I have used this company for years. They have a program for around $175/year where you get two AC/heating system tune-ups (spring and fall or summer and winter) and if service is needed, a service call costs around $50, compared to the high prices others charge. When parts of your system need to be replaced they offer competitive or better pricing and they guarantee their work and systems they install. If they need to come out multiple times to handle an issue they dont charge a fee each time. Their answering service is wonderful and they are always calling to check in and get/give updates.I will continue to use this company!Check them out.

We needed our old A/C systems replaced so I called Air Specialist. The technicians they sent were professional and showed up on time. The work they did looks great, and my family is now enjoying fresh cool air in our home. July 19, 2021: I use Air Specialist for my HVAC systems and I think my HVAC technician, Joe, is the best! I did, however, have my ducts cleaned today and the service was poor. Both technicians did not wear shoe booties from the get-go and they left a mess behind them. I reviewed their work before they left and I asked if they could pick-up and vacuum what was left behind. They did NOT follow-up on their pick-up. I found a knife and a un-capped aerosol can in my 6-year-old daughters bedroom. This is clearly negligent and scary! Do I need to say more? I do not feel I should have to request technicians to clean-up after themselves much less more than one time...and to make sure they arent leaving dangerous items behind! This should be a standard service after they complete a job - pick-up after job. This makes me very uneasy about their level of training. I will not use Air Specialist for duct cleaning again.July 29, 2021: Update: I spoke to a service manager and I was assured the service performed was not standard. Air Specialists sent another group to re-do my duct cleaning which was completed two days ago. I believe these men were aware of the situation in my previous cleaning. After seeing the debris left again in my bedrooms I have to imagine theres an inconsistency in their training. Is it a lack of training in thoroughness and quality after the job is complete? I have to wonder. My bedrooms were left again with debris (see photos) and I had to request clean-up and even then the clean-up was not thorough as there were still many areas that required I go back and clean-up. This is not acceptable.August 03, 2021: Update: Last Friday, Jeff, Supervisor, called to make things right. He listened to what I had to say after himself seeing my negative review and photos. I feel a fair sense of justice, though, some remaining disappointment that it took many attempts to be heard. Ive been a loyal customer for 7 years and Ive often felt grateful to having had Air Specialist install and maintain my systems. I felt they were very professional and I didnt have issues with the installation. Im happy with my HVAC technician--he is someone I appreciate and trust. I hope to regain my sense of trust with other services offered by Air Specialists --with time.

My husband and I were very pleased with our service call with Air Specialist today. We called them yesterday afternoon after a terrible experience with another company. From our phone call, to the prompt arrival of our technician within a 30 minute window the very next morning, and to the completion of our visit we had wonderful service. Our technician Joel was very experienced and communicated his findings and recommendations clearly. The first technician assigned did not have the extension ladder to get on the roof. That was the fault of the office which had the info which I had reminded them of, but didn’t tell the first technician. Two hours later Ramses arrived and he did have the correct ladder. He did an excellent job, and I’ll request him every time. I really like the fact Air Specialist came the same day I called. I signed up for twice a year checks as well, which got me reduced trip charge and a big discount on parts. I’m very pleased!!!

Kyle, Advisor came to our home to look at our Furnace which needs replacing. He provided an estimate for Furnace R&R explaining our options. He was very professional and personable. He explained what would be needed and added to complete the project and of course meeting code. We are scheduled next week for the work to be done. Beside Kyles simple explanations, we believe we are getting a great system at even a greater price (compared to other estimates). Additionally, the Installers are employees of Air Specialists rather than contracted out! That should mean better service and installation.

We usually get technicians that are very detailed with what is done maintenance wise. This time, very little was said,except that we need to replace worn parts. Usually several options are given. A peice if foam needs replacing and i was quoted for a UV light and air purifier. Why? Why not just replace the foam? This time, one option with a price was given. Having more options would have been helpful.

It’s always a little challenging the first time you invite a contractor in your home. I was impressed by the entire experience. First they were on time. Second they called ahead. Third their prices were about 30% less than another air quality specialist company recommending the same scope with the same equipment. Finally what they did seems to work. My wife’s allergies are greatly improved. An added bonus was their attention to detail and willingness to explain what they were doing every step of the way.

No one answers your calls. Install was done incorrectly. After a really long time someone came out and did repair the issues. Now that it’s time for the maintenance they promised and no one is returning my call. Unfortunately if I had read the reviews rather that trusted the salesperson I’d would have been better off. Now I have issues and will need to call someone else since these guys aren’t dependable. Don’t waste your time or money. I’d recommended using another company

They installed a complete new system in January 2017, including AC, heating, and thermostat. They have provided twice-a-year routine maintenance since then. They are professional, pleasant, and provide a very good product and service.

I made a request for service using their website and they were very responsive. They contacted me less than 30min after I submitted the request to confirm my appointment and service needs. I wanted to do a check up on our AC unit because of an odd noise on the outside unit. The technician that performed the maintenance was very professional and explained the reason for the noise I had heard. He also explained the recommended repair and the cost. I will be using them to make the repair.

