I came in to get a trim. Liz was so sweet and awesome. I was not feeling great about myself and she took the time and made me feel really good. She even curled my hair I left feeling great! Glitter fixed my nails I had done at another salon she also took her time and made them look perfect. It was my first time coming there and I will definitely be back!

I’ve never had a blowout before and I was excited ! went to get one for my bridals I. The evening and wished I never did!! I asked to get my hair as voluminous as possible and she told me she would do what she could because my hair is long! That’s totally okay, but at the end she put shine spray or serum right on the top of my head. It looked like I hadn’t washed my hair in 2 weeks. I bawled the entire way home because I thought it was going to turn out so much better. It was flat and greasy. I got home and washed it and redid everything that she did. It turned out so much better. Glad I didn’t try to experiment on my wedding day :)

I love going here to get my nails done. This is where I always go for my nails and I love my nails every time. Really nice people, and clean environment.

A friend recommended this place to me to get my hair done for my wedding. Im not certain of the girl who did my hair, but they recommend her often for bridal dos. I was not disappointed. I have long, very thick hair and she did an amazing job! I also saw some of the nails they were doing and they were beautiful. I highly recommend them!

This was my first time getting a blow out and Keia did PHENOMENAL! I have damaged and protein deficient hair and after Keia did a shampoo, condition, and blow out my hair is the softest and healthiest looking it has been in months! I recommend Aveda and HIGHLY recommend Keia with any and all hair needs. She is worth it.

Ive been a regular client at Jel Bar for a couple of years now and they do not disappoint. My nails can last for a month, even longer Im sure, but fills are vital. Today I had my first pedicure and Scheli was amazing; definitely something I need to get done regularly. The girls are always so friendly and professional, the music and atmosphere are great, and Im always in love with my nails when I leave.

I loved my nails!! I got gel extensions with small designs! The lady who did my nails was so nice and we talked the whole time!My nails were a bit crooked but lasted about two weeks before they grew out and started catching on my hair and stuff.

My nail tech did exactly what I asked her to do. Love my nails!

I went in to treat myself to a blow out today. The salon is VERY clean, staff is professional and the girl who did my hair was super sweet. I was extremely underwhelmed with the way my hair turned out though :(. The end result was something I felt I could have accomplished at home. I was not impressed with the overall look of the style she did nor was I impressed with the products used. I will not be going back to this salon for a blow out.

I have gone to Jel Bar for the last year for hair and nails. They have always done a wonderful job. I came in today to get my make up done for my birthday. I had high hopes since I had always had a positive experience. Unfortunately that was not the case. I showed the girl a picture of what I wanted and it did not come out good whatsoever. Nothing was blended, the wrong colors were used, the eyeliner was crooked, and I didnt even get mascara. I brought my own lashes and while I was driving home, my lash popped off. I ended up washing everything off and doing my own makeup and wasting $40 including tip. The girl who did it was super sweet but has no business doing other peoples make up if this is what happens.Update: I went back in and spoke with Shelley. She was wonderful and gave me a gift card for a free service for the inconvenience. She definitely made it up to me!

Absolute amazing customer service and care. You walk in the door and youre warmly greeted and treated with the utmost respect, and everyone goes out of the way to ensure you have the best experience you can. Not to mention my haircut is absolutely glorious. Thank you, Ronnie! 10/10 will be coming back again for my future hair cuts.

Lots of places can give you a haircut, but few places consistently give you a good cut. Even fewer give you a great cut. Life is too short for crappy hair cuts. Not only does Jel give you a GREAT cut, they create a full on experience that sets them apart from the rest. The hot towel on the face...the scalp and neck massage...it makes a difference! I always ask for Ronnie and she always nails it! I walk out feeling relaxed and confident. I could get my hair cut for a little less at the budget shops, but the results can be sketchy. Unless you wear a hat every day, why roll the dice with your hair? Im more than happy to pay a few extra bucks for the value of knowing it will be a great cut every time!

Honestly if I could put less than 1 star i would. This was my first experience here and i had read really good reviews, so I expected a lot more. I had acrylic nails done and the lady took forever filing my nails and some of them weren’t even straight. Not only that she cut my skin with the filer, which is forgivable, but it seemed like she wasn’t paying too much attention to what she was doing. I had designs that I wanted on my nails which were not very complicated, but it took her a really long time to do which cost me more money because they charge by time spent. And she chose a color that Was nothing like the colors I had chosen and didn’t even ask me if it was ok before she started painting on my nails. I hated the color she added. I was getting my nails done for almost 3 hours, which is ridiculous, especially because she had filed my nails so much that they broke 3 days later. (I hadn’t done anything difficult or rough that would have broke my nails if they had been done at any other nail salon that I have been to before) I had asked for gel on top of the acrylics and it started peeling off 3-4 days later. I have had a ton of gel nails before and I have never had any that peeled at least until after 1 1/2-2 weeks. This was the worst and such a waste of $60 that only lasted 3-4 days :( not worth going here if you want good lasting nails. It was disappointing because I got them done to go try on engagement rings with my boyfriend, and it looked awful. I could have had my nails done at another salon for cheaper and better quality, would NOT recommend!

