So far, so good. I’m glad I took the first step to fill application I didn’t understand a few things at first it was allot of information in once but staff did everything in there hands to make it right and I’m really appreciate that. Of course every complex haves there issues is on you to give them a chance like I’m doing. GET that special offer of 1 month of RENT for free if you qualify of course it’s a big help and a 250$ referral program. The apt have so much space and I’m so exited to move in to my new HOME 🏡.
UPDATE - After receiving a reply from the owner, I sent an email that was provided and have yet to receive a response. The only positive thing about living here was that the office staff was courteous, helpful and cared slightly. I’ve dealt with offices before that wouldn’t give you the time of day. But the sad thing is that this complex needs a lot of work. The location is practically a swamp with potholes all over the parking lot and buildings falling apart. Our apartment literally had pieces of chewing gum stuck to the floor when we moved in. Hot water would only last about five minutes. The tile in the bathroom was falling off, with what looked like mold was behind it. The area is not safe either. Cops were there on a weekly basis. I’ve had to make an emergency call myself before because a stranger was standing out on my back porch at 2 AM. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone but to end on a positive note, we had the best neighbors and the ducks are awesome.
This property is so unresponsive and unreliable it’s unbelievable. The model apartment they show you is nothing like the real deal. You can see their desperation to get you reeled in and then you will be stuck with paying fees to escape this horror complex. Do your family and yourself a favor and find some other place to live a peaceful and clean life- because it isn’t here. Sorry but you guys should do better.
My experience with Fisherman Village is not a good one. I am moving to Orlando due to work. Even before I could completely finish the application I get a call from the manager. Explaining my situation I was completely discouraged from applying. I never experience the level of unprofessionalism. As an RN and accomplished individual myself I would expect more warmth and professionalism from office staff. I almost felt like I was being judge the minute that I began to speak over the phone. I was told one thing when I came to tour the property and then when called before I could finish the application I was told another. This one of worse experiences I have had with an apartment staff and one I wont forget.
I usually don’t do this but this was the worst experience of my life and I lost my husband to cancer. Took over four months to fix my dryer. A/c went out at least once. Month. Never responded to mIntence requests. Infested with roaches. I had to throw out everything I owned. They were everywhere in my sofa wall art clothes etc. needed to move for work and would not let me out of my lease. Towed my car three times because someone stole my tag decal on their property. Called to let them know. They said do not worry. Towed again provided proof it was current and that getting a duplicate would not get a new decal. Towed a third time and they claimed they have me two weeks to fix it. That was never said to me. Hateful cruel and unprofessional. The living conditions put me into clinical depression. Save yourself and do not move here. Should have listened to residents living there when I view and told me to stay away. I know T least six other people that moved out because of roaches.
Apartment is nice sized. Leasing office is nice and respond quickly. They are cleaning up the landscape and painting. The community is quiet. Only complaint is the parking lot with pot holes.
Considered moving here so asked around and read reviews and honestly have heard nothing but terrible things about this place. I decided not to move here when a few people had mentioned that not only is the complex infested with all sorts of insects and roaches (based off reviews) but also came across a girl who lives there who says they refused to let her sign paperwork to leave and are now charging her extra for not signing the paperwork on time. Will definitely be looking for a more clean and trustworthy sounding place to reside. Thank goodness for reviews.
If you’re looking for an apartment near this area, DO NOT COME HERE. This place is absolutely disgusting, my apartment had cockroaches and not only that, we have MOLD. Though we obviously did sign a lease, after living in these horrible conditions I offered to pay an extra couple of thousands to break it and was refused. I understand under the lease, that there are certain circumstances but I don’t think if I am paying $1450 a month that I should live with mold and cockroaches in my apartment which is a clear violation of health guidelines.
Im shocked at the amount of 5 stars this place has. Whatever youre doing- dont trust them. I trusted them and moved here and Ive experienced nothing but ignorance, loud neighbors who smoke pot and blast music, dogs waste over the floor, falling apart houses, stray cats and ROACHES. This place is horrible and the management is unresponsive and they will force you to pay fees to get out because their only value is money NOT YOU as a tenant.
I would not recommend fisherman’s village to ANYONE! came by my friends house and spent the night there... woke up to my feet being tickled by a cockroach... ripped the bed apart didn’t find his buddies. But was so disturbed I couldn’t go back to bed. I won’t be returning.
Questioning where these 5 star reviews come from?? This place is garbage and infested with all sorts of roaches and waterbugs and mold. Theyre focused on painting the broken down stairs and fixing the fence but not the apartments themselves. Even pest control wont control these roaches because these apartments are falling APART. The neighbors smoke pot all day and the manager doesnt care and youll find yourself paying 3,000 fees to escape and fighting with neighbors who play music all night.
