If I could give Marina 100 stars, I would! It’s a great place to live in the Metro West area. I been here for the last 3 years and anytime I had a problem, the property manager, Hedley, was quick to fix the issue! :) definitely recommend!
Loved the property, sent in an application and was approved. While drafting the lease, they informed me that the tenant in the unit would be staying thru September and sent me a quote for a larger floor plan at almost $200 more/month. Obviously that wasn’t the agreement, and they refused to refund me the administration fee (even though they no longer had a product to offer me,) and made it very difficult to even get a straight answer/response. I was also told my theme park discount was non-applicable because I work at Disney Springs and not within a park, wish I had known that before I even applied. Overall very unprofessional and disappointing. Do better.
Life is NoT better on the lake when MosQuitos are gonna tear u apart. N not to mention them going inside the apartment n harassing u in ur own home. No wayyyy thnks.
Now I’m not gonna lie, originally this place irked me. I placed work orders for some repairs and took a good few weeks/a month to get anything fixed. They had a change of managers and maintenance workers. Since then they have been amazing. I had talked to the new property manager Hedley, about my old work orders and he quickly got them working on it! Originally they were probably a 3 star but since Herdley came it’s like a new place! Definitely would recommend to my friends!
Location is good, but sewage problems in my one bedroom the past few months are a constant issue and for my neighboring apartments as well.When I request maintenance for this it is pushed back constantly and should be considered and emergency because of the sewage filling my bathtub.I can’t go to the bathroom or shower not to mention breathing in sewage in my home.I’m getting fed up!
When I move here I have put 5 stars the location is good, the lake view is great, the people here was kind, but after management changed the service is worst than never. Every service we request we need to bagging to finish, nothing work properly. The builds are old, and they dont have enough people to maintenance and seems nobody care. The ticket I have opened in August in December I simply give up. A lot of cockroach, in walls, lamp(!), oven, we need to wash everything twice, they simply spray some solution and that all, I have started put poison by my self. The appliances are old and low quality and if it break youll wait months to resolve. Its a shame because the location is great(picture of the view). Unfortunately, I do not recommend.

