Alamo rental car at Orlando Florida Airport had the most wonderful customer service.The lady I spoke with on the phone was super polite and listened to my concerns and promptly resolved my issue.She went above and beyond as I was compensated for my inconvenience.What happened was I had a different card than I had when I made the car reservation due to the card getting lost.So at the counter I had to cancel the reservation and make a reservation with the card I had in hand.When I was refunded for that prior reservation I saw on my account that the amount was $100 less than I had paid. When I called they said it was the cancellation fee, but upon their understanding that the situation of me not having the card was not my fault, I was refunded $120 for my inconvenience.I was very happy with this resolution, and very much appreciated this customer service.Thank you Alamo, I shall be using you in the future!!

I’ve used Alamo for years now, however on our most recent vacation we decided to try budget out since it made more economical sense. This was the biggest mistake I’ve made in my life, we waited hours in line, we received a dirty and scratched up car, and when we returned the car, we had to wait in another crazy long line! You no the saying you never know what you have until it’s gone? Well that certainly applies here, Alamo makes it crazy easy to rent a car, you don’t even have to talk to anyone, you can just use a kiosk! Alamo is absolutely no hassle, it’s the Southwest of car rentals, and we’ll definitely use them next time!

Booked and paid online for a month long rental in advance for my girlfriends trip. She arrived at the airport only to be told she cant use my card even though it was all done online ahead of time. Luckily she was instead able to pay out of pocket but easily could have been screwed. No requirement notice of any kind at time of payment. Will never use again

It was a good deal, I got a Toyota Corolla. I suggest before leaving check the car, mine was smelling bad, so I had to open all the windows.

I went on vacation with my girlfriend and her family, we had a reservation with a company called ace and they would not answer their phones and after about an hour of waiting they said they were closed and we talked to people at the airport and they said they were open and just not answering, so we heard Alamo had great service and fast service and that’s exactly what we found out they are an awesome company and worked hard to get us in a car quick and at a similar price it was great to see customer service reps actually care about the customers they are serving 10/10 would recommend for us in a car in minutes!

Had a terrible experience with FOX, they left us stranded outside the Orlando airport for an hour and we couldn’t get ahold of anyone. So we went inside, and Landon was absolutely fantastic and helped us quickly get into a car and headed on the road! Super clean car and very impressed with Landon’s compassion and professionalism. This was the best car rental experience I have ever had! Check in was super fast and simple! And Ervin was amazing! Then when we reached the lot, the attendant showed us to our SUV and told us to pick whatever we wanted! I would give them an extra star if possible!

Took an afternoon flight to Orlando. By the time we arrived at Alamo, there was a 2 hour wait to get to the counter and complete paper work. I would assume we all had reservations, so why did Alamo only have 2 agents working the counter??!!As we left the counter, the line still extended to the door.I booked through Southwest Airlines, and dont believe we got any bargains. Next year, Ill go to the Alamo app and wont travel during the holidays!!We did get a car. A Corolla sedan. Clean. Aligned. No mechanical problems.

I really liked skip the counter option, especially when I saw the big line at Dollar rental. Just walked to parking and got the car. I got a free upgrade and the option to choose any car I want from a row of cars with multiple brands full size sedans, pick up truck and minivan. Check out was as easy, just park the car and go. Car was immaculate clean. A very pleasant experience. Thank you.

No complaints here - easy car rental process. We got a great little sea green colored 2021 SUV RAV 4. We enjoyed running it around the island during our 1st week of vacation. We even took it up through Florida on the 2nd week. Dropped it off at the Orlando airport with no extra charge!

They didnt clean the care after the last person. Still had half eaten slimjim and used chapstick lip balm.

This place lacks in many ways. Our 10 day rental had problems on day 2. The check engine light came on and I called to get it swapped out. The wanted me to drive all the way back to the airport via the toll roads to swap it out. They could not arrange a swap where they brought it to me. Then they came up with a swap at a location at Disney. Went to swap it out there and they wanted to give me a pickup instead of a 4 door car with a trunk. They could not even find the key for that. Dont rent anything from them. They dont maintain their fleet and cant help to swap it out with a similar vehicle.So, one of the managers of this location calls me and leaves me a voicemail to call him back. I called back to no answer, I tried texting him, I emailed him and no response.Finally got a text back and I went by to switch out the car at the airport when I had time and got a car that had no issues.Manager had offered to credit me back, but ended up giving me a coupon that is only good for 4 months. Just ridiculous. Im not going back to Alamo at all.

