I have taken a number of different t vehicles to Keith’s. I have found their estimates to be complete and competitive, often the final cost has been below the estimate. The quality of work has been great and they completely stand behind their work with a generous warranty. The have always provided a shuttle ride when needed. I have referred friends there and will continue to do so based on my experiences.

Keith and the crew have taken care of my families vehicles for years. Every time I need something they are able to get me in and resolve the issue, and explain everything that they are doing, as well as complete a comprehensive review of the vehicle. Once the repairs are complete it is great to review what was done, as well as anything that was found to be recommended for service. New or old, little or small they have taken care of everything for me. Everything from simple oil change type maintenance to a custom engine getting installed to replace a blown engine in my jeep. Very poor service and over priced. Was quoted over $2,000 for jobs with 70 dollars worth of parts. Shop down the street quoted the same three jobs for $450. I ended up doing the repairs in about 3 hours! Very over priced. The customer service is also terrible would prioritize other things in front of me and no communication unless you reach out first. People on phone then seem annoyed that you are checking up. That is with the exception of Shawn. He was awesome and helpful. If you are stuck going to this place with no other options reach out to him. Finally after pulling my vehicle back to work on my self there is damage to the hood and the brand new back window is scratched. I put this window on the day it left, brand new. Comes back and looks like it was thrown around on the ground. Owner did not care or respond when these issues were brought up. Stay away from this place! Many more places in the area that will treat you and your vehicles with respect.

I have heard from a few people that Keiths Car Care is reliable and provides quality work. I finally tried it for the first time, got a ride to work right away, the car was ready on time and I did not feel like they tried to sell me any repairs that were not really needed. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend.

I recently went to Keith’s Car Care for a corrosion free undercoating for my car. I chose it because it is one of the two listed corrosion free undercoating providers in Chicago area. I made an online appointment and got a text message to confirm. When I got to Keith’s, I realized I was there a day earlier than my scheduled appointment, but they promised to service my car as soon as they could. The waiting room is clean with self serving coffee. Even though they were busy that morning, they did an excellent job undercoating to my car. I was impressed by their courtesy, professionalism. I wish I could give it six stars! I would definitely come back next year.

They are very honest, and affordable. Which is hard to find in most car repair places these days. My husband has taken a couple vehicles to them already and we will continue to use them in the future.

I would rate this business with 10 stars. I couldnt be more happy with Keiths Car Care.My truck and only vehicle broke down the day before the long Thanksgiving weekend holiday and I was planning to leave on a long fishing trip. I called them 10 minutes before they were even opened and they still answered the phone. A tow truck was sent and was there in less than 20 min. They fixed all the issues that were wrong with my truck and I got it back that day. They even took, pictures of all the issues and the repairs made. Their prices were fair and the work done was awesome. I would highly recommend Keiths Car Care for all your mechanical issues.

I brought my car in to get serviced for an oil change and said I needed about 3000 dollars of work. I took it to get a 2nd and third opinion. All of the work that Keiths said I needed was not true. Dont let the fact they take pictures fool you. Ended up going back to my hometown midas and they said I needed and oil change and brakes potentially in the future. With any car place that says you need this done and it is over 1000 or 1500... just get a second opinion and see what they say off their own inspection.

Geoff here at Keiths Car Care went out of his way to make sure my repairs would fit into my budget. Went with them on a recommendation from a client and I honestly would never go anywhere else for big repairs. He was able to save me about half the original quoted price of my service and therefore also my vehicle, and for that I am so grateful.

I have used Keiths in the past for our car repairs, but the experience with the lemon Jeep Cherokee my son bought was amazing. This car has been nothing but problems since they bought it. It seemed every other month it was in the shop- Keiths had to even replace the engine and the radiator! We have since moved 3 and a half hours away and called when it started leaking and over heating again. I didnt have any idea what could be done, but Keiths offered to come out with the tow truck and pick it up. This time it needed a new water pump! It was fixed for a very good price and ready to pick up a couple days later when we could get to town to pick it up. I cant thank Keiths enough for their excellent service, going above and beyond expectations. You all are the greatest!!!