Moved in with many dead roaches covering the apartment. Pest control doesn’t work and this place is completely torn down. They probably pay people to put good reviews and remove the truth- horrible.
At first sight this place is so beautiful, the entrance, the ducks, the flowers, the staff is so kind and nice and welcoming, the pool is big and nice. Everything seems as though it’s perfect. Moving in was when the horror began. Ant infested closet, although it was fixed quickly it was upsetting to see that upon arrival. Roaches and spiders fill these apartments. We practically wiped the apartment with bleach and cleaned everything upon move in, but they don’t stop coming. Opened the windows, and a roach just runs inside the instant second as if the property is infested or something... The reviews are true and we thought it was all exaggerations or people who caused the issue themselves. Pest control came and it didn’t help get rid of the issue.. Mind you it’s only day 4 of move in and about 7 roaches been killed, 5 spiders, and maybe 150 ants. Although the staff is friendly, the responsiveness is horrible. Been trying to get some hot water and it’s almost impossible to get anything done since the issues just simply get laid off until someone finds time. Most of the things are rusted and old in these apartments and it’s disappointing, but that’s what happens when you ignore the reviews and look for the better.
I lived here 12 months. I have had no real issues.. they are pretty attentive with maintenance issues keep the place pretty nice.
$3000 fine if you want to move out this place. Violates the health guidelines with the patio screens being ripped, mold covering the place, roaches, spiders, ants, waterbugs, stray cats, dog poo being left behind and 0 star maintenance.
Do not come here if you are looking for a DECENT apartment. Staff seemed like they did not care at all.
Honestly even though this place didnt end up being our home the lady who took us on a tour was so nice and respectful seems like a good staffed leasing office! So rare these days! Thank you
Is very sad how this place is deteriorating and dirty, amenities and environment will be nice if is they clean up the areas residents take the pet to walk and 90% of them leave the dog bussiness everywhere, Im sorry.
I lived in this complex for 1 year and 9 months, because at the first renovation I couldnt leave. His complex is totally unkempt. They do not have light throughout the complex, if you want to go for a walk around the complex at night you must go out with a flashlight otherwise you will not see anything. I Reported that a wall the external stairs was falling down and it was never fixed. They have all kinds of animals and they dont pick them up, Stray cats. The landscaping is completely in ruins. The apartments are full of cockroaches. And the people who are moving are bad living, they do not pick up the feces of their pets, wash the cars in the parking lot, among other things. I have the emails where I report several incidents and they were never attended
Just moved in this week, incredibly easy and seamless process. Kimberly was amazing when giving us our tour and helping us along the application process to all of the paperwork and everything else that needed to be taken care of. The day I came to receive my keys was easy as well, so quick and I was able to jump quickly into moving. The apartment Is beautiful and I am just able to feel at home here.
Worst place to live bugs everywhere horrible smells I found a bunch of raccoons in my trash and in my apartment I told maintenance but nothing worst place ever don’t live here unless you love bugs and raccoons
Kimberly Yurchick was EXTREMELY helpful and expeditiously fast with the process. I never saw anyone as fast and nice as her! She was extremely helpful and made sure I was ok during my whole process!
It sucked living there, sorry... No lights in the rooms and more...
Roaches, roaches, and more roaches. Staff is nice. Lived in Ashley Pl and Avalon..no roaches. From 1st day
Living at Fisherman’s Village has been the worst experience ever.. the apartment is infested with roaches, ants and different insects since day one, Pest control supposedly comes on Thursdays if you call the office EVERY WEEK and add yourself to a list. In front of building 5106 there’s a huge pothole that no one has care to fix and I’ve seen many many vehicles mess up their tires and rims with it .. downstairs neighbor moved out 3 weeks ago and since then, their furniture and trash has been on the door entrance. Staff is friendly but talking with other neighbors we all agree responsiveness is very very poor .. I’m trying to find a way to pay the fees for breaking the lease but I cannot longer continue to live here
Been living here for just over a year and the management still has not fixed the roach problems in my apartment building. I’ve deep cleaned my entire apartment, and I live very cleanly, so it’s not my way of living causing these issues. The building is infested. There has been no consistent pest control, and management doesn’t seem to care unless I email or call incessantly. When they send someone, it’s the cheapest, least effective service. This complex NEEDS to spend more money on consistent pest control, especially for the rates they are charging.
Peaceful and tranquility. Love all the greenery and space for entertainment. We enjoy the activities the staff has continued to do monthly, allowing my wife and i to meet the neighbors. The staff is amazing and super helpful always. Our apartment is very spaceful and well distributed. Maintenance and management has continued with improvements within the community and we are loving it.
