The first photo is my complete overlay set I paid $65 plus tip. Not bad the second photo is what I showed the nail tech and what I requested. The last photo is my previous set. Overall my experience was ok my nails were filled very hard to the point they were bleeding around the nails I asked the nail tech not to use alcohol on my ring finger which was clearly turning red from being filled to rough. She sprayed my hands with water and continued to use the cotton ball with alcohol on my fingers. I will say the nail tech was nice enough to have objects that you can rest you hands on while she worked which was nice and comfortable. I was looking forward to going here but I will not be returning. My fingers still hurt the next day from being filled to rough. Do with this information what you will this is a honest review

I went for the first time to this place last week! Tommy did my nails and he did the exact same design I told him to! This place is great! You should definitely try it out! I love it😻😻

My nail tech was really rough on nails and cut my cuticle to bleeding. All she did was superglue it. That’s not a huge deal, but my nails also look terrible. I genuinely don’t know why it turned out this way but best believe I will never return again.

This was my first time here. They did a pretty good job. The place is not the fanciest place in Oviedo, but they did a nice job. The shape of my nails is flawless.

Mai did my nails and she was amazing! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she totally delivered. I do dipping powder but because I wanted a different type of glitter on 2 of my nails she said I would have to do those 2 in acrylic which I didnt mind. I loved the final result and the best part this was done on my natural nails.Will definitely be going back and asking for her from now on 😊

Came in to get my daughters nail done for her first time. Explained what she wanted which was a simple matte black coffin shaped nail. I was told set price only to be told after the fact it cost more for the shape. Like what?! You already have to shape the nails so I’m not sure why the extra cost, especially since I showed what we wanted before hand. I didn’t argue and simply paid. Aside from that her nails just were badly done. Crooked nails, and they appeared as if they were lifting. They were done at a upward angle. Super strange looking.

I loved the first set of nails I got here, but my last visit was extremely poor. My last set of nails started lifting the same day of the appointment, and were on crooked. I went in to try and fix it today and they told me that was the lifting and crookedness was normal. It was unfortunate seeing as I still had to pay the $40. Some of the nail techs are awesome, but I wouldn’t recommend going here for consistent quality.

UPDATE AS OF JUNE 16, 2021.....I AM STILL A REGULAR CUSTOMER OF TOMMYS - EVEN OVER 3 YEARS LATER!!!! He is the ONLY person that I will allow to do my nails at the salon.I am here RELIGIOUSLY every 2 weeks and Tommy NEVER disappoints me. I went and got a manicure and the very next day my nail broke. I contacted the salon and they stayed that they would fix it and I could come in anytime during the day. I arrived to the salon at 4 pm. I was not helped until 5 pm in which they put the broken nail to soak. The woman instead of waiting for my nail to soak and be done took a person behind me and started working on their entire set. I sat and waited for 30 more minutes with no help. As I was going to leave someone else finally came up to me. I informed her I could not stay and had to come back as I had been waiting a hour and a half. I did not even receive an apology.all I got was an “okay.” I am not happy with the service that I received today.

I used to love this nail salon but lately they have gotten way too comfortable because they have a high clientele due to accepting walk ins. The customer service has plummeted and I have been going to this salon since it was La Vi Nails. They pick and choose what they want to do when it comes to designs each day and don’t really set appointments. I made an appointment over the phone a week in advanced for my birthday and upon arrival, no one knew I had an appointment... They just stared at me. When I requested Quincy’s help she stated “ I don’t want to do your nails.” Why did she say that? I will never know. Currently looking for a new salon after 5 years coming to this one.

Im very happy with the way my nails turned out. I came in as a walk-in for a mani and pedi with gel polish on both. The wait wasnt long and the gentleman who did my nails did a great job (I couldnt understand the name but it started with a T...). He was very meticulous about cleaning up the cuticles but was also very gentle. I have been searching for that go-to place and I think I found it.

So I hate leave bad reviews, but I need to share my experience. I went in to get an acrylic design done with my friend, and they were able to take us right away. After the design was done the colors were not really what I was hoping for, some nails are crooked, and I didn’t like their attempt on the design. But the original lady I had was nice so I still have a good tip. Well I went back the next day to change the color (knowing I’d have to pay), and I got the same guy who did my friends nails. He seems soooo annoyed I was back, and was the most aggressive nail tech I’ve ever had towards my nails. My cuticles were horrendous looking when he was done and the quality of the second coat (which was just a plain color) was horrible. As I was leaving he told me “okay no more color changes”. I tipped again cause they made me feel awful for coming back, but I know from this experience I can’t come back if they lack this much hospitality and professionalism.

It Was My First Time And I Must Say Service Was AMAZING & Fast, Workers Were Very Friendly, Loves The Atmosphere And The Fact That They Offered Drinks Upon Arrival. The Only Thing That I Minded Was The Fact That The Shape (Acrylic Coffin) Wasn’t As “On Point” As It Should Be, They Work So Fast That Accuracy Isn’t Their Best Quality. Other Than That I Loved It.

My manicure looked beautiful and amazing.However after 2/3 days 2 of my nails had air bubbles in them. I got gel full set.

