This was my second time visiting the Velvet Nail Bar. Today I was with Charles for the pedicure with the hot stones and an acrylic fill in. He did a really good job. We didn’t make an appointment and were seen immediately with no wait. The complimentary drinks (we had mimosas) were a plus. It’s really cute in the shop and I love their set up ! I will definitely be a regular here.

Brandon did an amazing job with my nails. He was quick and very precise and super friendly. He did exactly what I asked for but better. I love this place, its the only nail salon Ill use!

They’re very attentive and the nail technicians listen to what you want and make their own professional recommendations which I very much appreciate. Plus the free complimentary drinks are a wonderful plus! It’s my go-to nail salon now.

I had my nails done by Tracy, and my experience was excellent. Usually when I get my nails done, I end up with crooked nails even after I ask for it to be fixed, and it absolutely bugs me. I asked Tracy if she could fix two of my nails that were done by someone else that were crooked, and she did a great job. She made sure that I was happy with it before she continued with doing my nails. Overall, Im very happy with the service and quality of work that was done.

I visited the VNB on 2/1/21 for an acrylic french tip, the set was lifting within 7 days, I called and the manager gladly offered to have it fixed. Vivian did an amazing job fixing my nails. She is knowledgeable, detailed, professional and friendly.Thank you

I went to Velvet Nail and Bar on Oct 18th asked for coffin shape did not get it. I still have acrylic all around and under my nails I was not going to leave a bad review but after a nail coming out yesterday that was the last straw. I got even more livid. I spent 70 dollars between my nails and a mimosa my nail should have not came off, has only been a week and my nails already need to be done, they are coming off, I have acrylic under my nail and on the sides, shape and expectations definitely weren’t exceeded. I’m super dissatisfied.

We went with a group of friends. They were understaffed and also when we called they said a different price and once we went there the price were all hyped up. Rip off, avoid this place... There are a lot of other places with better service and better parking

Yesterday was my first time at Velvet, and let me tell you I am overly impressed. I have a normal salon I have been going to for 3 years but they take forever. This is 5 minutes from my job, I was greeted by a super friendly receptionist and tom did my full set. I honestly thought when I showed him the picture of what I wanted it wouldn’t come out as good. Sheesh they came out better. From the service to the quality I will never go anywhere else again.

Great service and color collection. They do pretty much everything plus a suite of facials and other spa treatments are available. Not going to tell you my fave tech cause Im keeping him to myself. All the staff know when I call and welcome...feels like my friends. Plus the comp cocktails while you are there dont hurt at all.

I’ve been coming for about a year, but this weekend was probably the last time. I booked my appointment online for a Pink Cosmo pedicure ($40) and a gel polish change ($20). Eric’s service was great but when I went to check out the bill was $80. I was informed that the prices had increased on all services. It wasn’t listed that way on the website when I booked, nor did anyone bring it to my attention when I arrived. So with a 20% tip, I ended up paying almost $100 for a pedicure and not even a full manicure, just a color change, which is INSANE. I’ll be finding somewhere new asap.

I’ve been coming here for a few months now and they’re amazing. This is the only place in Orlando I’ve found that actually does my nails perfectly and it lasts the full 2 weeks. Tracy is awesome. They’re all very welcoming and the spa itself is really clean 10/10 recommend.

The service was superb and very professional. I give this salon a 11/10 stars. I recommend it to anyone near the area or coming through town to give them a visit.

People there were very helpful and very nice. The only problem i had was the flowers I asked for my nail art. They used stickers which I never tried and figured it would be fine. Didn’t notice at first but as soon as I got out I noticed they ended up looking horrible and after 1 hour they started to fall off. Didn’t put 1 star cause they were all nice and my other nails with no art look good.

Nail techs complained about wanting to go home during a 7pm appt that they started late on, making me feel super uncomfortable (they close at 8). They also did not provide full service requested because they wanted to finish quickly. I have had hundreds of pedicures, but this was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Will never return.

I found this nail salon on google when i needed a last minute pedicure. it was so easy to book a same day appointment on their website. the staff was extremely friendly and attentive! i had one of the speciality pedicures with Liam and it did not disappoint. i’ll definitely be back!

I went here for the first time after reading the reviews. I got a pedicure and gel manicure on Sunday. Yesterday, on Wednesday, four of my nails peeled off. I knew this was gonna happen with how fast she was rushing through the drying process but she said it was all good. Now I have 4 out of 10 nails looking crazy just 3 days after my $40 gel manicure.

The nail bar was cute wish I had a better experience. Went a week ago and my SNS now has chipped. I hate to correct a professional, but as a paying customer I asked if he was going to do the final coat with gell polish, as Ive had in the past. He said no only regular clear polish.During my pedicure, a different technician serviced me and noticed he didnt clean under the toe nails, asked him, he told me after the polish, and never did. Their treatment was less then expected in such a nice place.

