The maintenance team is so helpful and everyone in the office is super helpful too, Michelle being one of them! Luis and Jose are also great on the maintenance team. This place is awesome and I don’t have too many complaints other than trash not taking cardboard, but other than that the complex is super well taken care of & the staff goes above and beyond for you! One of the maintenance men Luis actually helped me put up my shelves! Thank you so much!

I lived here with my boyfriend for almost a year (2019 Spring - Spring 2020) and we absolutely loved our spacious, calm, quiet, almost luxurious apartment. Theres ample parking, a two story gym and two resort-style pools. The location is perfect for foodies with Mills/50, Winter Park, and downtown minutes away. If I hadnt moved across the country for work, we wouldve renewed in a heartbeat. The staff is kind, most notably, Michelle. She walked us through the process from day one, was always available for questions, and was kind to take care of us even as we prepared to leave. Shes a valuable asset to the Linden team.

I just want to say a huge thank you too Michelle E for being an awesome leasing agent. Out of all the complexes I’ve lived at, I’ve never had a leasing agent so attentive and helpful throughout the process. She knows what she’s doing and is really there to help. If you happen to want to move in complex asked for Michelle E I promise you won’t go wrong. This is by far my favorite complex I have ever lived in!

Thin walls, cheap washer and dryer that constantly break. Neighbors leave their trash out all day causing the hallways to smell rancid. The elevator is disgusting, people don’t clean up after their dogs. Overcrowded with not enough parking spaces... showers have low pressure. I could go on. When I bring up any issues to the front office, they seem bothered or don’t return phone calls. Totally different demeanor after I signed my lease.

I fully moved out of the complex earlier this month and wanted to leave an honest review.First the apartments are very appealing, new appliances and great flooring throughout. I really enjoyed our unit, it was very spacious. Second the amenities are nice, they do have food trucks that come by from time to time. Now my biggest complaint is the noise + trash. Every building is different but whenever we park the lots are filled with discarded trash from restaurants/personal trash. I saw someone suggest maybe community trash cans to make it easier for them to throw out instead of leaving them on the floor. The breezeways can be dirty or smell from people putting their trash on the floor instead of in their bins outside the allotted trash hours. Noise varies from building as well but living across the main pool was a big downside as a lot of people do not and are not considerate of other’s living here and will play their music loud enough to be heard from across the complex into your bedroom/living room which is a bit much in my opinion. Sometimes the coursesty officer would help but very rarely which makes it impossible to relax when someone is blasting music or having a large party where they’re yelling or talking loudly. I don’t know about you but I would rather not have to have noise disturbance when I’m relaxing at home or even trying to work. I hope that the staff can recognize that. Yes you are close to downtown, yea the location is lovely but if you can’t even get a good night’s rest or able to work at home then I wouldn’t suggest this complex.I give this place a 3/5 because I feel like you pay so much and don’t get basics like a clean complex or peace and quiet.

I have a few things to say about this apartment complex. I recently moved in with my three roommates and we were taken care of by Sheniqua Mills. From the first step into the lobby we were greeted by Mills in a friendly and professional manner. I knew from the first 5 minutes that this was going to be THE apartment. Our tour was very nice and considering the unit we wanted to lease was not open yet, Sheniqua answered any question that we had and even showed us where our apartment would be and walked us around the community. 3 months later and we are officially moved in! Being on the third floor was super easy moving in thanks to the elevator! The apartment is LUXURIOUS. The best bathroom I have ever had and the bathtub is huge & spacious. For the price you pay, I believe you get what you deserve & MORE! Everything is super clean and there is so much storage space. The carpets looked brand new, the kitchen is elegant and spacious, and the windows with their crown molding really bring the luxurious and clean feel to the apartment. I was afraid before moving in that we would have problems with something.... (scared from past apartments I have lived in that offered around the same amenities as Linden) but it has been over a week and I have never been happier. When you walk around the community, get ready to be greeted by some of the nicest people in Orlando! You can see by walking around that everyone is on the go and very active, which is something I need specifically to feel motivated. All in all, I am so happy to be living at Linden Audubon Park, and I couldnt have asked for a smoother, easy, and more welcoming move-in! Thank you for all of your help Sheniqua. Make Linden your next home... or you might regret it.