Staff is extremely service-orientated and thorough. Good communication with explaining issues and backing it up with photos, along with recommendations. They do a great job and are our go-to for any automotive issues!

I have had too many bad experiences of mechanics and shops taking advantage of my lack of auto knowledge.Not here. I feel 100% comfortable with Keiths. Lets face it, our cars are our lifeblood. Once we dont have a working car, we feel that pain everywhere it hit. Trusting someone with that is a big deal.Ive had a few situations where Keiths could have made a lot of money off me, but they chose not to. Anytime I have my or my teenagers car in there they fully explain the issue, provide a few options (all with safety as #1), and take a lot of pictures. They are also incredibly prompt and efficient, keep me updated on progress, and are typically ahead of the schedule they initially gave me.I am buying another car soon; I will be bringing it here for maintenance or repairs, NOT the dealer.

I went to Keiths Car Care for the first time yesterday for an oil change and couldnt have been more pleased with the service they provided.A few other issues came up with the car (Nail in tire, bad filters, and bad breaks) and they never pushed me to get it all done there. I did have them take care of the filters that needed to be replaced and one thing that stuck out to me was when I was done they provided me with a couple sheets of paper with pictures of each specific issue with the car and the recommended action to fix it. This was small but something that definitely stood out to me.I will be a repeat customer in the future!

This is your go to shop. Everyone is super friendly. While waiting they greeted several customers by name the moment they walked in. They take you to the shop floor to show you issues so you can see for yourself and make the call. Additionally services are accompanied by pictures. Lastly, pricing seemed reasonable. We switched from our other local shop to these guys. Would recommend to anyone looking for great, honest service.

I had my car rustproofed at Keiths with their Corrosion Free process. I drove a long way from Indiana and was not disappointed! I brought my 2005 KIA to Kieths to have an oil change and have them inspect the exhaust system because it was getting louder. The oil change was $19.00 and thats hard to beat. They also inspected most everything else one could think of and found a few problems, one being two missing lug nuts. I had no idea I was missing the lug nuts. They replaced them free of charge. I looked online to see what replacement parts cost for the exhaust system and it can run well over $1000 depending on what is needed. Kieth was very honest and said it was a minor repair and it only cost me $160. I was thrilled! Kieth and his employees were friendly, professional, and most of all honest. Honesty and competence in workmanship are what Im looking for when it comes to auto repair. I found it at Kieths.

Ive been an Oswego resident for more than 9 years, yet somehow only recently made it in to try Keiths Car Care. Maybe its because the location is a little tucked away, but its certainly worth seeking out.Keith himself treats his customers like old friends and made me feel comfortable and at home in his clean waiting area. One of the nice touches is they have a personal coffee brewer with your choice of complimentary coffee or tea to enjoy while you wait for your car. Even the restroom was clean & inviting .. at a car place?! Yes. If youll be there a while for more extensive repairs, no worries, Keiths has a small library of books you can pick from and return on your next visit. The prices are reasonable and fair and they are always running specials. Honestly I was blown away at the service I received with a simple oil change and how many extras that came with it. A tire rotation? Yes, please!I want to kick myself for missing out on this hidden gem all these years. Ill never get my car serviced anywhere else again.

Keith and his staff is top notch! Every time something happens I can call them and they can take care of it. Some people say you can find a better price, but you pay for what you get! I have a 2000 gmc with over 200k miles and they keep it going for me, and have NEVER had to take it back for the same problem twice! Ill pay a few extra bucks for top notch service! We were in need of towing at 1 oclock in the morning after having an accident. We called Keiths Car Care because it was close to our home. We were very surprised when someone actually picked up on the other end rather than being sent to after-hours voicemail! Paul arrived to the scene about 20 minutes later and we were off and running. They got our car repaired within 24 hours at a very reasonable cost. We will be using Keiths for future car repair needs.I do have two minor complaints which explain the reason for why I am giving only a 4-star rating. 1) The rewards program: on the surface it seems very good - a $25 rewards certificate for every $300 spent. I recently had $1000 in repairs done and received 3 $25 certificates. Unfortunately, they all expire in about 3 months and cannot be used together. So it is very difficult to use all of them unless I schedule 3 different appointments back to back for different servicing needs, and 2) There was a $49.95 Shop Supply fee on my invoice separate from the parts and labor costs. They explained this is something they add to everyones invoice to cover general overhead expenses related to supplies (sprays, lubricants, etc.) since they cant itemize every spray. This is the first time I have ever encountered this. Typically I would expect these costs to be absorbed within parts and/or labor costs.All in all, great servicing.

