It’s a nice gym, the one in Palm desert is my favorite for a number of reasons. EOS just won’t leave you or your emergency contacts alone even after you cancel your subscription.. I cancelled 3-4mos ago and i still get texts, emails, mail, and now this is on my gate. I’m so irritated I’m hysterical like it’s actually hilarious how annoying it is.

EOS locations in Palm Springs and Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley are two of the best gyms I have been to, short term and long term. Their facilities are complete, and the activities generous.I greatly appreciate their attentiveness to clients, especially during the past eighteen months of daily, weekly, and monthly changes and adjustments to openness, access, facilities and procedures. Procedures adjusted in response to government mandates and suggestions, and most impressively, to the responses and reactions of us clients who came and went thru all.Thank you!

Great gym. Huge. Full sets of equipment. Nice enough staff. Have never showered there so cant speak to that. Only gripe is there seems o be a shortage of plates or members dont place them back correctly. Oh, and its dirt cheap.

Someone, most likely an employee, has been using my debit card for about 6 months. Small charges that range from $3.71 - $7.26. I wish I could figure out who has been doing this.My bank has now reversed all charges. Be careful using your debit/cc card here. They can save it in the computer and use (employees) it whenever.

Fair price but crowded with sometimes long waits for equipment. Stay away from any kind of training contracts there is no way out, not even if you have cancer, all the training you pay for will expire, it was a really bad experience for me to finally beat cancer only to feel ripped off, personal training is not cheap. There are other gyms in the area to choose from.

Really love this gym! The maintenance and front desk team are incredibly friendly and helpful. The maintenance guy is always on the floor or in the change rooms fixing what needs to be fixed. If you point out something, he listens and is appreciative of the feedback. He usually has it fixed next day (where possible). Big fan of this kind of attitude and work ethic.

A local Palm Springs gym;, nothing particularly distinguishing from other gyms in the area. Its part of a larger chain. Their machines could use improved maintenance.

Great facilities clean and never have to wait for equipment. Trainers are knowledgeable and friendly. Francisco is working me back into shape after being gone for awhile.Aces all around.Kyle

Signed up for 14 day trial..unfortunately when I got there it was the same gym from years agoEquipment is old and outdated. Sanitation stations are broken and scarce. Its not very clean, equipment is all over the place..one thing that I appreciate is the window view. Parking is also scarce as well as classes.So I canceled the trial, via email, with a followup call and was told that I would need to come in in order to not be charged. So here is where the games began. I was told to wait for the GM for help and was told me they need 30 days for cancelation but will charge annual fee of 49.99 along with the monthly charges. The GM said that they offer the trial but rarely do people cancel. So essentially youre placed in a contract with no intent to honor the trial. He gives me his spill but I didnt want my time wasted. I just wanted to cancel. How they try to manipulate you to stay is so irritating and a terrible sales tactic. So hes where it gets interesting, he says he can send a request for you to not be charged..I said okay..can you send it now...oh, I can send it in an hour he says. I asked why cant you send it now. Him..I cant multi-task but Ill send it. He sends it. I walk out and check my email and all I can see is that he sent an email to me, not the request department. I go back in...you didnt send the request I tell him. I think he was shocked he couldnt play me. Eventually he sat me with someone who could do the request. This is an hour and half in!!!! Its crazy hour $24.99 can make a person lose their character and integrity. Ughhhh...

PROS:1. Decent range of equipment to suit most training goals.2. Reasonably priced (if you stick to the basic package).3. Great views, especially when it was in the parking lot because of covid.CONS:1. They will try and upsell you on:a. the packageb. private trainingI didn’t need either but let them convince me just to get out of the uncomfortable OTT sales pitch.2. You’ll probably get overcharged at some point. This has happened to a few times now, when I dropped or paused my package/PT sessions. Then you’ll be spending time at front desk (time you will never see again!).3. High sign up fee.