Ronnie cut my hair a couple weeks ago and she did a great job. My regular hairstylist of almost 3 years moved and I’ve been afraid to find a new one. She did a great job and also gave my head a really nice massage when she was washing my hair. The establishment is nice and they even have a kid table with legos if you ask them for it. We will be going back!

I absolutely loved my experience at Jel! Me and a girlfriend went in together to get our nails done just before Christmas and its now 4 weeks later and my gel nails are still perfect! Shelley took the time to do our nails right so we didnt feel like we were rushed. She took the time to explain other services Jel offered and our questions about products/services in a way that showed us she is proud but not pushy in Jels services. I will honestly never go to any other nail salon, this was the best experience ever.

The nail technicians here are so talented! You can take in pictures and have those girls do it. They have offered me tea or water in my appointment. Everyone speaks English which is a bonus in my opinion. And lastly they will text you a reminder for your appointment that allows you confirm or change you appointment.

The staff is incredibly professional and kind. Whenever I show up Im greeted with a smile, after only a few visits the staff already knew my name and remembered a few topics from the last time we had small talk.My stylist works quickly, but neatly and respects what I want to do that day. If I dont want to have a conversation and just rest then they just work on me and if I want to have a conversation, well it can range from the weather to deep topics about current events or science or what have you (not guaranteed they can talk about any topic, the point is they will respect you as a person here).Jel does great, please consider using them for all your beauty needs.

You can immediately tell she’s been doing this for a while and definitely takes pride in her craft. While I was there, I decided to get my nails done. Monica was great. She listened to what I wanted and went above and beyond! I made an appointment for highlights and a haircut. They were very kind when I scheduled. When I came in, they treated me really well. They offer you water or tea and make you feel comfortable. I explained what I wanted and thats what I got without complaint! With the service, you get a nice scalp massage too. Monica was really positive about everything and made me feel like I had the most amazing hair in the world. I had even chopped my hair off a couple months earlier and it looked terrible. So she fixed it without judgeing me ha. This is one of the best salon experiences Ive had in a long time!

Ronnie is really good. I wasnt really sure how to explain what I wanted, but she was able to give me some good suggestions, which I really appreciated. She did an excellent job, I am very satisfied with my cut.

Got a groupon for a haircut here and had an amazing experience. Catie was my stylist and she worked wonders with my naturally curly hair! First person I have ever found in Utah or Idaho who knows curly hair, I called my sister right after I left to tell her to go here for her next haircut.

Mariah is so great! She pays attention to detail and is amazing with a blow dryer. The first time I got my hair color done with her it didn’t turn out quite how I wanted and so she made sure to fix it for me for free as soon as she could. That’s one of the reasons I went back again. I have also had a dual service where I got my nails done while I was letting my color sit. I loved that option!

I just had a fantastic experience getting a dry scalp treatment from Mariah (I think her name was).I get very dry skin in Utah in the winter, and frankly, its been getting embarrassing lately with my dry scalp. Mariah taught me why dandruff shampoo doesnt work on dry scalp and showed me what does.I talked to the owner and found them to be very honest and caring about the service I got. The artist was very professional, educated and expert at her craft. The facility is clean and new and comfortable and seemed better ventilated than other places that do nails. All the staff was great and friendly.I will definitely go back and use this place again. Weve been needing to get my kids haircut, so I asked if they do kids and they said they could accommodate my four boys if we schedule.A+ all the way!

Honestly would rate it lower than 1 if that was an option. Went in for a gel manicure today and the job was so sloppy. On almost every finger I have nail polish on my skin instead of my nails (which I could do at home for free!). My mom got a powder dip manicure AND HER WHOLE POLISH CAME OFF IN ONE CHUNK JUST 5 HOURS AFTER!!!!! She was literally sitting on the couch watching TV and when she looked down her whole nail was just gone. After paying $40 for something including tip it should last longer than 5 HOURS!!??!!?? They also don’t offer very many color options and really push product on you hard. So disappointed. There are so many other nail salons in Utah County that are much better quality with comparable pricing. Don’t waste your time or money. I’m just sorry we wasted ours.UPDATE: 2 weeks later and the issue is still not resolved. After an empty apology we finally did receive a genuine response but they wanted us to come back in within 3 days to “assess the situation”. We both work full time and there’s no way we could make it in...plus let’s be real....who wants to go back to a place that messed their nails up and gave subpar service? We requested full refunds via mailed check. That was last Tuesday and we still haven’t seen our money back. However on Friday my mom received a phone call for ME asking how my PEDICURE went which I didn’t even get??? How can people be so oblivious to the services their customers get??? I have no words. I can’t stress enough how poor the service here is. In a place like Utah County where there’s a nail bar on every corner you REALLY have to step up to the plate if you’re going to charge the same prices. BEYOND disappointed. I will never go back and I would never suggest my friends or families to go there either.

I think the girl doing my pedicure was new, she was extremely slow and nervous and not very good. I had to leave before she could paintt the top coat because it took so long (over 1 1/2 hours). I Left with a sloppy nail polish job and walked out barefoot (I wasn’t offered disposable flip flops).

Staff spoke English and were very friendly. My girlfriend loved her treatment.

Scheli is the best nail tech ever! I had a run of really bad nail experiences until I found her and now I can’t imagine going anywhere else!
