I rarely fill out Google reviews, but I felt compelled to do so after my experience with Lexie (@FacesByLexie) at Collective. It had been about 6 months since Id gotten a haircut, and I wasnt quite sure what to do with it. Lexie was extremely friendly, bright, and helpful as we talked through some options and got to work.Fast forward 18 hours, and I felt like my haircut didnt quite fit the bill (no fault of Lexies) - it had been so long since Id gotten it cut and I realized I wanted to make some more changes. I reached out to her, and she was SO gracious and friendly - got me back in the chair in a few hours, was very patient, and delivered slam-dunk service. I cant explain how rare it is - she had no reason to help me out - but did so and did a wonderful job even though she didnt have to. I will unquestionably be back.The studio is run very cleanly, with great mask policies and all the stylists were very prompt about disinfection.

Before I went to Adrienne at Collective Hair, my hair was... fine. It looked how I felt - like I was a mom of an 8-month old, just keeping it together. I wanted a change that would give me a little pep in my step, and LET ME TELL YOU. Adrienne Reed is a freaking w i z a r d. She took me from heavy layers to chic bob. Her talent with cutting hair is unrivaled; she spent every bit of time and attention giving me a cut that would not only look pretty but perform. For those of you whove had hair constantly flip in on one side and out on the other no matter what you do, you know why this matters.And of course, her coloring is on point. I went lighter than I ever have and Im so glad I trusted her! Im a firm believer that you get what you paid for, and Adrienne is worth her weight in gold.

The receptionist was really nice. She helped me when I got lost. My hairstylist was Daniel. He did a good job on my thick, coarse hair. Very cool guy.

I am obsessed with my new cut! I am mixed and have in-between 3b and 3c curls, so it has been a struggle to find a stylist who I felt understood the right way to do a cut. Let me tell you, Daniel knows what he is doing. I felt very comfortable in his chair and he was nice enough to give me some styling tips that I could do at home. Highly recommend!

Maggie does the best blonde. Period. I’m a little nervous writing this because when word gets out about the best blonde colorist in LA, she’s going to be too busy to see me. But I owe it to my fellow blondes to leave this review. She’s new to this salon, and she’s the best.

Ive lived in many LA neighborhoods, but Pasadena holds a special place in my heart. Its where I gained my independence as a young adult and also where I met some of my favorite people and service providers. Adrienne is one of them.Its been 15 years and there is no one that can cut my hair like her. So much so that when Im out of town or need a speedy blow dry, other stylists ALWAYS comment on how good my hair cut is. Shes an artist and the magician that allowed me to wear my hair natural and air dried!I whole heartedly support them and recommend their services!!

Had a birthday blowout done by Maggie & it was perfect! She was super sweet & made it an enjoyable experience!

A fabulous artistic spot with truly gifted stylists.

My sister made her hair appointment on a Saturday and showed the hair stylist what she wanted through pictures online. She left 4 hours later and was blond instead of getting the ash she wanted. She came back a second time to get the blond fixed and a hair cut. She was charged again and once she got home realized she had lines on the side of her hair. Had to come again for a 3rd time... waste of money and waste of time here. It shouldnt take that many tries to get what you want.

I get my hair done by Bibi and she is amazing. I dont trust anyone else with my cut and color! Highly reccomend!!
