Chose Hertz due to its name and reputation. Arrived for an 8:30 pick up time. Counter was closed. Another customer had an 8:00 pickup and was talking to hotel staff who was trying to get a hold of the clerk who was supposed to be there. Eventually got through to someone who said there were no cars available at this site and that they would try and get cars transferred here from the airport which was going to be at least 45 minutes. When I asked what Hertz would do for our inconvenience if we waited was told that they were just trying to get the cars transferred. When I asked three more times was finally told they might be able to give me a 15% discount. We left. Went to the Sixt counter next door and was given a car instantly with wonderful customer service!!
I walked in one morning and asked for a car. 15 minutes later I was driving on my merry way. The whole process was smooth, quick, and easy. Had some issues with the e-toll thing in the car not working but aside from that, it all went as expected. $65 for a mid-sized car for 24 hours. The car (Chevy Impala) was in good condition with low miles. It was clean and well looked after.
Over the top customer service from KEVIN. He turned around a horrible situation and got us out the door in record time. THANK YOU KEVIN!!!! (He definitely needs a raise x 2!!)

Appointment at 9h00. No one at the front Desk. We called 2 times, waiting for someone to meet up. 9h30, still no one. Were still here, loosing our time on our schedule.