I can say this much about the place the gym is open 24 hours so if you like the kind of thing 2 3 1:00 in the morning working out just may be the place for you

Im very glad I joined this gym. Open 24 hours, friendly staff, and well equipped. It is currently undergoing a very slow remodel but Im sure when its complete they will get those other two stars.

Great space for your fitness needs!!Plenty of cardio equipment. Free weight area can seem small at busier hours.Cleanliness is important and PSP EŌS exceeds my expectations. Members seem to help with the use of sanitation stations.The staff I’ve had contact with are knowledgeable & caring professionals.

Good gym to go to men’s rooms are clean and all the equipment is up to standard everything works would give it 5 stars but there not much space to stretch or roll out upstairs it gets very crowded there they had a open space with artificial grass called the yard where you could stretch,roll out,do body weight workouts,etc… don’t know why they took it out it’s currently just a wall with unfinished drywall

Outside now- I’ll post a closer look at the outdoor gym next time I go. I love how EOS has adapted to covid times. Outside, tents are up and masks are required. Highly suggest looking into it for your fitness needs.

This gym is hot, literally, its 80F degrees in the treadmill area in the afternoon. Cant complain too much though. Just thankful theyre open back up. I will be lifting only from now on. Great equipment, friendly guests, and staff. I highly recommend trying this gym out.

Entry after you made your reservation online, scanned your tag is exhaustive. Where in the does it say to present email confirmation?Nowhere online. Nowhere in the gym. Zero notification when signing up.Any additional issues my membership will be canceled

Terrible asst manager lady with blonde hair. They called me about 7 day pass, just to get me in there and timeshare sell me on their memberships. Sketchy and the other reviews saying they steal credit card #’s... Asst manager obviously don’t use the gym, so she don’t want to let others try before they buy. BUYER AND INQUIRER BEWARE

They charge you a $50 initiation fee??? For what? They should be giving you a month free. A few months in I decided to cancel and was told there is a cancelation fee??? What? Is it that hard to cancel? And you have to give them 30 days notice. Its a membership, why the hell do they need 30 days? So I decided to freeze the account. Next month they charged me. I froze the account. This place is run by a bunch of unqualified and bored kids. Their goal is to get you in a membership that costs a lot and see how much money they can scam out of you.

Cheapest place around and 24hrs, hence the 3 stars. Staff is nice. Not the best cleaning protocols, even after COVID. Lockers still as dirty as when I was there 2-3yrs ago, with the circular drink stains and grime to prove it. Only paying lip service to capacity protocols, letting everyone in irregardless of reservation. At least invest in some hand sanitizer dispensers and a an intermittent cleaning crew...

Crowded during the week but empty on the weekend. Good gym for the price especially if you travel as it allows you to workout at there other locations even out of state.

This gym does not enforce the mask wearing of clients, especially over the nose. One employee told me that they did not like to offend people by asking them to put their mask on. Another said that EOS policy was to allow the mask below the nose. I have notified the managers and trainers several times with no change. Be careful and alert if you join this gym if you are working out next to a person who does not wear their mask properly.

Modern, clean and spacious gym in Palm Springs. They have pretty decent equipment. Had a nice workout without being crowded at 6:30qm.

Recently went to get a membership and received very unpleasant customer service from the front desk workers. Very rude from the start. The guy started to ask person questions that he shouldn’t have been asking, especially since he was not the one who was going to create my account.

So far so good. I just joined EOS and I hear that theyve opened up inside. Having been a personal trainer for 15 years, so far this gym has met up with all my expectations

Being in the gym makes me feel so much better, I know as long as Im in the gym doing my thing then Ill be a step closer to my goals..

Have been coming here for awhile. The price is good and the location is great. However the equipment is not in the best shape and it can get extremely busy. The staff is okay but Ive had many issues with payment and my contract. There also seems to be a high turn around for trainers. .