Dustin Bragg was great, made us feel excited about living at fishermans village. He was very informative and encouraging. Also very knowledgeable about the property and surrounding area. We look forward to possibly living here!Suehaley office manager has been such a blessing to our family. She is very cheerful and efficient. She has made being a resident a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Recently they had tenant appreciation week and I wanted the administration to know we appreciate them.
I moved here about 3 years ago and management was great activities in the complex the day she left the place went down hill and couldn’t keep any employees from maintenance besides head guy which is the best person I feel bad for him but now I can’t wait for a new place to move to when lease is done and trash is a joke has to be outside by 5 and it gets picked by 5 am the next day plus way more problems
The staff at Fisherman’s Village are all very nice, friendly, and accommodating. Suheily (in the front office) in particular has always been so helpful. She goes above and beyond to meet any of our needs. Max (maintenance) has also been so kind, helpful, and efficient addressing our maintenance requests. The apartments are very spacious and have screened in back porches, which has been so nice. Fisherman’s Village is very pet friendly, which we have also appreciated.
I have been a Resident here in Fishermans Village for about 5 years. And I must say that the Staff here are AMAZING..From the maintenance guys to the people in the office. They always keep us informed about any updates, events that maybe having in the complex.I will recommend anyone here..GREAT JOB GUYS👍👍👍👍👍👌..Thanks MuchIndia
Not professional at all and I will be finding me a new place to live . In the midst of a pandemic or is very imperative that these companies learn how to treat their valued customers who are facing hardships I was the victim of a KIDNAPPING SITUATION where I had to spend my rent money on flights to a whole mother state to bring my children home safely . I wasn’t even a full month behind on my rent yet on the 22nd of the month they decided to close my account for Non payment yet I told them I would have the full amount on the 24th . Very unprofessional and I will nor recommend this place to anyone else . Now I am facing an eviction due to unprofessional companies . This is very absurd and they refuse to give me a corporate number I will be contacting a lawyer and news station
Unit was roach infested upon move and office did nothing for a week they dont call back and have not fixed falling apart vanity after two months. Weve discovered black mold and yet theyve done nothing.DONOT rent here maintenance and office personnel are useless except for taking your money. Pay for valet trash service at $25 a month yet take out our own garbage. Run far run fast. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! So now they post they want to fix it asap youve had two months how much time do you need Weve reached out for the entire time since move in!!! Thats the problem nothing is done!!!!
I have living here almost one year and my experience have been good. Administrative and Maintenance personnel are awesome and They always try to meet your requests quickly. It´s quiet place and fast and easy access to the main roads of the city. They also love pets. Thank you for all guys, specially to Suheily, she is manager and Maximo, he is maintenance.
Still waiting on a couple of repairs from my move in date and the trash pickup is meh but overall I love my unit.
I loved living here.
I just want to give a special thank you to Dustin at the office. Thanks for always being so reliable and always making me feel at home here at Fisherman’s. If you’re looking for a new place to live, I would definitely recommend talking to him!
I went about a week ago to apply for a 3-2 Kimberly was the ultimate in leasing professional we had some challenges and she worked with me and my two daughters and the entire staff through the entire process if anyone is looking for a 3-2 or one-bedroom apartment Fishermans Village not only has a beautiful community and amenities the apartments are beautifully sized and very functional the staff is the ultimate in professionalism and kindness five stars to Fishermans Village and theyre leasing professionals especially Kimberly. We are very excited and cannot wait until I move in. Thank you again
Moved into a 3-bedroom a year ago and I love it! The staff is very friendly. The maintenance team completes service requests within a day or two. They do monthly activities for you to meet your neighbors and best of all I dont have to pay for parking my own car! Planning on staying here until I buy a house.
I’ve lived here for 4 month and I must say definitely 100 times better then my old apartment. Staff is very nice and friendly, there always doing some activities for everyone and when i place a work order it gets taken care of right away... super happy with my new place
No, Please do not move here ..I lived there for 2 years(didnt have other option). When my lease finished, they charged me double the Cleaning fee(I can prove it, I still have the bill) and took from my deposit 200 dollars(carpet cleaning ) when CLEARLY manager at that time said that we didnt have to clean it(yes, we left it Clean). Old Apartments, Squeaky floors, 2 years in a row vandalism in the parkings, dark parking lot...if you like to live between roaches and Managers lying to you..go ahead and enjoy it !
Nice apartament complex
We have been residents at fishermen’s village for 15 months and love it! The staff is amazing from the manager to the maintenance! They amenities are good. We love the pool. We do wish that there was a bigger playground for the kids. The management puts together social gatherings monthly for the residents which I think is a big plus! I would highly recommend Fishermen’s village to everyone.