I will not rent a car from Alamo again. I reserved a full size car and when we got to the airport and completed the paperwork, we were told to go outside and someone would show us cars. We found the Alamo section and two people yelled over to go to the full size section and grab a car, keys were in them. There were no cars in the full size section. We found someone after walking through the car sections and told them we reserved a full size car. She gave us a car someone just drove up in and said here take this. It was a Jeep Compass. This was definitely not a full size car. We could barely fit 3 in the back and it was very tight. We paid almost $600 for this. I called to complain and they said it is full size but we could maybe go back to the airport and replace it but due to our schedule and being an hour from the airport that would not work so we were stuck with it. I would choose a different company.

Very rude customer service when picking up car in parking garage area. Almost had to get police involved due to hostile and aggressive male employee.Rented us the vehicle as if it were a favor. Spend your money somewhere else where it is truly appreciated.

My experience with Alamo was absolutely amazing I recommend this company 100% just pay the extra money compared to the other companies but it is worth it I was standing in line for no more than 10 minutes. They give you the option to choose which vehicle you want & you pick your own car seats out for your little ones. I will recommend this company to all my friends & family that will travel to Orlando. The drop off was just as quick & easy as the pick up you just follow the directions to where the car needs to get dropped off you leave the key in the car & you are on your way !

I had originally booked with Dollar because of pricing. However, upon reading their review I ended up canceling and getting a refund. Booked with Alamo and did everything online I did not have to speak with anyone at the airport went straight to pick up the car I wanted from the garage and left to get checked out. This process is amazing and will definitely book with Alamo again. I know its more pricey but trust me it pays off on how easy it is to get a car and you pick the car you want.

Pay the extra few dollars and book with Alamo! Rented a mini van for 4 days in Orlando for our family of 7. Alamos price was a little more expensive than Budget and Avis but worth it. They include unlimited miles and spouses drive free - which other companies charge extra for. I had booked with Alamo in the past and always enjoyed their business model of being able to pick out your car from a whole row instead of other rental companies who assign you a specific vehicle. Plus thier service is always quick and friendly. Never have run into a billing issue. I joined their rewards program and got 5% off my rental plus was able to skip the line at the desk and go right outside to the lot and choose the vehicle. Skipping the line was great because all of the rental car desks were completely packed when we landed. Im returning back to Orlando in a few months and plan on booking my car through Alamo again!

Excellent experience with Alamo in Orlando! The lines at some of the cheaper options were very long and not moving very fast when we arrived. No line at all with Alamo thanks to being properly staffed. Within 5 minutes we were outside picking out our vehicle. The SUV we picked had less than 3,000 miles on it and it was fully loaded. Dropping off the vehicle was just as easy and convenient. It really could not have been a better experience - Ill definitely use them again in the future!

Oh, Alamo.Ive never rented a car before in my life, and I hope that every experience I have again with renting a car is like the one I just recently had with Alamo.While looking for rental cars online, I was getting a bit stressed with the bad reviews for the other places and how some people had to wait 3 hours in line for the car. Then we clicked on Alamo. The reviews seemed great and its easy to see why. Fast, simple, and easy. Just how I believe it should be. With Alamo, we got to the airport after arrival, and went to the car rental section. Easy to find the Alamo booth. The line wasnt too long, there were about 8 people in line, but Alamo also has these screens set up so we can just pick up the car we reserved online ourselves. On the screen we paid for the rental and added the $55 fuel option, (meaning you will not need to refuel the car yourself for when you drop it off). Printed out in the receipt were directions to getting to the parking lot to pick up the car, not too far of a walk, like 5 minutes max. It was a bit confusing, however, as there wasnt really a sign saying pick up cars here, unless I was looking at the wrong place, (I probably was). Again, the pick up location was not too far, literally just crossing a street. The process was simple in the car lot. Theres a whole line of cars, each of the type of car that you can rent, i.e. sports cars, minivans, SUVs, Sedans. We rented a minivan and the choices were rather new cars, Dodge Caravans and Chrysler Voyagers, (we rented out a minivan). The fun part about it is that you can pick whichever car you like. You can start the car, as the keys are inside of the cars, and choose which model, color, trim, from all of the plenty of choices there, and can also start the car to see the mileage of each car and rest of the speedometer, if you want to do that. Every car that I saw had leather seats and were modern 2020 and up models. We chose a silver Dodge Caravan and put our items inside. Basically you just choose your car, hop in and go, since keys are already inside. However, I accidentally locked the car with the keys and items still inside, but once we asked for help, it wasnt more than 5 minutes that someone, (who spoke Spanish as well since we spoke Spanish), helped us out and unlocked the car in less than a minute, they even backed it up for us since it was in a kind of tight parking spot. The car was already cleaned and tank was full. The car was reliable and the built in GPS was also pretty good, everything worked perfectly, with no complaints, for the entirety of our vacation. When we went to return it, we just followed the car rental signs to the Alamo lot, and just parked it where the worker told us to, and just dropped off the car and went to our terminal, (elevators to the Terminals are literally right in front of the lot). There werent any buts or extra fees we had to pay for the rental, that werent on the invoice already, and the people who work there are pretty helpful, nice, and honest as well. I would definitely recommend Alamo to anyone, and would use their car rental service again. Thank you for such a smooth experience.