Aside from not using this gym since late February, they supposedly froze my account though Ive been charged 3 times since then, all for different amounts of money. now after the headache of this ABC cancellation process, they proceed to tell me they are charging yet ANOTHER month fee for cancellation, even though they just charged me YESTERDAY. Has this gym EARNED 100+ dollars from me in charges after being closed for months? Multiple reaches of contact and their lack of following through? not an experience Id recommend to ANYONE. They should respect that people dont feel comfortable going to a place where bodily fluids are exhausted, and have the courtesy to honor these exceptions during these unprecedented times.

Very shady, unethical business practices. Not transparent about policies, rush you through signing, try to push you to sign up fo a membership before even SEEING the tiny, overcrowded workout area. They blame corporate when called out. Avoid this gym chain like the plague.

Just signed up for membership. Being new the the area and after shopping around, was very pleased with my welcome. Joe and additional team member took their time to not only show me around, but demonstrated new exercises and machines I was not familiar with. When we sat down to talk sign up, I felt like every option was discussed and no high pressure sales. I’m looking forward to getting back to my pre covid weight with this team!

Good safety protocols and controller numbers of members

I took a friend there to work him out. There were so many areas and equipment to explore that my buddy never worked out with me again. I told him that it would be a light workout because neither one of us had been to a gym in a matter of months. However, I was like a kid in a candy store once I saw all of the equipment and attractive people in there. We were in there longer than expected and I may have worked him out far harder than I intended to. He was sore for a very long time. This is a well-equipped gym where you can just come in, get a beastly workout, and leave without any hassle from anyone. Some of their locations offer more or less than other EOS locations, but they seem to be dedicated to improving their facilities. This is usually a sign of a great fitness company. They offer many classes(some are free of charge), even some equipment for mixed martial artists such as heavy bags. They offer accommodations for powerlifters, bodybuilders, competitive athletes, combat sports athletes, and even those just looking to stay in shape for health reasons. I didnt notice gym intimidation from people there, but im usually too focused on getting jacked to notice the behavior of other lifters unless they are being obvious enough for the entire gym to notice. The membership pricing is affordable and you can cancel your membership anytime. I would just like to have more water points to top off my hydration container.

Do not sign up here. I cancelled my account when covid began and they have still been charging me all year. I just found out they were continually charging me this last month. I tried to call them but they kept sending me to a voice-mail and will not return my calls. I had to change my debit card so that they could not charge me any more and still i get messages saying my payment to them was declined. If I had not changed my card they would still be ignoring me and stealing my money! I have been trying to contact them to tell them to stop trying to steal from me but they wont answer nor return my calls. Thiefs! Do NOT give them your card information!

Just enough equipment to get a workout, in a parking lot with a view of the airport and mountains. Reservation required at least 2 hours, so you have to plan your day. Despite the reservation, its still too many people for the amount of spacing and equipment available. But you get what you pay for, as this is one of the less-expensive gyms open during the pandemic.