They came when I called at a early hour this morning and showed up at 4 pm house was 92 degrees when they got here they had it diagnosed and fixed within an hour. The service tech was very nice and was very fast and efficient. I would recommend this company and will most likely use them for future service

Had intermittent cooling issues with my main unit that eventually totally failed. Air Specialist worked me in their booked schedule the next morning for my emergency. Technician arrived on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, and had the needed parts on the truck. While price wasnt really negotiable, and as typical, extended 10 year warranties had expired last year, they worked with me to explain the best deal that reduced my cost for this repair, included a checkup I had already scheduled at additional cost, and covers me with additional services and discounts for a year if needed.Ive used them for all of my repair and new system purchases and will continue to do so because of my satisfaction with their service and appreciation of their treatment of me as a customer.

Carlos was the tech who came out to my house he was amazing. From the moment he walked in he explained everything and told me what it would cost and explained how everything worked I was getting. I called first thing this morning and they were here by noon same day. Great customer service with Holley as well who answered the phone when I called and was in desperate need of my AC getting repaired today. I was so satisfied I signed up for their maintenance plan. We hired Air Specialist to replace our 15 year old, working but ageing, A/C system in August 2020. The experience at the time was fine. Unfortunately, less than a year later the compressor went out. The technician who diagnosed the issue indicated the unit was installed improperly and there was not sufficient return air for the new unit. He made some suggestions to add a new return air, but indicated he really needed a manager to take a look to decide where it should go. He indicated it would be several days to receive the compressor and they would contact me when it arrives. I was not offered a portable A/C unit by the technician, but I did call and ask for one and appreciate that it was provided as I was without A/C for 4 days.After he left, I received an emailed quote for $1200 to install an additional return air. I called their office and asked for a manager to come out to make sure this is what was needed to be done. I was assured someone would call me back shortly. After 2 days of not hearing anything, I called back and spoke to a manager at the office, who assured my they would be coming tomorrow to replace my compressor and a manager would come check the return air situation. The manager did come but the air wasnt working, so he asked the technician to run a leak test. He assured me that my return air was fine if there were no leaks and suggested just installing a new larger grill. He said he would call me after the test came back to discuss. I never received a call back from the manager. I did receive a call from customer service stating I was scheduled for a grill replacement. They came and replaced the grill. No one mentioned the cost beforehand. I had hoped they would take care of this since it was something that was overlooked during the initial installation. But I paid the $300 for the new grill installation.All of this said, I am leaving the 1 star review, because I am still not sure if the return air was properly fixed. No one really wanted to take the time to make sure my system was running properly. I am still concerned my compressor may burn out again. I will probably get a second opinion because I dont trust how the situation was handled. If you want to do business with someone you can trust, I wouldnt recommend this company.

My AC unit stopped working. They sent a guy out who took all of 10 minutes to diagnose the problem. He stated my sink was blocked which caused the condensation to collect in the drain pan and triggered the emergency switch on the unit. He drained the pan and claims to have cleared the drain. Four days later, I wake up to a hot house again. First thing I did was determine if the sink was clogged again. It wasnt. This time I had another team out and they showed me where the drain pan was connected to an inverted pipe! They fixed it and had the air back on immediately without ever even checking the clogged sink.

This company originally installed my ac system. Their design caused a water overflow to occur in a vent riser pipe in a hard to see location that resulted in sheet rock damage instead of the water flow occurring in the ac evaporator pan. Their field manager came out to inspect the system and essentially told me that they had no culpability in the damage since the system was installed 25 years ago. Had they originally installed the system correctly, the overflow would have occurred in the pan, the system would have shut down and no ceiling sheet rock damage would have occurred. They do not stand behind their work.

We have used Air Specialists in the past for annual tune-ups, and they have always delivered great service without gimmicks. Well, today we needed AC repairs, and again, the service was both immediate and honest. Steve took care of our issue quickly, and he was too kind to my curious 9 year-old who asks endless questions. Highly recommend.

I Called the company this morning, the lady that answered the call was very nice, and I was immediately scheduled..The service man, Mr.Joseph came out within a couple of hours..He was very polite, knowledgeable of our system, and explanatory..I felt like he was genuinely here to help, and he made sure the problem we were having was addressed to the best of his ability..I would refer this company, and use them again in the future.

I have been foolish enough to use this contractor for over 15 years. They are overpriced (by a factor of 3), the technician cannot give you a straight answer, the operations manager wants to just keep adding more and more more. I also discovered that they did not put the right size capacitor the last time it was replaced. I would not recommend them for anybody again in the future.

Technician was friendly and knowledgeable. He looked into an issue I asked about and was prepared and willing to address it until he found a different way that my concern had already been addressed by the installer. The technician was thorough yet efficient in completing his maintenance.

