I really wanted to love this salon and I was super excited to give them a try because of all the positive reviews. The girl that did my hair barely talked to me (which is admittedly sometimes nice) but I think you have to try and create some sort of rapport with a client, especially a new one. She was newer and fresh from hair school, so I do understand just trying to find your way and maybe not being super confident.The haircut I received was alright-nothing to hype about. Again, she was new so I really don’t want to be critical or too harsh because of that.The salon was cute, but it had the typical salon feel. Stuffy, stylists just kind of side-eyeing each other rather than greeting one another with any sort of pleasantry. It wasn’t a very friendly atmosphere and I kind of couldn’t wait to get out of the chair and on my way.As I looked through some of the stylists portfolios online it was all the exact same hair...long, wavy, highlights-literally not much else. Not much variation.Kindness might not be something that bothers others when going to a salon, but it it important to me, and I just felt a lack of genuine kindness, even rather basic kindness, at this establishment.

Delaney has done my hair on multiple occasions, and I am always so impressed with her work! She is kind and professional and knows exactly how to cut/color/style my hair in a way that passes my expectations. 10/10 would recommend!

I went to FRINGE once before their remodel and was super impressed with my stylist (cannot remember her name). She was great. Since theyve reopened I have called three times trying to get cut/style appointments for both myself and my daughter. The girl that answers the phone tells me that either she or one of the stylists will be in touch to schedule appointments. But noone ever calls me back, which is discouraging. I would love to be able to go to FRINGE bc its close to my home, and I need to be able to go to someone regularly just for trims and minor cuts. I get that stylists are in huge demand now due to Covid and such, but it would be nice just to get a call back even just to say that everyone is booked and they cant get me in right now. I would honestly wait a few weeks for an appointment if thats what needed to happen. A call back would be nice. Thats all.

I got my hair bleached and cut here and it is by far the best highlights I’ve ever received. McKalyn is incredible! She worked her magic and got my hair the lightest it’s ever been. I will absolutely return!

I love this salon! I personally go to julz, she is amazing and takes such good care of my hair. I drive 30 minutes to get to this salon and it’s worth it in every way possible! I was terrified to go platinum at first, I had so many questions and worries, but every question I asked she answered in full detail so I could understand what exactly she would be doing to my hair. She made me feel so comfortable and confident. My hair never feels dead or dry even though I am bleaching it, and this has a lot to do with the Olaplex product she uses in the bleach, it protects your hair from the damage bleaching causes. Please please please use Olaplex! I also use the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner and it’s AMAZING! It has lasted me so long even though the bottles are small, so I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you so much julz! I absolutely love my platinum hair!

So I’ve been looking for a new stylist for a while now because my old stylist isn’t doing hair anymore and I loved her work. I have major hair anxiety so it’s very hard to trust someone new with my hair. I attempted to set up an appointment with Delaney and when I let her know I wanted to go lighter in color she made me feel very nervous about her abilities with the things she was saying. I have honey colored hair and she was saying it would take multiple sessions to get it lighter and anything less would make my hair break and fall out. I was able to go fully blonde in one session with no issue with my previous stylist. When I asked questions to try and get a better idea of what to expect she went strait into scare tactics to get me in her chair. Her words “I expect you in my chair by 2pm tomorrow or I will be charging you a $50 cancellation fee”. I absolutely will never have this woman touch my hair and you shouldn’t either!!! If you have to coerce someone into your chair and are going to be rude to someone just because they ask a question about what to expect with their hair then you obviously are not a confident or caring stylist. It’s stylists like this that make women scared to go get their hair done!

Wow I can’t say enough great things about my experience here!!I moved a few years ago to Utah, from Colorado, and I have had the worst luck trying to find a steady place and person to go to get my hair done—especially one that I trust. So usually I end up getting my hair done once a year at some random place, by that point it’s super damaged, I struggle to grow it out, and I don’t even like the way thy styled it...and ya, it’s just not fun.I have passed Fringe several times while driving on State Street and I always thought that it looked soo cute inside. So finally, I was like “okay, I’m going to try that place out!”And I had a fantastic experience!! Summer cut and styled my hair and I haven’t been this happy and felt this confident after a haircut in FOREVER. I will definitely be returning (especially more frequently to keep my hair more healthy). Summer was sooo easy to talk to, and I had the best time!The inside is adorable and it’s easy to feel so happy being taken care of so well here. I’m actually super looking forward to when a I get to go next time!Anyways, totally recommending this place to everyone!!

Okay, so its been over a month since I got my hair cut and highlighted (partial balayage) at this salon, and today it was just destined I had to write a review! First of all, Delaney is an amazing stylist. I found her at different salon after my stylist decided to move to California, and recommended Delaney to be my new one.So anyway, this morning I was drying and straightening my hair, and I thought to myself man, I really love my hair. Maybe I should write a review since Delaney is new to this salon. Then, this afternoon I went to quick quack to get my car washed, and the young lady handing me my dash wipe complimented me with a I love your hair! and that was it. She needs a good review from me, she totally deserves it.My hair cut is exactly how I like it, I have really think hair and its difficult to cut and Im very picky, so its hard to make me happy. As for my color! I absolutely love it. I do get compliments all of the time. This is my favorite cut and color I have ever had done. I follow Delaney on Instagram, and she does so much more than what she has done for me. I HIGHLY recommend seeing her for whatever you need.

Bailey Ault was a solid amazing at my appointment with her!! It was my first appointment with her after an extremely bad experience at another salon where my hair was severely damaged (and it was down past my waist!)...she scheduled an appointment for me that worked around work schedules and kids...and she was absolutely wonderful!! She was extremely knowledgeable and she explained to me the best way to help my hair recover. She gave me my options, her advice when I asked, and she even offered me advice on how to care for one of my daughter’s extremely difficult hair!! An absolute 10/10 experience!!

This salon has a very beautiful aesthetic when it comes to the decorations, it gives off such a happy and comfy vibe!! I’ve always struggled with keeping my hair healthy and I’ve tried so many products and nothing ever worked for me until I met one of the stylists who works here, Julia, and she recommended the olaplex shampoo and conditioner!! My hair gets sooo tangled no matter how much conditioner or detangle spray I use, and when I started using the olaplex products I could definitely tell a difference right away and I finally had hope for my hair!! 100% recommend for any ladies who have the same problem!! If you decide to go to this salon I would definitely ask for Julia, I’m sure the other stylists are fantastic but she did a great job on my hair and I love it!