Pros: Close to downtown.Cons: The new management has failed the community residents. Nothing has been done to improve the living conditions. Residents are obligated to pay $25 per month for valet trash which is useless. Valet trash is off on Fridays and Saturdays which happens to be the most busiest days for residents. Also the Valet Trash crew is off every holiday plus Friday and Saturday, they should at least prorate the service or have a makeup day or eliminate the $25 fee. In June 2018 the gym and pool bathroom were closed for two weeks because every weekend this place gets trashed. A curtesy officer patrols occasionally but when large groups gather the officer is nowhere to be found. The amount of money we are charged for rent each month should at least guarantee us use of the amenities. The pool is always dirty.

Complex itself is very beautiful and offers a lot but the people here make it an unbearable place to live. There’s constant liter in the parking lot / hallways areas since there’s no trash cans stationed around. Want peace and quiet? Too bad, people are constantly blasting music + children are always screaming especially by the front office pool. Sidewalks smell like dog poop since it’s hot and no one picks up after them. Oh and there’s also no COVID restrictions since everyone who goes to the front office doesn’t wear a mask and the pools are constantly full. I’m very disappointed in the living experience here.

Ive lived at this complex for about a year and a half and, honestly, Im wishing I hadnt renewed my lease when I did. When I first moved into my apartment - everything around the complex was well kept and the office was, for the most part, extremely responsive. However, I have recently noticed a decline in a lot of things around the complex: the amount of dog poop in the public areas, overflowing dog waste receptacles and trash bins that sometimes stay full for a few days, trash and plastic bags in the grass and the ponds (especially around the back buildings), cleanliness of the breezeways, and unkempt landscaping (many areas are in desperate need of re-mulching and weeding).I really did love this complex when I first moved in, but Im not so sure I can say the same thing now. For the amount of money that Linden is charging to rent these apartments, I feel as though they can and should do better.

I wanted to go ahead and leave a review for before i move in and then while Im living there. To sort of get a before and after feel of the place. From my experience with the touring of the model apartment and the friendliness of the staff (who answered all of our questions) it was great. Super kind and friendly. Communication through email was on time and outstanding. The apartment complex seems pretty well kept, love the color scheme of the buildings and also my partner and I enjoy the whole idea of a gated complex. Gives us a sense of additional security. Also the location for us was a big win. Not to mention the gorgeous main pool of the complex. We love that we are close to everything. The gyms, target and all the restaurants offered nearby. I am for sure looking forward to moving in soon and getting the actual feel of the place when we are finally there. So my update will be up soon.UPDATE!!Giving Linden a full 5 stars! 03/30/21It has now been almost a month since moving into Linden Audubon Park. I so far have had no regrets of settling here. Looking forward to the rest of the year. My Partner and I are very pleased with everything. Starting off with the move in, it was super quick and easy. During our inspection everything was clean, neat and smelled brand new. Up to date appliances and an amazing floor plan with great ceiling heights. The kitchen is very lovely and spacious. We couldn’t even tell someone had moved out of it before moving in. It was quick and easy to set up our utilities. The bathrooms have gorgeous tiles and high ceilings as well. The nests the apartments come with make it easy to control our electric bill. Hallways are always clean and the breeze flows through them on nice days, we also love that they have fans for when its hot. We hardly ever hear any noise from our neighbors. Everyone seems to mind their business and keep to themselves. Everyone has been kind so far. We do not mind that at all since we tend to do the same. The valet trash is nice to have. Trash (at least in our building hallway) has always been put outside neighbors doors neatly. We have not noticed any messes or leaks. I will mention that the dogs and park are lovely, most walkers clean up after themselves. Many areas have pet bags nearby for quick and easy clean up. I have yet to see anything wrong with the sidewalks. They are well kept and clean, do not listen to anyone else with their complaints about it on google reviews. The land is decently well kept and it looks great from afar when driving by too. No issues finding parking when I arrive home from work. We usually show up after 8 so definitely a nice thing to find parking near my building entrance. The pool is gorgeous. It is always clean and well-kept from what we can see. We notice everyone having a good time or sun bathing. It is usually busy/full during the weekends. Even with my balcony door closed you cant really hear much coming from there even if they have some music playing. Noise doesnt seem to travel so easily through our walls. I love that. There are no children screaming their heads off...just children having fun. People shouldnt make things such a big deal. You guys did decide to move closer to the night life and university, so figures it would be a large percentage of young hard working adults who also study and(most of who) have young kids. The complex also hosts great food trucks from what we can see when they are announced. Great food and drinks. Good for socializing with neighbors. Being new to Linden it helps make it easier to get to know people. It is quiet during the evenings. I enjoy the peace we have had while being here the past couple of weeks. Never any noise when going to bed. We are close to so many date night spots and restaurants too. I absolutely love the variety of choices we ave since everything is close by. Honestly, the price was worth it. Great floor plan and a great location. Not sure what else we couldve asked for.