Ive been living at Fisherman for almost a year and just upgraded to a two bedroom. I was hesitant at first because of some of the reviews but my experience has been amazing. If I could recommend a leasing agent it would be Dustin Bragg. He has always addressed any concern in a timely manner, hes patient with questions and makes it a point to remember tenant names which shows that he cares about our living situation and overall the families that live at fisherman. It goes beyond just getting the units rented, its ensuring that people are comfortable and well taken cared of. Dustin does a great job at that! There has been multiple times where staff hands out breakfast baggies on our way out during the week which is amazing and the maintenance team is very friendly as well.
Visited community looking for a 1 bedroom for move in right away. They do not have availability currently but the ladies in the office were very nice and offered to show me a 1 bedroom model and all the amenities the apartments have to offer. Had they had availability I would have leased just because of them.
This will be my 4th year living here and I have been very happy It is quiet and safe. The office personnel have always been very helpful with all maintenance request and the employees are friendly as they work to fix the problems.Lawns are well kept so all in all this is a nice little community.
When I first moved into the Fishermans Village I noticed a musty scent in my apartment. I did not think anything of it at first as I thought it may have been someone who lived there before me. It did not get that much better however and then after two weeks I found out why. The wax ring was wearing down in the apartment above me and the toilet water was leaking into my ceiling in the bathroom when one day it gave out completely. They did not fix this promptly. It actually took them 5 days to fix this while I was forced to continue to live in the apartment with the smell. I did however move into a different unit not long after where I ended up leaving early and breaking my lease due to shots fired close to my apartment that I reported where the cops never even showed up and when I asked for the apartment to be checked where it came from I never was even talked to about what happened. At this point it was imperative that I got my family out of there which I did.
Very poor kept complex and poor management
Ive lived here for 3 years now in a 2x2 and a 1x1 and Ive rarely had an issue. The staff and neighbors are all friendly that Ive met. Since Ive been here the complex has been redone a lot and looks even better than before. Any of my maintenance issues are usually addressed immediately and taken care of properly the first time. If there ever is a problem of any kind, communication with the staff is pleasant and has always come to a quick resolution for me. My car has never been broken into and any bugs that may have shown up, regular pest control takes care of that.
So far for the past year the service has been good. No problems with management or maintenance. As long as you inform them on what needs to be fixed or any problems you have they get it done quickly. I signed another year with them. Managment is super friendly and respectful, so are the the maintenance. Just because they friendly doesnt me you can walk all over them. Be reasonable to them and they will do the same. Also I love the space. Pool is deep. And they have a dog park next to the playground area.
I recently applied to this establishment and I was not happy at all. I am disappointed with the company in general. I got denied due to my due to my identity could not verified which was due to the third party company that they use Corelogic send a 3 question vague question . They alleged that I failed a question. The property referred me to Corelogic who themselves indicated that the property is able to override and still process my application as a background check nor credit was completed. I looked up Corelogic and there are numerous complaints about the company and their application bringing up wrong information. I asked for regional number in which the property told me they could not provide and indicated that regional themselves stated they are unable to override the process. I asked for my money back due my application was not processed and can not verify my identity is not a logical explanation as I do work for the state of Florida. The property manager told me I am not the only person this has happened which I find is wrong because people are spending money in application to be denied for something that can actually be rectified by documents. I would NEVER apply to an apartment under Carroll Management Group!
I have been living here for 3 months and couldnt be happier! Friendly and helpful staff, knowledgeable maintenance team, and the pool and gym are great! Close to the airport and downtown Orlando, if you are looking for an apartment in this area I highly recommend Fishermans Village.
I love fisherman’s Village! I have lived for over 2 years now in this wonderful community. The new staff has taken over very nicely! The maintenance staff is always readily ready to help, the staff in the leasing office is always so kind & helpful. The neighborhood isn’t loud, the appliances have periodically been replaced if needed, but most of the kitchens are updated as well as the floors! There is a pool, grills, dog park, playground, lake to walk around, and sidewalks throughout to walk as well. Valet trash is helpful, as well as outside lights by everyone’s doors. The space between doors is large! I love not being right next to someone.Laundry Matt on site as well as computers usage in the leasing office.Ask for Suheily Samó, she’s the best!If you’re looking for a great community to reside in, this is your place 🙂
This is our fist apartment and as far as experience goes, I love it. The office staff and maintenance are excellent. Maximo is one of the most kind and dedicated people on the maintenance team we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Theres always a quick response to the work orders they put in and they’re very friendly and involved with the community. We’re going into our second year living here and for it being a luxury apartment, the price isn’t too bad considering that the stores, restaurants, clinics, etc. are all a 5 minute drive so it’s a very convenient area to live in. My only negative review would be the roach and ant problem I’ve battled with constantly since moving here. But I’d consider it to be a minor problem because these apartments are very old (the inside is pretty updated but the buildings themselves have been here for years) and there’s trees and bushes everywhere. Plus we live in a state where it’s always hot, muggy and raining so I feel like at some point that’s gonna be an issue anywhere. But over all, I love my experience living here thus far. We couldn’t have picked a better place to live in for our first apartment.