Marina Landings has been an excellent apartment complex in the Orlando area, with a good balance between quality and cost. The management has been helpful in every situation. Maintenance is always on top of service request and addresses them very quickly. This is really a great place to live!
I have been living here for over 3 years . The new management we have is great, the staff is very professional and friendly. Maintenance is fast and efficient. They help you with any issue you may have and they keep the place beautiful and clean. We hope we live here for a very long time.
If you get offered Unit 1805, DO NOT ACCEPT IT! We lived in this unit for 2 years, and theres a reason we nicknamed it The Aquarium. A mere month after we moved in, we had our living room, hallway, and 2 bedrooms get flooded after heavy rain. And in less than a year, we had 2 more floods and 5 close calls. After much insistence (the manager at the time though we were exagerating), they installed drains in the front ...which help, but just enough to keep the water from coming into the apartment itself. But the porches will still flood.And this is just the tip of the iceberg! This unit gets so humid, weve had to have 3 vent cleanings and a vent change because of mold. The living room wall by the porch had a leak inside of it that came out of the light switch, and caused mold stains on the walls and our framed pictures. Weve found mold and humidity-related damage on items and pieces of furniture inexplicably. Why else but the sheer amount of humidity in this place?AND as of over a month ago, we discovered a water stain on top of the fridge; and after a week of waiting on maintenance to answer our request, we ended up having to go to management to get someone to look at it. It was yet another leak inside the wall, this time coming from the upstairs unit. It created a gigantic mold stain next to the fridge, and when the plumber cut into the wall to fix it, a sizable amount of water poured out of it. We were told we had to wait for the wall to dry to get replaced. That was a month ago, and we still have to stare at this 2 sq ft hole in our kitchen as we pack up to leave.But youll enjoy a fountain show right outside your Juliet Porch at 3pm daily! (well, at least until they decide to fix that damn sprinkler. Its been well over a month too) Oh, yeah... the sprinklers here go off EVERY DAY. Because its not enough what we live right next to a lake, no. We need to water our humid AF property every day.I also hope they dont keep changing management companies. In 2 years weve had 3 companies, and with every transition, they lose our info through the cracks. When we renewed for our 2nd year, they lost our lease during the transition, and we had to sign again. Then they lost info about our pets and thought we had them without registering them, so they tried charging us a bunch of fees. Obviously, we cleared that up, but its still really inconvenient.Oh, and the vehicle situation? The parking is pretty limited, so if you work late at night, prepare to hike to your apartment. But thats not too bad, it happens in other complexes. What really sucks is people coming in and out of here like theyre tenants, taking up parking spots from residents, and disrespecting speed limits when theres no sidewalk and we have to walk on the road. You think that the gate we pay for would help with that, but that thing is broken 75% of the time.If you do decide to move in after reading this, here are a few tips:-Stock up on some gel sand bags from Amazon. They fold flat like fabric, and are water activated, so you can block any flash flooding on heavy raining days with ease.-Make sure you have a handy man on speed dial if you dont like waiting for repairs. Otherwise, feel free to unleash your inner Karen if you want things done. No shame.-Keep the apartment Show Room ready from beginning to end, because at the end of your lease, theyll charge you insane prices for easy fixes. For example: a hole 1 or smaller (AKA Nail/Pin hole) will run you $25 EACH. Thats just a taste of their checklist.In all honesty, dont waste your time or money on this place. There are far better places around the Orlando area for this amount of rent. This has been simultaneously and by far the worst AND most expensive apartment Ive lived in, and its not worth it.Edit: No thank you, we dont need to find a resolution. We already found one without your help: we moved out. If yall wanted to be helpful, you shouldve taken our maintenance concerns more seriously while we were still your tenants.

I have lived here for a while now and I can honestly say this has been my favorite apartment complex so far. Great staff, superior customer service. The maintenance staff is quick and persistent. I could not ask for a better apartment community.
I love living here. Feels like a resort. I used to live here before o moved out of town and had to come back. . Yes it’s on the upper end of prices. But you pay what you get. Staff are amazing, very responsive to your needs. Maintenance is excellent as well. I feel safe in this apartment. Worth the buck in metro west.
My family has lived here for a year and we just renewed our lease. New management has done a phenomenal job at improving this community, keeping tenants content, and very involved with events to always look forward to. Over all, this staff is very friendly and hard working. Thank you Hedley for all of your time!