Eight when we moved in, our apartment had not been cleaned. There was trash all over the floor and it was just plain dirty. This was clearly due to oversight and the complex sent in a cleaning crew on our move in day to address. Then we’re like where’s our balcony? We were told there’s a balcony. (We were relocating from across the country so we didn’t tour in person). Apparently their system doesn’t discriminate between units that have balconies and those that don’t so if it matters to you triple check. Then we discover one of our bathrooms doesn’t have a light switch in it. After talking to other residents it appears the electrician made a mistake in wiring in several if not all duckworth units. Then our toilet breaks and has to be repaired, 6 weeks later since we have two bathrooms. Then we got a leak in our ceiling leaking water all over our TV and furniture in a long line. Roofer was supposed to show up yesterday and hasn’t. Also, due to COVID-19 all amenities have been closed. Despite that it’s now June and the state has opened up again all amenities here are still closed. Complex sends vague emails about reopening that include no details. For example today is supposed to mark their “second phase” of reopening with restrictions but no one has any idea what is actually reopening or what those restrictions are. Despite sending property manager an email expressing our displeasure she responded with basically a blow off email telling us we don’t pay extra for use of amenities. One other thing, only the grills at the pool are gas, all others are made to LOOK like gas grills but are charcoal. We learned that lesson the hard way. Oh, and we’ve only lived here 3 months. That’s the summary of our experience here thus far. Hope it helps those considering moving here one way or the other.

Amazing office staff, maintenance staff, and apartments! Juan, Angel, Michelle, Austin, Tim, and Wayne are awesome! They address your needs immediately and are open to working with your requests.I gave the apartment 5 stars because I love it, and the things I am not thrilled with are beyond Linden’s control. The only complaints I have (which they have tried to fix) are the ant piles and dog poop! Another complaint I have that is somewhat beyond Linden’s control is that residents sneak their dogs into their apartment that are listed as restricted breeds on the lease (pits, bull mastiffs, Rot Weilers, etc). I know temperament really depends on each individual dog, but my mom’s sweet baby was killed by a big guard dog, so I wish that policy was enforced more for my small dog’s safety.Other than that, I absolutely LOVE living here!!!! They have such nice amenities, fun events like food trucks, and wonderful service.

When I went to tell the office to report it, another resident was there and said welcome to the club, someone stole my whole bike from my apartments porch.

I moved in two weeks ago and am so very grateful I made a wonderful choice picking Linden. My previous apartment was on Orange downtown and I do not think Ive slept the entire year I lived there. At Linden it is extremely peaceful. I slept with my windows OPEN the other night, which would have been unheard of at my last place. The apartment itself is very modern, clean, and lots of storage space. I downgraded my 2/2 to a 1/1 which I was worried about since I have a lot of stuff. The 1/1 had plenty of space for me. The community is well taken care of and I feel very safe. Neighbors are friendly (also something thats unheard of downtown). Very close to everything you need (mall, Target, LA Fitness, Ulta, Total Wine, Publix, Banks, Gas etc) plus a cute dog park and the Cady Way trail is within walking distance. Still very close to all highways and downtown restaurants/bars. The office staff so far has been accommodating and very helpful. The only downfall Ive experienced so far is the mass amount of owners not picking up their dog poop. This isnt really on the apartment staff, but more so the owners. Not cool!I hope the rest of my stay here is just as amazing as it has been so far! Thanks!

