown away with the focus . the custome!I will definately do all my future business with these guys and will reccomend them for anyone doing a window tint to wrapping a Lamborghini!Fair price and over the top customer service!!