In these difficult times where things are frustrating (COVID 19), they manage to keep their professionalism, and my concerns a top priority which am grateful for. My family and I stayed there last year. Our unit was ground floor near the lake (great view). The front office staffs were always polite and professional. It is a well maintained property. It is a nice size as well in comparison to most apartments in that area. I never experienced any issues with bugs as mentioned by others, it could be due to the fact that we kept our space clean. I always felt safe. Parking was insane. If your work hours are outside of the 9-5, you will have issues with parking. My main issue was my ability to hear the upstairs tenants every steps (literally). Some days were better than others. Overall, it is a well maintained property at a very convenient location. I would recommend to a friend or family.
Just wanted to say this is a very beautiful property and the atmosphere is wonderful. I was looking for an apartment but unfortunately they didnt have one yet for my time frame but I was very happy with the service I was given by a Sean Evans. Very professional and a wonderful personality. The customer service was awesome. Thank you for a great experience.
The staff and the atmosphere at this complex are great with exceptional views to boot. The staff has always helped me with my needs in a very polite and passionate manor. Sean E. always goes above and beyond to make sure my needs are met and that I am satisfied. If I ever have a concern I know he will do his best to assist. He really sold my on this place and it hasn’t disappointed.
Excellent place!! So quiet, security is superb and Sean has provided great customer service. He even left a sweet Thank you card at my door just for being here. I have a magnificent lake view, always plenty of parking nearby. I wish I could purchase this property!!!
Been living here for 7 months, the new company doesn’t know how to handle things. My a/c unit has been broken for five days they “fixed” it and it broke again in one day. I get a call from the office advising me that they have a technician in front of my door and I told them to let them in, but they don’t have a copy of my apartment and told me that the locks could’ve been changed and we never or the complex changed the locks.EDIT: DON’T MOVE HERE!! Worst management team I’ve ever encountered, our water heater has been broken for months, put in a maintenance request and they never came! I’m glad to be moving out, they’re better complex in the area.
My husband and I stopped by to check out this beautiful place, the staff was amazing my husband and I noticed that they work well together as a team and are very organized. The place that they showed us was very nice, clean, and very well maintenance. Thank you for your hospitality.
So many theifs live here. This is my fourth time getting an order/package stolen. Two times were directly from in front of my door. The other two were partially the delivery drivers fault. One of the occurrences apartment 1804 refused to give me my Amazon fresh order back after the delivery driver sent it to her by mistake. She claimed she threw it all away, lol, sure you did Karen. My most recent case was my Walmart grocery order was sent to the wrong apartment and whoever got it didnt even attempt to send it back. I was confident that Id have a neighbor bring it over but nope, I guess I had too much faith in the people who live here. It just goes to show how terrible the people are who live here. Ive tolerated the lady who is always screaming at her dog because it barks constantly and the men who are always having screaming matches but the stealing is what gets to me. Especially in a pandemic, I could have kids to feed and the neighbors just decide to keep the groceries anyways. How selfish.
At first I was excited to live here but now I’m so disappointed with everything from the start to the end is very shameful. The staff don’t take residents concern seriously, it’s seem like a bunch of kids in the management team . My previous lease was good until 4/6/20 I talked to them since the end of January and signed the lease at the beginning of February, from the beginning I been bagging them to see how my apartment will look like but they mentioned that they have none available to see, so 2 days before my lease Start they called me to let me know that my apartment was ready to move in, when I went to the office to grab the key no one took me or showed me where my apartment was so got lost looking for my apartment, when I finally found it the place was nasty and unacceptable so I took some pictures went to the office one of the staff told me to send him the pictures witch I did but when the day is come for me to move in I found everything the same nothing as been done, there were roaches inside of the refrigerator and all over the kitchen . I talked to the manager about the issue, they came over at my apartment to help out but before they left they promised they will send the maintenance people to fix some stuff but today is the 15th but I’m still waiting . As far as I can see they don’t have a maintenance staff available to response to the residents problem .I move in on the 4th and today is the 15th I still don’t receive the gate card yet and the cod they gave me is not working so I have no idea how much longer I have to wait for them to do their job . If you have kids don’t even think of it because there is absolutely nothing here for them . Sadly not recommended.
I went for a tour at marina landing. the lake view apartments are breathtaking and peaceful. I am not local so i flew down to check out apartments and this one is on my top 3 apartment based on location, staff who Sean was great with personality and welcoming and knowledgeable and more I was quite impress.

While apartment hunting out of all the stress that comes with it when I visit this particular one they welcomed me with open arms and gave me more than enough information. Not to mention the property is a very quiet and clean and the apartments are very spacious. I think I found my new home.

Went on a tour a little while ago and was impressed with the complex. Sean was a great help walking me through the complex and answering my questions. Unfortunately, no apartments were available when I was looking to move in, but I will keep this complex on my list to check out again the next time I am looking to move.
Ive been living here for almost a year and my experience with this place has been pretty poor. When I first moved in, they forgot to generate my lease. I had my movers here and also a technician coming to hook up my internet in an hour, so it was a very stressful situation. I had to wait over 2 hours for the property manager to come in and get my lease set up. Since Ive lived here, theyve done nothing about my loud neighbors that party until all hours of the morning, theyve upped my lease cost after they came under new management, and they never close the gates for the property so there is never any free parking if you come home after a certain hour. The only reason Im giving this place more that one star is because the maintenance team is great. Any time I need anything fixed, they get it done right away. Im moving out when my lease is up next year. This place isnt worth the price.