I loved my actual apartment; it was beautiful and spacious however, be prepared for a story. The office staff are a train wreck. We moved in when it was still Elan and everything was great, then it became Linden and well, keep reading.First problem I had was my dog ripped up the carpet in my bedroom. I went to the office to ask if that was a regular maintenance request or what because I could tell the entire carpet would need replacing. Austin in the office tells me “I’m going to pretend like I didn’t hear that. You can just push the carpet back in place.” Acting like he was doing me a favor by not putting the request in. I’m sitting in front of you telling you it’s ripped and offering to pay for the damages and he refuses to acknowledge what I’m saying. I went round and round with him at least 3 times and I’m finally so annoyed at him I leave the office and just live with it knowing it’ll come from my deposit later.Fast forward a few months, we tried to renew our lease (with the same person, I should’ve known he’d be useless) and our lease was lost. Literally the papers we signed were lost. The kid Austin who helped us resign seemed like he had absolutely no idea what he was doing and kept saying “this should be fine” and stuff to that effect. Myself and my 2 roommates just did exactly as we were told and assumed he would do everything correctly. When we resigned we were also switching one roommate for a different friend. Original roommate moves to Seattle and no one will rent to her because Linden claims she never gave notice of leaving (she did, she signed papers that Austin somehow lost or didn’t file?) and put a hit on her credit. She eventually found a place but it caused her so much problems.New roommate can’t get her gate access to work for months. She went to the office at least 4 times and they could never get it right. 6 months later the 3 of us still living there had to move out for personal reasons. I go to ask about the terms of breaking our lease and they can’t find anything. They tell me they have no record of us living there for the last 6 months and my new roommate didn’t even exist. Hence why her gate access wouldn’t work. How did you have someone in your office on 4 different occasions and you didn’t realize you had no record of her? Every time they would swear that her access was fixed but how?? Do you make a habit of trying to give people access without checking that they even live there? So he tells me we are technically monthly tenants and just have to give a 30 day notice to leave. That ends up saving me a TON of money so I say okay great and we all email a 30 day notice. 30 days later we are completely moved out and walk in with all of our keys and they tell me they have no notice of us leaving but also no record of us living there the last 6 months. They ask “How was your lease lost if you signed electronically?” and my response “We didn’t sign electronically, he just gave us papers.” She looks at me like I’m the one that did something wrong when I was never told to do anything online. I’m beyond annoyed and so confused at this point that I don’t even know what to say. We’ve paid you thousands of dollars in the last 6 months and you have NO record?? I can also show you all of our emails saying we are leaving. I’m going to be even more furious if they hit all of our credit for this. Even our friend in Seattle emailed just in case since it was all a mess. The problem lies with your staff not with us.So in conclusion, if you want a beautiful apartment with absolutely useless office staff, Linden is the place for you.

The management has gone downhill since this place switched to from Elan to Linden. They don’t have any available garage spaces or enough parking for their residents. If you get home from work late and don’t have the ability to park on top of another car then you’ll be forced to park in random spots that don’t block anyone. Then you’ll wake up to a beautiful little towing sticker. Meanwhile there have been storage pods double parked in the neighborhood for over a month and absolutely nothing done about it. At the same time you’ll find plenty of golf carts taking up about 4-5 parking spots at night and usually that’s about the amount of cars that don’t have a parking spot near my building at the end of the night. I’ve also had major structural issues with my kitchen island and had to have a construction crew come and re-do it, putting me out of a kitchen for a few days. I’ve also told maintenance of multiple issues such as my microwave handle breaking off (which I use maybe once a week) and my oven light going out and none have been fixed. It’s been over 2 months. I could keep going but I think you get my point.