Been here 3 1/2 months and you would think for $1563 am month your apartment would be at least half decent. Not At All!! Roaches, Ants, and spiders are everywhere, the flooring is horrible! my apartment was thrown together!
Accommodation after accommodation, from a small back patio, to a new Ice Maker. Put in the ask and it is done. Lovely place to live.
Great staff! Very friendly. They really go out of the way to take care of you.
Decent place to live for the price. Could use some renovations and kitchen could use an upgrade. Water damage all over my bedroom ceiling and damaged cabinets all over the kitchen. But for the price, it isnt too bad. the pool is nice but people throw a lot of parties there constantly. staff is friendly but not much help in the overall scheme of things. spacious apartments and a safe neighborhood. Dog park, pool, lake with a path and fountain, childrens park, and lots of parking space. Very small gym- no weights. Overall it is worth the price you pay.
I can’t complaint About, I’m totally happy living here and I Love the staff members are so pleasant, generous and very satisfied especially when placing my work orders one of your maintenance guy by the name Max it’s a great person on the team who complete the job on time, I’m so happy choosing fishermen villages as my resident to lived .
Was there for three years. Now under new management. Never had much of a problem while there. Front apartments have the best tenants since they are closer to office - stay away from back apartments. They are priced as per market and lease will increase every year from 20 to 50 bucks. Other all, pretty place to live.
Ive lived in this complex since October 2017. So far, everything has been great. My apartment is spacious. The rent is a good price especially since this is a luxury apartment with a ton of amenities like a dog park, club house, pool, BBQ grills, etc. Noise level is pretty good - I only hear very faint talking from my neighbors every so often. In the complex, my apartment is located directly behind Semoran Blvd (Rt 436) though so you can hear cars driving by from time to time - nothing unbearable by any means. The common areas are cleaned by maintenance daily. The leasing office responds quickly. The location is great. I recommend living here. :)
Nice little apartments in a nice location. But what really makes this complex stand out is the staff. I have never dealt with anyone more professional and willing to help. Any time I have ever had an issue they dealt with it in a timely manner with extreme professionalism.
This was the first place I lived in when I moved to Orlando and at first I was very satisfied with the are, everything was really nice, apartments are pretty updated and it was, for the most part, comfortable to live there. I only see people reviewing the apartments and staff but what about safety? My car got robbed twice and there was always something sketchy going on in that complex. For the price, they could at least have gated entry. I dont think anyone wants to feel uneasy and scared to be outside too late in their own front yard.
Update: April 2017Im updating my post since I actually ended up renewing my lease last year. Things have changed drastically in the past year with Fishermans Village, definitely for the better. A whole new staff has taken over and they are AWESOME. Any time I have had a question or maintenance issue (which has been a lot less frequent), they are on top of it. Also, the pool and other community areas have been updated and look much much nicer, and you almost always see some of the maintenance guys picking up litter and keeping the landscape nice.If you are looking for a nice, mostly quiet place to live in a growing area for a good price, this is the place to be.The ONLY complaint I really have is my electricity bill is usually 140-170 a month and Im not sure why. I keep my A/C pretty even and cut down on electricity usage as much as possible, but my bill is always high.. Im assuming it has something to do with the insulation since the buildings are kind of older. Other than that, this place is great!Original Post: May 2016 - 3 StartsI have lived in this complex for the past two years, first in a 1/1 and now I am in a 2/2. Both of my apartments have been satisfactory I suppose. The office staff isnt very friendly and always seem to have some kind of excuse (I had an issue when transferring apartments with them misplacing documents and money). I am in a nicer upgraded apartment now but I have called maintenance several times to fix the same issues (refrigerator leaking, toilet not flushing, etc.) They will come in and tinker, but nothing is ever really repaired.Other than that, my living experience has been pleasant. The neighbors keep to themselves and the pool is pretty much always clean. I wont be renewing my lease this year simply because the rent is going up an extra $83 and I just cant see paying that much to stay here.