Even though there werent any vacancies at the time, Sean E still accepted my information to be contacted at a later time. He kept his word about keeping me posted on updates. After living here for 3 months we couldn’t take it anymore, our apartment had a big cockroach problem even though we were the cleanest people. The apartment staff tried their best to help but it was no use. It was all over the building, in the cabinets. One night we had one in our bedroom on the ceiling at that was the last straw. We cancelled our lease and moved elsewhere.
It’s a great place to live; very quiet at night and free of drama. When something is wrong in your unit, maintenance fix it right away. Yesterday, my A/C broke, I submitted my request and in less than an hour Hector and his awesome crew were solving the problem. I also have to mention Elsa from the main office since she is always friendly and always help me whenever I have a question or concern.The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because since the apartments changed owners, they look a little mistreated. Good example is if you go out early in the morning and the sprinklers are on, you have to be very careful or you will get a free shower.
Hi, I just wanted to leave a comment and say that Marina Landing Apt is a place to live. I really wish I could but my budget was not allowing me. very smiley leasing agent Sean was helpful and very understanding of my situation. Once I get back up on my feet I will move to Marina Landing. I love the lakeview more than anything else. I do wish they had a jogging path along the lake
After moving here in 2015 things were fine. Slowly but surely you start to see true flaws in this companies ethics. They got so strict and annoying. I had a guest get towed once. They offered other residents carpet cleaning when they renewed their lease and we never did. We did plenty of maintenance request for the air vents that seemed moldy and nasty and when we first moved in they would clean them and it was fine but towards the end of our lease they were not bothered by the fact that we were breathing that. They told us to do it ourselves. Our A/C broke and was leaking water on the carpet which messed up the carpet towards the end of our lease. When they removed the AC unit there were new red and brown stains that were not there before the removal. I put in a service request to get the carpet cleaned by their own fault and again they were not bothered. Come to find out when we moved out they want to charge us $532 for new carpeting. Let me just tell you not to expect any different because throughout my time here they always changed the carpet when the tenants leave. We had a roach problem every winter though our apartment was spotless and we would walk in through the front door at night to see 5 in the kitchen floor. GROSS. Lastly a huge puddle in our walkway that would come into the porch when it would rain. Stay away from unit 1003 and stay away from Marina Landing
Great Experience, I have toured the property a few times now just looking into the different layouts. Latavia is an amazing leasing agent and made our experience great every time we visited. There is a waiting list at the moment but I do look forward to renting in the future. Great property.
Great place to live. I love the amenities, friendly staff, and close proximity to the college...you cant beat it. The only underlying issue is the failure to enforce quiet hours. The last thing I want to do is wake up at 1 am on a Monday from loud music playing next door and it sounding like a proverbial heart beat throughout my bedroom :/
I dont like giving reviews but i went on an apartment searching the a few months back and i moved in. i must say i was quite impress with the application process, the maintenance team and a well dressed guy sean. He dress very stylish. I enjoy working with him. The management team is understanding and helpful. I definitely recommend the property. I wanted the lake view but my funds are tight. I probably will renew again
I really loved the apartment. The layout is exactly what I was looking for & the location was even better. Management was always great to work with. Sean always brightened my day, and was so professional to work with.

I lived in Marina Landing Apartments last year and absolutely loved it! I only moved because the rent was a little over my budget, but otherwise than that I wouldve never left. I have lived in a few other complexes, and Marina Landing has proven to be one of the best communities to live in, and the location is great! All aspects of the community were exceptional- staff (Naomi & Carol are amazing), maintenance, landscaping, amenities, and apartment units. People are you usually quick to share the negatives, but usually dont give praise when credit is due. Great job Marina Team!
I am in the process of relocating and I was just recently approved for Marina Landing. I was very, very impressed with the courtesy and professionalism shown to me by Sholandra and the staff. The process was very smooth and I appreciate it because that is not always a given. I would recommend Marina Landing to anyone. Love it!
I came here looking for an apartment in January at this property. They unfortunately did not have an available apartment for me at that time but I must say the property, the view, and the staff were very pleasant, welcoming, and funny. I highly recommend this apartment complex.
We have been here less than a month, but so far we are very pleased. In particular, Jasmine in the front office has been amazing. She has ensured that all our needs and expectations have been met.