Great experience. They took their time; no rush, no shortcuts. They have all the right equipment to do the job well. Plus, full complimentary drink menu. Very clean and spacious. We made our next appointment before the first service was even over.

Velvet Nail Bar though, is a notch above the rest, with top-class service and sanitation, a wonderful ambience and great array of services. I have found my new nail salon! Right downtown this place is super close to home. They have so many color choices and the technician did an amazing job on my nails. I havent stopped getting compliments! To top things off the complimentary drinks, solidified my return. I cant wait to go back.

Been coming here for a while always have the best pedi ever but this time sadly it was rushed and not taken good care of the message was ugh ok but the not best from here!!! I always get the 45$ pedi and always tip 20-30$ depend on the tech but this time I’m not Most likely not coming back

So my girlfriend and I came here because she wanted to get pedicures for her and I along with a full set manicure for herself. I usually get pedicures with my girl and it’s not a bad experience. But it’s NEVER something that I would brag about to anyone. So let me tell you... I am SO glad my girl decided to change up spots and come here. Everything from the greeting when walking in, the ambiance, the fact that they serve alcohol(Wine and beer only), and of course... The wonderful techs and their phenomenal hospitality. I was nudged to get the “Absolute Detox” pedi. In my world of being a clueless male, $55 sounded pretty hefty for getting my feet done. However, it was worth every dollar and penny. The hot coal massage was amazing, the foot massage AND back massage that’s included was amazing, and my feet have never felt this good. I highly recommend this place to ANYONE in the Orlando area looking for a great pedicure and experience.

I am new to the area and was looking for a new nail salon. The reviews were really good and they are open on Sunday so I made an appointment.I checked in and saw a huge open space with manicure and pedicure chairs crammed in. The manicure stations were packed and very close together with customers and techs were not socially distanced. This made me extremely uncomfortable. My nail tech set up my nails to soak and moved me to a pedicure chair distanced away from others.She proceeded to do my manicure there and did not seem to mind at all.There are six large screens placed together for television however it is off center so it was hard to watch.Overall it was a decent experience. My nails looked pretty good however I would not return due to the lack of social distancing.

Been around the world and this is hands down the best nail salon I’ve been to such good customer service and gets you in and out; Charles Was amazing !

Great Costumers Service and Great People

This place is super cute!! Very modern and the staff is nice. I got a pedicure and a dip. The pedicure was not what I expected. The lady who did it took a chunk of skin out of the side of my big toe which was super painful and did not do a good job with the nail polish.She got polish all over my skin and when I told her about it she got upset. She had a different person do my nails. My nails came out nice. You also have to pay for parking I probably will not go back. Plus is they serve drinks.

I came and booked a pedicure and full set. the pedicurist was super friendly and I enjoyed the conversation. The tech that did my full set rushed and my nails look so bad. I asked for ombre with a natural pink and after trying 3 different colors gave up. The quality of the ombre is terrible its clunky and doesnt blend at all. I waited a week for them to grow on me and 4 of them are lifting already. My shape I asked for is uneven. They place is beautiful aesthetic wise but low quality on actual services.

It was my first time at Velvet Nail bar the other day, let me tell you, I was very pleased with their service. I was greeted by the receptionist and told him I wanted a gel manicure, he showed me where all the gel polish are, as I was picking out a color my nail tech Tina came to greet me then proceeded to walk me to her station to get started on my manicure. The entire time she was super sweet and gentle, I’ll definitely be back soon!

Amy is amazing! So sweet and she did a fantastic job on my nails! I was so sad after another salon messed up my nails so bad that they were left so thin and brittle and kept breaking so I had to cut them super short. Amy transformed my nails! I’m getting compliments left and right. So happy I found this place!

I came in for a Mani/Pedi and Tina did a fantastic job for me she was very skilled and experienced. Next time I called and made appointment for Tina, but when I arrived they said Tina was unavailable and gave me to someone else who did not do anywhere near the quality I received from Tina. I will try Velvet Nail Bar one more time in hopes to get service from Tina again, but if they give me to somebody else, I will look to other nail salons.

Horrible service! My technician was gone at least 50% of my pedicure. She was more worried about what was going on behind me rather than my pedicure. The quality of the pedicure was very poor and went by very quickly. Great atmosphere but HORRIBLE service. My tech was named Sarah.

Visiting from Ohio. I come in to get my nails, and got service right away. The place is SO beautiful! They have neon lights, up to date, and beautiful wall decorations and a bar. They entire place has the best energy. I laughed and my nail tech carried a loving conversation with me the entire time. I felt at home, and loved. Very recommend!

Nice atmosphere but the end result was a bit sloppy as the dip acrylic was not smooth in some places and look bumpy.

Very professional and friendly. Vivian is my girl, she knows my ingrown nails like the palm of her hand. Ive been her client for 4 years now. I highly recommend her, but all are excellent. They are not a five star, they are a 10☆.🏆

I love Sarah my nail tech she does it all nails, toes, and eyebrows. They have great drinks and they are definitely COVID compliant. All around great service.