We use Alamo exclusively for rental cars booking through Costco. Always an easy task using the kiosks at the counter. They make the whole process easy and are almost always the least expensive.

I was super pleased with my experience renting, it was really neat that I got to pick my SUV instead of being assigned one like Thrifty. I ended up with a 2021 Toyota Rav4 and it was compatible with Android auto, meaning that I could use my phone as a GPS and control my music on the screen, which was absolutely perfect for all the hour long drives to and from Orlando that Id be doing. The line to check in at the desk was also really quick, and staff was super helpful! Will definitely be renting from them again.

Great and speedy service at counter, given i had made a reservation prior to arrival, but not much of a line compared to others who seem to be struggling with their clientele. Selection on cars is great, rented a pick up for 1week, choose a 2020 Silverado since it would fit all 7 of us, recommend it and will definitely rent from them again if available for my next travel

I rented a nice Dodge Caravan to go to Disney in. They were affordable and the van was fully loaded and nice.

Came in clutch when Thrifty decided give us a hard time, rental prices were affordable and cars had no problem.

The car rental process was pretty smooth and I was initially happy with the experience. However a week later I received a mysterious email from Damage Recovery Unit of damage to the vehicle. Then a few weeks later another email came saying I was responsible for the damages for over $1300. Thankfully I had taken a picture of the dent in question from the start of my rental, and I didn’t end up having to pay for it. It bothers me though to have the stress of possibly having to pay for repairing damage that I didn’t cause. If they had properly checked the vehicle after the last rental and before my rental, as they claim to do, they would have known the dent was already there. Even when I was cleared of the damage, they didn’t really apologize or acknowledge the fact that it was their error; instead the email just said they “made the decision” to take care of the damages.

At pick up, car was not as clean as it was supposed to be, specially in this covid times. Seems like they receive the cars and they are immediately out for the next person to grab. Returning the car in Orlando was easy and fast.

Alamo was amazing! We arrived at MCO very late, with 3 small kids in tow, after our flight & many others were delayed due to weather. The airport was a madhouse & the lines for other rental companies were insanely long. Alamo had plenty of people on staff & an attendant even came around & suggested that my husband stay in line while I tried the kiosk. I told her we wanted to use the desk because I had some questions and she answered them all right there.Our vehicle was new, immaculate & fully loaded! We never thought we would love a minivan so much. Drop off was a breeze too. We paid more, but could not have been happier with our car & experience, totally worth the extra expense. We are Alamo customers for life!

I did a lot of research on which car rental in Orlando to rent from. I read a lot of reviews. There were horror storys of having to wait in line at the cheaper rental places. I almost took the chance with them but after a long day, I did not want to chance it and have to wait in line. I am so happy that I chose Alamo. Once I found the counter, there were kiosks where I did everything I needed, took less than 5 minutes and we were walking outside to get our car. There was no line for the agents if you needed to speak to them. I looked down the hall at the other car rental places and the lines were so so so long.Once we took the short walk outside to the parking garage, the very nice gentleman gave us a choice of 3 different vehicles.The vehicle we chose was very clean and smelt great.Return of the vehicle was simple, just follow the signs, pull up, they check the car and give you a receipt. It was a great experience.