Weve taken our vehicles to Keiths for over 4 years now. Recently, we needed to have them look at our minivan in preparation for a cross country road trip/vacation. I had some work done at Keiths, and I will never go there again. They significantly overcharged for not only the labor, but the parts as well. I had 2 other shops and a dealership review the work done and all said Keiths charged $985 For a job that the other 3 would have charged $500 or less for. Keiths is trying to sell the fact that they warranty their work and that is the reason for the additional cost, but that doesnt add double. I advise everyone to look around prior to going to Keiths. There are many honest places in town.

This afternoon I had to call Keiths Car Care to confirm my U-Hal reservation for my move. I was firmly greeting by a hostile and highly aggravated Keith. When I inquired as to my reservation I was placed on a brief hold.This hold was the most pleasant part of the call.Keith returned to the phone and unleashed a fire storm upon me as he proceeded to tell me that my reservation was no longer as promised by U-Hal corporate. He spoke to me as if I were stupid as he explained to me that one of his customers received precedence over my reservation placed through U-Hal corporate.If Keith is this hostile in regard to a simple U-Hal reservation, I can only imagine his irate hostility toward his automotive customers.

Brought my car in for new headlights yesterday, they took the car in back and said the bulb exploded when they tried to replace it. So, electrical problem, cost would start at $185, as long as they didnt turn up any additional problems. Drove down the street to another repair shop, and 2 bulbs, $24 later, and headlights are fine. Oswego should be ashamed to have these criminals in town!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE you will regret it these ppl are crooks who pray on women who don’t know cars I dropped my mothers car off a few days for a simple break job I told them to call me before they start any work instead like the scum they are I never received that call they then called my mother and lied to her telling her the vehicle would need $4000 worth of work with $1700 being in breaks alone mind you the dealer is only $1300 once I herd the news I did what anyone would do in my situation I told them you guys are crazy I’m coming to get the car right now they then called my mother back and told her “we will see what we can do to save you some money” they then faxed a quote of $2300 still very unrealistic I came to pick up the which they insisted was unsafe to drive and should be towed by them I told them I’m not giving them a penny and I drove the car to another shop that ended up doing the same repairs I was originally quoted $4000 for $1100

Living in Oswego for thirty years, I tried a number of shops for auto repairs. I settled on Kieths 25 years ago, as he has been able to quickly diagnose and repair a variety of different issues on different cars. Sometimes he would accompany me on a test drive to identify a noise. He seems to have a magic butt-- as soon as he sat in the seat, the noise would disappear. Yet he would research and keep checking for the phantom noise on later visits, usually with positive results.The providing of customers with a ride home is appreciated. There is also a tow truck service affiliated with Kieths.He has an active customer engagement program and keeps track of the service record and recommended servicing needs for your car. Now retired, additional mileage grows at a slower rate, yet I continue to receive his monthly bulletins. My new favorite auto care place. My Audi A3 was exhibiting suspension noises. Keiths Car Care diagnosed it to be a bad wheel bearing. Had it diagnosed, parts sourced, repaired, and oil changed all in one day! To my surprise they even took pictures of the repair. All repair shops should do this!

Keiths Car Care is where I started bringing my cars when I moved to Oswego and when they were at the downtown location (corner of Jefferson and Route 34) they were great. Once they moved it seems things have changed.I had all four brakes done on my Saturn Relay minivan to the tune of $800. 15,000 miles later Im hearing squeeling and I bring the van back and Im told I need new front brakes and rotors. Im going to be charged $350. What happened to work done under warranty? I argued this should be covered and Keith said no. I wont be back.