Maximo is a very friendly employee he is dedicated to his job he complete work orders in a timely manner its a pleasure experience conducting business with him by #5155 dockside
Just like another resident stated, there are alot of maintenance issues here immediately when you first move in. I had to report management to code enforcement. I do not recommend anyone move in here. The walls are very thin here and you constantly hear your neighbors from inside your home. A person that left a positive review here who stated they lived here for five years has had law enforcement called several times and had an incident where paramedics were called to their home due to a stabbing! Other tenants that live here smoke marijuana outside in broad daylight in front of the playground where children play and in front of the office!I advise you to look at all reviews before making a decision and be careful and lookout for fake reviews.Management will reply to all negative reviews with an apology but those apologies are not made directly to the tenants. It is only for disceiving future tenants. Im am truly sorry that I do not have any good things to say about my experiences here so far.
It was great living there. The staff were nice and it was a good location. My only issue was parking. I work late and many times had to park on the other side of the apartment complex. I’m a small woman, therefore it was not safe for me to walk to my apartment in the middle of thenight. I’d find people parking in two parking spots every night, because many of the spaces were too narrow for one car. If they take care of that, then the place would be perfect.
Horrible place to live the new management people are worse than the first management people that was There before. The place is always dirty they never cleans the property or the pool, playground, parking lot area. The apartments are always breaking down you called the office they never answer and when they do answer the phone and when they do days later they don’t even say where you calling and answer saying what’s up what a horrible presentation. They do a horrible job there’s this guy called Dustin he is so horrible he don’t even answer the phone saying welcome thank you for calling fisherman’s Village can you say hello what kind of customer service is that not only that maintenance people there are as bad as the management They don’t fix nothing or make the problem even worse. I don’t recommend this apartment complex for nothing in the world.
Excellent community to live in! I have been living here a few months and staff is helpful especially Suzanne who has addressed any concerns that I have had with efficiency and empathy. Landscaping is always neatly groomed, and neighborhood overall is peaceful and quiet. For apartment living I could not ask for more.
Maximo was very helpful when we had a problem in our apartment that needed fixing and we would highly recommend this place to live. It is beautiful and everyone is very friendly and it’s nice and quiet and peaceful.
First things first Im originally from California which once I saw the price and pictures online I went with this complex. I PCS down here and Im in the Military (Army). Living here 3 years now. So if youre anything like me and your a military member Im warning you now. What you pay for is what you get. Staff has always been very polite except for one lady. Not going to put her name on blast all Im saying is she gives the impression she could care less. Ive called the front office 20 times for very important issues, left messages and only got a call back twice. No, Im freaking serious about that, not over exaggerating. Theyll act like they didnt know. Confronted them every time. Did have a roach problem from time to time but I wouldnt call it an infestation. This usually occur during the summer. Paint job is crap, the doors dont seal properly, the apartments are not energy efficient at all, air conditioning runs constantly, so far my neighbors are pretty cool, someone tried to break into my car, police response is pretty fast, 10 min. They have been raising rent every year. Under new management and havent seen any improvements. The gym here sucks. The only reason Im living here is because of the price and I get along with neighbors very well.
Very nice office staff applied and approved on the same day . When my work order was turned in he began working on it right away which unfortunately is not so common. Very much appreciated*** update so i lived here two years the only thing is matience and office staff are friendly. Now be that as it may the dont do a great job we went to the office 3 times for a 60 day notice and no direction was given by anyone. Now we have been stuck with a 371 dollar fee because the said we did not give proper notice. So just be careful because they arent.
Dustin Bragg Is an amazing hard worker such great service me and my brother first apartment & he gave us so much hope I appreciate the service you gave us & we already felt like we were home !! Thank you once again God bless
Im happy with the staff but the property needs a little more attention regarding the trash compactor which needs to be resolved beside everything else its all good.
My name is Sergio, I would not recommend this condo to anyone, with the new address very bad attention, 2 boys not attentive and with very bad treatment, the boss is never present and the girl believes the boss, you shamelessly steal your deposit, because They try to give you the new apartment after 2 or 3 years of use and invent many lies, I really do not recommend these old apartments with some extravagant prices when there are others for the same price have better conditions, they do not even have lamps on the ceilings, they are dark and do not include washing machines or dryers, orribles, and the 2 that cater to the public leave much to be desired of such a prestigious company.
I have lived here for 2years now and Fishermans village is by far the best community I have lived in. The leasing team are very helpful, Suheily and Dustin are always helpful and friendly. 5 star community and service.
Wouldnt live here for the simple fact that they have a ripped up American flag flying in front of the complex that needs to be taken down and replaced with a new flag.
Staff is friendly and maintenance is quick to response to any maintenance concerns. Near shopping centers, lots of restaurants, and Orlando International Airport.