I ask for an acrylic set with pink and white ombre am extremely disappointed with the results. You can clearly see the white outline underneath a very poorly done pink shading on the bottom. I paid $75 4 in acrylic set with home pink and white ombre which is already on the pricey side. I also have acrylic still underneath my nails which was not cleaned properly. I was offered a very small discount for the poor ombre job, And Was told if I want to come in at a later date to have corrected I would have to pay full price all over again. There was no understanding for the use of my time drive to location or satisfaction with product. Highly disappointed with the salon.

My husband and I had great pedicures here. We also liked how we could have a complementary drink as well. The place was really clean & we liked how everyone was wearing masks.

This salon is very extravagant and also a relaxing atmosphere. Lots of gel and dip color selections. Can’t wait for my next visit!!! Oh yes & the receptionist is very sweet and the nail techs are very detailed I love it there very comfy & the young lady in the front is very awesome to!!

Arrived today for my 11am appointment. Second time being here and same BS. The lighting in the room is so poorly lit, the lady waxing you can’t see anything. I went for a full arm wax. And let’s just say I went home to shave all the patches that were missed. Also when my arms calmed down, my left wrist and hand were left badly bruised and my right arm has cuts on it. Not happy what’s so ever. Go buy the waxers some proper lighting.

They waxed my face and I work up with a scab and now I have a scar on my chin

This is one of my very few favorite nail salons besides Spa Nails in College Park. Management really has this place in order - it’s clean, employees are thorough, and it’s gorgeous inside! They offer a FULL menu of cocktails- both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Highly recommend as I’ve been coming here for pedicures since they opened.

This place is a gem! Defiantly gives you a Miami vide. Luxury but with affordable prices. I came in wanting a design and Kym killed it. She took her time and was nice. Drinks are included as well in the prices. Cant beat getting your nails done while sipping on some champagne! Kym really went above and beyond on doing my nails. Will defiantly be going back!

Honestly worst place DONT come

Was in town and had a broken nail that need to be fixed. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The receptionist was super sweet, easy to talk to and very handsome. I don’t remember who did my nails, but he was very gentle with filing and doing my cuticles. It was a very clean salon with a lot of color selection! They have a mani-pedi package that comes with an alcoholic beverage. I got a mojito, so it was definitely a relaxing time. Will be coming back whenever I’m in town!

LOVE VELVET NAIL BAR. We have been several times and the customer service has been great every time! You can sit back and relax in the massage chairs while enjoying a glass of wine and having your nails done all at once. Doesnt get much better than that! Henry and Tracy are nail Technicians and have been great.

I really really really wanted to love this place since it was so close to my work and home. First time going to this place I got a set of acrylic nails $60.A week 1/2 into it they started lifting.I called them they told me to come in and they were going to redo them for free and they wanted to do the dip nails instead, they said that the acrylics lifted sometimes, they promised they would not lift.I never really like the way the looked but I agreed since they said they weren’t gonna lift.The dip nails started lifting!!!!They re did those and they started lifting!!!!!I called them and told them that I already had them re-done twice and the guy doing them is bad and must not know what he is doing!!!So they tell me to come back they will have someone else fix it.Anna re did them and then they Charged me again Lol.after telling me they were going to just fix it.I wish they would have read done them the first time with someone that does good nails instead of wasting all my time with this guy that obviously didn’t know what he was doing. I have never had any problems with my nails lifting at any other salons.

Nothing much more to say than this nail bar is AMAZING. From the selection of complementary drinks ( Champagne, mixed drinks & sodas) to the relaxing aesthetic this is the only place I would get my nails done in Orlando! Did I mention, my mani & pedi look amazing... yeah this place is the best, Tracy did them!

This is by far the most luxurious experience I’ve had at a nail salon. Complimentary drinks and beautiful dipped nails! The staff is incredibly kind and the space is airy and clean. Plus there is no strong smell of chemicals.

They got in a early to set up for us and were super attentive and met everyones needs! If I lived closer, I would go back whenever I could!The bar kept those who just wanted to hang out happy. The prices and product kept EVERYONE happy. Many in the group kept complimenting ME on the choice. I kept telling them to review because many others need to hear about this gem!The big day wouldnt have been the same without these amazing artists!

Overall 5 stars, A+, highly recommended. The salon is brand new, luxurious, clean, and welcoming. My specific service was a “velvet sunrise pedicure” and Kim took her time which was very pleasant! The prices range from $30-$60 depending on your pedicure service but 100% worth it and heck yeah you should tip generously. The experience and service was well worth it! Another little bonus is the complimentary drinks! (Water, tea, soda, wine, mimosa, champagne, beer).Overall great experience! My toes look amazing!

Very eclectic & large atmosphere. The staff is very nice. They have a large selection of polish colors to choose from (regular & gel). I like the bar area to lounge while drying after my pedicure. I also love the menu selection of services that remind you of an adult beverage.