My husband and I went for pedicures together and they were able to squeeze us in for an appointment. They were super professional and did amazing jobs! I highly recommend for pedicures my nails and feet were rough and they did an incredible job!

This is my first time here and I’m really impressed with how clean the salon is. The people working here are very kind, efficient, and on time. I got a gel manicure ($25) and a deluxe pedicure ($30) and the pedicure was fantastic. Their prices are super reasonable and they are all listed on their website. I will definitely be coming back! They also practice social distancing, mask wearing, and plexiglass shields at the manicure stations. 👍🏼

Im new to Florida and this place was closest to where I was staying. For the life of me, I cant remember my nail techs name, but he did an excellent job of bringing my designs to life. I get my eyebrows waxed there too, but even though its been done by the same person, it comes out differently each time she waxes them. No biggie though, because my nails and brows come out looking bomb. The staff alwayscomes to watch what hes designing when he does my nails (when theyre inbetween clients). The place is clean, staff is attentive, and they have lots of color options. Its affordable, they do great work and Id recommend getting your nails done here.

I usually get my nails done every other week or every 3 and this is the first time I absolutely hated it walking away.. I went and got dip powder which they said was $35 (no tip). I asked for almond shape and after he was done with one of my hands, he tells me that it’ll be an extra $5 because of the shape I chose.. (never heard that before in my life). After he was done with the powder, he shaped it a little more and asked me if it looked okay and I kept telling him I wanted it more pointy and he would file it rounded more.. He wouldn’t understand what I wanted even after I showed him a picture. Once he added the shiny top layer, on some of the nails it was stripy and wasn’t smooth. One of the nails had a pretty rough edge and I kept asking him to fix it on my way out and tried and he also saw that it was bumpy and said that that was the best he could do.. if I could give less than one star I would.. horrible place!!!

I had such a nice relaxing time at the spa getting my nails done . I asked if they could do a spiderweb on my ring fingers and big toe, they pulled it off so wonderfully Im happy !

I went on a busy day and even though I made an appointment to get a fill on my nails I feel as though I was not given enough time to do my nails. I asked for a design but was turned down. The nail tech was very rushed and seemed like they wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible. Because of this, I was not satisfied the outcome of my nails.

I went to this salon twice and BOTH times I got cut by 2 different technicians. The first one at least apologized and the second didn’t apologize, didn’t finish my manicure with a massage and tried to rush me out of the salon. My mother is a nail tech and this by far has been the worst experience I’ve ever had.

I never write reviews but I was so impressed with the service here that I had to leave one. Today was my first time at the salon and they have earned a new customer. My nails came out beautifully.

This review is in reference to COVID-19 and precautions that nail salons in particular should be taking. They had a sign on the door with about 8 “rules.” Masks, wash hands, etc. One rule said “customers will be seated 6 feet apart.” When I first entered, there were not many people there, so by default.. everyone was 6 ft apart. Once I started my manicure.... they sat someone not even a foot away from me. This, to me, was rude and not thoughtful of other people’s feelings and desires to social distance. They did not check anyone’s temperature, I did not see anyone wash their hands in between customers, wipe down tables or chairs... nothing. If you are looking to be safe during your next nail salon visit... do not come here. They essentially ran everything exactly as before the pandemic, just with customers also having masks on.

Really bummed about my most recent experience. My first time here was the best. My friend and I felt especially cared for and the techs took their time and gave great massages.Most recently I made an appointment for 3 people for my friends birthday. When we were seated I even made it a point to say that my friends and I come here because of the great massage we received last time. We were in the chair for maybe 25 minutes, rushed so that they could get to the next person. No massage really, just rubbing lotion on my legs for a little bit. We drove over 30minutes to go to this salon, expecting the same experience as the first time, but we definitely didn’t receive that.I definitely won’t be returning.

First time here and Tommy did an amazing job!! I have never gotten dip nails before but wanted to try it and he helped me so much decide what to get, the length, & shape because I was completely clueless. My nails look amazing! He did a great job making sure each one was perfect.

Hands down one of the WORST salon I have ever been to. The first time I went here the nail tech had some kind of food poisoning that she clearly shouldve stayed home for... She kept getting up to throw up and proceeded to do my nails with throw up on her shirt. My nails turned out well but too pointy, so I had to file them when I got home. I liked the way they turned out, so I came back to give it another try. This was a mistake. Immediately I was seen and got my previous nails taken off, but I was NOT informed of the hour and a half wait I would have to receive a nail tech that could do my nails. After waiting an hour and a half, I was finally seen. They hurt my nails and barely gave me a discount. AVOID COMING HERE.

I have been coming to this place for a couple of months now and so far Tommy is the best nail tech Ive gad the pleasure to do my nails with! Recommend 10/10!

I got gel nails for the first time yesterday. The guy did a wonderful job. He was very patient with my ignorance of everything, and was so helpful. Nothing hurt at all. The only issue was with the person who tried to help at the front desk. I was trying to talk to her and then was told, she doesnt speak English. Okay, maybe get someone who does speak English to help, lol. Nice place, would definitely come back.

