I have an appointment with Amy, and the service was beyond excellent! Amy is so sweet, polite, and knowledgeable. The nail area is private and relax. I truly love the way that she done my mani/pedi. Im going to start to be a regular customer! I highly recommend this amazing place!❤😍🥰

We did the Turkish bath as a couple and a couples massage. Truly amazing I also did the facial, shampoo and blow dry package. The whole package was definitely with the price. We enjoyed it so much. It was like going on a vacation without the exhaustion and chore of unpacking. Great experience we can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!

The Turkish bath is an experience all by itself My mother has treated me to this a few times she on the other hand is a frequent goer my daughter just turned 19 and so I treated her to this experience as well!! Make sure you ask for Mrs Dianne she is amazing!!! If you have questions about what this is I would say just book it treat yourself cause Corona has been rough for everyone but a service like this makes u feel clean clean and clean!!!

I am so happy to report there is new management/ownership at Shala salon. Today was the first time I ever walked into the salon and it was so inviting and friendly. Everyone looked happy. Best place in town. Love getting my hair blow out here plus my nails and a massage all in one. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. Got a bad hair cut else where and Shala was able to fix it. Wow! Amazing! Had the couples Turkish bath followed by couples massages. We were taken care of, like we were Royals. The staff and the treatment of was wonderful. Beautifully decorated Turkish bathing area. They used modern tools and equipment to bathe you and take care of your skin. None of that beating you up with a broom... I highly recommend the Turkish bath and massage combo incredibly relaxing if you just want to sail away from your body into blissful joy and relaxation! I will be back!!!!

I had an amazing experience at the salon. Turkish bath was a haven! Homa was great, very caring and professional. You could tell she loves what she does! What a horrible first impression. I had an appt today for couples massage and until this morning I was going to go but I woke up with a stomach flu and I called them and she had the nerve to tell me “I text you yesterday it would of been nice for u to cancel then?” With an attitude.....Explain to me how I woke up with a stomach virus TODAY would of been me having it yesterday? ....I will never book there and I will make sure I let people know.

My wife and I had a couples massage today at Shala Salon Spa & Turkish Bath. From start to finish, it was amazing. To start off with, we had to reschedule twice and each time, the staff worked with us to find a time that worked. When we arrived, 20 minutes early, they had a relaxing waiting area with water and tea to ease you into the the experience. Our therapists, Kenya & Diana, were great. They asked us what areas we wanted to have focused on and made sure to hit those areas throughly. Afterwards, we were not rushed out but rather allowed to rest, have more water and tea until we were ready to leave. Great experience!

Sandy does the best job!! After searching for a hair stylist, I am so glad someone recommended Sandy. I drive from Waterford Lakes to get my color, cut, and keratin from Sandy. I have never liked my hair and now I love it! I get compliments on it all the time. The salon is beautiful and very relaxing.

I am new to the area and was weary of going to a new salon after having had a bad experience at another salon. The front desk was very inviting and personable. I was seen within a 5 minute wait. Alex listened to my story and what I wanted my hair to look like, and we worked together choosing colors then he went to work to correct the previous hack job and my mess-up trying to fix it myself at home. 2 1/2 hours later (way shorter time than I expected!) he made my hair look AMAZING!I am sooo glad I came here, Phenomenal experience!!!! Love this salon! I went yesterday for my first time and they took me right away as a walk in and got my hair done as fast as possible since I told them I had to be somewhere at 1:30. Amazing hair stylists and friendly staff.. really made me feel at home!! I have been a customer here for years ever since shala opened the store. Ever since then when shala sold the spa to new owners the service,quality,and appreciation inst there anymore unfortunately due to rude old employees due to the owner change, not only that but they will sit there and lie to you about prices that way when you get done with your haircut you have no choice but to pay there price with there so called markups. Moral of the story everyone needs to pick up there act in there because they lost me as a customer and many more . wish we could have the old shala back . she was the best and knew how to treat customers with honesty and politeness The only other employee that still works there and is still amazing is VICTORIA and MIA .they are the most amazing and nicest people there and are probably the only reason why this salon still has a few old customers . Victoria and mia are very professional and amazing . so if you ever do decide to go there, ask for victoria or for mia.

The Ladies here go above and beyond with their services. They make you feel like a queen and most importantly comfortable. This place is the definition of what a spa is, to feel relax and be surrounded by such a great atmosphere.