My sister lives at Marina and unfortunately we cant come see her because of parking issue. I got my car towed I looked everywhere for a guest parking and none was available. I wasnt even in the house for 10mins and when I got out my car was gone. And this is not the first time my cousin of his car at towed too a week before. This is ridiculous not fair to family members we havent seen her in about a month and she just had a baby. Management should of thought this better.
Was looking for a place that wasn’t available during the timeframe that I needed. But the customer service from Sean was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend checking out this propert.

Love my apartment!!! Gorgeous views, large rooms, everything with new paint, new carpet, very clean. Staff is amazing, no hassle, prompt and caring. Apartment complex is close to two major grocery stores, a Walmart, physician offices, police station really close by, gas station, wonderful area to walk in. I am so pleased that there was an opening at Marina Landing!
You get what you pay for..... well that is an understatement. I have lived here for a few months now and I love it. From the first time I saw the area I was in love. I had a few financial errors with the rent, but they didnt hesitate to help me and refund me my money. I expected a bit of a fight before I had it corrected, but they listened to me and literally fixed it within a minute.From the Scenery to the Apartment to the Maintenance Service, I am very satisfied with Marina Landings. and Definitely recommended it for anyone looking in the Metro West Area.
Safe, Clean and Quite Community. A welcoming smile and great customer service goes a long way and so far we have nothing but great things to say about this experience. Its a bit expensive price.

My brother and I feel so blessed that our own Marina Landing Apartments has such an incredible management stuff. Shalonda and Jasmine. After meeting with Shalonda when we were looking for a place, she took me on a tour and showed me the community. She is outstanding in every way possible. She is not only amazingly knowledgeable about all applying process, but is also able to get the job done in a very timely manner. She convinced me to make my decision and choose this place. On our first day here, we met another friendly staff of the management. Her name is Jasmine. She helped us too to make the moving in easier. Both of them genuinely care about us, not just as resident but also as people. Bravo Marina Landing.We are pleased with Marina landing Apartments. the community itself is the best in Orlando. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

We moved here about a month and half ago and must say that so far, everything has been great. Ms. Shalonda White was an awesome leasing professional! She was patient with us in completing the process, she was polite, friendly and overall professional. Anyways, we had a few problems with some lose things in our apartment... we called, had a work order put in and in no less than 3 days, we came home to maintenance in our apartment fixing what needed to be fixed.No bug infestations, rooms are just right for my family and I and no problems with parking as we have a total of 3 cars. Thank you Marina Landing for such a quiet, friendly, well maintained neighborhood!

It hasnt been that long since new management arrived and here they are already charging 50-100 dollars for broken and discolored blinds. Some of us have been living here for YEARS and have never gotten a blind replacement, of course its going to be discolored. Rent is already ridiculously high, why isnt the money being taken out of the ridiculously high rent that Im already paying?
I toured the property last week and would love to lease here. Latavia helped and toured us. She showed us all that the property had to offer and spoke highly of Greystar. Couldnt have gone any better!
Was good at first, 2/3 office staff is very nice and helpful. Cockroach problem almost the whole time we lived there even after pest control came. Cabinets were always falling apart and apartments are small. They wanted to charge us almost $300 more a month to renew which I’ve never heard a complex doing. Money money money was always what they wanted for anything. Parking was awful. There are barley any visitor spots and we’re always taken sometimes by people who lived there. View is nice but that was about it.
This has been the worst experience weve ever had with an apartment complex. Ive never wrote a review....but I just need other people to know how much of a joke this place is.# 1 Bugs. It is absolutely disgusting, its infested with roaches.#2 Management: Ive never dealt with such unprofessional service. I dont know where to start. If you have an issue that needs to be resolved...... It wont be handled in a timely manner or in fact..... At all!!!3 months weve been waiting for them to resolve an issue. We even went to THE CORPORATE OFFICE IN DOWNTOWN ORLANDO. And still nothing is being done.This place is scamming people for money and there is nothing you can do about it, and no one that cares. Time to get a lawyer.I just want to be honest. If I could turn back time.... I would have stayed far away from this place. goodluck.