We have lived here since May 2017 and it has not been the best experience. If you primarily work nights as my husband and I do please run as far away from this place as you can. Office staff and management have cared nothing about the fact that we are disturbed on a daily basis by our upstairs neighbor. We literally feel like we have an elephant walking above us. It is constant when she is home. We have called the office multiple times and the supposed security officer as well. No one cares. Rent here is too high for the lack of peace you get. It’s a pretty place on the outside but it’s a living hell for us. Dog poop is everywhere. People are so lazy they create parking spots that don’t exist just so they don’t have to walk to their buildings. It’s ridiculous! We will not be renewing our lease and we are counting down the days until we can move out!

The worst apartment complex for parking! You have to park three buildings away if you are not home by 7pm. Staff does not care about you or your familys safety if you work nights. when you try and complain they just tell you sorry nothing we can do!Next they are constantly coming to your apartment for inspections and its a 6/9 hour window but in my case they love to make me the first knowing I work late nights.Next they are new apartments but they have roof leaks and windows leak. Paint splatter all over floor on patio. Cabinets looked like they had water damaged when we moved in. Walls and floors are paper thin so you can hear all your neighbors.Next lets talk about there so called dog restrictions, this place is full of pits and Rottweilers! Keep your little dogs close to you. I cant wait to move out.

When I first moved into this property, it was owned by Greystar, Greystar was an amazing company to rent from. Everyone from their office staff to their maintenance staff were so polite and professional. The complex was kept clean and well maintained. My husband and I knew there was troubled headed our way when the complex was sold to another company and the name of complex changed from Elan to Linden. We enjoyed living here so we decided to give it a shot. It has been a completely different experience. The staff is lazy and rude, very unhelpful. I have walked into the office with complaints and have waited as long as thirty minutes for someone to attend to me, while the manager just sat in her office ignoring that anyone was there waiting. I have put in work orders for my apartment that have never been attended too, meanwhile the maintenance staff sit around in their golf carts playing music, talking in a group or on the phone. The community is not well kept as it used to be. There is dog poop everywhere!!! Even on the side walk! The grills at the pool are always disgusting and many times out of order. The hallways leading up to the units are so dirty, many people let their garbage leak and the smell stays throughout the hallways, as you walk by your shoes stick to left behind garbage liquid. There once was an old car that the alarm would go off 3-4 times a day including in the middle of the night and management never looked into it. The gate is always broken, sometimes it doesnt ring so you cant get in. I went to go check my mailbox and there was no mail in it but an available sign inside, it is not available I still live here!!! We will be moving as soon as our lease is up! I do not recommend this complex!!! Also I have called the office to inquire about a light bulb change I needed in my unit which mind you is a specialized light bulb and is very high up, rudely the man helping me told me I was responsible for changing it and getting a new one, when I asked him what was the name of the light bulb he told me he didnt know, so I asked him to find out and he hung up the phone!!!!! Cant wait to get out of here!!!

Lived here for a year, in the beginning the management company was great and I loved living here ( property was still under construction, so it wasn’t nearly as packed as it is now) They were accommodating, organized, and worked with a sense of urgency. 6 months into my lease the management company changed and everything started going downhill. It was not worth the amount of money I spent on a one bedroom apartment, that was built with paper thin walls and cheap construction. Upon moving out, and giving the leasing office a written notice, they still claimed that it wasn’t a “scheduled” move out and a final bill would be sent to me. I now have a 3,000 dollar bill for moving out 6 weeks early ( with written notice) and leaving my apartment in impeccable condition. Please look else where if your searching for an apartment in the downtown area. Parking is another issue, if you get home anytime after 10pm, you will not have a spot. The management company doesn’t care about how happy or safe you are, they really just want your money. Look else where and don’t get sucked into this money pit!