I’m giving this place a 4 star due to the turnaround towards the end of our initial services. When picking up our car for our vacation from the MCO, there was issues with the first car (fly back trunk that kept hitting the back of the window and broken windshield wipers). The car was taken back to avoid any more damages to the car or possible shattered back window. When the car was taken back, we were informed that this car was reported due to issues with the trunk so wasn’t sure why they would still have it available for rent until the situation has been fixed. The next car we had, one of the guys called himself “checking” the car and reporting no issues. Well, unfortunately, he did a horrible job because there were issues with the tire pressure. So we reported that car and there was another guy who called himself trying to release air from it to even it out. No thank you....please give us a new car. By the fourth car, we were exhausted with switching our luggages, the walk, etc. The very last customer service guy (I wish I asked for his name because he was AWESOME) felt so bad with all we’ve been through, he assisted with bringing the luggages to an upgraded car that treated us well with no issue throughout the duration of our vacation. The 4 Star goes to the guy who assisted us and upgraded us to a car. Thanks so much for your help. If this guy didn’t come with his cape on to rescue us from such a disaster, there would have been NO STARS and a much worse rating.

Arrived at MCO on Friday during Memorial day weekend. When I walked into the counter, I saw a long line at Avis counter next to Alamo, which looked like hours long wait. There was almost no line at Alamo and got a car instantly. The car was in good condition and our family had a good time in Orlando. Probably it was not a cheapest price at MCO but Im glad I chose Alamo.

VERY easy to rent a vehicle on our family trip! This location allows you to choose your own vehicle on your class size & simply drive!The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it could have been clesned better prior to rental! But all around I was satisfied!

We rented a car here yesterday 5/17/21, worst experience of my life. They have their normal rental area closed down so after walking to parking A, we had to walk another 15 mins to parking B only to get sent back to the terminal to get the keys. I told the lady at the counter they need to have better signage or a person directing people from walking around trying to find their temporary location and she was rude. Manager was rude, will never rent from Alamo again.

Honestly 2 hour and 15 minutes wait to check in at 1030 in a Monday. By time we left the line looked to be over 3 hours. Aggressive with upsells at one point specifically said they can gas auto for you when return and it is about the same rate as the gas station. Well $2.79 station. $9.95 from Dollar. Understand the useful try but over 2 hours in line is tp much.

Check in at the kiosk was so easy & fast. Didnt have to wait in a line to pick up our car & I loved we got to pick out our car we wanted & hop right in. I was worried we would have long lines since it was on Easter & alot of people seemed to be travelling. I will definitely rent with Alamo next time Im in Orlando.

Horrible experience. To begin the car was parked horribly at pickup and required us to back it up to get the kids in. Next the employees were rude and when we went to leave the parking garage we made a turn that was not labeled very well and the employees made sure to honk excessively and laugh at us (not customer service minded). The car had plastic that was melted and was in rough shape. Tires need to be replaced and did not handle the Florida rain. Overall do not recommend

Zero stars for a horrible service. Everything was perfect until they sent me a final bill charging me 2 carseats rental when I had prepay this. Also, they charge me a replacement cost when I had returned their carseat. I have pictures as evidence that I returned the two carseats. 200.46 on top of what I had pre paid for. When I call to discuss this nobody knew about the charges. I got transferred to different departments that had nothing to do with billing, I got hung up on.They kept me on hold for almost 2 hours. Nobody knows anything about it. Be aware if you want to hassle with this people after your vacation.7/1/21 Update: I sent an email with my information three weeks ago, and they responded saying that the manager will contact me directly. I have not received any call nor any email with an answer. To make things worse I just received an email today saying that they will charge me a toll service besides the one they had already charged on my credit card. It’s funny the date and time of occurrence does not match my record because: 1.- I had returned the car 13hrs earlier. 2.- My plane took off 11hrs before the time of occurrence. This company is a joke.

There were around 10 of them to choose from and saw more getting in.Will recommend doing online checkin on app and select the option ‘skip the counter’.Saved almost 30 plus minutes to wait in line.Drop off experience was also great. The guy greeted us, noticed the fuel level and done in 2 minutes. No hassle overall and last few experiences with alamo at one of the US Busiest airports as compared to other companies (budget/avis/hertz etc.).

Used Alamo at MCO for the last 6 years with exceptional service each time. Rental car pick up is easy and simple with skip the counter option, rental cars well stocked with plenty to choose from, cars are all either brand or nearly new, low miles and high spec. Returning cars are also simple and straight forward I am amazed at how alamo manages to keep flowing with the volume of vehicles returning and departing but they do without any problem. I also had a few queries last year and was passed onto manager Delnises Santiago who was fantastic, very pleasant, helpful and a real credit to Alamo at MCO. I will 100% book with alamo in the coming days when planning my next trip to Orlando.