My spouse and I had been looking to move to the Metrowest area for some time. Marina Landing was the last out of about 7 different complexes that we had visited. The phrase saved the best for last truly applies to this complex. The office staff, Michelle and Shalonda were very friendly and courteous, which was a welcome addition to the really well kept grounds and complex. We had visited many complexes where the staff did not even bother to get out of their seat, and some that did not even offer us to sit down. The application process was quick and easy and our leasing consultant kept us abreast of every step in the process. We are excited to be moving in this fall and looking forward to living in this great community. A welcoming smile and great customer service goes a long way and so far we have nothing but great things to say about this experience.

I was looking for an apartment, but the price was high, but Sean Evans was great, informative and the lake view was Phenomenal.
My family and I have been living here since 2014 and at first the management was great but ever since a new change in the management the service has been horrible. The office does not care about any complaints about my neighbors smoking so much weed it creeps through the air vents and my whole house. The maintenance men treat you like trash and don’t want to do the repairs correctly. They also are disrespectful and do not want to tell you their name over the phone when they say everything is not their problem. The management does however have free Sundaes and fried chicken on certain days but they still will neglect you and never want to return calls. But as soon as my 1600 rent rolls around they always call. This place is OVERPRICED AND TREATS YOU HORRIBLY.

As I was scrolling I see someone named Shelly K created a review in the last week where it described MY experience. I did not write this review. Though, there are coincidences, Im assuming the likelihood of someone having my name first name and last initial who also visited within the same time frame I did is low. Therefore I believe they faked a review (5 stars) and makes me question how many other reviews they have faked. I did think the apartment complex was nice, the office staff was nice and friendly. I liked the model they showed us, but I dont think Im going to further consider this complex.
If anyone is looking for an apartment and want peace and a great view and local to everything, i recommend marina landing and a very funny young guy sean evans, he definitely give alot of info and does not see me as a stat. Very kind. Upper management was great while i waited for sean

Great area and extremely quiet at night. Staff is extremely warm and friendly. I had the opportunity to speak with Shalonda who was very attentitive and made sure all my questions and needs were met throughout the application process. Very impressed with the level of service Ive seen so far. Special thanks to Shalonda who went out of her way to ensure a positive experience its greatly appreciated.
This place is an absolute joke. Oh lets do guest parking and put BARELY any spots! So when you want your family or friends to visit you, THEY CANT HAHAHA. Yea. I havent had anyone visit me in over a month now because their TWENTY guest parking spots (mind you, theres definitely more than 200 apartments here) are ALWAYS filled with RESIDENTS who dont have parking decals or come from two car house holds. (Its one decal per household. Another freaking joke.) I cant get out of this place soon enough. Since Ive been here its gone completely downhill. They dont care about their residents. Just how much money they can squeeze out.And dont tell me you cant add more parking. Even on weekends there are TONS of empty spots. Im really pissed that I cant have my loved ones visit me in the place where I pay freaking money to live at.
I lived here for two years and it is TERRIBLE. The admin here always seem to have their heads up their butts. Nothing is done right or on time. AVOID AVOID AVOID.There is a huge BUG problem! The gate is always broken and parking is way too packed. The first floor gets broken into pretty frequently and never fixed. I was lucky to be on the second floor, but my air vents started growing MOLD. Maintenance was great and would come in to clean the wall around the vents, but never took care of the mold problem inside the ventilation system. They also tried to jack the rent up by 80$ per month when it was time to renew. So glad I got out!They actually called me today to ask about a balance on the account when I finished all of the paperwork to move out over 6 months ago! I was like I dont live there! and the lady was confused before actually checking her facts and apologizing. Do some actual work before you start calling me about an apartment that I dont live in anymore. DO NOT MOVE HERE. it is nothing but trouble, and over priced trouble too.Also, the gym is a joke of broken machines and the pool is closed for like 4 months of the year when you really want to use it.
Beautiful Place and the view breathtaking, awesome staff and Sean is always so pleasant see, he is so kind and his smile and sense of style really brightens up the room! If ever in Marina look for Sean!