Never again. The older lady there, I assume shes in charge made me feel very uncomfortable. She asked, if I was able to afford her services. Even when she washed and flat ironed my hair, she never covered me with a hairdressing gown. Her employees, customers, and friends complimented me and were very nice. Unfortunately, she was not. Then all of a sudden when everyone is being friendly/nice, she wants to be nice and talk to me about her high end African American clients; as if I would come back after the service I received. Never again! Too disrespectful for me! One star, because my hair was done well for Valentines Day.

When it comes to color and style, Hakeem is the person for the job. He listens to everything you ask, but more importantly he knows what looks best on you. Hes very up-to-date with the current styles and will keep you looking trendy -- if thats what you are going for. I trust him with my hair. He does everything he can to make you happy.

Shala has been doing my hair for over ten years, and she does an amazing job. She really listens to what her clients are looking for and creates a gorgeous hairstyle for them. The Turkish bath is a must, its worth every penny! the lady who does it truly loves her job I have known Shala almost 20 years now and shes an amazing individual who loves her clients and her job. Based on excellent reviews, I decided on Shala Salon & Spa.When I called for an appointment, the receptionist asked several questions about my hair type (thick, frizzy, difficult to manage) and booked me with Shala. My hair hadnt been cut in months--and was a train wreck.Shala was very nice and welcoming. She gave me a tour of the salon and spa and even offered recommendations about living in Orlando (knowing Id just moved).She made my virtually uncontrollable hair look AMAZING! Best of all--she recommended hair products and styling suggestions so I was able to almost replicate the sleek, straight style at home myself!! I hadnt worn my super big hair down in months--but now, am able to wear it down every day. Seriously, I havent loved my hair this much in a loooong time! Me and my girlfriend came for a spa day to enjoy and relax!First thing that was weird for me is that nobody wears uniform, witch is a must in a place like yours!The masseuse was too communicative, she was bothering me with too many questions!I have few moles on my back and could feel her scratching them a lot, I was in pain for few days after, she should know that you have to be gentle with this kind of things!This was very unprofessional and unacceptable!Will never use your service again!

My fiancee visited Shala Salon after being recommended by her family who has been going to Shala for 3 generations worth of family hair. She had a hard time finding someone who can style and cut her hair correctly and give her a modern, sexy look and not take 2hrs+. Because she has curly Puerto Rican hair other salons have not been able to give nice results. After she came out of Shala Salon I have never seen her happier to have her hair styled so beautifully and sexy. Shala did not take long at all and she is an artist with scissors and a blow-dryer! Shalas salon is amazing and the best salon experience I have had. Their service is inviting and professional and when Shala did my hair I could tell she was an expert. I personally am very picky when people cut and style my hair since it is naturally curly. Shala understood and has the expertise to know how to get the best results with my hair type. On top of that she was quick and timely. Personally, I will not go to any other salon because I trust Shala salon is not only up-to-date on new styles, dos, and techniques; but, also is the top salon I have ever visited.

Not sure of how services are but they are very unprofessional. My daughter applied for a receptionist/assistant position and drove 10 miles for scheduled interview only to be told position was filled day before, owner not here, owner was in the back. Not sure if seeing her in person she did not fit the look for Salon or what. hmmm

I’m visiting Florida and really wanted something different for my vacation, after a lot of research and reading reviews.... I chose Shala salon. I’m so happy that I did. Huma colored my hair and she did an amazing job. Although she advised that my hair may not look exactly like the picture I showed her, it actually did and even better.The owner, Süheyla is so awesome. I wish I lived in Florida so I could visit them more often. OMG and the salon itself was immaculate, even the restroom was beautiful. The Turkish spa is spot on and worth visiting.Great salon!!!!

When I moved here a year ago I went to a salon that was recommended and was very disappointed. I was then referred to Shala and she was awesome, I finally have the hair color and texture I have been trying to get. She is always there too, call me anytime.

Very disrespectful woman! Wanted to do a keratin treatment. On the phone she asked me my hair length and my thickness of the hair. She told me that it would $100-150. When I came to the parlour, she said it would be $300, I was pretty shocked but then she offered me complimentary haircut. I felt a bit better. The keratin lady Huma washed my hair and I asked her to give me a haircut and she said she will do it after keratin. Half way through, she asks me what kind of haircut do I want, I said I wanted layers. She said she can’t do it since it would look bad with keratin. I was really upset off at that point but tried to hold off my temper. Later the receptionist asked her to do a cut for me and she said I need to come after 3-4 days. I was so annoyed at that point and I told her that you guys are very unprofessional. Huma started screaming at me and accused me that I wanted to get a free keratin that’s why I am making a big fuss. At that point I and asked her to stop my treatment. I felt insulted and humiliated to be treated like that. Very disrespectful person. I would not go back to that place!! No matter how good you are, respect should never be compromised!