I couldnt be more pleased! I got off my flight last night, armed with a reservation at Thrifty cars, only to find a line of over 400 people. Authorities came out and said to be prepared for a 4 hour wait! I only flew in for the night to wish my mom a happy Mothers Day so I really did not have 4 hours to spend, I got on the Alamo online and spoke with a wonderful representative who hooked me right up with a car and I was on my way in 10 minutes. Alamo will be my forever rental car company now!

What is the point of a reservation when you cant keep them? I arrived after a long flight only to find out that there were no cars available with dozens and dozens of people left stranded. I had to take an uber to my hotel and didnt get reimbursed for that. In the end, I had to go to another rental company somewhere else the next morning because there was no way they were going to have enough cars to satisfy the demand for all the people left stranded that night (as they promised). I would have understood if they had contacted me in advance to let me know with enough time since I know its the Holiday season, but finding out at 1AM that there were no cars left was extremely disheartening. I had even called before my flight to make sure my reservation was alright. Never again.

I got into Orlando yesterday. Last night I noticed my tire had a psi of 15 so I had to put air in the tire. I went to drive to a business meeting the next morning and the psi was 12. Beaux from Alamo, told me I had to go to a rental car company if I wanted a new car. I had a meeting I had to be in and I told them this was not possible and when I get out the tire maybe flat again. They sent AAA to put a spare on and said they would sent me up with a new rental at enterprise in Winter Park, FL . I got there at 4:15 and was told that Alamo never set this up. All they had for me was a Toyota Tacoma which is too big for me and my comfort. I called Alamo and the employee, Marquis, did not listen to me and asked me if I wanted roadside assistance and I told him no and repeated my story. He told me I could drive to another location 25 miles away in a car I am not comfortable in at rush hour. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were in a business meeting at 5 pm on a Friday. I will be reporting them to the BBB. Do not use Alamo. Enterprise or anyone else is better

No hassel, skip the counter ! Picked the truck I wanted and left. Phillepe was awesome at the gate. Recieved upgrade email before trip. Worth the extra money to not deal with off site discount rental nonscence and hours wasted. I was on the beach in an hour. I will definitely definitely use Alamo for rental again. 5 star service!

My rental experience was very good with Alamo from initial online rental, prompts for a quicker pick up via email Online Check-In Confirmation, and having the vehicle that I requested or similar right there looking nice, and ready to roll! Not always the case with other outfits. Smooth quick return too, with a very nice young lady. My cost charges was $1.56 LESS than estimate too!

I have rented cars from Alamo a few times and every experience has been outstanding. Making a reservation online is very easy and convenient whether reserving in advance or using the “Last Minute Special” option. The vehicles are clean, reliable and the pricing is very affordable. My experiences with customer service all been positive.....the staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Pick up and return of the rental is always quick. Alamo will always be my go to place to rent a car.

Brilliant service. Landed then headed to Alamo service desk. Paid for a SUV and had the choice of a number of vehicles which were literally al brand new. Staff were fantastic and helpful with directions and even where to shop for cheap fuel when out and about. Thank you Alamo we will be using your services again.

I will go out of my way to rent from Alamo in the future. The process from selecting the car online to to pick up and drop off was effortless. The quality of the car was exceptionally good.

Fast and easy process to get our car. The only hiccup was actually finding the cars! The car was not quite as clean as I had hoped for since, COVID. The experience was easy and efficient.

Great service and first time to have such an easy rental. We did everything on their screen unlike other companies being next to a person and think what else will they scam me. Line to leave the rental with the car took very long

Receiving the rental vehicle was a smooth and easy process, however towards the end of my vacation, the rentals check engine light came on. I called customer service and they stated that it was most likely on because it was due for an oil change. I was uncomfortable driving it with the light because I didnt want to get stranded somewhere with 3 kids and they told me I could go exchange the car. I exchanged and I guess somewhere during this process things got messed up. When I went to return the car at MCO they told me it was $1600! Customer service was able to get it back to the original estimated price but it took awhile. From there we were rushed trying to get to our gate :(

The company is extremely lucky to have Matt working for them. We were the first customers of the day at 6am and from the start as more employees walked in Matt was in a great mood building their energy as well. He explained everything to us and did so efficiently. Really glad he was the one helping us.