Ive been living in this place for about two months, and Ive never been so disappointed in my life. About a week ago I woke up to my car window smashed in. So I went to the office to talk to Lisa (the property manager) and she didnt care at all, she was so rude and inconsiderate. Also my roommates car was also smashed in about a month ago and the office didnt care at all. The location that we are in we feel unsafe, we have voiced our concerns multiple times and there has been no change. Also mind you, we asked them if there is any type of crime in the complex and they said no, KNOWING there were 12 break ins last year. Theres a fence that boarders the complex where someone must have pryed open the fence to come and go as they please. We asked them to move us into a different apt and she said no, that we would have to pay a deposit fee and first and last months rent. There is NO security in this place, the gate is NEVER shut, there are no cameras beside one on the gate, nobody patrols the parking lot. NOTHING. The lights at night are super dim and barely even shine to hit the ground. I recently posted on our community app stating what is going on and Lisa asked me to remove it and when I didnt she went in without my approval and deleted it herself. Ive been trying to contact corporate about Lisa but they havent answered. This place needs a lot of help asap. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! LOTS OF CRIME AND PEOPLE WHO WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!
This apartment has been a boon for me and my wife. We moved from Texas to Florida back in Feb, 2015. We really didnt know Orlando much ended up signing 7 month lease at an apartment off of OBT and John young.. if youre new to the area avoid being in that area at all cost. We had to terminate the lease and it was an awful experience with them .. thank to God we found this apartment. Trust me when I say this from 10 homicides in 6 month to this apartment was almost like a blessing. Been here since September of 2015. I enjoy peace and quiet.. and I havent had not a single complaint ever since. Management works really hard so as to please the residents .. always on point on keeping up with the property. Its a very small community compared to all the apartment complex around here so maintenance is swift and very courteous. They do really well on keeping us updated on property maintenance.. staff are very very friendly. They understand your concerns and listen to you.The only tiny thing that really doesnt bother me but is a little bit of a problem is the parking! Say you go out and come back late you will end up parking 2 building away from your building. But its minor enough to keep me from complaining.. Id let go of my parking space anytime for the serenity and beauty of the property.Did I mention the lake right next to it.. its beautiful..Everybody should check it out! :)
Most unhelpful and untrustworthy place i have ever lived. Make sure you read your lease carefully, they dont care about their tenants. Make sure anything they tell you is in writing,