When we first came to view these apartments, according to the leasing agent they didn’t have any apartments to show us of the two bed two bath we wanted. This was around 12pm. He was going to show us one and it looked like someone was still living there. There’s was garbage and even a bike in the apartment. Anyways we kept on looking at apartments around Orlando. We were moving from NJ and Well we decided on this on & we are moved in, had to put about 7 work orders in less than a day of moving in. Both our toilets are stained, toilet is even leaning to the right side, the sink faucets for both bathroom rusted, the microwave cracked and they just glued it back together, there’s storage in the balcony with doors and one doesn’t even open you can see they just tried to put wooden pieces in the door(I have posted pictures so you can see) also in this storage, it’s missing a wall, no lie it’s just the plaster that they use to put the wall but no wall, but atleast it’s not visible so no big problem, the door knobs rusted in bathroom, the floor is like cracked but It’s covered with the carpet so idk what’s under there. In the master bath that’s a shower, they have painted over the soap holder & the flooring with regular paint and with the water now it’s coming off. & it’s so dirty!!! They give you only two days to do your move in inspection so it seems to me that they do temporary fixes so you think everything is good and then if you move out, they’ll blame you because you didn’t put it in the move in inspection. It’s been more than 48hrs since the work orders have been submitted and no one has came to fix them even tho they advertise they fix work orders in less than 48hrs, when I went to the office to give them a key of the door knobs I had to install myself because the one they have on the door are so old and not secure, I told the lady that no one had came to check on the apartment, she said they busy fixing other apartments that the AC Messed up. You are charged for valet trash, yet they come throw it to the first floor and leave it there for two three days. After about a week, the maintenance guy came and put this heavy formula on the toilet to clean the stains, (why wasn’t this done before move in?) They changed one of my bathroom faucets and it doesn’t even match the other fixtures but atleast they fixed it. They give you a little gift & ask you to give them a 5 star review but in all honesty this place doesn’t even deserve one star. I’ve only been living here a month and my best advice is to Please think very very hard before leasing here. All pictures are my move in day pictures unless stated otherwise.
First of all i wanted to say thank you to the great team at Fishermans Village, Suheily- Manager, Omayra- Assist M, Dustin- Leasing Agent and the rest of you guys are so amazing can ask for BETTER!!!! Very professional always making sure we are taken care of! Very friendly, positive and creative. I LOVE YOU GUYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Friendly and helpful staff. Apartment complex is very clean and conveniently located near Walmart, mechanic shops, doctors office, etc. The apartments are spacious and nice. Great choice
A quiet community. The apartments are average, however the parking is too far away from the buildings, makes carrying things a struggle.
Awesome staff very helpful and great place to live.
Well, its been a pleasure living at fisherman village. i have to give special consideration to management (DUSTIN), (Myara), (Suheily) and Maintence(maximo). I have received excellent service while living there. The concerns i had, was immediately addressed and taken care of. The neighbors i had was very friendly. I Would not choose no other place to live if left up to me. Due to promotion of job, i will be relocating to Charleston South Carolina as my lease expires.
This is my first year here and the office staff and maintenance crew has been extremely helpful and pleasant. I would give the staff 5 stars. These are older apartments that have been upgraded. I have had maintenance issues but they are usually resolved the same day and I have had no complaint about any repairs made. The community is quite and clean. The gym could be much, much better, but maybe they just havent gotten to that yet with the upgrades.I do think its a bit pricey for the area, but maybe thats just Orlando. There isnt a variety of grocery shopping. There are literally 3 Walmarts within 5 miles. For this price on an apartment, I would think there would at least be a closer Publix and some kind of farmers market. On an upside, they are building a shopping/movie complex up the street. Right now, the two closest movie theaters are not actually very close.Overall, I am enjoying my little apartment and this community.
Happy with service given. Thank you!
Upset that I was denied for an apartment over a cable bill although I have had good rental history for the last 4 years at my recent apartment which they did get back from them. I even had proof that I didnt owe them that amount with a receipt provided by Bright House, but the property manager wouldnt accept it. Ridiculous criteria for a property that doesnt even have great reviews.
Suheily and the new staff in general have truly made a difference here at fishermans. Suheily goes above and beyond for us residents and truly treats you like a human unlike the previous staff. Very understanding, prompt communication, and ultimately a good person. Thank you staff for what you’ve done so far for our community
Just moved in and was told everything looked like the model home and we couldnt see the apartment that we were moving into so I agreed because the stall assured me it was the same...... nothing like what I seen when I moved in the dishwasher had mold and the closets were coming apart, the fireplace has tile in front of it and it was all broken. Then after I got settled in, within one month of being here the storage place or washer and dryer room had fell down and no one has come out to fix it or look at it!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!
