This location is currently going through renovations. Im sure it will be much nicer once the renovations are complete. Would have given a higher rating, had coffee been available the morning I checked out. Room furniture and decor felt dated, so new, modern decor would give a better overall feel . 10th floor hallway was really hot so I assume the air conditioning wasnt working. Not to bad as the room AC was working. Great water pressure, no complaints there. Consider working on the noise pollution from within. The adjacent room walls have no sound insulation. Nice pool area, my compliments. Great location if your going to Universal. Overall, I had an ok experience at this location.

What a joke this place is. I had to ask the guy to come out and inspect the car. His response was so you are going to make me work today. Then I asked for and email confirmation I did not receive it until 2 days later with an fuel charge $74.08 (car was returned full)customer facility charge $16city charge $2.75total of $84.08 for nothing.I booked through orbitz and was told that there will be no additional charges. Now on the phone trying to get my money back. Worst experience ever. I think next time I will pay a few bucks more and not have to deal with this situation.

The staff was so courteous and efficient and I got exactly what I paid for at a great price. Made for the perfect start to a great weekend. They were so fast I was honestly shocked. I will definitely rent here again.

Staff was AWESOME!!! They helped me so much with renting my car and extending the rentals out. Picking up the car was fairly fast and dropping it off was a breeze! Will definitely return!

It always takes 30min or more from the time I submit my credit card and i.d. until the time they bring my vehicle around for me to take possession.

Have to say Mark and his coworker really took care of me after having 2 terrible experiences with other rental agencies that day. First had a reservation with Hertz at Portofino and I show up and they dont have a car for me but want to up sell me. Second try is Sixt in Lake Bueno Vista and nobody would answer the phone, even theyre corporate office couldnt get a hold of the location. So I went to Payless and Mark really saved the day!! He beat the 2 previous quotes by 130$ for the week! Amazing customer service!! Mark is the man, thanks guys for taking such great care of me and my family!!

Posting this under my fiancés account but had to write about the positive experience I had with Payless at the Orlando Intl Airport. I rented a full size car for a week at an unbeatable rate with a $200 deposit hold on my credit card. The girl at the Payless rental desk inside the airport was friendly-ish. She smiled but moved extremely slowly creating a long line. She also tried to tack on collision coverage at $14/day and not tell me about the cost. But this is where common sense comes in people! If you have insurance, call them before hand to ensure your coverage will transfer. Then, carefully review the contract youre about to sign when picking up your rental and question anything that seems off. The actual rental cars are kind of...meh. Lots of damage on most of them and I was switched between a few cars before I got one that was in good enough condition to take. Again, common sense. Take photos of ANY damage and report it to the gate attendant before you pull out. Im mostly writing this review to give high praise to the two garage attendants who helped me. First was Ramon when I was leaving with the car. He walked the whole garage with me to find a rental that was available and in decent condition. He was courteous, kind and super friendly. He made the first half of my experience a breeze and I truly believe he deserves recognition for how accommodating and KIND he was! The other attendant who helped me was just as kind, and made me feel like a valued customer. His name was Orville and he was there when I returned my rental. Seriously some of the nicest people Ive had the pleasure of dealing with at a rental agency (and Ive used too many rentals to count). Orville was super busy but still took the time to ask about my trip and ensure everything was good with the car. Payless isnt as bad as all these people have said. As long as you have some common sense youll be fine. And if you get the help of Ramon or Orville, youll be even better. PAYLESS PLEASE SHOWS THESE TWO GUYS SOME APPRECIATION!!! They were truly top notch. THANK YOU RAMON AND ORVILLE!!!P.S- the $200 security deposit was released immediately upon return of the car and I got a printed receipt from Orville showing my total (which was exactly what it was supposed to be) per my online booking.

Terrible customer service, charged for pre-existing scratches, very rude to customers, i wonder how they are still in business they should be reported to consumer affairs for cheating with people, next time i swear i will rent a car and mess them up...... thats how upset i am.

Worse place to rent a car. They told me I owe them after they with drawn from my account 3 times. Didnt see first transaction payment being pulled. I ask for an extension, they with drawn 160.00, off my account, and charges me 11.00 dollars late charge, knowing I wasnt late when I ask for extension for the second time on that date I supposedly return the car. Having me owe my bank over drawn fees, trying to have me pay those fees

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. One of the worst rental car services Ive ever used. Beware of the customer service from this place as well. The staff is extremely rude and hostile. The customer is never right here and makes you feel very unimportant. I rather walk or take a cab (no offense to taxi drivers).

I have had bad experiences renting cars but with Payless at the Miami airport I was very good with excellent service. Tomorrow I am going to this 5905 Payless office to pick up a vehicle hoping that the service will be equal to or better than Payless from the Miami airport. And I will tell you how my experience was. In the other comment I will leave my email so that fellow travelers can be in contact and be able to orient ourselves and give us advice on the best options to rent vehicles in the USA. Greetings