Being a career military servicemember, Ive moved around a lot and have lived in several different states and different apartment complexes. The level and quality of service provided at most complexes is either lackluster or generally just about a 6 or 7, on a scale of 10. Marina Landing is different. Marina Landing staffs unparalleled commitment to tenant comfort is simply amazing. Michelle and Karol stayed at work until almost 8 oclock in the evening to assist us in getting moved into our unit before the 4th of July holiday because they were going to be closed. Michelle stated that was she was not going home until I got what I needed TODAY. It really felt great to know that someone actually cared about what I needed (a rare feeling right?). Our home is great. Its affordable. Its roomy and most importantly, my room is far enough away from my kids that I cant hear them. Marina has my highest recommendation for a place that you can call home.
Ive lived here for going on 5 years now, in two different units with the same floorplan.Pros:1) You cant beat this location. You have good access to just about everything in Orlando.2) The property, grounds, and lake are lovely. And its a real lake: fish, turtles, birds, etc.3) Maintenance is fantastic. If they dont have your request taken care of by the next day thats unusual.4) The online resident portal is really convenient and easy to use.5) Ive never had any problems with rent payments being processed.6) The staff have started holding more community events over the last year or so, which is nice.7) Theyve stepped up their game maintaining the gym. A few years ago the machines were constantly broken. But theyve been doing a much better job with upkeep and put in a tv and radio speakers.8) The staff are largely a pleasure to work with:- Sean is my go-to leasing associate for day to day stuff at the office. Ill also nominate him as most likely to pick up the phone.- Teena, our current community manager, is my favorite out of the ones weve had. She comes to events and talks to you as a real person. But shes also efficient and dedicated to getting thinks done.- Shalonda (dont think shes here anymore, but wanted to give her a shout out) was my go-to agent before Sean came.- Karol (dont think shes here anymore, but wanted to give her a shout out) was the first person I ever spoke to or toured with at Marina Landing. She was always reliable and as a fellow tenant, as well as a staff member, she could always relate to what was going on in the community.Cons:1) This was in 2014 under a different management team, so I dont hold the current staff accountable. But it needs to be mentioned. There was a long string of break ins and burglaries of the lake-facing, ground floor apartments, including mine. Since then, the complex has added some CC cameras, an on call courtesy officer, and increased their engagement and communication with the residents. But it still happened.This is why I switched units, to one that wasnt on the ground floor.2) Every year, theres some kind of difficulty with lease renewal. Im pretty sure it has to do with the computer program they use because it always happens, no matter which staff member looks into it. Its always gotten sorted out in the end with no ill effects except additional time re-doing and re-checking things. Everyone is always apologetic when it happens.3) The guest parking situation doesnt work well. I hope theyre able to find a better solution in the future.4) Its expensive to live here.
When i visited my aunt during the summer my experience was the best the pool was nice the maintenance staff was nice and everything was just exceptional

This is a very quite neighborhood and I have very friendly neighbors. I Love going to the pool and using the gym and the view from the club house is amazing, I love looking out onto the lake.
Continuing Review since it didnt fit.When we spoke to Tina asking her what was going to happen with our service request. Without explaining in detail what the situation is she went right away to us having to move out. Her attitude towards us was Im waiting for approval from management because we are going to condem the apartment in 15 days and your lucky its 15 because I can legally kick you out in 7 days. We are in total shock... now waiting to receive an official notice to leave with options that will probably not be on our favor. She also mentioned that she had already spoke to her lawyer on how to handle this. And that the lawyer already looked over the contract. So they have the right to canceling contract and we just need to move out. Or to move to a smaller apartment. And that she was sure that greystar couldnt do much.What really aggravated us is that we always pay rent before its due...we are busy people that literally we just go to the apartment to sleep and yet we still get all these lease violations for insignificant things.From a business perspective is it not that what u want? To simply have reliable tenants.Also, talking with Carol was always frustrating as our complains were insignificant for her as she is also a resident as she would just say I am going through the same thing or I am experiencing the same problem.Carol also lied to my wife when my wife already knew the situation. A few months after we moved in a parking spot was taken away in order for a handicap neighbor to have extra space. One night we got home around 5am there was no parking even the car wash spots were taken so we decided to parked there. We woke up early around 9:30am to move the car but when checking through the window we saw her putting a sticker notice for the car to get tow in the next 24 hours. When my wife went to her office she said it was the city. She gave her a sticky note with their contact and the hand writing was identical. My wife left it as is to avoid another violation from something insignificant but unfair.One really good thing I could talk about it maintenance team is fantastic they always are on point and go on and beyond.I can go on and on about my experience here.And yet my wife and I have not caused any kind of trouble. We are quiet humbled to ourselve.