Lots of people 🙄 be aware and they hog equipment the need more space and more equipment.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Not sure if it’s EOS in general or this specific location but I’m noticing other people having a similar issue to me when it comes to canceling their membership.I went in person to cancel my membership in March however they failed to do so and I just recently noticed that they were still charging me which was also odd since the card they had on file was expired. I then figured out that they were charging a card I had on file at a different gym (not an EOS gym) since they both used ABC financial which seems SUPER illegal.I called EOS and was met with an very abrupt girl who said my account wasn’t canceled which I tried explaining that I went in to do it but EOS never completed it but they insisted that I had made a mistake even though I clearly went in and canceled, she then told me to call ABC financial since there wasn’t anything they could do. I called ABC financial and they said to call EOS cause they couldn’t do anything HA but said EOS had already left a note in my account that I “claimed” to have cancelled my account when they were the ones who messed up. I had multiple charges on my account that shouldn’t have been there of 9.99, 7.30, and 49.99.I called EOS back and the same “friendly” girl picked up and put my on hold for about 5-10 minutes and then hung up on me. I tried calling back and was pushed to their voicemail. After 15 minutes they tried calling me twice but I was driving and couldn’t answer. When I called them back the manager Javier picked up and told me the only thing he could do for me for refund the 49.99 and not the other two which I agreed since it was a pain to even get in contact with someone. Javier said it would 3-5 business days to get my refund and I confirmed with him that I would get an email stating that they canceled my membership and issued a refund.Over a week went by and I didn’t receive any email or refund and I know they have my email since I got an email from them asking me to vote them for best customer service for the Desert Sun! What a joke!I tried emailing corporate through the EOS website about my issue and typed everything out and explained the whole issue however I was sent a very short email from Joe saying the refund was sent and it’ll take up to 14 days and that my membership was canceled. Didn’t even apologize or anything just three sentences for massive complaint. I typically brush stuff like this off however the fact that they were charging my card wrongly and made it obvious that they didn’t care at all about it made the situation a lot worse. Fast forward a few days and my card was charged AGAIN for 9.99. I’ve been charged almost $80 on my card without my consent and have jumped through hoops with them to make it stop but they continue to do so. I called them on October 13 and it’s now November 1 and haven’t gotten one penny of a refund and they’ve made it completely obvious they’re going to continue to charge my card regardless.EOS is either purposefully running scams when people cancel or they hire stupid incompetent employees whether it be the front desk workers or the managers. What’s worrying is how many people are still being charged without them knowing!!

The gym itself was fine. They had a good selection of equipment. My rating is because of my experience trying to cancel my membership. When the gym opened for a few days in August, I froze my membership and then the closed down again. They opened again the late September and I was charged a $5 fee, which would reoccur every month while my membership was frozen. I would also have to pay the annual rate guarantee fee of $49.99 at the end of October. I followed their directions online and emailed ccrequests@abcfinancial.com on October 1st stating that I was giving 30-days notice to cancel my membership and that per their instructions online that if “After the first year, you are NOT responsible for the RGF (Rate Guarantee Fee) if it is due during the cancellation notice period.” This applies to me. I have sent a total of three emails using the same email chain, showed my printed emails to the Assistant Manager in person on October 16th who said he would contact their financial department and make sure my membership was canceled and that I was not charged the annual fee. And I called their financial department, which they have contracted out to ABC Financial twice. When I spoke to someone on the phone she had no record of my emails and did not know what I was talking about when I mentioned the cancellation policy on the EOS Fitness website and that the annual rate guarantee fee fee did not apply to me because of the statement I listed above. She said to forward my email to customercare@abcfinancial.com and customercare@abcfitness.com with the information from the website. I did this on October 20th and have not received a response.No one has followed through with canceling my membership or honoring the cancellation statements that are listed on the EOS Fitness website. I can see that they saved my emails from October 1st and 5th to my membership account requesting a cancellation, but my account is still active and I have a $59.99 charge ($49.99 annual fee and $10.00 monthly fee) due on October 25th.

I have been a member of EOS for over three years. It’s a great gym. They do a good job of cleaning and monitoring the gym, to make sure the members are safe. The gym was just renovated prior to COVID. It does get crowded most of the day, but for $9.99 a month what do you expect? Well, I expect to be able to use the facilities. !This has been an issue here due to COVID. It’s impossible to get an appointment to work out. They only allow 50 people per hour to be in the gym. You must make an appointment 24 hours in advance which is nearly impossible to get. There are over 1000 members, so you’re odds of scoring an appointment are slim and none. I haven’t been able to workout for two weeks. So, unless you’re willing to workout in the middle of the night, it’s useless. I had to join another gym to be able to get my workouts in. Eos should not be charging it’s customers, since 95% of them cannot use the facilities. They are the only gym in the area I’m aware of that is requiring an appointment. They are limited to 10% of capacity, but that should be 100 people per hour, not 50.I’m was told by an employee they had to cut the number of members at the gym to 50 per hour because they have too many members. Did I say crowded? This is not entirely their fault, but don’t be charging me when’ it’s nearly impossible to use the facilities. .I am looking forward to thing improving but it is a while away unfortunately.