Had a broken AC, and the diagnosis was that blower motor inside furnace was broken and needed to be replaced. The new part was fetched from the companys warehouse, however, the technician did NOT install the motor properly. After the system cooled down the house and the unit should stop working and be quiet. However, the furnace kept running and making noise. I had to call back and asked the company send a technician to take a look. Another technician came over and told me that the blower motor was not properly installed. The company charged over $500 labor on the replacement of the blower motor and it was NOT properly installed by the competent technician. What an irony!!!

The company was very responsive and came out the following day. The technician was professional. The repair was completed quickly. I would recommend this company to family and friends.

We called on Friday morning at 8:00 with our AC not working. Air Specialist Heating and A/C came out at 10:00 and replaced the capacitor in less than one hour. Harold troubleshot the entire system, narrowed down the issue, and promptly fixed our problem immediately. Weve struggled to get other repair people out lately, so we were very pleasantly surprised to get this level of service.

Last March I noticed that my home didn’t seem to stay cool replaced my Air Handler/furnace (cost me thousands of dollars) in my attic and paid for a service plan for the year. Last month before the storm I had a tech come to perform maintenance in my unit and everything seems fine, when it was cold. Once it started to heat up outside the following week, I noticed that half of my one story house (which also happens to be where my thermostat is located) wasn’t getting enough air. My son’s bedroom in particular has now become the hottest room in the house. It feels as if warm air comes through the vent. I tried closing all of the other vents in the home to push air to that room but nothing worked. I called for another specialist to come out last week. He told me he would redirect air from one part of my house to that room but stated in order to really solve problem in the ducts it would cost hundreds of dollars if the simple fix he completed didn’t work. Well of course, whatever he did, solved nothing. The problem has not been fixed and here I am again having the same issue with my A/C. The techs are all very friendly and seem like honest people, but I am not satisfied. I find it very odd that this new issue did not occur until I had my last maintenance visit. I will call another company for a second opinion to ensure I’m not getting manipulated.

I have an annual maintenance plan with this company. They call me when is time for scheduled maintenance to set up appointments. Everybody in the company is very nice and technicians call ahead and show up on time. I receive an email with the name and picture ID of the technician for me to be able to identify them and allow them access to my home. Their trucks are clearly identifiable with the company logos. This is very important for safety and peace of mind. With respect to their work they are very professional and nice. Will tell me if there are any issues or recommendations or everything OK. No sell up pressure. No scare tactics.

A/C went out at my home well after hours and the call center got service scheduled for me immediately- technician quickly recognized the issue and was able to repair with parts he had on the truck without breaking the bank too bad. Would highly recommend.

The Air Specialist technician was very helpful and friendly! I was disppointed in the solution since my Carrier system is less than 2 years old and I have leak in my condenser coil. The repair estimate was $2,400 with the part itself covered by warranty, and a brand new condenser is about $3,800. I thought Carrier was a reliable brand, but this is a pretty major expense for a system that is not quite 2 years old.Carrier should probably has some sort of contingency for customers with quality defects that missed inspection and protect their good will by working with thier dealers to provide a better solution.

I have sign agreement for preventive maintenance. Technician checked my system and concluded that I need to replace my blower motor. Gave me two solution, first around $2500 to replace motor and second recommended over $3000 to replace the furnace and blower. I looked on internet and the cost for this type of repair was in range $400 to $800. Not very honest air specialist.

Paid almost 200 dollars for a new furnace fuse. The system failed again the same evening. Have been told today it’s not the fuse but a faulty electrical switch. I’m confused that the fuse did not blow when the system failed a second time?

Once the technician arrived to perform maintenance everything was great, but communication was poor. First appointment was booked a week earlier and only received a phone call that they would need to reschedule at the end of the day after my 4 hour service window had passed. Day of appointment did not hear from the company until 50 minutes prior to my appointment when I received a call that they were 20 minutes away. Other than poor communication, when Frank arrived he did his thing and provided advice to maintain my system and keep it in tip top shape.

We currently have a maintenance plan with the company. They have always given us outstanding service and fair pricing. We came home to no AC. Called them well after hours. Guys came out, fixed the problem, and got us up and running. Their staff is always courteous, very respectful, always on time, and fix it correctly the first time. NOT HAPPY purchased complete system in July of 2020 for 7000+.00 and in 14 months I had to pay 250.00 for a repair the conspirator stopped working 😡 can not believe that a brand new (CARRIER) breaks down after 14 months and how Air Specialists charges 183.00 to replace something that I feel should be covered under warranty part under warranty labor to install id not covered + 59.00 for diagnostic when as soon as he walked into the yard said I already know what it is charged for 32 minutes😐. So I am saying if you cant stand behind the parts and labor maybe you shouldnt be selling AC. Oh yes one last thing how do they have the nerve to ask if I want to buy the annual service plan 😡 SO MY QUESTION IS WHY SHOULD I NEED TO BUY THE PLAN IF MY HVAC IS 14 MONTHS OLD ?