First I want to start off that this place is well kept and clean on the OUTSIDE. But living here is hell! The walls and floors are paper thin, you can hear everything going on outside and your neighbors. I dont mind noise but when the windows are closed and I can hear 2 people having a normal conversation outside word for word, living on the 4th floor there is something wrong with that. If you live around neighbors that are understandable human beings then you will be fine, but if you live with grumpy neighbors get ready to get complaints and notices of eviction all the time about walking too loud or talking too loud because like I said before, this place is made of paper. The money that went to build this place was only for the outside and cosmetics to look nice, but the apartment itself was built horribly. I only stayed here 1 month because everyday the lady below me would bang on her ceiling, I started to tip toe around just to please her since I didnt want to get an eviction notice. Management wont understand your side of the story, I heard the lady below me screaming at her kids all the time late at night but I didnt care. I had to break lease and pay the $3000 fee to get out of here because I wasnt going to risk an eviction on my record for simply WALKING TOO LOUD around my apartment. The highest I could leave my volume on my TV is 5, which is basically whispering, because the lady below me would complain that my TV is too loud. 5!!!!!! Staff doesnt know what they are doing either, they say they will get back to you but will never call you back and when you call them for an update they dont even remember talking to you. The Elan staff was 10x better and way more knowledgeable. I understand new management and bringing in your own people, but at least bring in staff that can think on their own. Should have just kept the Elan staff! If you plan on moving here, and like to live like a mouse then this place would be perfect for you. If you have a family please save yourself the trouble, time and money to find a better built place! I would not wish this place on any family.

The manager Wayne is the nicest man on the planet. All the maintenance workers are fantastic. Most of the office workers are nice... I have caught them on their bad days before but I mean I’ve been snippy on days too so that’s nothing to me, they are nice people for the most part. I just didn’t like the fact that the apartment had a MAJOR mold and cockroach problem. Grosses me out. Pest control was always spraying in my apartment but that never did much. Literally makes me sick because I was pregnant when I lived there. Can’t imagine my baby one day crawling next to a cockroach 😖. Also, my husband’s truck was hit in the middle of the night and with what we paid for rent, it was disappointing to learn that there are no cameras in the parking lot. I wouldn’t recommend the apartment complex, however, I believe all the workers deserve a raise with his accommodating they are and how kind. Truly amazing people, but the apartments aren’t worth the money. I work from home and also tried working at the pool. That was IMPOSSIBLE with the loud music playing constantly. There’s always a group of people at the pool at night drunk. Just not my kind of place I want to be.

Great apartment complex! The Complex is overall quiet, the amenities and units are beautifully constructed and up to date. I believe the complex is only 2 yrs old so every unit comes with the same upgrades which is very nice as most of the apartments in Orlando are extremely old and have just been renovated in an attempt to keep up with the times (which they then charge you an arm and a leg for). They also host pretty cool events. Attended the food truck event last night with free wine and we had a blast! Hopefully they will keep these events going and expand the variety of vendors that attend. Not giving 5 starts because of a very loud neighbor I have above me who yells, stomps, and slams things at all hours and has a dog who yaps and barks non-stop for hours on end but this is not the staffs fault as they cannot control residents but it is taking away from me fully enjoying my unit. A lot of residents also have dogs and do not pick up after their pets. Those are the only shortcomings I can think of.

I’m warning you, don’t move here. There is dog poop everywhere and they don’t take any precautions besides sending some lame laughable emails to residents who don’t care. The walls and floors are way too thin, leading to complaints from myself and my downstairs neighbors. The grills are always broken, the dog park is useless and dirty, gates broken, and no EV plugs. With all this said, they have the audacity to raise rent to $1550 (after all the BS fees they add to the base) for a 1 bedroom apt. R U N A W A Y.

