Melissa Olsen is amazing at what she does! I had been told for over a year that nothing (coloring wise) could be done to my hair because it was so brittle and damaged from using box dye a few years ago but she was so encouraging on working something out and helping me to get it healthier so that I could accomplish the much needed change I wanted for my hair and now it looks amazing! She is so knowledgeable and honest about her work and her products. I have been so grateful for her patience with all my random schedules due to my baby. She takes all the necessary precautions to make sure we are safe with the pandemic going on!

I am so impressed with the Sola Salon in Orem! The salon is brand new, and everything is high end, beautiful and clean. I love that every professional has a private room! It is so wonderful to go into my stylists own private suite and feel like I am an exclusive client! It is so nice and relaxing to not have to listen to any annoying conversations in the chair next to me or feel like other people are listening to me or watching me. I will never want to go to a regular salon again after this. Brittany Fish has cut and colored my hair several times, and she has done a fabulous job. Her suite is beautiful, and I really appreciate that she has taken the time to really listen and get exactly the results I want.

I got my nails done here with Ellie (Nails by Hails on Instagram) and as cute as they look... my fingers hurt and bled the entire time. I have been getting my nails done for years and this has never happened. When cutting the cuticle area, she cut and pushed deep. It has been 2 days now and my fingers are still swollen and in pain. Sadly I will not be coming back.

She will take excellent care of your lovely locks (and make them even lovelier).I first found Melissa Olsen at Bluntly Color when looking for a stylist who specializes in long hair. I generally keep my hair really long, and it is my security blanket, so naturally I wanted to find a conservative stylist. I was specifically interested in someone who could give me a great, technical cut who actually listened to my requests and was not scissor happy. I can’t tell you how much I recommend Melissa for all of these things and more! I loved my first haircut from the day of the cut, which is unusual since with most other stylists it took a week or two to settle in. Melissa prides herself on precision and is extremely conservative in cutting, especially at first, to ensure that your desired style and length is achieved. If this takes another round of cutting or layering, she is patient with going back in and giving you exactly what you want.I decided after a million years of having VERY dark hair to try something different and lighten it up with a balayage by Melissa, which is another one of her specialties. This was a particular challenge as I had previously dyed my hair myself with a box dye that was almost black. Melissa was patient and thorough in educating me on the process and what was involved, and I knew from the start that because of this I might not immediately get the exact color that I wanted. She owned that box dye, and I loved the color that came out and each iteration thereafter. I now just passed my third dye on this grow out, and I am absolutely LOVING my beautiful balayage results (see pics). Melissa is quite a chemist in the color department and she uses cruelty free products to boot, which is always a plus in my book.

Such a great concept- essentially creating an office building full of different types of salons. Its a one-stop shop! Great location, beautiful building, and I happen to really like the gal who does my hair.

I went to Sola Salon and it was the best experience that I’ve had while getting a haircut. Not only did my haircut look good but the service was exceptional! I got my hair cut by Karli and she did an amazing job!

Hard to say I loved the color. But wasnt really pleased with hair cut. Hair stylist offered to try and fix it. I wasnt thrilled to give a second chance. I mean... its my hair. It doesnt grow fast enough to fix a bad cut. I cancelled . Color 5 stars. Cut 3.

Sion does amazing work on my curls. She is Deva curl certified and used only devacurl products. She takes the time to learn about how I style my hair and treats it accordingly. My appointments are like hair therapy for my curls. My hair feels great after my deep condition and cut. I love that she cuts and styles my hair curly during my appointments.

Brianna cuts my hair. She gives great cuts that grow out well, plus she offers free cleanups between appointments. Her prices are pretty reasonable.
