Drove over 50 miles, one way, to get orthotics. Business locked up. Lady, unmasked, answered door and said they were closed despite open hours. Then she said we do appointments only. Wasted a half day. Ill go elsewhere.Dear Owner; Read your reply. As Christians, we find your response far from the truth. My wife witnessed the encounter and it disappoints us that you refuted facts. Integrity is key to resolving issues. Good day.

The receptionist was cold, not friendly, but the shoe technician was respectful, knowledegable, however, prior to visit I was not told that the orthotics would be $350, then they sold me $150 shoes, and was told to try them over several days. When I called back and left VM that the shoes hurt my toes, NO one returned my call. So doesnt appear they care about customer satisfaction.

I went to A Step Ahead only because my MD insisted . I was not happy at all about wearing diabetic shoes. To my surprise they had far more attractive styles than I could have imagined. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable they were. They were very kind and considerate as they helped me find something that fit my lifestyle and taste. The shoes I chose didn’t look anything at all like my idea of Diabetic shoes . When I got home with them I was shocked to find that they were the most comfortable shoes I had ever owned . I wear them all the time and can’t wait to go back and pick another pair.

I visited A Step Ahead with my 90-year-old family member. We found them to be attentive, knowledgeable, caring, and most importantly, kind. After an evaluation, review and discussion, our orthotist demonstrated a keen understanding of the medical issues at hand and was able to recommend several options to suit our needs.

A Step Ahead has been extremely helpful. They take the time to listen, answer questions, and explain your options. They have gone above and beyond, exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend them for custom orthotics.

They are very professional and accommodating. I welcome a Specialist that takes time to explain as well as listen to my concerns and issues.