Do not be tempted by the cute interior, living here is actual hell on earth. I dont even know where to start.First off, the leasing office seems very inexperienced, every time I tried to fill out my application there was a problem with the website, then even when it was approved I couldnt sign my lease because they didnt know how to approve it on the back end. The website was constantly failing, 404ing, the whole 9 yards. Then ended up accidentally giving my apartment to someone else and I had to settle with a different floor plan.Upon move in they gave me the keys to someone elses mailbox and misplaced most of my mail because we did not have functioning mail boxes. The apartments are cute inside but its obvious the construction was rushed, floors arent completely finished in my apartment, crooked handles, still had pencil markings and writing all over my counters and tiles upon move in.Communication with the leasing office is extremely lacking, they refuse to keep people updated on the progress of they amenities or any other questions residents have.Next is your neighbors. You would think for living in an expensive luxury apartment complex near downtown you might have more sophisticated neighbors. Wrong. Screaming, yelling, stomping, all hours of the day and night. No one picks up after their animals, puke on the stairs, feces smeared all over the public restrooms, packages stolen, stealing trashcans, maggots and filth everywhere, people getting wasted and playing beer pong at the pool until 5 AM, smoking weed everywhere. There are no repercussions for residents actions. The leasing office tries to make up for it with sushi night or food trucks but it is a sorrowful attempt at appeasing people instead of making an effort to fix the reasons their residents are upset.I genuinely regret moving into this complex and I dread the next year I have to spend here. Dont fall for the same trap I did.

One HUGE reason to not live here. The ceilings are paper-thin, and all the floors are wood laminate, so you can hear a damn pin drop from the unit above you. Every step anyone takes, god help you if they have kids, you hear right through the ceiling and its SO LOUD. Greystar clearly cheaped out on a lot of things with the way these units are built. They look great from far away but as soon as you look closer its very shoddy building quality.

I had been a resident since Elan. After six months, I noticed the gradual decline of the property. Recently, I had to move out because the new management obviously is lacking in the upper scale property management segment. I felt like I was living in a college dorm or fraternity during rush...not knowing what I would see when I woke up on a Saturday or Sunday morning and opened my door or went to the pool. The grounds and pool area have been an embarrassment. Public bathroom near the pool destroyed by guests that obviously were not tenants. It was a place I was proud to live in. Its sad.

-*--*--*----*--*-3/26/18 Update Below-*--*--*----*--*--*-Lets be real for a second. Apartment living (or renting in general) is absurdly expensive. Its among the likes of towing companies using predatory tactics in college areas; a racket. Plain and simple.Elan Audubon Park is the first time in my nearing five years of living in Orlando that I have been happy with paying the amount asked. Management is on top of their game and the maintenance crew is refreshingly responsive. The property is gorgeous and the amenities are dope. Its hard to not sound like one of the office staff writing a review to bring more people in, but the fact of the matter is, Im having trouble finding red flags about this place. Any other residence Ive had the pleasure of meeting while moving in were just the best. I felt like I was in Denver with the amount of friendliness that was going on, and Im sure its because the people there know theyre living in a great place as well.As it stands, Ive moved from apartment complex to apartment complex EVERY YEAR. This is the first one that I feel that Im going to make an effort to stay at for more than a year.- Connor F.-*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*--*-3/26/18 update:Here we are, a year from my review.Still love the place, and I dont intend on moving yet. However, the surrounding reviews here are correct in what they say. The new owners leave MUCH to be desired compared to Elan under Greystars control. Now its Linden Gardens, or some similar name under Harbor Group. Its abundantly clear that Greystar built this to look good and rent quick, just to make a quick buck off the new owners. Everything, superficially, is near excellent. Just enough to Wow new visitors and spread the word of this nice, new Apartment complex. Actual construction however... Is quite poor indeed. The construction crew that was contracted was clearly second-rate. More than likely the inspections that were preformed (If any, at all.) were only preformed on the first two building types to get the A-Okay on the cookie-cutter design on the rest of the property. Subsequently diminishing the quality of consecutive buildings as time went on and they were rushed by the owners to finish the product to get to renting, so they could get to selling the property. What makes this clear, however since I havent elaborated yet, are things such as: 1) Cheap drooping shelves. 2) Uneven tiles in bathroom walls. 3) Floors that seem to almost buckle completely when it comes to anything over a tip-toe. 4) The slanted back patio (Very slight, but noticeable. Not unsafe at all, but worrying when first noticed). 5) Cabinet doors not aligning with each other when closed, and drawers making contact with each other when closed. Things of that nature.Parking was not planned out during the engineering and planning phase, as most others have mentioned, you wont be able to find a spot after 9:30pm on any given night. AND MOST PEOPLE HAVE NOW TAKEN A LIKING TO PARKING WHEREVER THE **** THEY WANT. Even if its nowhere near a parking space and poses a significant safety issue, due to blocking turns and your ability to see when trying to leave the complex. Linden needs to do arrange something in regards to this before the owner of the roads -- City of Orlando -- has to get contacted. However, as I said, I dont have an intent to move out any time soon. I would just like whoever is interested in this to understand whats going on here. Im making some bold assumptions, but I feel Im very close, if not right on the money with them.Im content here. Its safe, the buildings have survived the hurricanes (to my surprise), and youre right in the heart of Orlando. Everything youd need is within 5 - 20 minutes of you, and the other residents do all seem genuinely nice. Thats where I can overlook these small issues.*Disclaimer, I am on the 4th floor, so I dont have much to say about the floors, and Ive never heard my neighbors through the walls.*