Written 9/18/2015 (Since I cant write more than one review)I still have not received my security deposit after over two and a half months. The rep at Fishermans Village sent an email with a discrepancy in the address where it was missing a letter or so but the correct address was in their system. At some point there was an error with the check amount that was said to have been distributed although i didnt leave a balance nor was i charged after i left. That has been resolved but ill know for sure once i receive the check. I never received the deposit whether with the incorrect or correct amount but my girl friend and i are receiving our bills/personal mail at the new address. I provided my phone number to the rep three or four times but she never followed up, there was never any real expectations set and the one solution she did provide was to have the deposit sent to Fishermans Village. I called and drove there after working the night shift for updates several times. Tuesday i requested this get expedited with tracking but no answer. Today i went back to push the issue and i am still waiting. I will say that living at Fishermans Village has been a different experience as it has not been nearly as bad as post Fishermans Village.Written 9/23/2015 (Since I cant write more than one review)I picked up my check this morning after working my overnight shift and waiting three business days; the check is NOT the correct amount. This feels like they are playing games with me or are very inadequate. I requested to have them next day air the rest of my check along with tracking. I contacted corporate last Friday and have not received a call back or any kind of acknowledgement. In my opinion that translates to the company not caring about the consumer nor how to better their business. Its now been 12 weeks since i moved out.
This review is from a couple years ago. If I could give less stars I would. This place sucks you in at first glance because they are really nice although a bit pricey (however, for the area I truly believe it’s overpriced). So I decided to apply despite the negative reviews I’ve read. To my dismay, I was denied even though I have great rental history and no other collections except for unpaid fees to a previous school I attended. No other negative accounts on my credit at all. No evictions no damages done to previous apt I lived. Nothing! So of course I was in shock that I was even denied and the lady in the office at the time seemed perplexed as well. She stated that she did not know why I was denied and to contact corporate which further confused me. It does seem awfully funny that after I applied, about 20-30 min later I was denied; while most apts tell you a decision after a minimum of 24 hours! Some even 48 hours! So it was definitely weird and I do believe it was racism involved. Nevertheless, I applied elsewhere and got approved for an even better apt at a much acceptable rate. So please listen to the reviews of this place and don’t waste your time!
Love my place! Layout is spacious and updated and staff is super friendly.
No complaints very nice place to live. The staff is always friendly.
Been here over a month enjoying great timely services and resort living.
I STAY TO MY SELF I HAVE CCW SO MY GUN ON ME ALL TIME NICE PLACEMY WIFE HAS HER AR VERY BIG 3 YEAR WISH YOU GUYS WOULD GET THESE GUY TO COME FIXER TO FIX MY SINK JUST SAYING
Decent place for the price. I cant complain, the staff is awesome as well!!!
Very Disappointed in my Bell experience. The unit above me floors squeak and the boards are hitting the nails when the tenants walk in the master bedroom unit 4948 dockside, therefore I cannot rest if the tenants are moving about. When I informed the management they sent a contractor who did a half ass job did not check the work which would cause him to come into my unit while someone walk across the floor in the unit above. When I informed management that the floor above me was still in an unfit state. I was told that there was nothing that they could do about it and that the contractor did check his work which is a lie I work from home and watched the contractor pack his tools and leave. When I informed the new manager of the situation she said she would get back to me on December 2013 when I put the rent check in her hand Still Waiting February 17 2014. NOt a phone call, email or note on the door, like the note they put on the door for me to come to the office because I owe 13 cent yes thirteen cents.
This place sucks it takes up to a week just to fill a service request and if they cant the come look and then put completely even though it never was. We found out that the last tenant was charged to fix the carpets and they were never done. The first week we moved in we had to call to get them cleaned. Our upstairs neighbors are horrible with constant banging. The grounds are somewhat clean kept the dog stations are always out of bags. Its 3pm on a Friday and theyre not answering there phones like always, they might as well not have one. Save your money and sanity
FRAUD from this place? I am very worried about this place. I am writting over here to find out if anyone else is going through the same situation. I received an email from these people to alert me from the rent due for the month and then a second one to thank me for a payment. Its possible that they have the wrong email but my email is very difficult!!! I have never lived here or lived anywhere near it! Is it possible someone out there has had the same problem? Please help if so, write a review. I called in to try to verify if they had my name under the system in case this was regarding someone trying to steal my identity but the person that answered the phone (Leila, Layla) asked for my DOB and SS. Isnt that fishy?? Afterall... they are called Fishermans Village. Could be nothing but sounds very ironic and Im SO paranoid now.
If you looking for a better place to live think about it of this place fishermen villages.at the begining everything is good then when it pass one month.right there you can start seeing things like fleas, bed bugs and when you go and complain to the office.they dont do anything they think everything is a game.i been at the office 5 times and they havent done anything about this insect beg bugs my kids they been getting bit every night and its disgusting.this is not worth it living here.too much rent for a rachet.place I regret moving here.and know they have advertisements so people can go and apply there.do not .do not fall for it its not worth it they change the management and it got worse.