First off my nails came out okay and the customer service was great. The lady who did my nails and eyebrows was very nice. However my eyebrow wax turned out HORRIBLE. My eyebrows are uneven, one is higher than the other and they do not look the same. One brow is very thin while the other brow I like. She didn’t even wipe the wax off of my face. Now I’m stuck with a messed up eyebrow. I’m very upset and the salon should make sure their employees know how to do eyebrow waxing properly before letting them do it.

I had recently moved to the area (Nov 2017) and was looking for a new salon. I was doing laundry next door at COLLEGE LAUNDRY when I decided to give BLUE WATER NAILS & SPA a try. I am VERY glad I did because I wont go ANYWHERE else now. I see Tommy EVERY 2 weeks and if hes not working for WHATEVER reason, I WILL WAIT FOR HIM TO COME BACK! I ABSOLUTELY refuse to let ANYONE else touch my hands/nails! I dont even have to tell Tommy ANYTHING but the # of the polish I want. He KNOWS me and what I want. I thought Id try a new nail place around town and saw this place was highly rated. I dont think it should be. I made an appointment and still waited a bit to actually get in a seat and helped. The pedicure was fine but when I got SNS dip with tips it was a disaster. I couldnt get the color I really wanted because I dont think I was shown the full range of colors. I told them I wanted a color similar to one on the gel selection but they didnt seem to understand me. Then after the nails were done a few hours later I noticed pain in my thumb and realized the dip from the nail became wedged between my skin and thumb nail making it feel like I have an ingrown nail. Also looking closer and feeling the nails some of them have texture and are not completely smooth. Im really dissatisfied

My friend and I went here to see how much it would be for a design she really wanted. We walked in and they immediately said hello. No one came to us, so we figured they were all busy. I sat down waiting while my friend waited standing up. After about 5 minutes my friend sat down. Someone got up to answer the phone, and went back to their client. Two women came in about ten minutes later and the staff greeted them. Right after greeting them they asked how could they help them. One of the women said they had an appt at 6:30. The woman stopped what she was doing to tell the girl to go sit at one of the chairs where there was a guy waiting to help them. The woman replied that she had an appt with a certain person. Still no one acknowledged us. After getting tired of waiting for someone to acknowledge us, we left. I usually do NOT leave bad reviews (even after having a bad experience), but this was just unacceptable to me. I did not mind that they were busy. I just did not appreciate how we sat there waiting for someone to be available to speak with us, and no one did, but they were so willing to help the two people who came in after us. Maybe Ill give them another chance in the future, but right now, I am livid.

Hands down the best nail salon in the area. Everyone is extremely professional and kind. Though they accept walk-in when possible, Id recommend making appointments as they can get busy.

I wanted just a black color on my nails with the dip powder. When she was finished my with nails they had white on them and I told her I didn’t like it and she insisted it was a “marble look” and said look at the powder you can see. I told her I didn’t see anything and I still told her I didn’t like it and she just went to the register and checked me out. Awful experience and will not be coming back. I also have a cut on every finger. I just wanted a simple black color I never asked for anything “marble”. Also, when I got home I had to re file my nails because she didn’t file them the way I waned them. What a waste of my money.UPDATE: I just wanted to update my review since I went back. They offered to redo my nails for free, but I did not want the dip powder again. Therefore, I received a free mani and pedi by Rose and she was great! Thank you guys so much, I will be coming back!

Okay so... I absolutely love this place. Tommy accommodated me this past week where I went to a salon out of state and they didn’t do my nails right where they fell off within 3 days of having them. I felt so embarrassed that I would come not only once but 2 times because of my nails. But I’m thankful for tommy for helping me out and fixing my nails, 2 more of them just popped off so the shop will see me again this week and I hope for the last time until I get my next set 😂 I’m so sorry. Only became because of my sister raving about this place and the many positive reviews posted... however I do not plan on coming back. I went on a Saturday evening as a walk in, I know I went a bit late, about 6:20pm, a bit before they closed. My sister insisted it wouldn’t be a problem, but I ended up regretting it. I understand they can be short staffed, so you do have to wait a while for one of the techs to finish with their client, so heads up if you are used to quickly being attended as a walk in. I had a gentleman, do not remember his name, but I felt he was rough with my manicure and pedicure. I also felt it was rushed, but for that I blame myself for going near closing time. My tech forgot to provide a top coat for my toes and had to do it AFTER my manicure... I was surprised at this and didn’t think this was acceptable, this would never happen at my usual nail place. But I just went with it and he told me to make sure I turned on the bottom ac in my car to help it dry, which I did.I ended up getting a manicure with sns powder and gel on top since he said it would help make my nails stronger. I realized after I left that there was some clear gel on the tips of some fingers... I’ve never had that happen before, and again, it might have been because he was rushing to get it done. I just scraped it off. Also, I’m not used to seeing acrylic nails thrown everywhere on the floor where the nail techs are stationed so it also took me by surprise to see that. Not sure if that’s a normal thing to see at other salons but at my usual one I haven’t seen it. Idk. Overall, it was ok. They were nice, the place is small and cozy, and they had plenty of colors to choose from. Maybe it would’ve been different if I made an early appointment but I will just stick to my usual place.