Gabriel was amazing! I used to just get cheap haircuts, but this experience showed me you truly get what you pay for. Go to Gabriel for mens cuts. Note: I paid with credit, but this salon only takes tips in cash, so come prepared.

Shala cut and colored my hair for the first time and Ill be going back. The cut was good but what she does better than my previous stylist is color and highlights. Ive been grey for more years than I care to say, and Shalas color and highlights are so natural looking that you can barely tell it isnt my hair. The highlights are spare and fine, rather than the chunky, oppressive highlights you sometimes see.

Shala, the owner does my hair and her service is outstanding! She is very professional stylist!!! She does an amazing job with my blonde hair. She knows how to change my natural dark brown hair roots to blonde without any damages so It always looks healthy and has gorgeous platinum shade. I am really impressed with her attention! My husband and I have been to the Turkish Hammam multiple times and WOW. The Hammam is beautiful and so relaxing. We have had the two same ladies each time and they are great. For those who havent been it is a relaxing spa treatment in a beautiful tile room with steam and water. After that you get a great massage/scrub treatment. I highly recommend it. Great for couples!

Friendly staff and great service. The only thing is that without an appointment its hard to get seated since they are usually booked all day. The only reason they dont have a 5 star review are those fake ratings below which is sad cause this is an extraordinary salon. My and Gabriel are both great stylist.

The massage I received was not bad. The massage therapist talked a lot during the massage though.I received the worst manicure of my life while I was here. For a $25 SPA Manicure, I was expecting more than an 15 minute bare bones manicure. My nails were filed and buffed, and cuticles were poorly trimmed. Then I got a little bit of oil rubbed on my hands and my nails painted. The manicurist (Mona) used a drill on my cuticles, which tore the skin up. She also kept looking at her cell phone ( to check the time, I am assuming). I told her I wanted a light pink color. She chose a very sheer pink color. When I told her I did not like the color, she said I couldnt change it because she had another client coming in. 2 days later....My cuticles are a mess and the light sheer pink polish is chipping off.I can pay $10 and get a nice 30-40 minute manicure in my home town (in South Florida). Very disappointed.

I was looking around for a good place to get hair extensions. I searched every where online until I found this place. My last salon around the corner ruined my hair by using strong chemicals. My hair broke in half!!!! Nima, owners son, was recommended to me and I have been going to him for extension for close to a year now. He is truly talented and only does hair extension! If you are looking to get hair amazing extensions I recommend this place.

I went in to celebrate my birthday with a turkish bath and left with a gash in my leg that now requires antibiotics as they literally rubbed my skin off. I had never gone before so I did not know what to expect. I felt discomfort but not pain until my skin wouldnt stop burning when I left. Definitely make sure that this does not happen to you. I gave it 3 stars because its a cool idea and my husband loved it, but due to my sensitivity its probably not ideal for me. The salon did reach out to make sure I was ok and remedy the situation which was very kind as well.

So I am not one to write reviews on places unless the service is terrible or in this case AMAZING! To preface this, this was not service done to my hair but my wife. She had gone to another salon in Orlando and had her hair done, twice actually as the first time through did not turn out well or look good and they had to fix it.Well we where happy with it at the first salon originally(which I will not name), but when it came to my wife needing to take some color out due to her job, we tried to go back to salon A to get this done. Unfortunately, or in this case fortunately, they where unable to get my wife in so we scrambled to find another salon.With full disclosure I hate going with my wife to get her hair done. It takes hours on end and there is only so many magazines you can read in a waiting room before your ready to go crazy. So I found a salon with good reviews that was in very close proximity to the Corona Cigar Co... like literally three doors down. So gentleman keep that in mind when getting hair appointments for your wife and you get to tag along. With that tidbit aside, I am very glad that my wife called Shala.First off she was able to get her in at 10:00am on a Sunday. That may not seem like a huge deal, but when you take into account that was Shalas day off and she came in to do a few select clients hair including my wife who was a new client, that says A LOT about her and how amazing she is!After a quick consultation, my wife told her what had happened at the other salon and how she originally wanted her hair but that they where not able to do so, so she had to settle. When we had gone into Salon A my wife had shown them pictures of exactly how she wanted her hair. After they began coloring her hair, they informed her that it was going to take 3 appointments to be able to get her hair how she wanted it and that she should just go with a different color all together.Well Shala informed her that they where trying to scam her and that it wouldnt have taken more then 1 appointment to have achieved the results she was looking for. At that point, I was not happy to hear this as I had spent over $500 at another salon on hair service and product that was now useless for a hair color my wife really didnt want in the first place. She then proved this to us by starting a few test areas on my wifes hair to start stripping the color.5ish hours later ( which I am not complaining to much as I was able to sit and have a cigar and drink at Corona Cigar Co) my wifes hair looked night and day different and not in a bad way. The color was stripped out and for the most part back to her natural hair color. It looked amazing! Well as most hair goes, my wife woke up the next morning and noticed that it wasnt as highlighted as she had wanted it to be, so she picked up the phone and called the salon. Not only did Shala personally talk with her on the phone, she told her to come in now to get it done. Well my wife was not able to, but was able to get an appointment at 9:00am the following morning.The staff is polite and helpful, the facilities are amazing and very inviting and Shala is a true master of her craft and really does care about her clients! Disregard any of the negative reviews and give this place a shot as you will not regret it! And for any husbands and boyfriends still reading this... remember there is a cigar shop next door and your wife can not yell at your for smelling like a cigar if you just got her hair done Shala, just saying.....Update: just got done with the appointment and it looks great!!!