So, I got to be BRUTALLY HONEST....yes In DEED the apartments are BEAUTIFUL from the OUTSIDE. They are doing a FANTASTIC JOB at taking care of the Landscape, The Palms, The Pool, The Grills, Cabanas etc. BUT are you living OUTSIDE or INSIDE? Please do not MOVE HERE because of its beauty, that was MY BIGGEST MISTAKE. Lets start with The past 10 months here have been a down slide so now that my lease is coming to an end, Im actually looking forward to it. . I was one of the first few families to move in so I am wiring this from FIRST HAND AND EYE EXPERIENCE. The office staff, really only care in getting people in and out that office. They completely rushed everything to build these. Brand new? But flooring planks have spaces and not cut correct. They didnt even remove the blue painters tape. SMH.The cabinets had scratches and dents everywhere. The caulking in the bathroom is a mess, a MESS! I have pictures. The handles on the cabinets are not straight Or the cabinets. The bottom mounding on the wall has somehow pulled from the wall. Two months into moving in, had to pay 17$ to replace what were BRAND NEW TRACK LIGHTSOne month later $49 for a New water filter?! They dont replace anything but a damn ac vent whenever they feel like it.There is a loose AC, vent duct, in the ceiling, so when the inconsiderate neighbor wants to run around with the dog, or stop, or walk, all I hear is the rattling. Maintance came, and one guy tighten a nut on the outside. And then said if its in the ceiling we cant do anything. Oh? Ok. Great!?The walls are paper thin, so thin, I can hear my neighbor pee, flush, & sing. At lease he has a good voice. Their are ROACHES. BIG ONES. Not everywhere, not everyday, but their are PESTS!Parking? Good luck! And if u get one IN FRONT of your building, DO NOT MOVE IT!!!Arriving home anytime after 8pm, you will go in circles until you realize the only parking spot, is all the way in the back, behind the last building, and you need to walk 7 minutes just to get inside, or parking outside the gate in the visitors parking. JUST imagine when its raining. There is NOT enough parking for the amount of apartments and people with vehicles. The pool and grills get taken very quickly with a lot of residents inviting friends and family over. So enjoy the pool from the chairs or your apartment window. To be completely HONEST (as if I havent already) it IS too PRICEY for WHAT you are getting. AND they raising the rent about 50$ more. So $1600 for 2 bedroom?!?!?! Dont be scammed! There are nicer places, BIGGER or SMALLER for the same price OR CHEAPER. Already found a new place.Crazy thing is I personally MET with the PROPERTY MANAGER, and I remember her specifically telling me certain rules, and I recall, our conversation she even mentioned that there could NOT be boxes, bikes, luggage Or anything in that matter out on the porches. That the porches were for chairs, tables, things that are visually appealing Somehow rules have changed, and NOW, you can literally have trash in your porch, and its OK. I as forced, and threaten with a fee if I DID NOT remove my WASHER from the porch in 2 days. (I was only storing it in porch cause we just moved in, and it was leaking water a huge) She isnt a Sweat Heart as the office claimed to be.So the TWO stars are 1: for the BEAUTY of the OUTSIDE, and the other for the Beauty on the inside (if you ignore the little things, but so many little things end up being a big thing.
