Did not show up when scheduled. Repair man very nice and professional but pushy for sales. Parts took too many weeks to arrive. They said only a. Few days. Not very pleased. The only want to sell warranties.
Sears is no good, very disreputable I was told that they would replace the washer door because the chrome was coming/failing off, also had a rust spot on the front panel of the machine couldnt see any reason for this, so was told the Warrenty didnt cover rust or cosmetic issues, but again they told me they would replace the door, they didnt they lied, I had a master warranty on the machine at the time of purchase was told it covered anything and everything. So after Sears coming over 3 times for the same issue and promising to fix it, I got fed up called them to reimbursewhatever was left on the warranty and close my acct, I will never ever buy another Sears product again
Called Sears to repair my range. They came the next day and fixed the problem. Thank you Doug
Sears has always been good. I ordered blades for our riding lawnmower and they sent me the wrong ones. I called and reordered the right ones and sent the wrong ones back. They refined my money right away. I havent received the right ones yet .
My Kenmore dryer was not performing well. I called Sears Appliance Repair and got an appointment for the next day. The technician called about 30 minutes before arrival, put booties on his shoes before entering and immediately diagnosed the problem and proceeded to fix it. He was very thorough and neat leaving no indication he had repaired the machine. He also advised on some additional preventive maintenance that needed to be performed but was not done by Sears. Altogether a very satisfying experience at a fair price.
Two weeks ago we purchased a gas dryer from Sears Appliance Center. We were told in the showroom that the current dryer base would fit, so didnt purchase another one. A few days later, an electric dryer was delivered. Having been out of a dryer for many days, we kept the electric one and waited for the gas dryer we were expecting. When the gas one arrived, the installation technician told us that our base would not fit (although the dimensions were the same) and refused to help with it for safety reasons. I completely understand the safety concern, but he was extremely rude about it and I just wanted him out of my house. Now my husband and I have to figure out a way to get the current base (which will fit with a couple of new screw holes) on our new dryer by ourselves. We are in our 60s and this will not be an easy task for us. So no, not a great experience for this long time customer. We have bought ALL our appliances from Sears for many, many years.
Technician was knowledgeable on the repair of our refrigerator. The repair didn’t take long and service technician was very friendly. Thank you
8 am - 12 pm service window. No call or notice until I contacted the service team at 1 pm. The service is ok if you get a competent technician. We’ve had a few duds show up, miss the root cause of the issue with our appliances and cause further delays and even spoiled food in the fridge and freezer.Average service overall as some techs are good and some are horrendous and just don’t care.
Sadly it was time for us to ask our dishwasher to leave. It was simple getting tiresome with its continuous work stoppages. So we stopped at the Sears appliance store in Pearland to look around. The salesman was nice and meet us at the door. After asking a few questions he guided us through the maze of options, now only time will tell if we chose wisely. But we never felt pressured, it seemed all factual. Based on research before going in, everything they said matched what we had read in reviews. The experience was great. We were in and out in under thirty minutes. I contribute most of the quick turnaround to the sales person asking the right questions and knowing their products.
Save your money and do not buy a Sears Protection Service Agreement. It takes forever to schedule an appointment for service, either by computer chat or telephone. And once you do manage, it will take days for them to arrive. I have wet laundry locked in my Whirlpool washing machine. This is the FOURTH time this has occurred. And the soonest I can get service is three days, by which time it will be mildewing and smelling terribly. Thank you Sears - you’ve lost a life long customer.*This review applies only to the service received through their protection agreement, NOT to this local store.*
I bought a Samsung refrigerator from Sears Home Appliance in Pearland. No one ever told me about consistent issues occurring with this brand, but I have learned that there are many. One of which is the ice maker will inevitably start having problems within a year. Had I known this little fact, I wouldn’t have bought the unit or would have bought the extended warranty. I was told they were great! Upon calling the store reporting the issue, they sent me to Sears service. The tech showed up and was very honest. He told me I could spend over $300 for him to scrape some frost off, but it will happen again and again and again. I then called the store again and they told me to call service and register for an extended warranty. Of course, that was misinformation which the store played dumb about. I will now be calling a third party repair and will no longer be purchasing from Sears or Samsung ever again, and I don’t recommend them to anyone else.