You honestly have not lived until you have tried the Turkish Bath. Its one of the most heavenly and relaxing things you will ever experience. Its really authentic also.

This was the worst waxing experience I could have ever asked for. The fact that I actually paid for this service is a shame. I went in for a Brazilian wax, and came away with a half bikini wax that was patchy and horribly done. The woman who did the waxing clearly did not know what she was doing, the waxing room was not clean, and there was double dipping. She used soft wax and strips, and since she did not apply it evenly or pull in the right direction, she had to wax the same place over and over until she got all the hair, which made for an incredibly painful experience. I needed the wax in the hurry, and wish I had gone to store and bought strips to do it myself. She missed spots and did not even begin to address the bottom half, which is supposed to be part of a Brazilian. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and clearly the multitude of 5 star reviews are fake. I now have to find another place to fix her mess, or figure out how to finish it myself. Awful. Just awful.

I have curly brown hair and usually when I color my hair my curls always gets ruined and damaged leaving my hair frizzy but when Shala dyed my hair blonde and added some of the products she wears by to my hair and it left my newly hair feeling healthy and frizz free!! Awesome Salon!!!

Shala Salon has by far been the best experience I have had in a salon during my 30+ years as a Central Florida resident. I live in Osceola County and drive about 45 minutes to Shalas because the salon experience and service is worth driving a few hours if I had to! I regularly get hair, lash, and facial services at Shalas and never have the services been anything less than terrific. If you are visiting Central Florida and can get in the appointment book at Shalas, do it! Linda does lash extensions and though I have tried several others at the beginning, no one can come close to the quality job Linda does. Diana is an extraordinary masseuse. In my experience, she was always quiet and only engaged in conversation during the massage if I encouraged it. The hair stylists are incredible and all pride themselves on providing services that Wow their customers. The salon is a great for women and men alike as both my husband, my mother, and my daughter all frequent this elegant salon.

This has to have been the worst spa experience I have ever had and would not recommend it to anyone. I went in to get my eyebrows done because my regular aesthetician was on vacation. The man who threaded my eyebrows smelled HEAVILY of smoke and all I wanted to do was cough. My eyebrows came out okay, but nothing to write home about. Then I purchased a skincare product from the salon that, as it turns out, burned my eyes terribly. When I brought the product in less than a week later and explained the problem, the owner ignored me for 25 minutes and let me sit in the front of the store. I had to ask several times to speak with her, and when she finally did come out she was very rude and unwilling to help in any way. I can understand if I had been a beligerent customer, and had shouted or been in any way rude, but I was none of those things. And still the owner ignored me and was exceedingly rude when she finally did come to take care of me. I would never go back, nor would I recommend this location to a friend. If youre looking for someone to do your eyebrows, you can try Cut and Color Room next door or even Image Nails by Whole Foods. Both provide exemplary customer service, especially in comparison to Shalas.

Dont go to that salon they never tell you the truth over the phone every time I have called they told me different thing I have called them for price of Turkish bath 3 times to make sure they gave me the right price I had people where coming from out of town and already made an app for 5 people so when I called 2 days before our app to ask if we still in same page they changed the price on us and I even talk to the owner she was worse on the phone then the front desk girl I dont recommend Shahla salon to any body
