My husband has been going with Jose for years and now we take our boys! Great place and very he is VERY precise on his haircuts. What I mostly like about it here is that you have to make an appointment, because I dont have time to be waiting around for hours for the barber. Definitely recommend!!

Been going to him since i was 16 wont let anyone else touch my head. Got 2 of my friends to come and they are now long term customers... jose takes his time and makes you feel like you are in an actual barbershop ... by appointment only ... always usually on schedule... its a good place to get a cut ... trust me!

If you want a Near Perfect if not Perfect cut, I recommend Jose 100% he has cut my hair for years and my childrens hair since their 1st cut. I especially like being able to call ahead for an Appointment for Zero wait time.

This is a follow-up review:Made two appointments for both my sons, got there early and since he wasnt busy he started right away. I must say Jose is a barber that takes great pride in what he does. Ive taken my boys to different places around Pasadena and this is hands down one of the best places to get a hair cut. Price is reasonable and thats WITH AN APPOINTMENT!! He made my boys feel comfortable and they look great!!Thank you Don Jose!!Sorry to say this place is half good.Two guys cutting hair, Fermin and Jose.Fermin is the old guy with little patience and makes plenty of errors. To start he miss heard me say double zero fade..medium. he gives my son a fade with a number 2...I corrected him and he got upset, saying that customers dont say the right thing. Then he cuts his hair and is about to finish and I notice that the fade is about 2 fingers higher on one side....I bring it to his attention and he makes a face. So he starts to correct it and then he says good? But its still looks low and he didnt clean hair off to give a good comparison. I told him yes but does it just need to be cleaned? Like just brush off cut hair? He snapped at me saying hes still not done...then why ask me!?!? Then he refused to cut my other sons hair. Could be hes age or just a bad morning. Either way last time I let my kids get a hair cut from him. Going with Jose from now on.

I have been a client of Jose since 2000. I recommend them 100%. My son from 6 months Jose makes his haircut. And no one else has cut his hair for 8 years. Jose has endured it.2 more years and he will grow a beard ..My jr says The boys At the barber shop and the girls Ala estetika .. lol ..