Best Gym ever. Super clean! Great equipment and always a machine available. My trainer Eddie has really opened up how i look at fitness and my ability to push through what i thought were limitations! I love how i was paired up with someone i can relate with and highly respect! Thank you Eddie

I’ve been a member coming regularly for more than 23 years, through the changeover from Gold’s to EOS. I love the place and the staff is terrific, except Johnny (as his tag read; Dominic as listed on my receipt) needs some training. Not smart to harass members, especially older longtime members every time they’re simply trying to purchase post-workout merchandise from your employer. Dial it back, Johnny.

Had an amazing experience with this gym . All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Fitness manager Ken, helped me resolve a problem I had with my membership. He took care of me the same day . Explained everything step by step . Definitely love going to a gym where your taken care of and valued as a guest .

Wow. I just met Javier, the manager, and was given attitude and almost escorted out of the facility. I called earlier and asked about the 7 day free pass and whether classes were included. Marc on the phone told me yes and to come in. When I did and then met Javier, he insisted on a local ID in a brisk way. After telling him that such was not mentioned on the phone, i went back to my car, got such, and provided it to him. While guiding me on a tour of the facility, he said classes were not included. I told him he had just contradicted Marc and wasted my time. He told me I did not need to talk to Marc and wanted me to leave the facility. Don’t go here!! The worst in customer treatment!!

The personal trainers here seem very friendly, Ethel was most helpful. She gave fun killer workouts but also made the power lifting movements easy to understand/learn. I definitely recommend booking sessions with her if you are eager to fast track your fitness goals.

Came in hoping to get a membership but they wasted 30 min talking about stuff I had no interest in, not to mention they blowed off my questions. After that they wouldn’t even let us try to club, Javier was no help at all and just continued to pressure us about membership, when I finally said screw it let’s just pay the drop in because I wanted to workout. he then proceeded to mock us at the front desk saying “ha a membership would have been faster” needless to say I paid a drop in and will not be back.

The facilities were reasonable (wish they had pool) and cancellation did NOT go smooth. Overall they were a good gym and worked out any issues I had. I would not go so far as to recommend them to my family, but in all fairness they did a good job when issues did arise and they did make every effort to resolve the issues in a timely manor. They did right by me even if it took a while to get there, good job!

Joined since my gym in DHS isnt open yet. Might stick with this one either way. Employees seem friendly and always cleaning.

I absolutely love this gym, from the day I decided to sign up, to bringing my daughter to the daycare for the first time. Everybody is very friendly, I love the girls in the daycare, they’re very patient and loving with my daughter. Plenty of machines, my favorite is the cardio room.

I was promised a 7 day free trial but when I checked in the front desk and after talking with the assistant manager Brenda, I was only given a 1 day pass. If they didnt honor the 7 day free pass what else would not be honored if I would have signed up with them. Dont get me wrong the front desk assistant was very nice and very helpful and the gym was big but if you dont honor what you preach then at least be honest and straight out. False advertisement!!!!!

Mostly good. Just try to avoid dealing with the staff at all costs and you should be fine. $10/mo gets you workouts without classes. Great deal. Avoid the training. They say you can use your sessions anytime, but if you wait a few months, your sessions disappear from the system and you have no proof that you had sessions left. Wasted a few hundred bucks that way. Thats okay, never again, and now you know, too.

I regret signing up here and I cant wait til our four months w a trainer are over. they will sell you on everything the first day you sign up. one of the managers is a great sales person and once you are signed up its off to the next...the staff at all levels are not the best at customer service....i will leave the worst comments out but you are better off at any of the other gyms. The smaller ones are a bit more welcoming...making the effort to know some of their members. very disappointed! The management seems like sales is a priority and not keeping its members
