A nice barber shop near a locality, its not a big shop but people with gold heart inside which are professionally good in their job. This place have so many reason to go: its quiet place with no queue or waiting list, it is cheap compare to all barber shop nearby surrounding, they are fine in their job, nice people. Every good things come with some limitation and it has too. They accept payment only in cash and totally depend on road side residential parking.

My haircut is pretty simple. They do a fine job, fast, hardly any waiting, and for a reasonable price. Better than the mens salon that gives me the same haircut for 2-3 times the price.

This has been my go-to for about 5years now and will continue unless new people come in. Both of them always do a great job, but Martha is my favorite. Its a clean, no-gimmicks and never too busy spot with a great price too

Good senior cut and nice Barber

This is not a fancy barber shop but they do a good job for not too much money. I think a basic haircut is $18 which is reasonable. I usually go to Martha and she is excellent. Note that this shop is located on Catalina not Mentor as they moved several years ago. RIP Steve who was the former owner and a very nice guy.

I knew it was a bad idea going here when the place was empty and the guy barber was falling asleep on his chair.I shouldve turned back but I didnt.You know how they say, you get what you pay for?Well I did, and it was an awful haircut. She didnt listen to anything I said and cut it too short. Think about that for a second: if someone wants their hair cut long, why not just air on side of caution and cut it longer than you need to? You can always makes it shorter but you cant fix your mistake.I dont get why thats so difficult to understand?Honestly, Im all about people making a respectable income with their business but these guys have to understand what theyre doing. Being a barber in modern day California of all places, means people take their appearances seriously. This isnt getting a haircut in the old country in 1973 where its no big deal.If you cant understand why people care about their appearance, then you shouldnt be in business. Period.I couldnt get out of there faster. Gave a $20 for a $18 never to return. Lesson learned.

Appallingly bad. Do not confuse this with the Academy barber shop next door. The women I got, Marta, seemed unable to comprehend a haircut that wasnt a number or the fact that I wanted to keep my hair curly. I havent had a haircut this bad in... probably ever.

I told the lady how i wanted my haircut completely butcher the cut. She took way to long in the cut and i asked her how long has she been a barber she said why? like i offended her later she told me she had 15. YearsIm pretty sure she doesnt have 15 years under her belt safe to say Im not going back again

The definition of a neighborhood barbershop. They have been here for a long time. A small shop with just a couple of chairs, but an expert and friendly staff that can handle a wide range of styles.

Do not go here. It had been 2 weeks since my last cut and I went for a cheap trim. The guy completely botched the most simple hair cut possible. Its embarrassing, for someone who makes a living cutting hair, to do be this bad.

This place is horrible I came an hour ago and left very dissapointed with my hair cut I asked for a simple taper haircut but wen the woman that works there lined me up it was just bad uneven and crooked and still had to pay 18 $ for its do not come here unless u want a bad hair cut a heads up before u come to mentor barber shop 👎👎👎👎

Slowest haircut I got with the majority of it done with clippers. Seemed incapable of using scissors and lacked knowledge about basic haircut styles. For some reason the price was raised at the end of the haircut. Also, the barber needed to work on her English.
